Band of Bachelors: Jake Book 3 Page 16

He ran after his team and was the last to climb aboard. Within seconds the big machine lurched forward. Kyle was still strapping in when he sighed and said, “I was thinking of taking Christy to Cabo for a nice long vacation this fall. I’m liking the Caribbean much better.”

When they lifted off the ground every man cheered.

Even Jake was laughing and cheering his lungs out.

  Chapter 27

Christy and Ginger watched as news reports showed Jake’s picture as being the Navy SEAL detained by Mexican authorities for shooting an unarmed Mexican woman. Depending on the news media they watched, the story ranged from stories about how the SEALs were killers of women and children, to the fact that a secret mission to rescue innocent hostages used in a prostitution ring had been successful, even with one loss of life.

“Where do they get off telling these lies?” wondered Ginger.

“They make it all up. Whatever their audience wants, or so they think. But I imagine they’re not exactly getting much cooperation out of the Navy, either. And no one will ever report what exactly happened.”

“I don’t think Jake will tell me.” Ginger watched the girls taking turns chasing Brandon.

“Do yourself a favor, and don’t ask. Just don’t ask. Pretend they were on a fishing expedition and things happened. That’s it.”

Ginger had taken extra precaution to look good. Christy had lent her some clothes and makeup. They washed the girls’ clothes so everyone looked their very best for the two daddies to come walking through the front door. That’s the way Christy did it, she told Ginger. She always waited until Kyle was ready to walk through her front door, and then she knew he was back. Until then, he was still a SEAL, and he was still hunting the bad guys.

“When he crosses my threshold, his ass is mine, and he knows it, Ginger. He belongs to me, and I get to do anything I want with him.”

Ginger was more nervous than Christy was. Whatever Jake came home with, she’d deal with it. If he didn’t want to talk, she’d remind him, just like Christy said. That seemed like the only plan that made sense.

At two o’clock the two Hummers pulled up. Christy and Ginger waited, with the kids dressed, pressed and clean, standing in front of them.

Kyle was the first one in, and Brandon did a flying leap into his arms. Little Maggie hugged his leg, but Kyle was headed over to Christy, and nothing was going to stop him.

Ginger stepped aside and watched as he and Christy got lost in themselves.

And then Jake was at the doorway. He had a four-day-old beard, but his eyes were clear. Jennie and Jasmine erupted into screams and ran to his side. He got to his knees and hugged each of them, one at a time. Both the girls were sobbing. Ginger’s cheeks were glistening with tears as well.

Jake stood up, all six-foot something of him, with that almost bashful gait he had, the smirk on his lips, his eyebrows raised. He was nodding, and taking his sweet time to get over to her.

“Damn you, Jake, get over here!” she screamed. He did exactly that, picked her up and swung her around the room. Fiona Chelsea barked at the intruders, but Jake was undeterred. He put Ginger down, held her face between his hands and kissed her.

“I’m home, Ginger. I came home to you. Nobody but you.”

His embrace nearly knocked the wind out of her. She tried her best to match his strength, knowing she’d fall short.

The tearful welcome lasted nearly an hour as the children told stories of what they’d been doing while their fathers were away. The time was given entirely over to them. Several times Ginger saw Christy smiling at her from across the room. She saw her negotiate with Kyle, holding the puppy up, trying to convince him to get one for their kids. Brandon didn’t leave Kyle’s side, but stayed connected however he could, looping his arm around his dad’s, or hanging on to a pocket, or his leg.

At last it was time to go home. Ginger thanked Christy for her support, and for showing the way.

“You’ll do it some day, Ginger. You’ll see some little girl who hasn’t got a clue what being married to a SEAL is all about, and you’ll just take her under your wing, and you’ll show her why she’s in love with the best kind of guy in the world. Not perfect, but you’re gonna tell her what a great choice she made. Especially when she doubts it.

  “I will.”

They said good-bye. Ginger followed behind Jake’s truck. The girls wanted to ride with their dad.

She thought about everything that had gone on these past few days. How her life had changed since that evening in Las Vegas. How she’d had the courage to confront a mistake she’d made long ago in forcing Jake from their home by withholding her trust of him.

She put the girls to bed while Jake unloaded his Hummer and stowed his things in the closet of their master in a special compartment he’d built years ago and was still there.

He stripped off his shirt and left his tee shirt on, being called into the girls’ room to say good night.

Ginger watched as he kissed each one and had a little thirty second prayer with both girls, very personal, out of earshot of anyone else. She’d forgotten that had been his routine at one time, and her heart swelled to see it had come back so easily.

It was agreed that the puppy would start out sleeping with Jennie. Ginger knew they’d be up most the night playing with the pup and making sure she was taken outside.

Jake pulled her backward and shut the girls’ bedroom door. He led her to the master. “I need a shower, and I know just the right person to get me feeling clean and whole again.”

“Your wish is my command.” She slipped off her clothes and before stepping into the shower, Jake took her in his arms, and they stood together naked. “I meant what I said, Ginger. I came home for you.”

“This is your home. It’s always been your home. I was a fool.”

“No, no. I was. And then I kept being a fool. I should have turned right back around and come back. I wanted to, honey. I thought about it every day. I was out there looking for you, and you were here the whole time.”

“It’s all about the future now, Jake.”

In the warm spray of water, she found Jake to be tender, careful, and patient. Her fingers smoothed over his hard muscles, as the bubbles from the lemon wash floated tantalizingly over his hard body. Her most favorite part of Jake was the place right next to his heart, where she could hear him breathing, where he sometimes groaned his need for her. He was like a solid wall of man who would always be there for her.

But his big stubby fingers were tender. She loved how they smoothed over her skin, hands that had seen bloodshed and war, but hands that were caring and dedicated to saving innocents.

Their exploration and play became more intense. Jake turned off the water.

“Showtime!” he said as he threw a towel at her.

In bed, his fingers laced through her hair as he kissed his way from her neck down to between her legs and watched as his tongue on her nub made her jump.

His thighs lifted hers as he angled down on her, relentless in his pursuit to mount and consume her.

Tonight he would take the lead. Her body was ripe for him to take control of their lovemaking and show her his tender side. She’d learned in their early marriage this was a routine he favored when he got home from deployments. She’d give him the control tonight, and early in the morning she’d wake him up just so he knew how much she needed him. She wanted to surprise him, make it so he never wanted to leave her bed. But for the next hour, or however long he wanted to make love, she she belonged to him.

He grabbed her arms above her head and pushed deep inside her. Back and forth he softly stroked, needing and giving, wanting and taking. She arched as she got close to shattering, and he slowed, kissing her neck.

  “You like that, baby?”

“I never want it to end.”

“I’ll do my best to make it last, sweetheart.”

In the darkness, the shadow of his body looming over hers as he groaned, placing hi
s hands beneath her rear and raising her up to accept him. His massive hands held her hips in place as he moved his hips back and forth, stretching and stroking everything inside that needed filling. She pressed her hands to his buttocks and squeezed and heard his muffled cry next to her ear.

The layer of sweat that covered his chest shone in the moonlight. Balancing on his hands he was looking down on her, waiting for her. “Take me, baby. Take me to the moon,” he whispered and bent down to kiss her. “Come for me, sweetheart.”

Her body erupted out of control. She arched first and then sank back into the bed as her internal muscles took hold, desperate to be devoured. He shuddered and held her still, so they both could feel the delicious coming together as he filled her.

Their lovemaking had always been beautiful, but tonight she was overcome, tears streaming down her face.

“Don’t cry, baby,” he whispered. “Everything’s going to be okay. You’ll see.”

“God, I thought I’d lost you, Jake.”

“Never, sweetheart. I’ll always be here. Not going anywhere.”

It wouldn’t be easy, they had told her, but it would be worth it. It was a night she never wanted to end. And it was the start of a life together that would last forever.

  Fredo’s Dream

  Chapter 1

Special Operator Alphonso Manuel Esquidido “Fredo” Chavez knew he was dreaming but he liked the subject matter, so coaxed his fantasy a bit longer, willing to keep his eyes closed. In his dream, he had just landed and was carrying nearly a hundred pounds of gear, stumbling out of T.J.’s new Hummer, yet propelling as fast as his legs could carry him up his front walkway and into the arms of his wife Mia. The sound of her soft breath was the first part of her that began the conversion from fighting man to lover. She never failed to make his homecoming spectacular, and today was no exception.

“Ah, Fredo, my love. I have missed you terribly,” she whispered as he nuzzled into her hairline, kissing her long beautiful neck and licking the space between her breasts. If he had to die, he hoped he could take his last breath with his face buried in her cleavage. Even better if he was rooted deep between her legs.

His hands slipped over her warm, bare ass. The dress she wore melted to the floor in a colorful puddle of orange and yellow flowers.

He’d dropped his duty bag somewhere. Now he dropped his pants and absorbed her laughter as he showed her his pink boxers. This made him nearly wake up. But soon she was kneeling in front of him, completely naked, searching for his shaft, clutching his butt cheeks and moaning in that soulful way only Mia could do. She was beside herself with need and he aimed to satisfy that need tonight and keep himself hard for as long as she wanted it. Only in a dream could this be. He felt the chuckle in his belly vibrate against her forehead as she worshiped him on her knees. A better homecoming could not be had.

The scene changed and he was now in their large bed, her hot sweaty body calling to him. He had tasted her all over. He had lapped the sweat from her forehead and the juices between her legs, hungry for her still.

He carefully lifted her knees over his shoulders then undulated forward as he sought oblivion deep inside her, rubbing against her delicate channel from several angles, first slow, then fast, then slow again, drawing her kisses long, pulling her up to him by gripping her hips. Her shoulders lay back with her black hair splayed over the pillow, her enormous tits shaking as he stroked her quickly, then stopped to let her luxuriate in his powerful thrusts.

This was what made the deployments worth it. Homecomings were always done in bed. He usually gave her a head’s up the instant he landed on either coast, so she could arrange a play date for little Ricardo with one of the other SEAL families who had not just come home. Everyone in the community understood how important that first day was when they got home from deployment. They all knew about their men’s need to be intimate and why. It was the first thing they’d all do on their home country’s soil, an unbroken ritual to melt the stink of war off them all. There was purity in it, a long beautiful cleansing as he made love to Mia, as they all loved their wives—the vehicle to getting fully back home. It never changed.

He leaned back to watch the beauty of his penetration, see how her pink lips fit so snug around him and accepted his girth. It wasn’t fair she couldn’t see it like he could. Burying himself inside her was truly one of the miracles of being alive.

“Fredo, my love, make me grow a baby inside. Please. I want your baby.”

Even in dreamstate, there was a dose of reality there, piercing like a hot surgical steel blade in his heart. He saw the picture of his sperm, unmoving, with dented heads. He couldn’t look at her as his seed began to burst from him, filling her. He closed his eyes, and felt himself pulse, rocking her, giving her everything he had.

When he opened his eyes, her belly had grown. It grew larger still as he pumped his last. His eyebrow knitted and his forehead puckered above it. He scrambled off her, smoothing over the taught skin and inverted belly button of her tummy.

  “Mia!”

“Oh Fredo, thank you! Now I can give you back what you’ve given me for so long. Thank you my love.”

She arched her back, her knees bent, and he saw something move in her belly. Was it an arm, a leg or the head of his child moving there inside her? He felt the movement as it responded to his gentle touch on his wife’s flesh.

Her face was in ecstasy as she bore down, contractions coming, her eyes fixated on him, a hungry smile on her lips as she bit herself. “Oh, Fredo, I do this for you!” He saw she was in pain, but at the same time it was pure pleasure to her. “Take my baby, Fredo. Take our baby.”

He quickly scanned the liquid space between her legs, now flushing blood and red-tinged fluids. In the sea of birthing fluid came blood of his blood, a baby born, still attached to her. As he picked it up, miraculously the skin pinkened and he held it in a soft blanket that had also magically appeared. The infant gazed up at him. The child was older than a newborn all of a sudden.

His attention was drawn back to her body again as another child appeared. He lay the first two into Mia’s bedside as she cooed and kissed them both. When he delivered yet a third infant, the first two had grown large enough to crawl off the bed of their own accord, chubby arms and legs scrambling. The toddlers righted themselves, their laughter and squeals again pulling at his heartstrings. They ran out the bedroom door like chubby-cheeked cherubs from Heaven, black curly hair covering their heads.

The new baby was placed at Mia’s side. His concern was growing, but Mia’s face was in full repose, enjoying his look of shock and awe.

“What is this?” he asked, as another baby presented itself to him. He barely had time to give this new child to Mia when another appeared.

“Our family, Fredo. Our family is growing, Fredo. You are strong in seed and you have given me many children, just like I wanted.”

“No, Mia, something isn’t right. The children—” He stopped because the two toddlers at her side suddenly made their way off the bed and joined the other two somewhere in the house. The sounds of happy play, laughter and beginning speech patterns filled his head.

He presented the newest baby, wrapped and cleaned as if some mysterious midwife had prepared him, to Mia who accepted the new child with kisses, even as she arched to deliver yet another.

Fredo had to stand up. His heart was pushing limits toward emotional overload. He searched the bed, his hands, and found no traces of blood. A child stared up at him again, again cleaned and pink, kicking arms and legs and cooing, from between Mia’s legs. Mia was releasing yet another child to the bed sheets, and Fredo picked up the toddler to make roo
m for another. The little boy wiggled his way out of his arms, and slipped to the floor, running off in the direction of the others.

Now worry began to tug at his belly. He looked back to his wife who seemed unconcerned, her breasts engorged with milk, nursing a child as another one was delivered. Her sultry smile filled him with fear.

“Mia. This is too much. This isn’t—”

“See how strong your seed is, my love? You unleash your manliness inside me, just like I’ve always wanted. You cause me to bear enough children for the whole world. You make me the earth mother I always wanted to be. Thank you, my love. Look at the evidence of our love!”

He turned and saw a crowd of toddlers at the doorway.

“Hello, Papa,” they started to say, one by one. Some waved to him. Some smiled. Some looked down shyly at their toes.

“How can we afford all these children?” he asked her. He fell back, sitting on the edge of the bed as the children came over to hug his legs, putting their heads in his lap, on his knees. He worried about his nakedness, but suddenly realized he was fully clothed. With joy, his fingers touched the heads of these cherubs, stroking their curly hair and feeling the warmth of their little bodies, cupping their cheeks and drawing them to him, one by one.

Mia threw her head back and laughed, her long neck arching, her breasts leaking milk all over her belly and the bed sheets at her sides.

Earth mother indeed! She had transformed into a baby-making machine. He was being overridden with flesh of their combined flesh, children who wanted a piece of him. He could only hold one or two at a time, while the others pouted and asked for attention. He allowed himself to be overcome, letting the children crawl, covering him as he lay back at Mia’s feet, now confident this was the limit to the birthing.

He had suddenly gone from a dad raising another man’s child to a father with almost a dozen children. They pressed against him, kissing his neck, tugging at his hair, and whispering words of affection like Heaven’s little angels.
