Dale shoved a piece of paper and his pen at her. “Write everything, sign it. You know the drill.”
She took the pen. “What are you going to do, Dale?”
His skin tightened at the use of his first name. “Look for vampires.”
He hoped at the end of this new lead he would find living, breathing humans he could arrest because believing in vampires meant believing Saba could do magic.
Saba glanced up, silver burning in the blue irises of her eyes. “Be careful, Dale. You can only kill what you believe in.”
