To my husband: You aren’t just my husband, you’re my best friend and I love you more than words can say.

To my sister: I love you to the moon and back.

To my Neelix (my muse): Who’s the bestest cat? Is it you? Yes, I think it is. :-)

  About the Author

I started out writing as a way to deal with the grief of losing my family so unexpectedly. Writing was a great outlet for what I was going through at the time.

The parts of my stories that speak of grief are very important to me. I’ve read so many stories where the death of a loved one kinds of gets glossed over, and I felt like it was important to acknowledge that that kind of deep loss can have a profound effect on shaping us into the people we become as we learn to carry our grief.

I know how difficult and lonely grief can be. Griefshare.org is one of several amazing organizations that help people dealing with terrible loss. Please be kind to yourself and reach out to others if you are struggling. Don’t suffer in silence. You are not alone.

A little bit more about myself…

I first fell in love with Scifi Romance when I started reading Firefly fan fiction several years ago. I was so disappointed to have found such a great show, only to discover that it only had 1 season. Thank goodness there was a move. :-)

I hope you enjoyed this book. Thank you again for reading.
