PARTMENT
The helicopter is heading for the apartment as Walker runs for the front door. He SEES Richardson at the doorway.
WALKER
Hit the floor!
They both dive for the hallway as the helicopter CRASHES through the apartment.
The helicopter doesn't explode, but the force of the impact sends debris flying like shrapnel. A large piece of the rotary blade flies off and RIPS through the wall, embedding itself a foot above Richardson's head.
INT. STEALTH HELO TWO
Tyson has witnessed the events that have just taken place.
TYSON
(angry)
Oh, bloody hell! I told her to back off!
(pause; to Pilot #2)
...Take out the whole floor, we'll search the rubble afterwards.
PILOT #2
What about the team we've got in there?
TYSON
Dead, I'm sure. But, to be honest, I could really care less at this point even if they aren't.
Pilot #2 moves the helicopter into position.
INT. HALLWAY
Richardson is searching for Walker among the smoke and debris. She HEARS the sound of movement, then a moment later spots Walker.
RICHARDSON
Are you okay?!
He looks beaten up.
WALKER
...Yeah...I'll feel even better if you could help me out.
RICHARDSON
Sure...what is it?
He turns his back to her and REVEALS a piece of metal sticking in his back. Richardson GASPS.
WALKER
I can't reach it...
She pulls out an eight inch rod from his back and drops it to the floor.
RICHARDSON
(shocked)
My God.
WALKER
...Gather up the weapons.
She picks up two machine guns that weren't damaged in the blast and tosses them to Walker. She pulls out a pistol from a holster on a dead Soldier and checks it over for damage.
RICHARDSON
We can't take on the whole police force, Walker.
WALKER
Whatever it takes for us to get away, Susan.
They quickly walk down the hall.
