  Chapter 20

Serena wondered if she were having a heart attack. Her breathing was erratic, her heart fluttering. The heat from his touch made her mouth dry.

  “Ass higher!” he snapped. “Now!”

Serena made sure her ass was high in the air, and she felt Dante spreading her ass cheeks. She held her breath, feeling the mattress behind her rock as he closed in on her. “Lordy,” she mumbled, in a shaky voice, her eyes closing. His cock’s hot head peeked its way into her passageway. Gasping, she felt an explosion of wild sensations as he slowly rode his thick, hard cock up her ass. “You really are pretty loose,” he said, his voice husky. He held her hips so they couldn’t move, and as her muscles rippled around him, the pain-pleasure of his cock’s invasion quivered through her ass straight to her stiff, hard clit. Her incredible tension burst, and she shuddered over and over again as if seizing as he unloaded inside of her. She was still shaking when he wiped her ass with a warm towel. She hadn’t remembered him going to get it. Her mind had been fogged by her pleasure.

As she continued to feel boneless, he lifted her into his arms again. Her arms and legs wound around him, and he kissed her neck as he carried her to the bathroom shower. She was light-headed as he set her down and turned on the showerheads. He handed her a cloth and kept one. She watched him, staring up at him, admiring how his dark hair matted to his perfect skull, his blue eyes as bright as ever, his full lips closed and lovely. She took his lead.

When he grabbed a spicy bar of soap off a ledge and started soaping her tits, causing her knees to turn to jelly, she shakily grabbed her own spicy bar of soap and lathered his nipples. He groaned and pulled her into him, lapping her neck, sliding down to her breasts and drawing on both, sinking to his knees to lick her pulsing slit as the water rained over both of them. Serena cried out and grabbed him around the neck, as her legs wobbled. “Dante, you’re so sexy,” she said, her throat tight as she spoke the words.

“You ain’t seen nothin’ yet,” he said in his fake Southern accent that he’d used before.

  “I can’t take much more!”

“You can. You will.” He put his entire mouth over her cunt and sucked.

“Oh!” she said, with a little yelp, throwing her head back, leaning even harder on him to support her. Fireworks exploded in her head, and stars flashed before her eyes. Her body was swept up in her sweet sensations, and she could barely remember her own name.

When he finally stopped, he rested his forehead on her thigh, his arms wrapped around both of her legs. The world was quiet except for the shower and their hard breathing. She could feel his breath tickling her thigh, near her sex. Damn him, he was never-ending male ecstasy. She fisted a hand into his thick hair, and he kissed her flesh. “Sugar, you’ll never see me on my knees again,” he muttered. “I don’t kneel at my lady’s feet…” His sentence trailed off as he quietly swore.

She had trouble swallowing. “Why did you do it then, Dante?”

She looked down at him as he shook his head. “I couldn’t help myself, but I’ll never do it again.”

  Serena smiled.

A moment later, he’d hoisted her over his shoulder, caveman style, turned off the showers, and stepped into the bathroom. Dante reached for a towel and flung it over her back, then carried her through the strange gym room and into their special bedroom. This time he set her on her back then stood over her with love in his eyes. “Damn, you’re amazing,” he said.

She smiled again. “So are you.”

The air-conditioning chilled her, but when he slid beside her, his nimble fingers playing with her nipples and clamps, his hot presence kept her plenty warm. She made little throat sounds, and he reached for her pussy, slipping his fingers up and down, wiggling her clit then squeezing it.

Chills erupted inside of her, as well as fireworks flashing before her eyes. She quivered as he played with her, out of her mind with pleasure, calling his name, finally trying to pull him down on top of her, but he broke her hold on him and stood above her. He couldn’t be leaving her tonight, could he? Desperate to keep him with her, she rolled out of bed and went to her knees, taking his hard, hot cock into her mouth and sucking on it, her eyes shut, concentrating on the feel of him. She loved his moaning, and he came quickly, his warm cum sliding down her throat. As he shuddered and finished, he pulled her to her feet and embraced her, and she wondered how she’d ever thought of him as nerdy.

I didn’t, really. I thought of him as too hot for a nerd, but computer geeks…is he even one? Her head reeling, she asked, “You were working undercover at FDL, Dante. You won’t be back, will you?”

“No.” He closed in on her, nibbling her neck. Between tiny bites that made her go icy hot, he said, “But I can do anything with a computer.”

Her heart sped up for many reasons. He was kissing her now, his tongue sweeping through her, his hands sliding to her ass, one hand slapping her, making her shudder. When they broke the kiss, he held her up, a good thing because she was ready to fall. “I’m quitting the agency,” he told her, “and I’ll open up my own business. If I risk my life anymore, I can’t be with you. And that’s not acceptable to me.”

Her eyes widened, and she felt her lips moving, but didn’t hear her voice at first. Finally, she could speak. “You’d quit for me?”

He stared at her, his long eyelashes masking his gorgeous eyes. “No, for us.”

She could feel his intensity and wondered if this wasn’t a dream.

“I’ve always thought of becoming a private investigator.”

“Isn’t that also risky?” She felt her heart contract.

“Not usually. I do have a need for some excitement.”

She let out a breath. “Are you asking my permission?” Her head still felt foggy. It had never really cleared.

“Not really…well, yes.” He eased into a smile.

“As long as you don’t take life-threatening cases.”

“I can be careful, I guess.”

“But why ask me?” She fluffed his drying hair.

He looked at her for a long time before he spoke, his words measured and careful. “I told you I loved you. The next natural step is to marry. It’s not like we haven’t spent time together. We know we’re compatible...on every level.” The last three words, he spoke in a low, seductive tone.

“Oh!” She wanted to throw her arms around him and love him all over, but her logical mind got in the way. “Do we really know one another? You were putting on an act.”

“About my job, yes. But I didn’t hide myself from you, except for the sexual part.” His muscles stiffened. She could feel them. “Look, we don’t have to marry yet. We can wait until you feel more comfortable, but we will marry. You’re mine, and nobody else is ever going to have you.”

Elation rocked her world, but she pretended to be uneasy. “Now, Dante, taking charge in the bedroom is one thing. You can’t force me to marry you.”

He stared at her, his brow burrowed, his eyes narrowed. Finally, he said, “If I have to, I’ll kidnap you and drag you to the altar.” He looked dead serious, but she thought she saw a twinkle in one of his eyes.

“That sounds sexy, but I do want to marry you.” There were tears in her eyes.

His face brightened, and he kissed her again, long, hard, and with feeling. When they finally broke apart, his gorgeous face was only inches from hers. “We’re going to my place so you can see it. We need to celebrate and have an engagement fuck.”

She nodded, her clamped nipples nodding with her head, sending flashes of heat to her clit. “Yes, sir,” she said.

  Chapter 21

Dante pulled Serena into his house foyer, turning his head to gauge her reaction to his house. She had already squealed with delight at the outside. It was all wood with a deck and winding staircase. Inside, he knew the décor needed a woman’s touch, but it smelled of fresh leather and was tastefully done in brown and gold. “Very nice,” she said, snuggling into him. “I love the hearth.
What smells so good?”

Cara walked out of another room, smiling, wiping her hands on an apron. “I made dinner. Dante told me to do it. He figured you’d say yes.”

Serena looked up at him, her eyes narrowed behind her lenses. “You knew, did you?”

He hadn’t really known, but had wanted to be prepared. “Yeah,” he said, squeezing her shoulder.

“I’ll leave now,” Cara said, taking off the apron and folding it over her arm. “I hope you like the way I set up your bedroom. Oh, Serena!” She threw the apron on a nearby chair then ran up to her, and they hugged. “I knew you were too great to be alone forever,” Cara said.

“Thank you,” Serena said back, and as Dante looked on, he smiled.

Before she left, Cara said, “Dinner is down and covered. All you’ll have to do is heat it up.”

“It smells great,” Dante commented, inhaling something Italian.

“Serena said you like spaghetti,” she said, “and I used her recipe for the sauce. She really cooks well, as you know.”

He grabbed Serena again and held her around the shoulders. “Yes, I know. And I can’t cook, as she well knows.”

Everyone laughed, and Cara left. Just as he was about to pull his lady love into a kiss, he felt something wrapping around his leg and then heard a purring sound. “Oh,” he said, bending over to pick up his large, black cat. “This is Logan. I hope your cat is friendly to other cats because they’ll be living together.” His stomach clutched at the idea of marrying Serena.

She had Logan in her arms, nuzzling him with her cheek. “Chelsie’s never been around other cats, but she’ll have to get used to him.”

Dante could barely breathe. She looked so homey, so right, cuddling Logan in her arms.

“What about your apartment?” Serena asked. “Was that just for cover?”

“Yes. This is home. My brother is an architect, and he designed it.”

Serena looked around. “It’s bigger than it looks from the outside. There’s a lot of room in here.”

“And I was all alone in this big house. If we hadn’t come together, I would have sold it and gone overseas on another assignment.” His cock began to twitch as he held her at arm’s length. “It’s time for you to see the bedroom.”

  “I’d like that.”

He kissed her as he started dragging her toward the stairs. He was in heaven and could not believe this had happened to him. He felt like the luckiest man in the world.

When he opened the door to his bedroom, he saw that Cara had done a good job. Serena gasped at the fragrant candles that cast shadows on the walls, the soft romantic music filtering through his speakers and the chilled champagne sitting on his desk. He escorted her into his room and sat her on the edge of his bed. Then he poured two glasses of champagne and gave her one. “To us,” he said. They clinked them together.

He watched Serena as she drank, her head tipped back a little, her dainty muscles working on her long, golden throat. His head swirling, he walked to his closet and pulled out a lacy red dress and thigh-high red stockings. “Undress and put this on,” he said, walking up to her, taking her empty glass, shoving them into her hands. His gaze burned into hers, and he liked the way her pretty mouth formed an O.

She took the dress and, in the wavering candlelight, stripped for him, batting her eyelashes as she lowered her eyes, taking everything off slowly. Dante felt his breathing speed up. Next she stepped into her textured stockings that came to her thighs and straightened, giving him a good look at her just in stockings with her breasts hard for him. She stroked her nipples. He didn’t know if he could wait for her to put on the dress. “Hurry,” he ordered.

She nodded then slid the tight dress over her head. The slinky dress left her breasts bare. He stepped up to her and kissed her breasts. “Turn for me,” he said, holding her hand, and she did. He stared at her bare ass because the dress didn’t cover that either. “Get back on the bed.”

She did, and he quickly stripped then fell on top of her, holding her arms over her head and her ankles pinned to the mattress. A feeling of wild, primal man swept over him. “Say you love me! Say it!”

“I love you.” She spoke softly, her eyes catching the candlelight. They were soft and full of tenderness.

“I love you, too. I’m going to look for your cousins for our wedding.”

  “How can you?”

“I have government contacts way high up. I can and will do it for you. I’ll do anything for you. Do you understand that?”

  She just stared at him.

“Do you?” He felt so intense, so madly in love.

“I do, and I’ll do anything for you, too.” She sniffed and turned her head.

Shit, he hadn’t meant to make her cry. “Did I scare you?”

She looked at him right away, her brows coming together. “Lordy, no. You never scare me, Dante. My own strong feelings scare me, but I’ll get used to them.”

He finally kissed her and felt the room tilting. After an eternity of fucking her mouth, he lowered his head to her neck and then to her bared breasts and nipples. He was so turned on he could barely stand it. His forehead buried into the lacy dress’s material while his face rolled back and forth against her plump tits. He licked her hard nubs, biting the ends of them. “D’you have the clamps?” he asked against her skin.

She moaned then said, in a breathless voice, “I d-didn’t want to risk losing such expensive things.”

He let out a breath. “Don’t worry about it.” It was just as well. He was in paradise, wrapped in her large, beautiful breasts. His hand slid to her exposed crotch and tickled her then his cock, hard and filled, played around her cunt. He played with her, moving it around her sex, while she laughed and begged for him to stick it inside, and then he finally entered her forcefully, and she grabbed him with her arms and her legs, her skirt riding all the way up. Like the wild woman she had become, she rocked up to meet him, their hips dancing in perfect rhythm.

Dante could almost taste his sweat. Pulling her as hard into him as he could, he rolled her on top of him. They were face-to-face, and he inhaled the sweet smell of champagne on her warm breath.

“Sit up and ride me,” he said, his body and his cock on fire. After the words had been ordered, he wondered if she knew how, but she sat up right away and started riding him hard and fast, and his brain stopped working. Hot waves of paradise flowed through his body, and his dick unloaded to her womb. He was shuddering and panting. She was shuddering and gasping. The bed shook, too. Finally, she melted down, into him, and he held her, rolling her to his side, shutting his eyes, wondering how the hell he had been so blessed to deserve Serena’s love.

Serena was breathless, boneless, mindless. She had a flash of the first day she’d seen Jason Wilcox and how cute she had found him but how hard she had always kept that at bay. And now, Dante belonged to her and would always belong to her. Or would he? She thought about how many people had let her down and, suddenly, had a stab of pain in her gut. “Dante?” she asked, as she cradled his head, stroking his hair.

He had his cheek on her shoulder, his eyes shut, and she knew he was exhausted. So much had happened today. He looked so contented, so vulnerable.

“Dante, how do I know you won’t leave me? Everybody always does.” She heard a catch in her throat and cleared it. She certainly didn’t want to sound needy, like a damsel in distress.

He opened his eyes and rose on his elbow, staring down at her. “I can’t reassure you about the future, sugar, but one of my best traits is my loyalty. I’ll never leave you.”

She saw the sincerity in his face and heard it in his voice and wanted to believe him. “Good,” she said, almost believing him.

He sat up. “I have something to give you,” he murmured, then he climbed off the bed, and she watched him walking to his desk, fire from the candles making him look surreal. He came back with a plastic bag from a jewelry store and plopped down on the edge of the bed. She quickly scooted over
to join him. Her heart had sped up, and she put her hand on his bare thigh, loving the masculine feel of him, his taut muscles.

He turned to her, and they were very close. “You’ll pick out your own engagement ring,” he said. “And we’ll pick out wedding rings together. But I bought these for us, never to take off.”

  She nodded, confused.

He pulled a flat, square box out of the bed and opened it and held up a solid gold collar. She could feel her adrenaline racing. “There’s writing on the back,” he said, handing it to her.

Hand shaking, she took it and held it in the candlelight. Her throat closed up a little as she read, You belong to me. Dante. She choked up, and tears sprung to her eyes. “I-I love it,” she said, looking up into his penetrating gaze.

Without words, he took it from her and fastened it around her neck in the back with a key. It felt cool yet erotic against her skin.

“It means I own you,” he said. “You need a key to take it off, and I’m hiding the key. Now take this and fasten it on me.” He handed her the second box.

Hand shaking, she opened the box to find an identical collar. On the back, it read Dante, you belong to me. Serena. She turned the key over in her palm. “So I own you, too,” she said, looking up at him again.

He nodded, and she climbed behind him on the mattress, fastening the beautiful solid gold collar around his neck, locking it with a click. Then she closed her hand around the key. Dante took her in his arms and pulled her on his lap, and she rested her head on his shoulder. Her sexy lace dress seemed to tickle her body as she inhaled his spicy male scent mixed with sweat. This was a step beyond a wedding ring, and it also turned her on. She knew she’d never take it off. Suddenly she believed that they would never part.

“I want you to meet my family as soon as possible,” he whispered in her ear. “It’s yours now, too.”
