"You took a while, but it was worth the wait," Marlon smiled.

  "Thank you," I replied.

"Anytime," he replied looking me up and down. How was he even attracted to me with this big belly? "Well come in ma," he chuckled and moved out the doorway.

I walked into his apartment, and it seemed so small compared to my home with Julius. I nodded in approval, hoping he didn't know what I was really thinking. His place reminded me of where I lived with my mother back in Indianapolis. It wasn't bad at all, but it was nothing to brag about.

"Would you like some cranberry apple cider?" Marlon asked as I sat on the couch.

  "Yes please," I smiled.

He walked away, and I heard the oven open in the kitchen. It made me wonder if Julius could cook. I was the one always cooking for him; Winnie or me. I loved cooking for him though, because he always acted like I was the greatest chef ever.

"Why you smiling?" Marlon asked, returning with my cider. Stop thinking about your husband Natalia! I thought.

"I'm just thinking about how nice this is," I lied and smiled.

"I see," Marlon nodded, and sat next to me with a beer. "Can I ask you something Natalia?" he finally spoke after about a minute of silence.

  "Okay," I responded.

"What's up with you and that husband of yours?" he frowned.

  "We are separated," I replied.

"Y'all have a legal separation?" he raised a brow. Legal separation? What the hell is that?

"Yeah," I lied not even knowing what it was.

"So what was all that shit the other day, when we were on a date?" he quizzed.

"Oh, h-he's just having a hard time letting go."

"Is he the only one having a hard time?" he asked suspiciously.

  "Yeah… why?" I frowned.

"Because I sat there and witnessed you guys kissing for a nice minute, before you finally pushed him off you."

"Oh. Marlon, I'm hungry," I said trying to change the subject.

"Natalia, I need answers," he said sternly.

"Okay, goodnight. I'm eight months pregnant, and I need food, not twenty-one questions," I said standing up slowly.

"Wait, wait. Chill. Let’s go eat," he smiled helping me up. I smiled back at him and headed to the kitchen.

For the rest of the night, we had pretty good conversation, but it was hard to get Julius out of my head. Marlon tried to kiss me, but I told him it was too much too soon. As soon as I got home, I smelled Julius' Dolce and Gabanna cologne in the foyer. I walked to, and up the stairs, before entering the bedroom. All the lights were off, but the moon shined just enough through our window, for me to see. Julius was lying in bed, looking on his phone.

"Where you been? You was with him?" he asked and looked up from his phone. The backlight of it was shining on his abs.

"Ye-yeah," I said as I neared the bed. I pulled my tube dress over my head, and dropped it into the chair.

Julius locked his phone, and then put it on the nightstand. He pulled my side of the covers back, and I climbed in. He cuddled up behind me, wrapped his arms around my body, and then palmed my belly.

"At least you know who to come home to," he whispered and kissed the corner of my mouth.

I didn't respond, and we both soon drifted off to sleep.

  Chapter 41: Julius

"Thank you for giving me a ride Julius," Franceska smiled as we walked towards the doctor’s office.

I wouldn't have even gotten out, but it was too hot outside. She said she was gonna be quick, so I didn't want to go somewhere just to have to come right back. I was only doing this shit, because out of all the bitches I fucked with besides Natalia, Franceska had never fucked me over. Fuck. Speaking of Natalia, she was walking out of the doctor building with Lucy.

"Really?" she frowned up at me.

"Baby, I'm just giving her a"

"A what Julius? The same thing you was giving her in that hotel room?" Natalia yelled, and tears started to well up in her eyes.

"Come on babe," Franceska had the nerve to say.

"Babe?" Natalia bucked her eyes. "Bitch, you lucky I'm pregnant," she glared at her.

"Natalia, relax baby girl," I said grabbing her arm.

"Don't touch me," she spat calmly and snatched her arm. "I want a divorce," she added.

"Well too damn bad! We ain't doing nothing Natalia! I'm doing her a favor by taking her to the doctor!"

"Oh, is she having your baby too? How many you about to have now, Ju?" Natalia frowned.

"She is not having my baby! You are the only one having my baby right now. Not her, nor Bianca," I shrugged.

"Come on Lucy," Natalia said walking off.

"Natalia... Natalia!" I called after her and she didn't turn around. "Don't you ever in yo’ fucking life, address me as nothing other than Julius in front of my wife. You got that?" I said through gritted teeth to Franceska. My face was so close to hers that I could feel the air coming out of her nose.

  "I'm sorry Ju, I"

"You did know. Get another fucking ride home," I spat, and walked off to my car, ignoring Franceska like Natalia had done me.

Once I got to the parking lot, I saw Natalia was still there. I jogged over, and lightly grabbed her arm.

"Nat, I swear to God babe. This was an innocent friendly gesture," I said with my hands in prayer mode.

"Why are you friends with a girl that you cheated on me with?" she frowned up at me.

"So now I can't have friends?" I frowned back.

"No! Not ones that you have had sex with Julius! You cheated on me with her! Do you love her or something?!" she cried.

"No babe. Hell no! I was just being nice. But if I can't have friends, then you can't be hanging out with ole boy," I said.

"What? He and I are just friends. He's never stuck his dick inside me."

"And he better not ever. Nor put his lips on any part of you. He better not even know what you look like without clothes," I glared down at her.

"Bye Ju," she said shaking her head, and walking back to the car.

"I love you Mrs. Tate!" I yelled after her and she flicked me off.

  Chapter 42: Natalia

I was relaxing on the couch, thinking about how I ran into Julius earlier. It seemed like he would never change. I hated him so much, yet loved him so much. He and Jackson were my everything, but I couldn't let him walk all over my heart anymore.

I looked over at my son sleeping on his tummy, and turned down the TV so it wouldn't wake him. My phone buzzed, just as I was turning on Netflix. I looked over and saw it was Marlon calling.

  "Hello?"

  "How you feeling?" he asked.

  "I'm okay. You?"

"I'm doing okay, I would be better if I could see you," he said, sounding like he was smiling.

"You really want to be with me?"

"Hell yeah Natalia, can't you see that by now baby?"

  "Okay boyfriend," I chuckled.

"For real?" he asked sounding excited.

  "Unless you"

"No! Hell no! I mean yes, girlfriend," he laughed. "Can I come see you tonight?" he asked.

"No, I'm relaxing right now. But we can go somewhere tomorrow," I offered.

  "Cool, see you tomorrow babe."

"Goodnight," I replied and hung up. What was I doing? They say the easiest way to get over someone, is by getting someone else, so I was gonna try it.

I smiled and lay back on my pillow, when suddenly my water broke.

"Winnie!" I called out as I clutched my stomach.

"Yes Mrs. Tate?" she came running in.

"My water broke. I need you to take me to the hospital, and call Julius!" I screamed.

  Chapter 43: Julius

  One Hour Earlier

Bianca had the baby, and she called me over to come see him. She said I needed to hurry up because he was gonna be sleep soon. I didn't care if he was sleep, but I was interested to see if he looked like me. I was a little upset that she didn't tell me she was
giving birth, since I had been unblocked her in my phone. She just randomly hit me up thirty minutes ago, and said to meet her at her apartment.

Before stopping by, I went to CVS and grabbed one of those DNA tests. She tried to play me by not having it done at the hospital, but that shit wasn't gone work. I needed this test done, because I was anxious to know. I would still get another one from a professional, just to double check in case she tried to discredit this one.

"About time," Bianca said, as her eyes searched behind me frantically.

"You good?" I asked as I walked in.

"Yeah, come on!" she said closing and locking her front door, and then walking to the back.

I followed her to her bedroom, and the baby was laying on Bianca’s bed sleep. I smiled ‘cause he looked nothing like me, but then again, I needed to know for sure. Looks only meant so much. She said he was a premature baby but he looked regular sized to me.

"What the hell are you doing nigga?" Bianca frowned as she saw me opening the kit.

"I'm about to test this little nigga," I replied, confused as to why she was surprised.

"No you're not!" she yelled lunging towards me.

I moved swiftly out the way, and she hit her dresser. She stood up and charged me again. We fell back on her bed, as she tried to wrestle the kit out my hand.

"Bianca, get the fuck up! You gone hurt the baby!" I yelled pushing her.

Just as she hit the floor, I heard her front door bust open. I hopped off the bed, and headed out the bedroom, only to run dead smack into a couple police officers. One walked past me, and picked Bianca up off the floor. He started to handcuff her, and the other started to handcuff me.

"Wait, what the fuck is going on here?" I asked squirming.

"You all are under arrest for child abduction," the officer cuffing me replied.
