Wolf Freed Page 3

by Sadie Moss

  They were so different.

  Fire and earth.

  Raging passion and controlled tenderness.

Separate, they were incredible… but together?

  Indescribable.

When West drew back for air, Rhys swooped in again, and they traded places like that for several long minutes, working my body up into a frenzy. Every time I thought I might overdose on one, the other would take over, pushing me higher and higher. Their hands roamed my body, skating lightly over the healing wounds on my side, squeezing and massaging my breasts, flicking and teasing my nipples.

While Rhys devoured my mouth, threatening to pull my soul out with his searing kiss, West pressed his full lips to the curve of my shoulder, the side of my neck, the shell of my good ear. I squirmed on the seat, so close to the edge of it I was almost falling off, but unsure which body to press myself against. I didn’t want to choose.

I wanted them both closer. So much closer.

Between the two of them, they had twice as many hands to work with as I did, but I tried to match them touch for touch anyway. With one of my hands on each of them, I ran my fingers over their hair—Rhys’s long, wavy black strands and West’s short hair, cropped close to his scalp—and down their chests, exploring the hard planes on each of them. West was the biggest of all my mates, his shoulders so broad and thick I always felt tiny next to him. Rhys was strong too, with the hard body and coiled muscles of a fighter.

Leaning forward, I worked my fingertips down their abdomens, and when I wrapped my hands around their cocks, I got a satisfying reaction from them both.

West sucked in a breath, tearing away from our kiss to press his forehead against mine while Rhys bit down hard on the junction where my neck met my shoulder. My core throbbed, and aching need spread through me as I felt their reactions to me—not just physically, but emotionally.

Rhys pulled away from the mark I was sure he’d left on my neck, his piercing blue eyes full of both dominance and worship. He had showed me once what he liked, and I remembered that lesson well, gathering the bead of precum at the tip of his thick length and working his cock in long, hard strokes.

I was gentler with West, but I could tell his body wanted more. His hips moved in small pulses, thrusting into my hand. Then he groaned, pushing on my shoulders and breaking my grip on them both.

Because it was West, I didn’t fight him, letting him take total control as he settled me back. I’d scooted so far forward that only my upper back and head rested against the seatback. The rest of my torso was sprawled awkwardly over the faux-leather seat as my legs hung off the edge.

“Didn’t she say we were supposed to take care of her, brother?” West murmured in a hoarse voice, his gaze flicking to Rhys.

His pack mate’s eyes glinted with an almost taunting light as a grin curved his mouth. “Oh, she did.”

“Then I guess we’d better do that.”

West smiled too as he spoke, and somehow, I knew having Rhys here was making this easier for him. The two of them had always had a special bond that went beyond what all the men shared, and even though West was far from over his worries about intimacy with me, sharing me with Rhys seemed to give him a confidence he might not otherwise have had.

And watching the two of them drink in the sight of me, sprawled open and ready for them?

I wasn’t sure I’d ever seen anything sexier in my life.

Rhys was the first to move. Handling my body with the same possessive dominance he always did, he hooked his hands behind my knees and tugged. My ass slipped off the edge of the seat, and I would’ve been embarrassed about the view the men were getting if my whole body wasn’t burning with an inner fire.

I twisted and writhed, too shy to arch my hips and force my core up toward Rhys’s face, but desperate for his mouth and tongue on me.

As if he could read my thoughts, the evil man darted that very same tongue out to lick his own lips, the action hungry and sensual. Goose bumps popped up over my skin, my earlier nausea completely forgotten as heady anticipation filled me like an electric charge.

He glanced at West then tilted his head in my direction. I had no idea what that secret signal meant, but West seemed to pick up the meaning immediately. He crawled onto the seat with me, lifting my upper body so he could slide in behind me, supporting me in his arms. I felt the hardness of his cock pressing against my back as he leaned over to kiss me.

The surprising new angle for this kiss and the feel of his warm skin against mine drew a moan from me.

  “Ahh!”

A guttural cry followed as Rhys buried his face between my legs, lapping at my clit with long strokes of his tongue. My whole body tensed, but he and West supported me, keeping me right where they wanted me. Almost no part of me was touching the seat anymore as I writhed in their arms, overwhelmed by too many sensations.

West’s thick, mocha-skinned arms wrapped around me, stabilizing and grounding me as his hands covered my breasts, massaging the aching flesh and rolling my nipples. His deep, consuming kisses swallowed up every noise I made as Rhys continued to torture me with his tongue, bringing me right to the brink of release with quick flicks and circles before backing off. When he stabbed his tongue inside me, fucking me with it, I felt wetness pour from me, and he groaned in satisfaction.

  “Please. Please!”

I gasped the words into West’s mouth, clinging to the back of his neck as I arched in their hold. Whatever shyness I’d felt earlier was gone now, and I shamelessly worked myself against Rhys’s face.

  “I think she wants something.”

West’s lips were swollen when he pulled them away from mine to mutter the words, and for a moment, the two of us looked down my body together, watching Rhys eat me out like I was his last meal. I felt West’s cock pulse against my back, already leaking precum, and I had a feeling the sight was turning him on as much as it was me.

Drawn by his words, Rhys’s bright blue eyes turned up to us, and he pulled back slightly. The bottom half of his face was damp, and he had both arms wrapped around my thighs, fingers digging into my skin as he supported me.

“I guess we’d better give it to her then,” he murmured, his gaze lingering on me before shifting to his pack mate.

Whatever silent communication they were using, it was all they needed. Working together like they shared a brain, they both moved again. West sat forward, wrapping his arms tight around me—still carefully avoiding the wounds in my side—and bringing us both up to sitting. His hard cock was sandwiched between us, pressing against my lower back, and he rocked into me gently, licking and sucking every bit of my skin he could reach.

At the same time, Rhys threw both my legs over his shoulders, freeing up a hand to slide two fingers inside me. He pumped them in a rhythm to match West’s as his lips clamped down around my clit, sucking hard.

  And I unraveled.

One hand latched onto Rhys’s hair while the other clawed at the back of West’s head as I arched my back—trying to bring them closer, trying to escape, trying to last one more second at the height of this unbelievable pleasure.

When the orgasm crashed into me, it was almost like its own kind of shift. As though my body tore itself apart and rebuilt itself anew into something better, stronger, altogether different and yet still, somehow, me.

Rhys kept pumping his fingers and suckling my hard nub as aftershocks quaked through me, and when they finally subsided, my body went limp in their arms.

  “I… uh… ahh…”

I couldn’t speak, and I wasn’t sure if it was physical exhaustion or total mental incapacitation.

Rhys withdrew his fingers and unwound my legs from his neck, a smirk tilting his lips. He wiped a hand across his face, a hint of worry darkening his eyes. “You all right, Lexi? Don’t make me regret this.”

  “Don’t… you… dare.”

He chuckled at the breathy words, rising from his knees to flop onto the bench seat beside us. His cock bobbed at the moveme
nt, thick and hard, standing straight up as he sank back against the seat with a self-satisfied look on his face.

When I reached for it, he grabbed my wrist, stopping me as my fingers wrapped around his girth.

“You don’t have to, Lexi. This was about taking care of you. That’s all.”

My brows drew together. Was he kidding? Did he seriously think this was any kind of hardship? That I didn’t want to take care of my mates the same way they took care of me? This was a relationship. A partnership.

Narrowing my eyes at him, I gave his cock a hard, firm stroke. His hips shifted upward, and a groan fell from his lips.

  Yeah. That’s what I thought.

I scooted out of West’s grip, and he released me, his fingers sliding along my skin. When I dropped down to the floor where Rhys had knelt earlier, his pupils dilated, the deep chocolate pools of his irises darkening as he watched me. I could see a hint of nerves behind his hooded eyes, and I ran a featherlight touch up and down his thick length, gripping Rhys with my other hand.

West shuddered, his eyelids dropping closed as he let out a breath.

“Scoot… closer together,” I instructed, my cheeks flushing a little as I organized the logistics.

Both men hesitated, gazes pinned on me. Then they each slid across the seat, closing the gap between them. With them this close, I could take in the breathtaking beauty of both men at once—their differences and similarities, the unique features that made each of them so dangerously handsome.

I licked my palm, making eye contact with Rhys as I did, then gripped him tightly and began to pump as I drew West into my mouth. Both men groaned, and my sated body sparked back to life, the sound alone making my clit throb.

Awkwardly at first, then with growing confidence, I moved between them, using my hand on one and my mouth on the other, then switching.

“Oh fuck,” Rhys muttered, his fingers tangling in my hair as I sucked him hard, hollowing my cheeks.

Their hips moved restlessly, the sides of their bodies pressing against each other as they lost themselves in my touch. When I drew back to switch positions again, my gaze flicked upward…

  And I froze.

Rhys and West were watching each other, eyes locked as they both breathed deeply.

Something new passed between them, and I wrapped my fists around each of them, determined to keep giving them pleasure but unable to tear my gaze away from the sight.

I wasn’t sure who moved first—or maybe they moved in perfect sync like they always seemed to—but as their abs tightened and contracted, hips working against my strokes, their lips collided.

It was beautiful, passionate, and so. Fucking. Hot.

My hands worked faster, my breath coming in sharp gasps as I watched my mates devour each other. West fisted Rhys’s hair, and Rhys held his pack mate’s face in one strong hand, his other still tangled in my hair, as they moaned and grunted into each other’s mouths. Then the tension peaked, and they both came hard, spilling thick ropes over my fingers and across their stomachs, shuddering and jerking.

Slowly, their lips broke apart, but their foreheads still rested together, eyes closed as they caught their breath.

Holy shit. Has that ever happened before?

West and Rhys had always been close, but I had a strong suspicion this event was a first. I also had a feeling it would only happen when they were with me, as though I was the conduit for these two men to express another part of their love for each other.

Their eyes opened, hesitant gazes meeting, reading each other’s expressions. Then they blinked, seeming to come out of a daze, and both my mates turned to look down at me. Something too big for words filled the small space of the van as the moment hung suspended in time. My heart swelled in my chest, love for these two men nearly overwhelming me.

The side door was still open, and the little sounds of the forest finally reached my ears again.

“Um… little help here?” I bit my lip, wriggling my sticky fingers.

Rhys’s brows drew together, a strange expression stealing over his face.

Then he dropped his mouth open, tilted his head back, and laughed. West chuckled too, which made me giggle. A moment later, we were all guffawing, bodies relaxing against each other as our lungs heaved with breathless mirth.

Finally, our laughter faded. West grinned broadly, his dimples popping out in full force as he gazed down at me, his eyes happy and warm.

  “Sure. I’ll sacrifice my shirt.”

  Chapter Five

We drove back to the hotel in peaceful silence. West and Rhys stole occasional glances at each other from the front seat, turning back to check on me every once in a while too.

The door had been open, but the van still smelled like sex, and every breath through my nostrils made me blush and burn with pleasure at the same time.

I sincerely doubted this was what Val had had in mind when she suggested our little hunting trip, but it had been exactly what I needed. For the moment, my stomach was feeling much better, and I could feel the fresh meat in my stomach bolstering my strength. The shifter woman had told me her morning sickness was worst in the early days of her pregnancy and went away quickly, so I held out hope that the end was in sight.

  It’d better be, anyway.

Because judging by the furtive glances from Rhys and West, concern still lurked outside the little bubble of happiness we’d built for ourselves. If I didn’t improve soon, I would have to tell my mates what was going on before they went out of their minds with worry.

The motion of the van was soothing, and my eyelids had started to droop by the time we made it back to the worn-down hotel on the outskirts of Meridian. Rhys had just pulled into a spot in the corner of the lot when a heavy thump against the back of the van made me jump.

A second later, Jackson yanked the side door open, his amber eyes finding mine immediately. Rhys hadn’t even turned off the ignition yet.

“There you are! You gotta come. Quick!”

My heart slammed into overdrive as I scrambled from the seat, heaving the door shut behind me. Rhys and a shirtless West hopped out after me, and the four of us sprinted across the parking lot toward the front entrance.

For the most part, we tried to stay off the front desk’s radar. We didn’t allow pack members to leave in large groups or spend time in the lobby. Our whole goal was to remain invisible to the hotel staff, to be boring and quiet enough for them to basically forget we were here. Sprinting across the pavement like we were on fire definitely broke that rule, but given the panic in Jackson’s eyes, I wasn’t sure it mattered.

Something far worse was happening inside.

He held out a hand to slow us when we reached the lobby. So maybe the entire staff didn’t know about the problem, whatever it was.

Maintaining a calm, nonchalant pace as we crossed the small expanse was one of the hardest things I’d ever done. The front desk clerk’s gaze flicked to us, an annoyed line appearing between her brows before she looked back at the blaring television in front of her. I couldn’t imagine what kind of previous clientele the hotel had hosted to make our ragtag group appear fairly normal by comparison, but I thanked God for them.

As soon as the elevator doors closed behind us, I turned to Jackson. “What’s happening?”

My mate grimaced, pressing the button for the second floor. “There was an… altercation in one of the rooms. It spilled out into the hallway, and… well… shit. Come on, you fucker!”

He jammed the button bearing the faded number two again, as if pressing it over and over would make the elevator move faster. My hands tightened into fists, clenching with nervous energy. A moment later, there was a ding, and the doors slid open again on the second floor.

I heard the problem before I saw it.

Low, fierce growls filled the air, punctuated by the occasional barking whine. I stepped out of the elevator, my gaze sweeping up and down the hallway. Several yards away, a mass of people was gathered, pressed so ti
ghtly together I couldn’t see past them. Deep gouges had been dug into the chintzy, brightly colored carpet, and there was a cracked indentation on the wall, as if something large had slammed into it.

  “Shit!”

Racing toward the gathered pack members, I prayed the desk clerk hadn’t heard anything. This was an old building with thick, solid walls, and she’d had the volume on the TV up pretty high. But damn it, if we didn’t stop this soon, someone was going to notice.

The Lost Pack members parted to make way for me even as the growls and whines grew louder, and as I broke through their ranks, my heart sank. Two wolves faced off in the tight confines of the hallway. Noah, Sariah, and a young, broad-shouldered man named Aaron were stationed between them—all in human form. The three of them stood side by side, using their bodies as buffers to try to keep the wolves from attacking each other.

“Alpha!” Aaron looked up as I arrived, his forest-green eyes flashing with worry. “They shifted, and they won’t shift back! I don’t even know if they can understand us.”

Damn it. I’d seen this happen to Rhys; I had felt it happen myself. In stressful situations or times of high emotional strain, the wolf would sometimes take over, overpowering the human side and claiming control. In the worst-case scenario, they would never shift back.

“Okay. Okay.” Panic chilled my skin as I stepped forward, glancing back at my three mates. “Keep an eye out for hotel staff. I’ll try to be quick.”

They nodded in unison before pushing back through the crowd to keep watch down the hall.

I didn’t even bother to strip. There was no fucking time. Instead, I let my alpha wolf rise to the surface, the force of the shift shredding the clothes from my body. My black nose twitched as the scents of confusion, fear, and panic flooded my nostrils. These wolves were on edge, fight or flight instincts kicking into high gear. I loped around to stand between them, joining Noah, Sariah, and Aaron. I felt my mate’s fingers sink into my fur, resting on my back as he offered silent support.
