  I shook my head, flabbergasted as I held onto his hand. “They were never here for us. They were here to stop Lucifer’s spawn from being born.” My stomach skydived into the ground as the full scope of the shitstorm hit me in the face. “And I just disabled the only beings in the world capable of stopping him.”
