He devoured my pussy, licking and sucking every inch until I writhed on the desk. Then he stiffened his tongue and plunged it into my core—in and out, quickly building me up and almost driving me over the edge. My body clenched, and my head flung back as he feasted on me. “I’m so close,” I panted.

“Come for me,” he commanded before dragging his tongue up to my clit and nibbling at it.

Fireworks exploded behind my eyes, and I flew apart. Zack licked me through my orgasm, not letting up until my shudders subsided. I was still dazed when he pulled away from me and stood. “Next time I get you like this, you’re going to drop those pretty panties for me,” he rasped as he cupped my core through the drenched material before helping me off the desk and smoothing the skirt of my dress back into place.

“That’s probably a good idea since I’m a mess,” I mumbled as I pressed my legs together, my cheeks heating when I realized I’d been wet enough for my inner thighs to be damp and sticky.

“A delicious mess,” Zack teased with a grin as he popped his fingers into his mouth and licked them clean.

I squeezed my eyes shut and shook my head. “I can’t believe you just said that.”

“Hey, now.” My eyes sprang back open when I felt the gentle touch of his fingers stroking my cheek. “I don’t ever want you to feel embarrassed by what happens between us. It’s too fucking special to feel even a moment of regret.”

“I’ll try my best,” I whispered as butterflies swirled in my belly at how sweet he was. “But I really do need to get cleaned up before I see other people.”

“You can use the bathroom, beautiful,” he offered, jerking his chin toward the door to my left.

“Thanks.” My voice rose at the end when he patted my butt as I walked past him. After I shut the door behind me, I hurried to the sink to splash my face with cold water. I felt awkward using his boss’s luxurious, private bathroom, but I hadn’t been joking about my need to clean up. I couldn’t imagine walking through the hotel and restaurant in my current state.

After using the toilet—and going through a ridiculous amount of toilet paper because I refused to use his boss’s thick black towels to clean up the mess Zack had made of me—I stared at my reflection in the mirror as I washed my hands in the sink. With my mussed hair, puffy lips, and rosy cheeks, I looked like a completely different person. “You’re a wild one, Vegas Amelia.”

“Hey, sweetie. I wasn’t expecting to see you here.”

My head swiveled toward the door at the sound of Zack’s deep voice...calling someone else “sweetie.” Whoever he was talking to spoke softer than he did, but it was definitely a woman since the tone was distinctly feminine. I shut off the water and tiptoed to the door to press my ear against it, but I missed her reply.

“You know I didn’t mean it like that. I’m always happy to see you.”

He sounded flustered—which made sense, considering he’d almost been caught giving me a mind-blowing orgasm on the top of his boss’s desk. And by a woman he probably had a romantic relationship with based on what I’d heard so far.

“I just wanted to let you know I won’t be home tonight. Stacy is going through a bad breakup and shouldn’t be alone. I’m going to stay with her tonight and help her drown her sorrows in ice cream and chick flicks.”

My head thumped against the door as the full meaning of what the woman said hit me. They lived together. I was a home-wrecker!

I wrapped my arms around Delia and gave her a bear hug, making her laugh. “Thanks for letting me know, sweetie.” I tried not to let a giant smile stretch across my face. I adored my daughter and cherished every moment she was still living at home. But...an empty house gave me the perfect opportunity. “Send me a text when you get there so I know you’re safe.”

“Of course,” she readily agreed. When it came to her safety, she’d learned long ago to give in or end up grounded for life. She studied me for a moment, then asked, “Are you alright? You look a little…” She trailed off and shrugged.

“Just happy to see you,” I deflected, hoping she wouldn’t dig further.

For a few seconds, she looked as though she wasn’t going to let it go but then just shrugged again and rolled her eyes. “Okay. Love you.”

“Love you too, Delia.” I would have kissed the top of her head like I had since she was a baby, but considering where my mouth had just been, I just gave her another light squeeze before releasing her. She smiled brightly, blew me a kiss, and scampered out of the room.

The door shut behind her, and I sat on the edge of the desk, bringing my fingers to my nose and inhaling deeply. Damn. Amelia had tasted even better than I could have imagined. I—

  “Are you kidding me??”

Amelia’s shout and the slam of a door startled me, and I jumped off the desk, spinning around and looking everywhere for whatever was upsetting her. She was standing in front of the door to the bathroom with her hands on her hips, glaring daggers at me. It was obvious that she was incredibly incensed about something, so I tried not to be distracted by the way her tits were bouncing with her sharp, angry breaths. Those were the next delicious treats I intended to have my mouth on.

  “Zack!”

Fuck. I dragged my gaze up to meet her furious one. “What’s wrong, beautiful?” I started around the desk but stopped when she backed up so fast she hit the bathroom door with a thunk.

“Stay right there and don’t ‘beautiful’ me, you—you—two-timing jerk!”

My brows shot up to my hairline. “Pardon?”

“I can’t believe you just...just..um...did that to me when you’re living with a woman! Ugh! You made me a home-wrecker!”

I tried not to laugh. I knew it was the wrong reaction. But I wasn’t able to stop myself, though I did manage to contain it to a chuckle. Still, if looks could kill, that moment of amusement would have had me six feet under. “You overheard my conversation with Delia?” I guessed.

“Yes! So what was this little fling? Are you having a mid-life crisis and wanted to be with a younger woman to make you feel alive?”

“No,” I argued. “I didn’t want to be with you because you’re younger than Delia. She’s only seventeen.” Amelia gasped, her face a mask of horror, and I immediately realized how she’d taken my explanation. “Okay, that didn’t come out right.” Amelia’s eyes narrowed, and when I took a single step forward, she plastered herself even harder to the door. As though she thought it might swallow her up. “Delia is my daughter, beautiful.” I pointed at the electronic frame on the desk that was currently showing a picture of me holding Delia on my shoulders when she was about six. Then it dissolved into another shot, this time of Delia and me right before she left for her junior prom.

“D-daughter?” Amelia sputtered. Her mouth formed a cute little O, and her brown eyes widened and blinked owlishly.

  “Daughter,” I confirmed.

She gasped, “You’re married with a seventeen-year-old daughter?”

I mentally rolled my eyes at myself. I was handling this poorly. “Let me try this again.” I held up my left hand to show her my lack of ring and tan line. “Not married. Never been married.” I flipped my hand around to show her my palm when her mouth opened. “And before you go accusing me of not doing what’s right and marrying the mother of my child, please let me explain.” She snapped her mouth shut and nodded. The ire in her eyes was slowly being replaced with curiosity, and I breathed a silent sigh of relief.

“My brother and I are trust fund kids, and for a while there, I was basically the embodiment of the stereotype for the spoiled, good-looking rich-kid jock. At nineteen, I made a stupid decision, but it ended up resulting in the best part of my life. Delia’s mother had no interest in keeping the baby, but from the moment I knew about her, I loved her.” Amelia’s expression softened, and she even gave me a small smile. “I begged her to go through with the pregnancy and let me raise my daughter. I threw enough money at her that she
eventually agreed. By my twentieth birthday, I was a single father and had turned my life around so that I could give her the steady life she deserved. She was my whole world.” I watched Amelia with intense seriousness when I spoke again, “Until recently.”

I turned my large leather chair and lowered myself into it before holding my hand out to Amelia with a tender smile. She blushed prettily, and her eyes lit with a spark of hope as she accepted my gesture. I gently tugged her closer, then wrapped an arm around her waist and brought her down to sit on my lap with her legs dangling off the side of mine. “I’ve raised my little girl all on my own, and never once did I feel as though I was missing anything. Then a beautiful mystery woman kissed me senseless”—I smirked when her cheeks flushed even more, and she giggled at my use of her word—“and my perspective on my life changed.”

“You don’t even know me,” she whispered.

“I know enough,” I answered honestly. Not that I intended to share just how deep I’d dug into her life. “And we both know there’s something between us.” I speared her with a dark warning glance. “Don’t deny it.”

She shook her head. “I won’t.”

“Good,” I murmured as I lowered my lips to hers. “Here’s a reminder, just in case you’re second-guessing that decision.” The kindling between us went up in flames as our tongues rubbed and tasted each other. We were both breathing hard when we finally separated.

Amelia sighed and laid her head on my chest. She drew her fingers along the smooth, shiny wood top of my desk and aimlessly played with a silver pen I’d left lying on a stack of papers. Her hand suddenly stilled, and I glanced down to see why. The engraving of my name on the pen had caught the light, and I mentally groaned. She abruptly sat up and dropped the pen, only to grab the picture frame and stare at it as a few more photos floated across the screen. Then she leaned over to look at the papers.

“You’re not the restaurant manager, are you?” she asked quietly.

Fuck. “No,” I admitted reluctantly. “I’m her boss.”

“You’re everyone’s boss, aren’t you?” she accused as she twisted to glare at me.

“I think my brother would disagree vehemently,” I returned with a chuckle. “However, yes. Everyone else here works for me. I own The Artemis.”

Amelia’s jaw had slowly dropped, and she stared at me in shock. “Why did you let me think you were just a manager?”

I shrugged. “I didn’t intend to. Once I realized that’s what you thought, I was going to correct you, but…” I slid my hand from her knee up to rest on her inner thigh. “I was distracted.”

Amelia’s cheeks bloomed, and on her tan skin, the pink was a rosy hue that matched her pretty lips and her delicious pussy. I wanted to spread her out on the desk and get another taste. Or bend her over it and plunge my fat cock into her slick channel from behind. Remembering how wet she’d been for me caused my dick to swell from the semi I’d been sporting to a steel rod. I had no doubt that I’d soon slide into her tight heat, and the thought of her snug pussy wrapped around my bare cock had pre-come leaking from my tip.

She must have seen the hunger in my eyes because her breathing picked up, and she shifted restlessly, rubbing her sweet little ass over my rock-hard cock. I grabbed her hips and stilled her movements. “Beautiful, if you want to make it back to the party, you need to stop wiggling like that,” I grunted.

I wanted our first time to be special and in our bed. Not a quick fuck in my office. Before we could get to that, I needed to make sure she was okay with everything I’d told her. Not that I would give up if she was. I’d simply try even harder to convince her that we were made for each other.

Taking the frame from Amelia’s hands, I set it back on the desk, then adjusted her position so she was straddling me on the chair. I cupped her hands and stared at her as I asked, “Does knowing I have a teenage daughter change how you feel about us?”

  Amelia

I was having a difficult time wrapping my brain around everything I’d just learned. It felt as though I’d just gotten off one heck of a roller coaster with my emotions reaching high and low. And sitting on Zack’s lap with his hard-on right beneath my butt wasn’t helping my ability to think clearly.

A few important things stood out, though. I wasn’t a home-wrecker. Zack was a millionaire. And he had a seventeen-year-old daughter. I decided to tackle the last part first since he didn’t seem to realize I was more freaked out by how much money he had.

“Knowing you have a teenage daughter doesn’t bother me.” I flashed him a reassuring smile, but it faded quickly when something occurred to me. “Unless you don’t want more kids? Something like that would force me to think long and hard about getting into a relationship with you. I definitely want children. Lots of them.”

My hand flew up to cover my mouth when I realized what I’d just blurted. Although I’d let him give me an orgasm minutes ago, I’d known Zack for less than twenty-four hours. Unlike any other man in the world, he didn’t seem put off by me bringing up babies so quickly. Oddly enough, he didn’t look even the tiniest bit freaked out. Instead, his lips kicked up at the edges in a smile of pure male satisfaction. “If anyone had asked me that question yesterday morning, my answer would’ve been a resounding no.”

After sliding my hand to the side and wrapping my fingers around Zack’s wrist, I asked, “And today?”

He leaned close to brush his lips over mine before answering. “Now that I’ve met you, I could see myself with a house full of little ones—lots of girls with curly black hair and pretty brown eyes.”

“Just because you already have a daughter doesn’t mean you will have all girls. Maybe they’ll all be boys with dark hair and eyes instead.” I fidgeted on his lap, gasping softly when I felt his hard length press against my core.

His hands dropped to my hips as a groan rumbled up his chest. “Careful, beautiful. If you keep moving around, my next baby very well could be conceived right here in my office.”

“Oh, sorry.” I jumped off his lap, nearly tripping over my feet.

He rose from the chair, reaching out to steady me. “Never apologize for turning me on. If you try, you’ll just end up saying you’re sorry twenty-four seven.”

“I...don’t even know what to say to that.” I shook my head and laughed softly.

He shrugged his broad shoulders and winked at me. “I’m not worried. You’ll have plenty of time to get used to how much I want you.”

His declaration didn’t make me feel better. It actually had the opposite effect since I was reminded about how little time I’d have with Zack. I’d come to Vegas for a long weekend to celebrate Marie’s bachelorette party, and we were due to leave on a red-eye flight in about forty-eight hours. Starting something up with him when we had such little time together wasn’t a smart move. It was bound to end in heartbreak for me, regardless of how he was talking about me having his babies. “I’m sorry. I need to get back to the party and check on Maria. I’m her maid of honor. I can’t just bail on her bachelorette party.”

“It’s not as though she can blame you for being gone when I carried you out of there,” he pointed out with a cocky grin. “And I don’t think she’s going to be too pissed at you, not with how she cheered me on.”

I narrowed my eyes at him, crossing my arms in front of my chest in an attempt to protect myself from reacting to his overwhelming sexiness. “Probably not, but I still need to go back.”

His dark eyes scanned my face, and he must’ve found whatever he was looking for because he nodded. “I’ll walk you down. It’s probably best that I check in with my staff anyway. I need to make sure they’re not spending more time gossiping about us than taking care of our customers.”

My cheeks heated as he took my arm and led me to the elevator, but my embarrassment didn’t last long. Zack gave me something else to focus on when the elevator doors slid closed behind us. He pressed me against the back wall, bending his head to capture my
mouth in a deep kiss. By the time the doors opened again, and we walked down a hallway and through the restaurant’s kitchen, I wasn’t thinking about anything except Zack’s kisses.

He brushed his lips over mine one last time at the door to the private room where my cousin and her friends were partying. Then he patted my ass and said, “Have fun with your girls, beautiful. Come find me when you’re done.”

I watched him walk away, enjoying the flex of his butt cheeks in his expertly tailored suit pants. The man had a world-class ass, and I glared at a couple of women in the restaurant who stared at it as he passed their tables. When he was out of sight, I turned and found my cousin staring at me with wide eyes. “Damn, that was fast! I wasn’t expecting to see you again until tomorrow morning.”

“I-you…” I sputtered, dropping my head to look at the floor. “Shut up and get me a drink, Maria.”

She tugged on my arm to lead me over to the bar. “Two lemon drop shots, please.”

The bartender nodded and reached for a bottle of vodka, the lemon wedges, and the sugar. Maria leaned her hip against the bar and quirked a brow at me as he dumped some ice into a shaker and poured a generous amount of vodka on top. I tried my best to ignore her look, but my cousin wasn’t having it. “You can try as hard as you want to look innocent, but it isn’t going to work. Not when your lips are swollen and you’ve got a glow to your cheeks and eyes that I’ve never seen on you before.”

I glanced at the bartender, but he was focused on pouring the chilled vodka concoction into two shot glasses. Even though he wasn’t paying attention to our conversation, I lowered my voice to the barest of whispers as I admitted, “I guess it makes sense that I’m not able to pull it off since I’m not quite as innocent as I used to be.”

“Holy hell!” she shrieked. The room fell silent as everyone turned to look at us as she added, “Did you let him pop your cherry?”
