Dark Facade (Book One) (Dark Facade Series)

Closing his eyes, it wasn’t Missy’s blonde hair he imagined stroking, but Maxine’s and her dark pink lips gripping his manhood instead of Missy’s light pinkish ones. He threw his head back going deeper into his imagination letting Missy physically take him to the threshold but mentally caught up in the dream of Maxine’s sensual moans and just knowing she could be pleasuring him orally.
His body tensed and he let his guard down and called out Maxine’s name. Fuck!
Missy didn’t look at all upset. Matter of fact, she looked amused as she cleaned him with a warm wash cloth.
“That is a pretty name,” she commented.
“She’s a pretty girl,” he retorted.
“She means a lot to you. You’ve never been this distracted before since I met you.”
“She’s dear to me.”
Missy smiled happily. “And does she take that dark cloud from your heart, Philippe.”
He looked at Missy very seriously knowing this woman knew his moods all too well. Would Maxine ever get like that? Would Maxine even have the knowledge or talent to do what Missy could do to him physically? “Take your tip out of my billfold,” he ordered ignoring Missy’s question.
He tried his best never to get too personal.
Missy walked over to his jacket and took some money out. “When will you return to Chicago?”
Philippe adjusted his pants and put an arm up too lean his head on. “I don’t know, but would you be willing to come to Detroit to help me with something?” he asked.
“You know I would move the earth if I could for you, Philippe.”
He knew that. Missy had admitted a long time ago that she showed more affection to him than any of her other customers. As a high priced erotic groomer, she didn’t have time to get personal with any clients, but with Philippe, she had fallen in love the moment she set eyes on him.
In the past, Philippe would find business in Chicago to get him to see her. Missy was about the only woman who could take care of him properly and didn’t complain of his size. Plus, she was always straight to the point. No games, no expectations.
Having old money, women were drawn to him and the fact that he had a face and body made his money look even more attractive. Endowed with his family’s business since he was twenty-five, Philippe found women to be of one use, since none of them compared to what he wanted.
Yet what he wanted didn’t compare to what his family wanted so in the end after two divorces and sending his own son and daughter off to college, he found himself in a strange situation - Alone, longing, and hoping for something to come his way.
Of course his children worried about him, but no one knew the truth except his father, so Philippe thought he put it all to rest in the past and thought it would never surface again.
Strange how life always dealt the hand he least expected.
After Missy packed up, he told her, “My assistant should call you in a less than a week to make arrangements, so please clear your schedule.”
When she was gone, Philippe hooked up his laptop and immediately pulled up the file he had been looking at for the past week. Maxine’s digital picture came up and he stared at the screen for a very long time.
Drawing his fingers over her lips, he remembered the taste of them and wished she was here so he could taste them again. He had thought his obsession about her had been crazy until he had met a new business partner, William Stone, in Ohio. He was a black, Italian, Hispanic mixed running a very lucrative car restoration, detail and design firm, but needed investors to expand the business to Detroit and Chicago. Philippe’s lawyer had connected them two years ago and since then it had been an unexpected lucrative association that had amazingly helped Philippe make money for his father’s company as well. Yet, Philippe didn’t tell his father the information or of the fortune he had put away as investment for other endeavors. William had given some hints on automotive tech stocks that Philippe was currently working on, all the while still faithfully running the family’s business, which he hated.
Somehow they had started speaking about William’s past life. It didn’t bother Philippe that William had been the son of a serial killer because it didn’t bother William to know Philippe was the son of a racist.
Drawing his mind back to the screen and running a sexually frustrated hand through his long hair, which was the last defiant thing he continued to do just to piss his father off, Philippe longed to get back to Detroit to see how his Maxine was. Of course, he was given text updates by her handlers, but that wasn’t enough.
How the hell had she gotten involved in this?
Looking at her answers to her questions, Philippe couldn’t find any reason as to how Maxine could have met up with Lisa, the society’s personal recruiter and Devon’s spy.
Maxine’s life was very different from the women who were recruited and her intelligence level was way up compared to what he was used to dealing with. He truly expected her to be defiant due to her educational level. Most black educated women wouldn’t dare tolerated the treatment these women were getting at the society, and they would have stood up for all the other women who were getting any type of cruel treatment.
Yet, Maxine did her best to be humble and docile. He could see her defiance, yet she restrained herself and obeyed to the very letter. Yet she wasn’t scared of pain or being hurt.
But her body was definitely terrified of pleasure.
He remembered the fear coming to her eyes when he touched her body, but under his touch she seemed to become so mindless. Was she like that with other men?
Jealousy filled him instantly and he really wanted to get back to Detroit. Not just to be near and protect her, but Philippe had every intentions of having his way with Maxine all night long until he was sexual filled.
What scared Philippe the most was he knew even after he had quenched his sexual thirst for her all night, he would never really quench his passion for her. Ever!
