  About the Author

  Stuart Davies has already been in print in Geographical magazine, as the bug man in Costa Rica – a memorable experience both for Stuart and for the insects he encountered.

  Well and truly bitten by the writing bug as a result, Stuart has now ventured into the world of crime with his first novel, Saxon. Crime detection has always been a passion of his, but as an interested observer rather than a participant, you understand. Before granting himself some time in order to pursue a literary career, Stuart worked for umpteen years in the publishing world, as Design Editor at Country Life, and most recently as Art Director at Geographical.

  Stuart now lives in France designing books, painting landscapes and working on the Saxon Chronicles, which will pit Paul Saxon and his colleagues against a number of villains.
