Then I was on her, crowding her space but not touching her.
I could see the war in her eyes. Part of her wanting to run out of fear, but a bigger part of her standing tall as if she wouldn’t let herself cower in front of me.
My chest expanded as I took in a deep breath. She was about a half a foot shorter than me, even in those sexy as fuck pumps. I liked the way her neck craned back so she could stare into my eyes.
However, it did nothing to douse the fire inside of me.
“He touch you?” I barked causing her to flinch ever so slightly.
Her mouth snapped shut and her lips went thin. That was enough of an answer for me.
“I get that you are a bunch of badass bitches that don’t need no man,” I started with a small shake of my head. “But that shit don’t fly. Next time that happens you don’t fucking send him over to me without warning. You don’t let me go into that shit blind.”
“I didn’t ask you to—”
“No, you didn’t. And that pisses me off. You send him my way, thinking that I’d finish the job without a damn care. Like I’d want something to do with a dick like that. I’m not, or would ever be okay with someone laying a hand on you. And I swear to God, woman, if you ever put me in that position again, there will be hell to pay. I will tear that ass up myself until you get it.”
Her mouth dropped open like she couldn’t believe that had just come out of my mouth.
I leaned down, my face right in hers, my eyes looking deep into those sparkling green ones of hers.
“Do you get me?” I asked lowly.
“You don’t own me,” she said but I could hear the shakiness in her voice.
“No, I don’t,” I agreed but left off the part where I damn well saw her as mine.
“I don’t owe you anything.”
“Don’t want you to owe me. Whatever you’re gonna give me, you are going to do it freely and because you want to.”
There was a split second where I saw the uncertainty in her eyes.
Then she was fighting another war entirely.
Her gaze dropped to my mouth as her little pink tongue darted out to lick her bottom lip.
I saw it coming.
And I should have stopped it.
This was not the time, no matter how fucking bad I wanted her.
Then her lips were on mine before I could get anything to come out of my mouth.
It was what I’d wanted, fuck, yeah. And even though I saw it coming, I was damn near shocked it was actually happening.
My fingers went into her hair and I kept her locked tight to me. I wasn’t giving her a chance to second guess this. No fucking way.
She moaned. So fucking sweetly.
With one yank, I pulled her away from me and looked down at her.
Her eyes were screaming things that I couldn’t ignore.
Before she could register what was going on, I had her turned around and bent over the table. The very one I’d first seen her bent over. That image had kept me going for many damn nights.
“Fuck,” I breathed out, my hand running down her curves only to end up palming her ass cheek. “This ass is perfect.”
She let out a whine-moan noise that caused my brain to go haywire.
Next thing I knew, her pants and panties were down around her knees and my dick was hanging out of my opened fly. My arm went around her waist, my fingers sliding through her folds as I pinned her down with my body. Her breaths were heavy and the more I toyed with her, the wetter she became.
“Oh,” she panted out a little shocked when I pushed one of my thick fingers into her tight pussy.
Rocking my hips, I worked my cock against her crease.
This was fucking heaven.
“Push your cheeks together,” I told her as I leaned back so I could watch.
She surprised the shit out of me by doing it.
Then I was fucking those cheeks while bringing her to the edge with my fingers. She was squirming and moaning and rocking against me.
Damn, that was something I’d been dreaming of. Those cheeks were perfect, wrapping around me all warm and plush. She had them held together so tight that I barely saw my dick.
I grunted and worked myself harder.
She was being quiet, but the way her juices dripped down my fingers, I knew she didn’t want me to stop. I imagined that with every thrust, she could feel the ball of my piercing drag across that tight puckered hole. By the way she was trying to keep my cock trapped tight, I’d bet it was doing something extra for her.
“Fuckin’ gonna come, woman,” I warned her.
“Please,” she begged like she wanted me to.
I slid another finger inside her, curling them to make sure she was enjoying this as well. Her hips worked with me, rocking back and forth like she could take my fingers in deeper. It didn’t take long before she was clenching tight around me and shaking.
Her body sagged against the table as I pulled my cum-soaked hand free from her still quivering pussy. My dick slipped from her cheeks and I wrapped my slicked-up hand around it and began working myself. The anchor tattoo on her cheek suddenly became my target. Oh, fuck yes.
“Fuck, Sweet Cheeks,” I grunted out as I came. My hand jerked back and forth at lightning speed like I couldn’t even stop it.
Then I shook the last little drop out before dragging the head of my cock through the beautiful mess I’d made all over her, spreading it around even more.
A sigh escaped my mouth and all the anger I’d felt before melted away.
Damn.
This wasn’t the way I wanted this to go down.
I quickly tucked my shit away and zipped up.
Then I not-so-gently pulled her up and turned her to face me. My head ducked down with the intention of kissing her again but the look in her eyes had me freezing in place.
I instantly released her and I took a big step.
“No,” I said with a hint of panic. “I wasn’t wrong, you wanted this.” My tone sounded strangely unsure.
That look in her eyes was something I’d never once seen aimed at me. And though it might have been something I wasn’t familiar with, I could read it well.
And what was going through her mind I was sure wasn’t right.
But I couldn’t deny that she was afraid right now. Afraid of me and what had happened. And it wasn’t simply a regret kind of fear.
“You wanted it, right?” I asked taking another step back and holding up my hands as if to say I’d never hurt her.
She still said nothing and I was starting to panic, replaying the whole thing in my mind.
I’d always been aggressive but I always knew if it was welcomed or not. And if not, I backed off real quick. I wasn’t that man. No fucking way.
But the way Harley was looking at me right now, I clearly was.
Where had I gone wrong?
What signs had I missed?
She had kissed me.
Yeah, but I realized that didn’t give me the go-ahead to do whatever the fuck I wanted. But she hadn’t tried to stop me or tell me no. She hadn’t tried to get away from me.
She had even helped me get her pants down.
Right?
Why was I having trouble remembering?
“Fuck,” I breathed out.
I turned around, not being able to take that look on her face and the near tears in her eyes.
“Call the cops,” I told her. “I’m gonna go over to my shop and wait. Send ‘em over after you give your statement.”
Then I pushed open the door that led outside and walked away.
I wasn’t going to run. If that look in her eyes was how she truly felt then I would own up to it.
I walked across the street and readied myself for what was to come. I could almost feel the cuffs closing around my wrists as I flopped down into my chair.
I thought about Harley. All the things she must be going through.
I thought about Abigail and Cami and Laurel.
> I thought about how much I’d fucked up and how I vowed to never be that kind of man.
I thought about my brothers and how I’d gone against the code.
I was about to lose everything and I fucking deserved it.
I just couldn’t figure out where I’d gone wrong.
Had I always been this monster and wasn’t aware of it?
I didn’t want to believe it but that look in her eyes said it all.
So I waited.
Waited for what was to come knowing I wouldn’t fight it.
CHAPTER TEN
Harley
“Harley!” Wade yelled as she banged on the other side of the door. “Harley, open the fucking door! Are you okay?! Is he still in there?”
I wiped at my eyes even though there weren’t any fallen tears. I couldn’t tell you what was going through my head but I could say I was stunned.
“Harley!” Wade called out again. “Get me a fucking axe, I’m breaking the door down.”
She wasn’t kidding. I knew she’d do it. She was a little crazy.
“I’m fine. Hold on,” I called out and bent down to pull my pants up. I didn’t even want to think about the fact that my ass was still covered in his spunk. Or that it had happened at all. Or the look on his face when he thought he’d done me wrong.
Fucking hell.
This was a mess, and I wasn’t just talking about my ass.
I moved the chair out of the way and nearly got smacked in the face as the door flew open. Wade was the first in, her eyes darting wildly around the room. Estelle pushed her aside and instantly saw the shape I was in.
I wasn’t crying, but it was close.
I hadn’t been that intimate with anyone in over two years, I hadn’t let anyone get that close.
And that was the thing that had the stunned look permanently stuck on my face, the fear dancing in my eyes.
Because I had wanted it, I did. I had even enjoyed it.
I went along with it so easily and that was the part that scared me. I should have feared him, especially after seeing him beat that guy like he had. And I couldn’t forget the way he charged across the street, eyes blazing and set on me.
Which, honestly, was really hot. It shouldn’t have been. The truth was, it made me feel like I was really fucked up because I thought that way.
He looked downright murderous.
And all I wanted to do was climb him like a tree.
I knew the moment I looked down at his lips that I was going in.
Yeah, in I fucking went.
Oh God, it was amazing!
Thinking of it now, I felt a little heated and dazed. The way he just… owned me. He took the opening and ran with it. But that wasn’t to say that he didn’t care too.
So, yeah, he confused the hell out of me.
Somehow, I still craved more.
“Out. Go,” Estelle said to everyone that was trying to crowd into the back room. “Take care of the shop. We’ll be out in a minute.”
They backed out of the room, but I could tell they were hesitant to leave me.
I loved that about them. It made me feel like I’d found a good group of people to surround myself with. It was just another reason that told me this move had been the right one for me.
Estelle closed the door and kicked a chair over to me as she rested her ass against the edge of the table. The table that probably needed to be wiped down. But I was sure she didn’t want to know that. I tried not to cringe.
“What happened? Did he hurt you?” There was something in her tone that let me know she didn’t think he had. She wasn’t jumping to conclusions like Wade had, though I couldn’t blame Wade given her past.
“I don’t even know,” I said, blowing out a long breath. “He was mad. But not at me, at that asshole who grabbed my ass. And he told me that I better give him a heads up next time. I didn’t mean for that to happen.”
“But you did enjoy seeing it a little,” she said with a smirk.
“Well, that guy did deserve it.”
“He did,” she said with a nod. “I’m a little surprised you didn’t do it yourself.”
“I think he did a better job than I could have,” I said with a small smile.
I couldn’t say I hated watching that asshole get his ass kicked.
Why had I sent the guy across the street? Well, I wasn’t all that sure. It could have been that a part of me hoped something like that would happen. I guess I got my wish and all.
“Then what?” Estelle asked.
“I can’t talk about that with you,” I whispered and felt a faint blush hit my cheeks.
She laughed, seeing that I wasn’t upset about it.
“I’m pretty sure I can figure it out. His grunts weren’t exactly quiet, especially that last one.”
My mouth fell open in shock for half of a second before I broke out in a fit of giggles. She was right, he was a little loud and that sound had been so hot.
“We didn’t have sex,” I rushed to say but I couldn’t tell you why. I wasn’t ready for something like that and I didn’t want her to think that I’d pushed myself. “He just… fucked my cheeks…?”
“What?” she asked sounding confused as she looked at the side of my face like she was trying to figure it out. “Like… yeah, I’m not getting that one. Hm, didn’t think there would be something new to me. You need to explain it to me so that I can try it.”
I laughed again and swatted her leg.
“No, like my ass cheeks.” My hand came up and I pushed them together as if that would explain it. “You know, like titty fucking, but between my ass.”
“Oh, that makes more sense,” she said with a small chuckle. “Still, I haven’t done that one. Did you like it?”
I blushed again. Yes, it was weird talking about this with her because she was practically family.
“Maybe,” I said but couldn’t look at her.
Oh, yes, I had liked it. There was something about him showing such appreciation for my big ass that made me feel beautiful and wanted. While I was confident enough with the shape of my body, I was still a woman inside. I still had insecurities that would pop up every now and then. And, well, when you’re near a man like him, all built and tall and sexy, one might not be able to help but feel like they were a little too… fluffy.
He could have fucked me. I probably would have let him. But he hadn’t even tried. It was like he knew exactly what he wanted. Almost as if he’d been thinking about that one thing for a long time, holding out for the moment he got his chance to make his fantasy a reality.
Thinking that could be the case, I blushed hard.
I liked it. Yeah, I really did. And I wouldn’t mind if it happened again.
And can I just pause and talk about his fingers for a second?
Thick, rough, and very fucking talented. I had never come so quickly in my entire life. It was like he just knew how to play with me to work me up, and he knew just the right spot to hit to send me over the edge once he was ready for me to fall.
I was starting to get hot and bothered again.
“Still thinking about it, I see,” Estelle commented with humor in her voice. “Then what’s the problem? And where did he go?”
The smile instantly slipped from my face.
This was the part that was the hardest. The messiest.
I wasn’t sure how to even explain it to her.
I felt a wrecking ball of guilt slam into me.
I’d let him walk away thinking that he’d hurt me. That he’d forced something upon me without my wanting it.
There was something about the way he resigned to it so easily. He hadn’t tried to blame me or make excuses. He hadn’t threatened me or tried to touch me again.
He surrendered.
Even went as far as to tell me to call the cops on him.
“Oh fuck!” I said and let my head fall back. I blinked up at the ceiling trying to hold the tears in.
He hadn’t done anything wrong but I
had. I had let him walk away thinking that he’d hurt me.
Maybe he didn’t look like the nicest person, but so far he’d proved over and over again that he’d never harm me. Not intentionally.
For fuck’s sake, I’d stabbed him and he merely walked away.
It seemed that was his go-to.
But it wasn’t like he was running away.
What was it he’d said before he stormed out of the door?
He’d be waiting for the cops in his shop.
Like he had accepted that he made a mistake and wasn’t going to try and get out of it.
“I fucked up and didn’t even mean to. I was just panicking a little because I’d let him get that close. And I hadn’t been scared or felt this urge like I needed to stop it, but he read something in my face and thought that I hadn’t wanted it.”
“He thinks he attacked you?” She sat taller, clearly on edge and needing to hear more. I was sure the only thing going through her mind was that she needed to protect me and if I had given something away that made him feel that way, there might be some truth to it.
“Yes, but he didn’t,” I rushed to say, my arms swatting the air in front of me as if telling her to stand down.
“You need to go talk to him then,” she said with a raised brow that made me drop my gaze.
She was right but I wasn’t exactly eager to do such a thing.
Besides, what would I even say to him? How could I apologize for something like that without telling him that I liked it? I mean, I could have told him, but I didn’t want to be that girl. The one that was all moon-eyed over a man after he got me off. Emotions were heightened and things were tense, that was the only reason we crashed together like that.
“Go,” she said shortly as if telling me I didn’t have a way out of it.
“Okay, fine. You’re right,” I said then stuck my tongue out at her. “Is that what you want to hear?”
“Damn right!” she said with a laugh.
I got up, dragging my feet until I reached the front door. Then I stood tall, pulled all my courage into one energetic ball inside of me, and walked out of the shop like I had all the confidence in the world.
I pulled open the door to Branded in Ink with a tiny bit of guilt hitting me. I was sure they all hated us across the way and I couldn’t even blame them.
