  LIMBO.

Vince was in a wooden room. In front of him was a large door with a dented door knob, old and worn. Vince hovered his hand over the knob and grasped it, pulling the door open.

Inside was a bedroom and sitting on the bed was Debbie. She looked over at Vince and smiled.

  “I’m so sorry,” he whispered.

“What for?” she asked, combing her long red hair.

“For killing you both,” replied Vince.

“Don’t be so silly, that was the Red-girl,” replied Debbie placing a hand on her belly, “Come, sit down next to me and feel our baby.”

Vince entered the room but was pulled back. He turned and looked into the face of an man, with olive skin and cropped white hair, “Listen to me son, it’s a trap.”

Vince turned back and saw Debbie was now a scaly creature with large fangs. It leapt at Vince.

The stranger slammed the door shut and the room disappeared into thin air.

Vince and the stranger were now standing in a forest of tall white birch trees, three paths stretched out in front them.

“What was that? Where are we? Who are you?”

The stranger pressed his black rimmed glasses up the bridge of his nose. “Let me answer your three questions.”

One, that was a Bolus, they eat souls.

Two, we are in Limbo, inside the infamous Sevenfold labyrinth.

Finally, question three, my name is Samuel Keel and boy, we are in grave trouble.”

  The End.

Canopus and Keel will return in ‘The Coven.’
