PARTMENT

The ruptured gas line continues to pour gas into the apartment.

  INT. HALLWAY

Walker and Richardson have made it to the end of the hallway. There is a window and a stairway exit.

  RICHARDSON

  The stairs?

Walker moves over to the window.

  WALKER

No, they'll have the lobby covered.

He looks down and SEES a police car parked four stories below in the alleyway. There are two POLICE OFFICERS standing next to the car with their guns drawn.

  WALKER

  Let's take a shortcut.

Walker FIRES his automatic weapon at the window. The glass breaks apart leaving a hole big enough to fit through.

  WALKER

  Get on my back.

  RICHARDSON

  You've got to be joking!

  WALKER

I lost my sense of humor decades ago. Climb on!

She reluctantly climbs onto his back.

  RICHARDSON

  This is insane!

  EXT. ALLEY

Walker steps out onto the window ledge and looks down at the Police Officers below.

  POLICE OFFICER #1

  Freeze! Drop the weapons!

  WALKER

  (to Richardson)

  Hold tight!

Richardson wraps her arms and legs around him. Walker takes a step off the ledge as the Police Officers OPEN FIRE.

  INT. STEALTH HELO TWO

The Pilot has locked the weapon guidance system onto apartment eleven. He presses the launch button and several guided missiles are FIRED into the apartment.

The BLAST from the missiles and from the broken gas line is incredible. Virtually every window in the complex is BLOWN OUT as a huge fireball extends upward into the night sky.

  EXT. ALLEY

Walker is FIRING both machine guns at the two Police Officers as he plummets feet first. Both Officers and their car are HIT by a hail of bullets.

Walker lands feet first onto the hood of the car, the IMPACT causes the hood to buckle and hub caps to fly off.

He falls over in pain. Richardson is a little bruised, but okay.

She looks up at the fireball in the sky.

  RICHARDSON

  ...Jesus!

She slides off the car and helps Walker to his feet.

  RICHARDSON

  Are you okay?!

  WALKER

I won't be running any marathons today, but I'll live.

She helps him down the alley to the street, then pulls out her FBI badge and runs over to a car parked at a red light.

  RICHARDSON

  (to Driver)

FBI Agent! I am commandeering your vehicle! Exit your car, now!

  DRIVER

Woman, get the hell out of my way!

  She pulls her handgun out.

  RICHARDSON

I said get out of the damn car, now!

She FIRES a round, shattering the windshield. The Driver quickly gets out of the car and runs away. Richardson gets in the driver seat as Walker emerges from the alley and enters the car. She puts the car in drive and floors the gas pedal.
