Elisia Goodman at Dedicated Book Promotions - I can't thank you enough for the gorgeous teasers and promotional materials you put together for me. You've helped me get this book into the hands of so many readers and for that I am eternally grateful. Devoted readers are worth their weight in gold and thanks to you I have the chance to touch their hearts through Jesse and Rhyann's story. You are amazing and a delight to work with! I will definitely recommend your company to fellow authors.
Shawn - Girlfriend, you have been in this with me through thick and thin. You were there 30 years ago when I wrote my first romance novel, and to this day you are the only other soul who has read it! You told me back then that one day I would make it, and here we are. While I'm not sure that I've made it just yet, I am proud to say that I am on my way, and I owe a lot of that to you. You have loved me and cheered for me along the way. I love how I can shoot you a text and share a sexy scene with you and you don't judge, you just beg me for more (haha)! I love you and I thank God for bringing you into my life way back when. We may be a bit older, but between you and me I think we've only gotten better!! Hold on to your ass because I've got a lot more stories just itching to come out and I'm counting on you to be there for me. I love you girl!
To everyone that is part of the Facebook Group HEA Seekers Book club - Thank you for your support, coming to my rescue, and making me laugh while I was fighting with my table of contents and having a meltdown. Jess Hodges, DE Kermon, Kirsty Turner, and Rhiannon King - You ladies are amazing! You jumped right in and took a chance on a new author and I can't thank you enough for that level of trust. Your reviews and willingness to chat with me on messenger when I was doubting myself have been such a blessing.
To fellow authors Lauren Stewart, Brittainy C. Cherry, and Caisey Quinn - I would like to thank each of you for your advice, support, making me laugh, your amazing stories, for being an inspiration, and for simply giving me the time of day when I asked for help. Mere words can't adequately describe how much that meant to me.
Finally, to all of the bloggers and readers that took a chance on a fledgling author and read a story that came from her heart, thank you for supporting me in this journey. Without all of you, this wouldn't be possible. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I hope to bring you many more stories, and I welcome your feedback. Visit my Facebook page Author R.L. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I have been a lot of things throughout the course of my life, but being a wife and mother remain at the top of my list. Writing is my passion and you can usually find me sitting at my laptop, or frantically jotting down a new idea in one too many notebooks. I love creating new characters, and I squeal with delight when I receive feedback on anything I have written.
I currently reside in the Midwest with my husband of more than 20 years, and our two children. We live in a house that we designed and built, and, thanks to my doting husband, it remains clean while I get lost in the world of my current story.
My daughter is a graphic designer, and together we have created covers for each of my published books.

Miles Apart
(Part Two of The Not So Bad Boys of Rock Series)
Watch the Trailer
From the author of Across the Miles, comes the sequel to the love story of Sebastian and Brooke. Go back to the days after Brooke left for London, and find out what happened to place Sebastian in that hotel room with nothing but memories and a bottle of whiskey.
What happens to America's favorite rock star when his picture perfect life falls apart? Again…
Sebastian and Brooke had a fairy tale romance, until one choice tore them apart. Brooke's decision to move away and run Max Wolf's struggling restaurant, Lardon's, stands in the way of Sebastian's plan to propose on the night of his birthday. They have a fight and he takes off, leaving her to board a plane to London without saying goodbye. While there, she meets Reid, a handsome chef who just happens to live in the same building she now calls home. Their newfound friendship, and Reid's attraction to her, only adds to the strain on her already fragile relationship with Sebastian.
Then, one out of control night changes everything as they know it, and their relationship is put to the test. Now, do they fight for what they love? Or choose to walk away? Will facing your demons destroy you? Or make you stronger? Surely, a love that was meant to be can face any obstacle.
A force too strong to ignore. A need so deep it aches. Undying love.
A heart may be broken, but it keeps on beating. And never gives up.
