Devin and the Playboy

The first thrust drove Stephan to the bed. Before he could lift his rear up to meet the next stroke, his partner pounded him again. He groaned into the pillow as his lover grunted with each maddening plunge. A hand shoved his head into the pillow as Stephan screamed. The delightful sound of their joining echoed off the walls. His lover’s cock pulsed inside his ass before it withdrew. Stephan sighed as he stretched out.

“I don’t think we’ll be able to meet like this as often with the bride hanging around.” Stephan pushed his lover’s hand away from his shoulder. “You’ve got all you’re going to get from me tonight. Just go. I’ve grown tired of our little games. This”—he gave a tug on his cock—“is off limits to you tonight.”

The door to the bungalow slammed shut and Stephan stumbled out of the bed. He hated to let his lover go so soon but he’d barely kept control as it was. Between the marriage and his uncertain future, Stephan didn’t want to enjoy the company of his lover for too long. Appearances were hard enough to keep up. Should the paparazzi find out about his sexual tastes, the rumors would ruin not only Jack Monterey but himself. Stephan wasn’t going to let that happen.

In the shower, he palmed his cock before letting it fall. He slammed the heels of his hands against the tiled wall. How long could he keep up this farce? Jack had done so much to elevate him from a mere clerk in the company. Stephan, in turn, had shown him loyalty beyond what was contractually required for his job. The strain of enjoying a man’s company and not being able to express that outside a darkened room wore on his conscience. One day, he feared, his world would tumble down.

Back in his room, Stephan collapsed on his bed and begged for sleep so that his worry would vanish into the dreaming world forever.

  Chapter Eight

Devin stretched beneath the sheets. Every muscle in her body ached from last night. Jack had been a demon possessed in his lovemaking. If she had any regrets about their arrangement, he’d quelled each and every one with every thrust of his cock. She rolled over and snuggled up against his back. He loved sleeping in, according to Stephan, and she was sorely tempted to wake him for a morning romp. Instead, she quietly slipped out of the covers. Last night would have to hold her over for now.

Opening the door to the bathroom, she glanced back at the sleeping form of Jack and smiled. She backed into the bathroom and shut the door slowly. Whipping around, she ran right into a stark-naked Stephan. She snatched the towel from the rack and covered up.

“What are you doing in here?” she squealed.

Stephan scrubbed his hair with a towel, making no effort to cover up. “Shared bathroom, remember? Didn’t Jack tell you to knock before entering?”

“No.” She turned her back to him, all too aware of the impressive package between his legs. Jack might have satisfied her beyond anything she expected, but it didn’t mean she didn’t still like to window shop. She peeked behind her to see Stephan taking his time with his drying routine. “Could you please cover up?”

  “Knock next time.”

She whirled about to give him a piece of her mind only to see him exit through the other door—still sporting his birthday suit. The man teased her on purpose. To prevent a return performance, she locked his side of the bathroom. The only man she wanted to disturb her shower was Jack. Hopefully with a mini repeat of the previous night. Stephen was obviously tempting her so that the contract would be broken. For being just an assistant, he sure was possessive about her husband.

The water flowed out of rain shower head above and steam fogged the doors. She glided the soap over her arms, enjoying the hot water. The soap nearly leaped out of her hands as the lights turned off in the bathroom. She stilled.

  “Jack?” she called out.

Cold air sweeping across her body was the only warning she got as hands wrapped around her body. Did he need the lights out every time? Her mouth opened to protest until he plucked the soap out of her hands and began to wash her most intimate areas. His erection was evident along her lower back. He lathered her breasts as he nibbled on her nape. The soap skittered somewhere in the shower and he turned her around. Cool tiles pressed against her back as he lifted her up. Her legs wrapped around him as his cock easily slid into her. Their skin slapped together as he pounded her ferociously. The head of his cock slammed in at the right angle and her breathing staggered.

“Oh, God,” she moaned over and over. “Fuck me.” She clung to his shoulders as she tumbled over the edge, yet Jack never relented his maddening pace. Orgasmic wave after orgasmic wave crashed with each thrust, leaving her breathless. With one final plunge, he came inside her. The entire length of her body trembled.

Gently, he lowered her to the floor, her legs too unsteady to hold her. With a light kiss on her forehead, Jack placed the soap back into her hand and left the shower. A few minutes later, the lights turned back on. She trembled as the water rained down on her. A giggle bubbled out of her. She had no doubt that Jack would make her a very happy woman. Conversation came easy with him and the final piece of the puzzle snapped into place. She finished her shower and hurried back to the room, disappointed when Jack was nowhere to be seen.

“This arrangement wasn’t the best of ideas.” Stephan lounged back on his chair on the terrace. A wide array of fresh sandwich meats and island fruits sat on a turntable. He picked at the grapes, popping one in his mouth.

“Was your guest not to your liking?” Stephan scraped a bit of butter on his bread, smirking.

“Don’t you dare bring that up and wipe that smug look off your face. It wasn’t as good as you think it was. I don’t see how I can continue to—”

  Stephan cleared his throat, nodding.

Jack turned to see Devin in a simple sundress. He jumped to his feet and pulled a chair out for her. By the way the fabric moved in the breeze, the lack of undergarments was clear as the blue sky to Stephan. After she pecked Jack on the cheek, the sly smile on her face told him she was well aware of her choice in clothing. Their jousting would lead to no good but Stephan always enjoyed a good game.

“Eat up. You must be famished.” Stephan grinned. He sighed dramatically, almost in a slight moan as he slowly sank another grape into his mouth. Jack’s cool gaze stopped him from furthering the subtle miming of the raucous in the honeymoon suite.

“I am famished, Stephan.” Devin turned the lazy Susan, plucked a grape from the bunch, and mimicked his grape fellatio. “How’s your hand?”

  “My hand?”

“Yes.” Devin sucked on a piece of papaya. “It must be awfully cramped considering the noise coming from your room.”

“You two are like children.” Jack frowned.

  “She started it,” Stephan scoffed.

“I did not.” Devin crossed her arms.

“Ah.” Stephan winked and stood up. She gaped at him, probably realizing the immature prank he’d pulled her into. “Jack is right, though. If you won’t be needing me, I think I’ll go for an afternoon swim.”

“Go on.” Jack waved him away.

  “Afternoon?” Devin said.

Stephan nodded. “Afternoon. I told you Jack likes to sleep in, remember?” He shrugged and backed away enough to be out of Jack’s sight line. He ground his hips against the corner and silently screamed before gifting Devin with the biggest grin. Her blush was priceless. It was proven to him when her guard was down and she was out of the element she’d shrouded herself in for most of her life. She displayed the virginal minx ripe for teasing. Thanks to Jack, he wouldn’t have to worry about letting his overactive drive ruin the career path of his choice. Being Mr. Monterey’s personal assistant had way too many perks for him to ever slip up completely. A cock in his hand would be enough to sate at the moment.

He ran to the water as he did before but decided that swimming would be a better use of his time than sunbathing. After his little stunt, Devin might be more apt to set his trunks on fire than to trade for them. He had no problem strutting around naked, but rules
were rules. It wouldn’t be prudent to be found in any state of nudity around the boss’s wife—no matter what circumstance created it.

“Don’t let him get to you, dear.” Jack patted her leg. “He’s been my assistant for quite some time and still hasn’t gotten used all of this.”

Devin blinked, barely hearing the words from her husband. Had Stephan just dry humped the foliage? Worst yet, the heat in her cheeks meant he’d gotten to her. Why did she allow him to affect her? Why did she want to get back at him so desperately? A sexual cat-and-mouse game might have been intriguing if it weren’t for the ring on her finger. With Stephan gone, Devin smiled at Jack.

“He’s not getting to me. I just think he needs to get laid.” She drank a little juice from her goblet and slid her hand up Jack’s thigh to his crotch. He grabbed her wrist immediately.

“Not that I don’t appreciate the effort, Devin.”

“Oh. Right. Sorry.” She clasped her hands on her lap. If she wanted to get frisky with him, pitch black was the only way. “May I ask why? It’s not that I mind or anything.”

“My reputation as a playboy, I’m afraid, is grossly exaggerated. I’m afraid I’m quite vanilla with the light on. Self-conscious to a fault.” He pushed his plate away.

“Nothing’s wrong with vanilla, Jack.” She touched his shoulder.

“Yes, well, I’d rather have you enjoy yourself thoroughly and there’s something magical about fumbling around in the dark, wouldn’t you say?”

“I’d say, Mr. Monterey, you did nothing to resemble fumbling last night or before lunch.” She shifted in her seat at the memory of him dominating her in the shower.

He kissed her on the hand. “I’ve arranged for my staff at the main house to give you a nice relaxing massage. I’m afraid I have unfinished business with Stephan.”

“Oh no, Jack. It’s okay.” She clutched at his arm. “He didn’t mean anything by it and I haven’t been the most civil of persons either.”

He laughed. “Oh, the banter? No, it’s not about that. Stephan’s quite possessive and sharing isn’t one of his strong suits.”

“He’s going to be even more displaced once an heir arrives.” Could she have gotten pregnant in the shower? She bit her lip. Children weren’t one of the things she’d ever thought about and unless she had a boy, she’d have to keep on going until one came along.

“I’m sure everything will be just fine.” He stood up and leaned in for a kiss. “Finish your juice, dear. My chef squeezed it by hand just for you.”

She raised the glass and downed it. “This, I could get used to.”

  Chapter Nine

Stephan wadded in the deeper part of the lagoon. Disappointment at not seeing Devin walking along the beach had long since faded. After two encounters of seeing each other in the buff, she might have decided to steer clear. He kicked his legs and propelled himself toward the dock, satisfied he would be undisturbed. No sooner did he climb the ladder, he sighted Jack shimmying off his trunks on the shoreline. His boss started the long journey out.

Not the first time he’d seen Jack naked by any means, he still had hoped his boss would keep the trunks on. Two men in a steam room talking business was one thing, but on a honeymoon? He prepared to dive back into the water and swim to shore when Jack motioned him to stay. Frustration rattled him but he sat down on one of the chairs.

Splashing signaled Jack’s arrival. He walked over to Stephan. Before, he would have admired his boss’s muscled physique and the size of his cock, but Jack was married. His fantasies would have to stay locked inside his imagination. At least with his tastes, he was never far from a good fuck and his contract did offer benefits. For five years, he’d worked directly with Jack and the company since he got out of college. Jack made that all happen.

“I think I made a mistake.” Jack sat on the edge of the opposite chair, still giving Stephan a magnificent view of his cock. The swim over did nothing to tame its boldness.

“Too late now, Mr. Monterey.” He clasped his hands behind his neck. He’d warned his boss that switching his stateside business with his sister’s European division was a good compromise. At least he could remain the uncatchable bachelor and have his fill of whatever bedmate he wished.

“Don’t give me that Mr. Monterey bullshit.” Jack grabbed a towel to dry off. “I realize you advised against this marriage, but what was I supposed to do?”

“Let Ina win, that’s what.” Stephan sat up and faced his boss. “She’s a viper, Jack. I tried everything for you to get her disgraced.” Before Ina had married and popped out a few kids, she’d had a closeted affair with him. A little timid in the sack at first, Stephan had gotten her from vanilla to kinky in a matter of six months. What delighted her most was for him to bend her over in her corner office. The glass windows made it an extra thrill when anyone could have caught them, including the city traffic helicopter. She broke it off one afternoon after he’d play out the last fantasy she had in her mind. One minute, he was face-planted in her pussy while she fired a subordinate over the phone, the next, she was coolly dismissing him with an invitation to her wedding. She affirmed his reasoning with sticking to men from there on out.

Jack had always known about the affair and promised Stephan a raise and a board position if he could tempt Ina one last time. She’d actually laughed at his advances. Word had gotten back to her that Stephan was bisexual and the last rendezvous before she married was to remind him of what he’d never have again. His last attempt almost cost him his career until Jack swooped in and picked him as his personal assistant.

“She tried to jack me off at lunch. I told you I wanted her trained on how to act. She’s pretty and smart but…”

“I’ll get on it right away, Mr. Monterey.” Stephan winked and slid his hand up his boss’s thigh.

Jack slapped him away. “I’m serious. I didn’t put anything in the contract about stuff like that. She needs to leave her past behind.”

“I’m just joking. Apparently, the fucking you got last night didn’t improve your mood either.” Stephan stood up.

“I had to put something in her drink just in case not pulling out caused a pregnancy.”

  “Did she drink the juice?”

“Yes, thank goodness. I’m not ready for kids yet.” He lay back, covering his lower half with a towel.

“Then I suggest you invest in condoms and stage them around the dark corners of the house for unexpected fucking.” Devin’s pampering in the main house would consist of medical care for severe cramps. Whether his boss liked it or not, having children would have to come sooner rather than later. Getting married was only half of the conditions in his father’s ultimatum. Jack wanted to keep what he’d built in the States and that meant providing an heir before Ina’s son turned eighteen.

“Make the arrangements to fly back two days from now.” Jack closed his eyes. “The meeting yesterday didn’t go well at all. We’ve got some heavy planning to do in the months ahead or this mess I’ve gotten myself into isn’t going to mean squat.”

“She’s going to expect a repeat performance tonight.”

“I told you it wouldn’t satisfy her. I really don’t want to think on it right now.” Jack opened one eye. “Will you require any entertainment tonight?”

“I’ll manage on my own, thank you. I’d rather jack off than take anything you offer at this time.” Before Jack could say another word, Stephan dove into the water and headed for shore. His employer hedging on the deal he’d insisted on making to a high-priced escort soured Stephan’s mood. The little tiffs he and Devin spat at each other were minor jabs compared to seeing her promise of a better lifestyle crushed. No matter what her former profession was, it didn’t mean she deserved to be tossed back to the wolves. He would protect her best he could against the rough road ahead.

  Chapter Ten

Devin clutched her stomach. One minute she was in the process of getting her bikini on, the next she’d collapsed to the floo
r. Out of all the times for her to start her period, this had to be the worst. Her calendar had Eve’s curse due in two weeks and her cycle never deviated. To top it off, she’d been chained to the toilet, nearly puking at the amount of flow for a while. One of the servants had phoned for the local doctor and he’d prescribed a painkiller, but she still had stabbing pains in her abdomen. Could she have gotten pregnant from Jack not pulling out in the shower? Never one to look up pregnancy signs on the Internet, she had no idea how soon symptoms would start. If Stephan hadn’t insisted she throw away her birth control pills, none of this would matter.

Someone knocked on the door to the bathroom. Stephan, of all people, unless Jack had gone into his assistant’s side of the bungalow.

“I’m in here.” She groaned and clutched her abdomen.

“Devin?” Stephan’s voice was muffled on the other side. “Are you all right?”

  “No.” She doubled over again.

“Is it okay if I come in?”

Sweat creased her brow and her lips couldn’t form anything past a moan. The medication wasn’t working one bit. Stephan walked in, still in his swimming trunks. She wanted Jack there to comfort her, but the sight of Stephan had her reaching out. Her body was reacting to something and the pain was more than she could bear alone. He rushed to her side.

“How long have you been like this?”

“I don’t know. Something didn’t agree with me.” She managed. A tear trickled down her face. “I’m afraid.”

“Come on, let’s get you to bed.” He wrapped his arm around her.

“No. I don’t want to bleed all over the sheets.” Despite her protest, Stephan lifted her off the toilet.

“You’re not bleeding. Nothing’s in the bowl but whatever you threw up.” He hugged her close, and she began to sob against his shoulder.
