Sand Trap

  “Oh. What kind of secret?”

“Tell me something nobody else knows about you.” Crow wanted to know Shelton inside out and upside down.

  “I’m allergic to kiwi fruit.”

“I was hoping for something a bit more exciting,” Crow said, rolling his eyes.

Shelton blushed then stared out of the window, avoiding Crow’s gaze.

“I like the idea of you spanking me,” Shelton whispered.

“That’s much better.” Crow shifted in his seat, wishing he’d worn looser jeans. “I’ll do my best to make your fantasies come true.”

Shelton whimpered and it was the sweetest sound Crow had ever heard.

  * * * *

Crow stopped at a Mom and Pop diner in Ajo, where he and Shelton indulged in coffee and donuts, then they headed over to the Park office to get their back country camping and entry permits. Shelton wandered around the exhibition area while he waited, pointing out interesting facts about the wildlife they might see.

“There are several kinds of rattlers in the area. I don’t mind not seeing one of those. I don’t want to get bitten like Orlando.”

Crow stood close behind him. “No snake is gonna get his fangs in my man. I’m the only one with biting privileges where you’re concerned.”

Shelton leaned back against him, his ass nestling close to Crow’s crotch.

“You’ll protect me, I know it.” He wiggled his butt.

“Bad boy. Time to go before we get thrown out for indecent behavior,” Crow said, keeping his voice low. Shelton was definitely overdue that spanking.

Back in the truck, Crow took a few deep breaths and adjusted his pants to be less constrictive. He could sense Shelton smirking next to him but didn’t meet his eyes. Driving with a hard-on was bad enough, he didn’t want Shelton’s sweet giggles filling his head too. Crow left town then followed the Organ Pipe driving loop to the Arch Canyon pull-out. He parked off the road a ways—not that he had to worry about causing an obstruction, the area being completely deserted.

“Here we are. First stop.” Crow got out of the truck, grabbing a small pack he had filled with bottled water and the picnic lunch Orlando had made.

Shelton joined him. He stretched, revealing an enticing strip of skin below his T-shirt. Crow wanted to bend him over the hood of the truck then fuck him senseless. Instead, he tightened his bootlaces and admired the scenery.

“Hey, Crow, there’s a sign at the trailhead that says that you can’t get to the arch from this trail. Is that where we’re going?” Shelton seemed excited by the prospect. “’Cause we might be in the wrong spot to start walking.”

“Yeah, but don’t worry. I’ve hiked this trail before,” Crow said. “It gets to what seems like a dead end but then wraps around a rock. From there it gets real narrow, but it’s easy enough to follow. There are rock cairns marking the way. It’ll get us where we want to be.”

He set off at a decent pace, noting with satisfaction that Shelton kept up easily. The trail was rock-strewn but mostly clear, winding its way through the rough brush and cacti. Just over a mile in, they passed a sign warning of steep inclines and loose footing.

“You okay?” Crow offered Shelton a hand, helping him up a short but near-vertical slope.

“Sure. The effort’s worth it. These rock formations are amazing,” Shelton said, pausing to take a break. “I can just picture the volcanoes that formed them.” His smile lit up his face.

“Glad you came along?” Crow asked.

“Of course.” Shelton came over to him then planted a soft kiss on his lips. “Thank you for bringing me.”

Before Crow could react, Shelton gave him a coy smile and started walking again.

The trail had lots of small switchbacks and some steep sections where scrambling was required. It gave Crow an excuse to hold Shelton’s hand again as he hauled him up the trickiest sections, and to eye his ass when he took the lead. He couldn’t remember a time when hiking had been so pleasurable.

The path finally came out up above the rocky arch the canyon was named for. The arch was seven hundred feet long and thirty-six feet high. It was the perfect place to have lunch and look out at some really beautiful desert vistas. The awe and delight on Shelton’s face was even better to Crow’s eyes than the scenery. He picked a good spot for them to sit then unloaded their picnic. Shelton settled on a smooth rock, wiggling his rump to get comfortable. There was just enough room for Crow to perch next to him. He handed over a package of sandwiches then took another for himself.

“It’s so peaceful here,” Shelton said around bites of bread and baloney. “Wow, this is good. Walking makes me hungry.”

“Wait until we get to our camping spot. The silence and the night sky are staggering.” Crow ate his own sandwich. Somehow food always tasted better in the outdoors.

“I can’t wait. I’m glad we came here first though. I can’t remember the last time I hiked for pleasure.”

“Rogue doesn’t let you out much, huh?”

“Put it this way,” Shelton said. “I don’t have to worry about tan lines, and that’s not because I’ve been sunbathing nude.”

Crow almost choked on his mouthful. The thought of Shelton, spread out bare beneath the desert sun, sent his cock from happy to ecstatic in seconds. He spread his legs a bit wider and took a long swig of water.

“I’m still hungry,” Shelton declared, moving to stand in front of Crow.

“There’s some fruit in the bag… Uh, Shelton, what are you doing?” Crow’s mouth lost all moisture.

Shelton had dropped to his knees between Crow’s legs.

“I had something other than an apple in mind.” He reached for Crow’s fly.

  “Oh fuck.”

“Later. I hope.” Shelton gave him a cheeky grin. He lowered Crow’s zipper, releasing his aching cock. “You have a gorgeous dick.” He immediately wrapped his lips around it.

Crow grabbed a handful of Shelton’s hair, exerting control as far as he was able. He tugged gently. Shelton gazed at him from under his lashes, his eyes bright. He let Crow guide him.

“Fuck, you have a talented mouth.”

Crow pushed his cock into Shelton’s throat then held it there for a few seconds, cutting off Shelton’s air. Shelton didn’t struggle, he just held still, letting Crow control his ability to breathe. Crow didn’t want to scare him. He pulled back long before Shelton could get distressed. Shelton gave an annoyed grumble and drew him right back in, making Crow grin. Apparently Shelton didn’t want to be denied his treat. He hummed as he sucked, sending vibrations through Crow’s shaft. The muscles in Crow’s thighs trembled. He leaned back to balance himself against the rock, not caring that sharp edges dug into his shoulders. He couldn’t hold back much longer.

  “Shelton…”

Crow wanted to warn him, to let Shelton know it was time to pull away. Shelton just blinked up at him and kept going. He didn’t attempt to get clear even when Crow shot into his throat. Instead he licked away every drop of Crow’s seed.

“Wow. Yummy.” Shelton smacked his lips together. “Best picnic ever.” He scrambled to his feet. Crow opened his arms, inviting him closer. Shelton didn’t hesitate. He snuggled close, pressing his cheek to Crow’s chest. “I can hear your heart beating.”

“Well, if it’s pounding faster than it should be, that’s totally your fault.”

  Shelton giggled. “Sorry.”

“You don’t mean that.” Crow gave Shelton’s hair a little tug. “I think you’ve been taking brat lessons from Orlando.” He slid his hand down to feel the front of Shelton’s pants. He was hard beneath his clothes. “And for that, I’m going to make you wait. From now on, you only get to come when I say so.”

Shelton made the sweetest whimpering sound. It was a small test. Crow wanted to ease Shelton’s submissive nature to the fore without sending him running. If he obeyed, it was a good sign he was open to Crow’s domination. Crow placed a finger beneath Shelton’s chin then tilted h
is head up. He looked into his eyes, searching for any trace of fear or irritation. All he found was acceptance.

“We should head back to the truck and make our way to tonight’s campsite. I don’t want to be pitching the tent in the dark.”

  Shelton nodded. “Okay.”

He was quiet on the hike back to the truck, but whenever Crow caught his eye, Shelton smiled. He appeared content. Crow enjoyed the quiet. He’d never seen the need to fill the silence with unnecessary chatter and Shelton seemed to be like-minded. The more time they spent together, the more Crow felt like they fitted somehow. Their personalities meshed seamlessly.

It took them a while to get back to the truck because Shelton stopped to examine every lizard and bug he came across. When they startled a small owl from a burrow, he got even more excited, waxing lyrical about all the rare fauna and flora the desert landscape harbored.

Later, as they drove toward Cabeza Prieta, Shelton vibrated with excitement.

“I can’t believe how many different critters we’ve seen. I’ll bet there’s stuff out here that’s never been discovered. There are some endangered species in the area too. We might get to see a Sonoran pronghorn antelope, or a desert tortoise.”

All Crow wanted to see was Shelton, bare and spread for him, but his enthusiasm was adorable. Crow focused on the drive, trailing a rough Jeep track among granite spires on the west flank of the Cabeza Prieta mountains. After a few miles he turned to follow an old route east toward a pass close to Surprise Canyon. The sandy washes on the lower slopes were sheltered and a good place to camp. The possibility of flash flooding meant the canyon itself was not an option, as it could funnel storm water into a raging torrent, so he headed for a spot well clear of that danger.

He parked then unloaded the tent, which didn’t take long to erect. “It’s a Kodiak canvas tent,” he explained to Shelton. “Much better for stopping the dust getting in but still breathable.” He stripped off his shirt before driving the first of several twelve-inch, heavy-duty steel stakes into the ground with a mallet.

A strangled moan from Shelton made him pause and straighten.

“Are you okay?” Crow examined the area, checking for danger.

“No! I mean, yes. That is, I… Oh, Lord.”

Crow realized that it was his shirtless state causing Shelton some problems. He grinned. “You like watching me work up a sweat, do you?”

  Shelton nodded rapidly, eyes wide.

Crow carried on working, happy that his efforts were having such an effect. By the time he finally got to fuck the man, Shelton would be begging to come. “Perfect.”

“Huh?” Shelton gave him a quizzical look.

“The tent pegs,” Crow lied. “They may seem excessive, but if the winds build in the night, I’d rather my ass remained under cover.”

“I’d rather it was bare,” Shelton blurted out, blushing beet red.

“Someone really needs to get laid.” Crow smirked. “Let’s get the bedding sorted out in the tent. Then we can test it.”

“Oh wow!” Shelton scampered back to the truck.

Ten minutes later, the double airbed was pumped up and covered with a sheet. Crow had opted to bring a light comforter rather than sleeping bags. He wanted to be skin on skin with Shelton, not zipped up in separate padded sacks. He unlaced his boots then sat just inside the tent to pull them off. He shunted backward onto the bed and beckoned to Shelton.

“Get your cute ass in here.”

Shelton wasted no time getting rid of his footwear. He crawled into the tent to kneel in front of Crow.

“Lose your clothes.” Crow leaned back, resting on his elbows. He wanted a good view of Shelton as he stripped. This would be the first time he’d seen Shelton completely naked and he didn’t want to miss a moment.

Shelton pulled his shirt over his head then squirmed out of his pants. He was nicely toned, not overly muscular, with smooth, pale skin. His cock was hard, the head gleaming with pre-cum.

“I’ve been hard since our lunch stop,” Shelton said, giving his cock a sad glance. “That has to be some kind of record.”

“I’m flattered.” Crow parted his knees. “Kneel between my legs and stroke yourself.”

Shelton chewed on his lower lip. He shuffled into place then wrapped his hand around his dick, making a fist. “I’ll come,” he warned.

  “You won’t. I haven’t given you permission.”

“Please.” Shelton jacked himself a couple of times. “I can’t…I won’t be able to stop.”

“I should have brought a cock ring,” Crow said. “A nice leather strap around your balls would suit you.” He took pity on Shelton and tossed him the lube. “Get yourself ready.”

Shelton caught the bottle but froze. “A cock ring?”

“I ask you to prepare yourself for my cock and you fixate on that?” Crow smirked. “I think I’m uncovering your kinky streak.”

  “Sorry.” Shelton ducked his head. “I just… I mean, I’ve never…”

“I think there will be lots of firsts between us.”

Crow unzipped and released his cock. He didn’t touch it, just let Shelton get a good view while he gloved up. Shelton sucked in his breath and got busy with the lube. Crow watched his expression keenly, searching for any sign of anxiety. Shelton’s lips were slightly parted, his cheeks flushed. He made the cutest panting noises as he plunged his fingers into his channel.

“Enough. Ride me. Now.” Crow’s patience snapped.

He kicked off his pants. Shelton crawled over him. Crow grabbed his hips, ensuring he couldn’t escape, but didn’t force him down. Shelton wriggled into position, holding Crow’s cock gently in place while he sank onto it. He gasped when he was breached but didn’t stop. Crow kept as still as he could, letting Shelton set the pace. Once his dick was fully sheathed, he grasped Shelton’s cock.

“Fuck yourself on me.” The growl that followed came unbidden.

A fine sheen of perspiration glossed Shelton’s skin. Muscles rippled as he undulated his body. Crow couldn’t take his eyes off him. Shelton was his. No one else would ever get to see his man in the throes of passion.

  “Mine.”

If his possessive tone frightened Shelton, he gave no sign. He moaned and moved faster, rising and falling, impaling himself over and over. Crow jacked him, letting Shelton’s own movement dictate how much friction he received.

“Oh, God, please, Crow. I have to come.”

  “Do it. For me.”

Crow let his own orgasm flow over him. He managed to keep a firm hold of Shelton’s dick even though he screamed and splattered a shower of cum over Crow’s chest. With his head thrown back, damp tendrils of hair clinging to his forehead, Shelton looked thoroughly debauched. Crow knew he would remember the moment for a long time. It was the stuff wet dreams were made of.

  “Fuck, you’re beautiful.”

Shelton’s laugh in response had an edge of hysteria. “I think I’ve forgotten how to breathe.” He slumped forward to snuggle against Crow’s chest, apparently not bothered by the sticky squelch the move generated. “I may need mouth-to-mouth.”

Crow took the hint. He dragged Shelton further up his body then gave him a thorough kissing. By the time he was done, Shelton was gasping and starting to get hard again.

“Are you resuscitated?” Crow picked up Shelton’s floppy arm then dropped it. “Are you even alive?”

“Nuh-uh. Died and gone to Heaven.”

“Time for a nap.” Crow gave up on comfort and decided that having Shelton plastered across his body was a far better option.

He didn’t get any response. Shelton was already snuffling in his sleep.

  Chapter Three

Baby wipes and bottled water were not as refreshing as a shower, but in the middle of nowhere, they did an adequate job. Shelton scrubbed down as best he could and tried not to yawn. After another energetic round of fucking, where he had experienced three new positions for the first time, he was exhausted. He was in aw
e of Crow’s stamina. Not only had the man given him several orgasms of epic proportions, he’d unloaded their supplies, dug a makeshift latrine and was now cooking their dinner over a gas burner. He seemed ready for anything, whereas all Shelton was ready for was food and bed. This time without the acrobatics. His ass needed a break, along with the rest of him.

He stood and gazed at the view, letting the warm breeze dry his damp skin. He fancied he could see for miles across the stark desert vista. A stronger gust of wind ruffled his hair even though the sky was cloudless. The sun was beginning to descend. Shelton squinted into the light—he could see a dark line where sky met land and it seemed to be growing.

“Uh, Crow… Can you see that?”

Crow joined him, putting his arm around Shelton’s shoulders. “See what?”

“Out there. Look.” The dark line was definitely deepening.

“Ah shit!” Crow scowled. “Seems like we’ve gotten ourselves a dust storm.”

“Fuck me!” Shelton had no idea what to do.

“That might have to wait a few minutes while we batten down the hatches.”

“You mean we’re not going to make a run for it?” Shelton pulled on his shirt, not wanting to face the coming storm half naked.

“Nah. It’s more dangerous to be on the roads. The tent is well pegged and in a sheltered spot. We’ll be fine zipped up in there. Just help me get the tarp fastened on the truck. We need to cover the grill and vents to stop the dust and sand getting into the engine.”

They loaded all the loose equipment into the truck, though Crow gave their dinner a regretful glance as he switched off the burner and stowed it away. Shelton helped, keeping half an eye on the horizon. He tried to recall everything he knew about dust storms, which wasn’t that much. He certainly hadn’t experienced one up close and personal. Watching the dark wall of cloud approach was unsettling.

“Hey, we’ll be fine,” Crow reassured him. “The winds will maybe reach forty or fifty miles an hour. Visibility will be worse than crap, but we don’t have to worry about that. Outside the wind and sand act on skin like a scouring pad. It’s not good for your eyes but we’ll be safe inside the tent. It’s almost on us, so let’s get in there.”
