“It seems to like you,” Caspian says, coming over, his eyes on the blue light.

“It turned white before we appeared here. I have never seen it do that before.”

“That’s when I woke up from the dream,” I tell the guys. “In my dream, when Sirrus was grabbing her, I woke up and the room was covered in white light and they were there.”

“It obviously wasn’t a dream if it was happening. You must have been seeing it happen and as you are this greater power now, the orb must have connected to your magic and light; it turned white because you were bringing them here. You were getting them from harm’s way,” Slate says.

“How do you know that?” Amber asks him. Slate shrugs.

“He doesn’t.” Rush takes a seat at the island. “He is just assuming that’s what happened. With our girl here, all we have is guesswork. But to me, I think Slate is right. Petal, you brought them here, by her using her gift and you having yours, that orb teleported them here.”

“Guesswork,” Slate gives him a look.

I look at the orb one more time before I give it a little push back to Amber. “I’m just happy that you two are safe. But you both will need to stay here; I am sure they aren’t going to give up trying to find you.”

“What about my parents? I need to see them,” Serene says with tears in her eyes.

“I need to see mine. What if they go after them to try and get to us?” Amber says frantically.

“They can stay here as well until I know it’s safe.”

“You’re going to call them?” Amber asks me. I give her a big smile.

“She likes showing off,” Zeke laughs.

“Close your eyes and think of your parents,” I tell them, and when their eyes are closed, I raise my hand. A light shines around me; I slowly lower my hand, and then I see their parents standing there, looking at their surroundings in confusion.

“Serene?” A beautiful woman who looks just like Serene exclaims. Serene opens her eyes and runs into her parent’s arms, tears falling down her face. Her dad has light brown hair and warm blue eyes.

“Mom, Dad.” Amber runs to her parents. I see she gets her looks from her dad; he has pale skin and red hair, but her green eyes come from her mother.

“Where are we?” Amber’s dad asks.

“Hi, I am Ivory.” I walk toward them all. “Your daughters were chased by very bad people. I am going to find out what they want and put a stop to it, but in the meantime, you will all have to stay here.”

“You are her, aren’t you?” Serene’s mother asks me. “You are the greater power everyone has been talking about. You saved our daughter,” she cries, holding onto Serene like she could disappear any minute.

“It was Amber who was looking after her; I was just lucky enough to bring them here. But I am the head of the council now. I am going to make sure this world is safe for all kinds.” Well, that’s my plan anyway.

“You looked after my daughter?” Serene’s dad walks over to Amber and pulls her into a hug. “Thank you so much.”

  “I didn’t… I mean…” Amber mumbles her words.

“She did,” Serene interrupts her. “If it wasn’t for her, I would still be hiding in that closet.” Amber gives her a warm smile.

“Come on, let me take you downstairs and get some keys for your new rooms. This place is shielded so you are safe.” We all jump in the elevator. Since this hotel was made magically from the inside, the elevator somehow changes, expanding so we all can fit in with no problem.

“I think I’m going to like this place,” Serene says. “It’s like Hogwarts.” With that, I laugh and so does Serene and Amber’s parents.

“Are you all shapeshifters?” I ask Serene’s parents.

“We are. Serene here loves wolves so she always turns into one,” Serene’s dad answers.

“Well, you are such a beautiful wolf.” I give Serene a wink. “Amber, what about you and your parents?”

“Amber is the one with the gift. Unfortunately, we are boring and can’t do anything magical,” Amber’s mom says before hugging her daughter.

“I guess I can be a tracker. I form this orb, little blue, which you saw before. I ask where I need to go, and it will guide me there. It does so much; it’s like my friend and we are connected.”

“It is connected to you; with you being here, you will be able to learn what else you will be able to do. I am sure there is much more to your gift than you realize. I thought I was just a shield, and it turns out I was more. I am sure you are more than a tracker.”

  “You think?”

“I do. Those bad people wouldn’t be after you unless you have something so special that they want.” I pause. “You said you can track?”

“Yeah…” Amber wonders where I’m going through with this.

“Maybe we can see where Sirrus is now. If we get a map, you use your orb to pinpoint. Maybe I could bring him and get some answers.”

“I don’t want that man anywhere near my baby,” Amber’s dad says straight away.

“I told you this is a safe place; no harm will come to your daughter. But as long as he is out there, he is going to be after others, more children, and we need to know who he is working for and put a stop to it.” I plead with them all. “It’s for a safer world. You don’t want to be always looking over your shoulder, wondering if someone will one day show up and take your child.”

Her dad sighs and nods. “I know you’re right. She’s my only child, my baby.”

“I promise nothing will happen to her.”

“Dad, let me do this. It’s about time I use my gift for something else than a night light.”

“You used little blue as a night light?” Serene asks her.

“I used to, I mean, when I was a little kid like you.” Amber clears her throat and straightens up.

We get to the reception, and I sort out their rooms first. I make sure they get family suites, so they can be together. Serene and her family head to their room, and Amber and I grab a map, and we lay it on the reception desk. I watch in fascination as the little blue orb appears. It looks like it’s giving Amber a hug or a kiss on her cheek.

I can feel that tingly vibration from it; it comes over to me and dances around my head before it goes back to Amber.

“Little blue, show us where that bad man Sirrus is on the map.” The orb then suddenly shrinks down and lands on the map. It slowly starts to move like a GPS; we watch until it stops. I look down, looking at the address.

“That’s Kayleigh’s address. He went back to her place, probably seeing if she has come back.” I step back. Remembering her place from my vision.

  “Who is Kayleigh?” Amber asks.

“She’s a girl who was chased yesterday by similar men. Luckily, we brought her back here in time, but we also brought the guy who was after her. His mind is shielded, and he won’t talk. He’s in our cell rooms.

“There could be more men out there after people like me.” Amber looks down at the map.

“But we are going to do our best and save as many as we can. You and your parents go to your room; I’m going to head to the basement and bring in Sirrus. Let’s see if he is more forthcoming.” I start to head towards the basement doors.

  “Be careful,” Amber calls.

I give her a nod and start walking down the stairs with the guys right behind me. I stand in the middle of the room, using my mind to drag a chair between us. The guys and I forming a circle.

“You ready?” I ask them, and they all nod.

I close my eyes, focusing on Kayleigh’s place. I see Sirrus looking through drawers, probably trying to find a clue to where she could have gone, especially as they can’t get in touch with their goon.

In a flash, I open my eyes, and Sirrus is sitting on the chair, his eyes wide with confusion. “Where the hell am I?” He looks at each of us.

“Sorry, I’m afraid hell isn’t ready for you just yet.” I wave my hand, bringing a chair toward me, and I turn it
around taking a seat, placing my arms on the backrest.

“Who are you?” he asks me.

“The real question is, why are you after magical beings, people with gifts? Who are you working for?”

He leans back in his seat and crosses his arms like he hasn’t got a care in the world. “I don’t know what you are talking about.” He smirks.

“Oh, really well a little birdie has told me otherwise. Besides are you missing a friend, a work buddy, someone who may have disappeared in the last…what?” I look at my wrist, pretending to look at my imaginary watch. “Twenty-four hours?”

“You have Bruno? Where the fuck is he? If you killed him, I swear I will kill your god damn family while you watch.” He tries to grab for me, but he’s stuck on the spot, and he soon realizes that too.

“How very graphic. I think it’s you who should worry about your dear ones. I am going to find every last one of you until I know the world is free from monsters like you.” I look at my nails. “As you can see, you are going nowhere; you are trapped. So why don’t you just give up a name?”

  “I’d rather eat shit.”

“That can be arranged, but let’s see if your mind is like Bruno’s.” I stand up and cup his head with my hands. Just like his demon friend, his mind is shielded. “Interesting. Your boss has done good work.” I sit back down. “So how is the dark power? Is he like a supermodel? Or is he very, very old, hence why you lot have to do his dirty work?” I watch carefully but he doesn’t give anything away apart from his Adam's apple bobbing. It was subtle, but I saw it.

“You don’t know what you are talking about.”

“I think I do. This dark power is up to something. I guess the only thing that gets rid of darkness is light. It’s a good thing I have plenty of that.” With a wave of my hand, I put him in one of the cell rooms.

“Has anyone ever told you that you are so hot when you go all serious mode?” Rush stands, taking my hand and pulling me so I am pressed against his body. “You have no idea how much you turn me on.” I kind of have an idea as I can feel his erection press against me.

“If anyone is having her today, it’s me.” Zeke pulls me into him, his hands gliding down my body until they reach my ass, and he gives it a squeeze.

“I’m in the mood for a Jacuzzi, want to join me?” I whisper to him.

“Sounds good to me.” He leans in and presses a gentle kiss to my lips.

“Meet me in our Jacuzzi. I will be up shortly; I just want to check in with everyone and then I will be all yours,” I promise him.

“Don’t be too long though.” He takes hold of my hand, and we walk up the stairs to the elevator. I get off on the second floor, making my way to Serene’s room first.

Knocking on the door, I wait until they answer. When Serene’s mom answers, she invites me in, and I fill them in that Sirrus was useless, but he’s locked up with no way of getting out. I go to Amber’s room next and say the same.

Heading up to the next floor, I walk to Kayleigh’s room, and she answers straight away, and I sit her down, saying about my vision and two more girls joining the hotel. I see sadness in her eyes when I mention that they are with their parents.

“You know I’m still learning all this magic stuff. Maybe you and I can be magic buddies. See what things we can and can’t do, together. Be nice to hang with a girl since my best friend is away, and there’s only so much testosterone I can handle,” I laugh.

“Really?” She beams. “I would love that.”

I talk to Kayleigh for ten more minutes before I go back up to my room and to the Jacuzzi. Zeke is in waiting for me, giving me a seductive smile. Standing in the water, he extends his hand for me to take, but my eyes are glued to his body. Seeing his eight-pack toned body, all I want to do is lick him all over.

“If you don’t get in here soon, I am going to drag you in, even if you’re fully clothed.” His voice is a little husky.

I strip out of my clothes and slowly enter the steamy hot water. Zeke pulls me to him and his lips land on mine, kissing me hungrily. We are all hands and mouths. His hands roam all over my body, wanting to feel every last inch of me.

When I feel his dick press against my entrance, I open my legs a little wider, my body waiting for that first thrust. My hands are on his arms, ready for the first thrust, when the door bangs open, causing me to scream and Zeke to pull back.

“Holy shit, that’s more than I wanted to see.” I look at Emz, who is standing there with a suitcase and bag, her hand covering her eyes. “Do you ever not have sex? I swear your vagina probably needs a good rest.” She removes her hand, smirking at me.

“You really do have good timing,” I sigh. I look at Zeke, and he doesn’t look impressed.

“I know how to make an entrance. Now get dressed and come talk to me. Sorry, Zeke, I’m afraid your wing-wong will have to wait.” She blows him a kiss and practically skips out of the room.

“I used to like that girl,” Zeke grunts before stepping out, his dick as hard as a rock. I lick my lips. “You need to hurry and get out there before I lock that fucking door and fuck you against it. I don’t care if she hears us.”

A part of me wants him to do exactly that, but I know Emz would start knocking on the door, and she hasn’t witnessed my glowy orgasms yet.

I climb out, wrapping a towel around me and placing a fluffy nightcoat around me and head on out.

Yeah, she really does have bad timing.

  Dammit.

  Chapter 7

  Ivory

“I never thought I would say this, but I really am jealous of your sex life. You are fucking four vampires who happen to be in the hottest band at the moment, and there’s me who is having a cock-drought.” Emz pouts.

I shake my head and go over and sit next to her. “I thought you were on holiday; you said you wanted sun, sand, cocktails, and men,” I giggle.

“Yeah, that was the plan. But now that I know about all this supernatural shit, it seems it had followed me so to speak,” she sighs. “I was in a bar, and I heard a commotion. And, of course, my drunk ass had to go and investigate. When I did, I saw two men fighting, but it wasn’t until I saw their eyes that I knew something wasn’t right. Their eyes were…”

  “Red?” I interrupt her.

“Yeah, how did you know? Holy shit, are you psychic now?”

I roll my eyes. “I’ve had two visions, one yesterday and one today. Men with red eyes were after these three girls. Luckily, they are here and safe. One is a witch with angel wings.” Emz’s mouth hangs open but lets me finish. “One is a shapeshifter; she can turn into a wolf, and the other she thinks she’s something called a tracker; she can form these light orbs that help her.”

“Angel wings? Wolves? Orbs? Fuck, where were the good ole days where all we dealt with were vampires? But there’s something else…” She pauses and stands, going to her bag and unzipping it. When she comes back, she is holding a little box. I watch as she opens it and a little gold light flies out.

I swear it looks like Tinkerbell. It’s a fairy. I extend my hand, and she lands on my palm. I look closer, and it looks like she’s trying to talk but it just sounds like little bells.

  “Where did you find her?”

“She was trapped in this glass box. I saw her on the floor when the two men were fighting. I quickly took her, and I grabbed the first flight out.”

  “Why didn’t you call me?”

“I didn’t want to in case anyone was magically listening. Thought this was safer.” She looks at the fairy while she talks.

There is an actual fairy on my hand; I just wish I could understand her.

I stand, the fairy flying off my hand. I walk over to the desk, open a drawer, grab my sewing pouch, and look inside. I smile when I see a thimble. I grab a bottle of water from the fridge, fill the thimble, and leave it on the table. The fairy goes straight toward it and drinks it quickly. I fill it two more times before she looks satisfied. Opening a cookie, I crumple it up
and she sits, tucking in.

Sitting back on the couch, I rub my temples. “This is all getting too much. I am just processing vampires and me having more power than I know what to do with. Even though I have no idea how to use it properly. Now I have four supernatural beings that are being chased by red-eyed demons and evil vampires. We think they may be working for something that’s called the dark power.”

“That doesn’t sound good. You defeated Rick, I’m sure you can defeat whoever this thing is.”

Ivory. A voice in my head whispers. I look around the room and back at Emz.

“Yeah.” I shake my head. “It took Rick getting a poor child to shoot me for me to defeat him, and I don’t plan on dying again. Can’t the big bad wait until I can control my power; is that too much to ask for?” I whine.

“Obviously, yeah,” she chuckles. “So, this is your hotel?” She looks around the room. “I still can’t believe you created all this. That my best friend is this all-powerful being. What friend can say that about their bestie?” she laughs. “Can I stay in the penthouse with you lot? I feel safer with the source of all magic and four vampires. I am sure the other rooms aren’t as nice as this one.” She looks around the room.

“You do know this place is a haven? No one can hurt you here, but you can stay with us, but you will be in the room way across from mine.” I give her a look.

She shrieks and hugs me before pulling away. “That’s fine. I don’t fancy hearing your sex noises, but back to this safe haven thing. So if I hit you, what would happen? Would I be zapped? Magically pushed away like what you did to that bitch vampire, Courtney?”

  I shrug. “I don’t exactly know.”

“What do you mean you don’t know? You are saying this place is safe, but you haven’t even tried it out?” She stands and starts pacing. “What if you think it’s all protected but it’s not? What if someone comes in and kidnaps me, using me as leverage as I am your best friend in the whole wide world and all?” I swear she is such a drama queen. “You need to let me hit you, or you hit me. No, wait, let me hit you as you are the source; it might not work if you hit me.”
