PARTMENT
Walker is covering Richardson with his body when the grenades EXPLODE.
He picks up the two machine guns he got from Soldier #1 and #2 and heads for the door, grabbing Harpers' trench coat along the way.
WALKER
(to Richardson)
Come on!
Although shell-shocked, she follows him.
INT. HALLWAY
The hallway is a gruesome sight as they walk out into it. The rest of the Soldiers from the Strike Team are lying in the hallway. They are a mangled mess.
WALKER
Look for any weapons that aren't damaged!
Richardson fights back the sick feeling in her stomach as she searches through what is left of the bodies.
RICHARDSON
Oh, my God...Are these men; are they like you?
WALKER
No, they're human. Hilliard's mercenaries.
Walker finds a demolition satchel that one of the Soldiers was carrying. He pulls out the same type of explosive disk that was used to blow open the door. He peels off the plastic layer.
WALKER
Keep looking for functional weapons. I'll be right back...
INT. STEALTH HELO ONE
The Pilot is nervous.
PILOT #1
...Team Leader, do you copy?...Talk to me someone!
TYSON (O.S.)
Helo-one, we have you in sight, what's the situation?
PILOT #1
I don't know, sir. I've lost communication...
TYSON (O.S.)
Fall back and cover us Helo-one...
The Pilot squints and SEES the figure of a man through the smoke in the apartment.
PILOT #1
Wait...I think I see someone...It might be one of ours…
TYSON (O.S.)
(serious)
Fall back, Helo-one!
Walker emerges from the smoke, causing the startled Pilot to FIRE without aiming.
The bullets STRIKE the wall above Walker as he runs out onto the balcony and throws the explosive disk at the SHIMMERING helicopter.
The disk flies through the air and STICKS to the windshield.
The Pilot realizes what it is and frantically HITS at the window, trying to knock it off.
PILOT #1
No!
The bomb EXPLODES, killing her and leaving a huge hole in the window of the helicopter.
It's stealth mode disengaged, the helicopter lurches forward, out of control.
