The Heart of Andros

Adair lets out a gasp and pleads, “Jasper, touch me, please.”

Needing to see her eyes, I lean back and study those gorgeous blue orbs of hers. “Where, sweet? Where do you want me to touch you, to kiss you?” She’ll tell me what she wants, but I’ll keep control.

Adair reaches up and clasps my face between her hands. “Everywhere, Jasper. You already have my heart, now make my body yours too.” She crushes her lips to mine and I can’t hold back anymore. I’ve watched and heard her kiss and touch the others. Been there when Thad deliciously fucked her.

I pull my hands out from under her shirt and grip her wrists, pull them from my face, and push them above her head. “You have to tell me where to touch you. How to touch you. I want you to keep your hands above your head and don’t touch yourself or me. Do you understand?”

Adair flushes a delightful pink color from her desire and nods her head yes. Letting go of her hands, I slowly drag the shirt up across the sensitive skin of her stomach and then softly command her to take off the rest. She bares herself to me and I place her hands back into their submissive position. Humming in approval as she complies, I reach down and pull off her shorts and her panties together, thankful her pants didn’t have buttons or the zipper thing.

I tease with licks and nips across her nipples, her hips, the inside of her thighs. I can smell her need for me. I rise above her on my knees and spread her legs. Her core glistens with need and I lick my lips in anticipation to taste her, something I've wanted to do since we first found her and Toby. But I’d told her she was in charge of what I do.

“What do you want first, Adair? My mouth worshiping your mouth? Your breasts? Or do you want me to taste you?” Her blue eyes darken and her legs tighten and tremble against my thighs with my questions. I can tell how much it turns her on to tell me what to do, yet let me remain in charge. Our mutual desire intoxicates me. It’s something I’ve missed out on and never knew I’d want. Something I probably would’ve never realized that I need if I hadn’t met her.

“Jasper, I just want you. Your mouth and hands on me. Everywhere. But why don’t you start by caressing my breasts as you suck and nip at my nipples?”

I do as she commands and lean down, pull her right nipple into my mouth as my hand fondles her left breast, lightly pinching the nipple. Alternating between her breasts, I worship each one until they are reddened by my attention. Her breasts are the perfect size to fit into my mouth. Her hands grip and tug my hair, and I lift my head. “I thought I asked you to keep your hands above your head.”

Adair gives me a mock glare. “Jasper, I want you to kiss me. Then I want you to kiss and lick me.”

I chuckle and kiss her, tease her. “Where, Adair? Where should I kiss and lick you?”

She tugs my hair tighter, which pulls my head back, and smirks at me. “You know where Jasper. You watched as Thad made love to me with his mouth then kissed him to get a taste. You want to devour me as much as I want you to want to. I need those magical lips of yours all over me. Show to me how good they feel on my skin.”

My heated gaze rakes across her body. She is so beautiful lying there, waiting for me to please her. “As you wish, my sweet.” I begin to make love to her body with my mouth, capturing her lips in a passionate kiss before I move down to her wet and wanting core. Every place my mouth touches receives a kiss and suckle. I could continue for hours but feel her impatience. She reaches for my hair again, until I tell her no.

Grasping under her thighs, I lean down to her swollen lips and press my nose against her. She smells like she was made for me, her sweet scent designed to drive me wild. I gently stroke her with my tongue, tease her lips apart until I feel her nub. Sliding my hands up to grip her hips, I pull her into me. I will capture every single drop of her. Adair pulls her legs up and drapes them over my shoulders, and my mouth tightens against her.

She lets out a moan, then demands, “Faster, Jasper. Lick me faster. And don’t stop. I’m so close.” I lick her faster and alternate with a hard suck into my mouth.

My cock throbs for release but I hold back. I want to feel her from the inside, come inside her and not across the blanket. I let go of one hip, bring my hand down, and thrust two fingers into her without warning. Adair screams in pleasure as she finds release instantly.

I don’t hesitate. Dropping her legs, I thrust into her. Watching her face I’m mesmerized by the euphoria displayed on it. Her eyes are closed, her head thrown back, and she moans my name over and over. I’m so close to the edge it only takes the feel of her wet heat as it tightens around me and a couple of hard thrusts before I burst. I feel her orgasm again and she constricts around me further. Shite. I can’t hold myself up anymore and pull myself over to collapse down beside her, our legs tangled together.

My thumb lightly strokes her hip. I can’t speak yet. I don’t think I’ve ever found a more perfect feeling than being inside her as I watch her face when I give her pleasure. After several minutes, I find my voice. “Adair, sweet. We must do that again. Soon.”

She opens her eyes and turns her head to look at me. I can’t read the look on her face and then I realize what I said. “Shite. That’s not what I meant to say.”

Adair turns on her side, our legs still tangled, and whispers, “Jasper that was the best compliment you could’ve given me. And how do you know I wasn’t thinking it too?”

I am too stunned to say anything at first but then I roll her on top of me. “As you wish, sweet. Now let me tell you about the first time I ever saw you…”

I proceed to show her, again, how much I love her and that she’s mine. She falls asleep in my arms and I know that she’ll forever be my home. When Thad and Toby return to find us wrapped up with one another, no words are needed because the woman in my arms belongs to all of us and we will do anything to make her happy. For the first time in a long time, I sleep without nightmares.

I feel a warmth against me as I slowly return to consciousness. I lie on my back but I don't notice anything restraining me. My body feels sore and I have a slight headache, but my training allows me to keep still and continue to breathe evenly, which gives me time to figure out where I am. And who might be with me. I relax to open up my senses. First, I decide the warmth against me is a person. Next, I smell a sweet scent, similar to Adair. I can hear someone close by snoring.

I lie there for a minute and just listen. When I don’t hear any rustles or sense any movement, I crack my eyes open a fraction. Beside me is a head full of dark brown hair and I know immediately it’s Adair. I remain cautious but open my eyes a bit more and look around. A small fire crackles a few feet away from us, and I send my gaze scanning the rest of the area. From the looks of it, we appear to be in a cave.

“I know you are awake, Brax,” a familiar guttural voice states. I open my eyes fully to find where it came from and see Thad sitting on the other side of the fire. “We’ve worried about you.”

“Wh—” I try to speak, but my throat is dry.

Thad stands and brings me a bottle of water. “Easy, Brax. It’s been days since you were poisoned, and we don’t want you to get sick again.”

I nod and drink the water. It feels perfect on my parched throat. Although I shouldn't drink so quickly, I do so anyway. My need to know what’s happened overrides any ill effects I might endure. “Wh— What happened?” I manage to choke out.

“What do you remember?” he asks.

I take another gulp of water before I reply. “The party, Adair being angry at you after she found you with Vanessa. The longer you were gone the more angry she became.” I see him wince but continue. “I remember I tasted everything before Adair ate or drank it, as was the plan. When I wasn’t sure about something, I ate or drank the entire thing myself.

“After a while, I started to feel ill. It was that last drink Priscilla gave to her. It was bitter, and I knew when I sipped it something was wrong with it, b
ut Adair kept trying to get it back from me, so I drank it all down at once. It was the only way to stop her, you know how stubborn she can be. I was about to insist we leave when you and Toby found us. I don’t remember much after that. I was in and out of consciousness. The last thing I remember is Adair screaming and hearing a rumbling sound. I wasn’t sure if it was real or a dream.” I hate that I don’t know what happened.

Thad grunts. “That’s about it. Vanessa tried to poison Adair but poisoned you instead, and they kidnapped Jasper. What we figure is Priscilla had added too much poison and it would have killed her right away. But you weigh more and so the effect was less for you. Though it more severely affected you than I imagined it would. After we rescued Jasper, Toby and I carried him and you into the cave. Somehow the portal seemed to activate itself and luckily we were able to get through. When we arrived there was an antidote waiting. Toby gave it to you and we hoped for the best.” Thad has a pensive look on his face.

“What aren’t you telling me?” I ask briskly. I knew something would go wrong. I knew it as soon as I went through the fucking portal tracking Adair for the first time. Fuck. “Is it Adair?”

Thad quickly shakes his head no. “She’s fine. Look at her. She’s right next to you. Adair may be angry or hurt still, but she cares for you. Once Jasper woke up, she hasn’t left your side for three days and insists on sleeping next to you. But just because she’s done that I wouldn’t expect our girl to go easy once she knows you’re okay.” He finishes with a quiet snicker.

“So what the fuck is wrong then?” I stop myself from yelling at him. I don’t want to wake the others but I’m getting pissed.

“The problem is we don’t know if we are safe or what time period we are in. Toby and I have been scouting the immediate area for days and we know it’s Andros, especially with the cure waiting for you. Not to mention, we landed back in the cave after going through the portal. The problem is that it’s not my Andros, nor Adair or Toby’s Andros. We didn’t want to venture too far without all of us healthy and aware. We need to stick together to face any unknown dangers.”

I slowly sit up and regulate myself. I’m still slightly disoriented. “What have you noticed?” I demand, which has Thad raising an eyebrow at me.

“Nothing is here. There are no animal sounds or evidence of any. The creek is but a trickle and the color is darker, not the clear it was in my time. Adair and Toby agree that it’s wrong. There is evidence of people, so we know civilization is close, but so far we have avoided it. There is a strange symbol. Adair nor Toby recognize it.”

Oh fuck no. No. No. No. This can’t be happening.

“Color, Thad. What is the color?” My voice is hoarse.

“It’s red and black. Why?” Thad’s asks in a strained voice. He can tell that something is wrong by my reaction.

I stumble to my feet and wave him away when he tries to help. I hear the others stir and murmurs behind me but I tune everyone out. I walk outside of the cave and look for the sign I am dreading. It may be dark, but this symbol is everywhere. It’s a warning that this is government property and no person shall enter it without permission or prior clearance. It only takes me a moment to find it and I feel as if the breath has been knocked out me.

A hand on my back grabs my attention and I turn to see Adair look at me with both wariness and joy. How can I explain that we have landed on the doorstep of the reason I left.

“Brax, I’m so happy you’re awake. How do you feel?” she asks.

  “Motherfucker.”

She jerks back. “What? Brax, maybe you should lie back down.”

I shake my head. “No, Adair. I’m fine, or mostly fine. I know where we are.”

Toby and Jasper walk up to stand on either side of her, and Thad positions himself behind her. A united front. How ironic because that’s what we’re going to need to be.

“We are in…” I close my eyes for a moment and gulp with indecision. This is going to piss Adair off and I'll lose what little trust I've earned back. “… the year 2222.”

Adair’s face pales, Toby’s eyes widen, Jasper closes his eyes, and Thad’s face turns a deep shade of red.

“What the bloody hell do you mean, 2222?” Thad thunders.

“Braxton.” Adair’s voice stays steady and I almost don’t hear it over Thad’s shout.

I turn my attention from Thad, who I feel is the biggest potential for a physical threat, and face her head on. Her eyes hold an anger I’ve never seen before.

“Yes, beautiful.” The endearment slips out, but when she narrows her eyes at me I have a feeling whatever progress I’ve made has been lost.

“I have one question, Braxton, and don’t you dare lie to me.” When I nod, she asks, “How do you know what year it is?”

I swallow and decide to confess. “Because this is where I’m from. I’m an elite special forces soldier from 2222. I was sent to 2018 for a job.”

“How?” Toby inquires. Toby is always slow to react to any given situation and instead would rather seek the facts.

“I bet I know. It was the portal,” Jasper’s quiet voice answers.

“Yes, it was the portal.” I don't elaborate. I have to decide what to do. I have a plan forming. Us being in this period just fucked up what I spent months accomplishing.

“Braxton, what was the job?” Adair whispers.

I refuse to be a coward, so I look Adair in the eye when I tell her the truth. “You. You were the job Adair.”

Adair gives me the most disappointed look I’ve ever seen from her. Focused on her face, I never see the punch coming, but I feel it before I fall to the ground.
