“Been waiting a long fucking time to do that,” he said and I turned my head to glare at him.

A little warning would have been nice.

Then again, he wasn’t that kind of guy.

Before I could say anything, he did it again. My hot flesh jiggled and the smile on his face told me he really liked what he saw.

How could I hate a man that loved my ass that much?

Nope. I couldn’t. And I couldn’t hate the way he worshiped it too.

Without warning, he gripped my hips and thrust inside of me hard.

A long, moan fell out of my mouth as my shoulders fell back to the bed and I gave myself over to him.

Oh, God. I couldn’t even explain all the things I was feeling at this moment.

He pulled out, nearly all the way. I felt the ball at the bottom of his head slip out, and then in again as he worked my pussy with just the head of his cock. The piercing glided over something that had me nearly quivering inside.

Just as I was getting used to the feeling of it, he slammed back into me again. I didn’t even try to hold myself still as he pulled me back onto his cock over and over again.

The build-up was quick. So quick that I couldn’t slow it down or stop it. I was there, so ready to come. My body shook and as I opened my mouth to let the pleasure roll up through me, he pulled out.

I screamed in frustration as my hands fisted the sheets.

  And he chuckled again.

I hoped to fuck he was getting some enjoyment out of this because I was ready to snap.

It’d been so long since I had any kind of intimacy. And really, none if it had been anything spectacular.

It certainly didn’t compare to this, and I wasn’t just talking about how much I wanted Blade.

Yes, he was rough. And yes he gave it to me hard. But the difference was that he cared about what I took away from it. His end goal here was to make sure I enjoyed it just as much as he did.

Even if he was teasing and torturing the hell out of me.

“Dammit, Blade. If you don’t fuck me until I come, I’m going to—”

The words died in my throat as he slammed into me again.

  Yes.

  Yes!

  This was what I wanted.

My pussy clamped down on him as if I could keep him from escaping me again.

“Fuck, yeah, babe. Grip my cock tight.” He nearly grunted out each word. And every single one of them made me wetter.

He shifted slightly, pulling my ass back and with the new angle, I understood the reason for the bar on the underside. Every time he would slam into me, it would brush my clit and cause electrical shock waves to zip through my body.

Then I was moaning and pleading like a porn star. No joke. Every single one of them real and I never knew sex could cause such uncontrollable things to happen to my body.

I barely registered the loss of one of his hands from my hips.

But I did notice when I felt something against my back door.

Not sure about it, my body shifted as if trying to hide that little rosebud from him.

His hand came down hard on my cheek and my mind seemed to short circuit, no longer telling my body to shy away from whatever he was about to do.

There was no hesitation as he slipped the wet digit into my ass. Not from him at least.

However, the moment I felt his thumb curl up inside of me, I nearly lost it. I no longer cared about the uncertainty and insecurity I felt about him sticking something in my butt. Yeah, it felt that damn good.

Now he was controlling my body by that hooked thumb inside of me, his fingers spread wide on my still-hot cheek, digging in to help control the movements.

Like he couldn’t help it, his other hand came down on my unmarked cheek. And that was what set me over the edge.

“Blade,” I screamed out so loud I was sure the entire city heard it. My voice was harsh and raw from already vocalizing my pleasure so much.

“Give it to me, Sweet Cheeks,” he said, his hips somehow working faster and harder. “Cream all over my cock, woman.”

So I gave him what he wanted, coming so hard that I felt it all spread on my thighs because he wasn’t slowing down.

  He wasn’t letting himself come.

  My, God! How?!

Surely, he wasn’t going to try and get another one out of me, right?

  But he was.

His hips slamming into me like it was a race to see how fast he could make me come again.

And it didn’t take any kind of time before I felt a second orgasm building up inside of me. I tried to hold back. I was a little curious to see how long he could go. However, my body said there was no stopping this train.

His hips stuttered and there was a pause.

I was about to ask if something was wrong when he started up again, somehow pounding into me even harder than before. I didn’t know it was possible and there I was, eating up every second of it.

His thumb slipped out of me and then he was dragging me back. I somehow ended up reverse cowgirl style on his lap, causing me think about Wade for a split second and how she was right.

  Giddy up!

  Oh, yeah.

So I braced my hands on his thighs and rode him as hard as I could. Every time I dropped down on him, I circled my hips and ground my clit against the perfectly placed metal there.

I came again, my hoarse voice calling out his name over and over again in a near whisper.

This time, he punched up into me and came so hard I swore I felt his release filling me up.

And it felt like a lot.

I fell forward, collapsing on the bed.

There he went chuckling at me again, only this time I didn’t mind so much. Or I was too worn out to give a fuck.

He scooted back, pulling out of me as he went.

I gasped and tried to sit up right away, nearly kneeing him in the stomach as I did.

  Something wasn’t right.

I knew he’d made me come— really hard and twice, at that. But there was no way the sudden burst of wetness that trickled out of me was all mine.

He met my eyes and I could see it written on his face.

“Condom broke.” He voiced it out loud just in case I hadn’t gotten it.

  Then he shrugged.

He fucking shrugged like it was no big deal!

Top that off with an odd sort of smile and I didn’t know what was going through his head.

That was when it hit me. He knew before he came inside of me that it had broken. I looked down at his cock, still massive even though it was soft, mind you. No, it didn’t just break, it looked as if the entire tip had been blown off.

  Now, I was freaking out.

It wasn’t like I was on any sort of control for this.

And not to mention that I didn’t know a thing about his sexual encounters. What if he wasn’t safe? What if he had moments like this all the time and carried the same attitude along with it?

What if he had a ton of kids running around somewhere?!

I gasped as that last one entered my mind.

“It happened,” he said as he got to his feet. “We’ll deal with it.”

I got another shrug before he scooped me up into his arms.

Was it really not that big of an issue to him?

Like somehow I could just get rid of whatever might come from this night and move on? Was he insane?!

  “Deal with it?!” I screeched.

He marched through my apartment, across my bedroom and finally set me down in the shower. There was so much going on that I couldn’t even think about how I’d been avoiding my bedroom lately.

“Yeah,” he said calmly and started the water. I couldn’t figure out why he wasn’t getting it. “Maybe we’ll get lucky and you can pop out two your first time. I bet I have strong enough swimmers to manage that.”

My mouth dropped open in shock. I couldn’t do anything but just stare at him.

“Or maybe it won’t happen this
time and we can keep trying.” He smiled at me with a kind of devilish grin.

Somehow it made my insides quiver as if saying I liked the thought of that.

  But that was nuts.

Because I hardly knew him and yet here we were dealing with the possibility of a pregnancy. The way he was talking, he was determined to make it happen.

  “Blade!” I snapped.

“Sweet Cheeks,” he said stepping into the shower and I hadn’t even realized he’d turned on the spray. “I’m keeping you. If I gotta knock you up to make you understand that you’re it for me, I don’t have a problem doing that.”

  He was serious, too.

I wasn’t sure what to do with that, so I let him wash me. I let him take care of me while my head spun out of control. Then I let him take me to bed and sleep on top of me.

I didn’t get a wink of sleep and I had no clue how he did.

In the morning, I tried to play it off. I did my best to act somewhat normal as I told him I had to get ready for work and said my goodbye.

I felt a little bad as I watched him make his way down the stairs. He didn’t look like he was moving so easily but I had a feeling that if I said something I’d only make it worse.

Somehow, amazing sex had turned into something else.

And, well, I had a feeling I’d need a long while to unpack it all and sort it out.

  CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

  Blade

I flicked the kickstand down and climbed off my bike.

For some reason, I inhaled deeply through my nose.

There was something different about the air here and I wondered why I’d never taken a moment to notice it before.

I actually smiled as I walked into the back door to the shop.

Damn, it felt good to be back here. Yeah, I’d only been out five days, but that was five too many. Sitting around sucked big time. I realized I could have gotten my ass up, but since I’d come back from Harley’s, Charming was around most of the time to make sure I didn’t push it. He might have been a little pissed that I hadn’t taken it as easy while I had been with my woman.

I snorted thinking about it. No way in hell I was going to not give it my all once she gave me the go-ahead. Fuck, it had been worth it too.

And then there was Laurel and Abigail. They were around when Charming couldn’t be. Sure, I could have gone up against them, but I never would.

I’d healed enough that Charming let me go. Or I’d bitched enough that he was just done with me. Either way, I fuckin’ won and I was out.

So it was back to work for me and I really couldn’t be happier.

All of us were in the shop today. Why? Well, I guessed they didn’t think I’d be back. They had covered for me no problem, but I didn’t feel right about that shit.

Cami looked worried, but there was also a hint that she was happy to see me. I was a little afraid she’d try to hug me but I was pretty sure I knocked that idea out of her head with a hard look.

After that, the day went on like normal.

And I was back to staring across the way trying to see my woman.

That woman, she’d been avoiding me ever since I left her the next morning.

If it were anyone else, I’d say she was toying with me. Giving me the run around just to see how far I’d go. But after the shit she’d been through, I tried to give her a little space. That space was closing in quick. She’d had almost two days to sort through everything that had happened. And, once again, I found myself at the end of my rope.

Time was counting down, but I’d give her the day. Well, most of it. I wasn’t sure how long I could hold off.

For now, I was going to throw myself into some work.

Sketch booked it past my doorway a little later on, and I jerked to attention.

He headed out the front without so much as a word to where he was going.

  Yeah, that shit wasn’t normal.

He’d always yell out when he was leaving, most of the time announcing that he was getting food and asking if we wanted anything.

No, shit wasn’t going to fly today.

“Brand,” I said as I made my way into the main area of the shop. Brand and Cami were standing at the counter in the front.

“Yeah?” he asked, his head snapping up to look at me.

“Need to borrow Cami’s car,” I said, my eyes going out the front windows to make sure that Sketch hadn’t just walked over to the bakery across the street.

He’d become addicted to that place. He usually stopped there before he came into the shop for the day and brought in a box full of sweet shit for everyone. But that wasn’t to say that he hadn’t needed a fix in the middle of the day.

As much as I wished it was something simple like that, there was a kick in my gut that told me it wasn’t.

“She’s right here, you can ask her yourself,” he replied, his tone held a sense of what the fuck?

“Know she’s right there,” I said flatly. “She’s your woman, I’m coming to you.” I really shouldn’t have had to explain that one.

“Why do you need it anyway?”

My eyes jerked to meet his.

  And he got it instantly.

I was going after Sketch and I couldn’t take my bike because he’d know I was following him. Cami’s car didn’t exactly blend in, but it was a lot quieter than my pipes.

“Give him your keys, Cami,” he told her, not I could hear the edge in his voice.

“Okay,” Cami said a little shakily. She’d been around enough to get that something was going on but she didn’t want to actually know what it was.

She placed her keys in my palm and I took off for the back. I slid into her car. Some old blue thing that Ky liked to drool over all the time. I drove out of the alleyway with the window down.

What the fuck was Sketch up to?

Pulling out my phone, I dialed Cable’s number.

  “Hey, brother,” he answered.

“Need a location on Sketch,” I told him flatly.

“What’s going on?” he asked but I could hear him clicking away on his computer in the background.

“Don’t know. Plannin’ on finding out.”

Cable quickly told me the crossroads he could last pin Sketch’s phone at.

I drove in that direction and kept Cable on the phone.

Damn, this car might have been old but it had some fucking power. I was catching up with his speed-demon ass in no time.

“Where do you think he’s going?” I asked.

“Not sure,” he replied. “That area of town is pretty desolate.”

“You think this has something to do with where he used to hang?”

“Maybe?” There was a short pause. “Hold on. Let me pull up the stuff from when…”

I knew what he was talking about and didn’t need him to actually say it. I had a pretty good idea it was hard for him to go back there. His woman, yeah, she’d been through hell with all that shit. And that was before he knew she was his. Didn’t take much for him to get sucked up in her though. Claire was pretty cool, so I guess I couldn’t blame him.

  But enough about that shit.

“There was some building that Lake went in with him. Might be near where he parked.”

Seeing Sketch’s bike up ahead, I pulled off to the side of the road. However, I didn’t see him anywhere.

Wherever the fuck I was, there wasn’t much around. Just a few buildings that looked like they needed to be gutted and torn the fuck down.

“Try looking around the back,” Cable said as I cut the car off.

“Right,” I mumbled out and managed to thank him before I hung up.

He probably wanted to know what the hell was going on. Not that I knew myself. If it came to something, then I’d fill Iron in and go from there. But there was no sense in setting everyone on edge if it was nothing.

I had no idea which building, so I was going to have to work quick to narrow it down.

It took me three tries to finall
y find one that had some sort of signs of life inside. The back door opened easily and right away, I knew the place wasn’t empty.

I made my way through the crumbling hallways, listening for any sort of noise.

A few of the rooms held sleeping people curled up on flat blankets on the floor. No one paid me any mind as I worked my way further inside.

There was no sign of Sketch. I couldn’t even hear his voice and I’d wondered if I’d gotten it wrong.

Up a flight of stairs and I found much of the same.

  But no Sketch.

It wasn’t until I got to the top floor that I heard him.

With slow, silent steps, I inched my way closer.

“Just tell me what the fuck I want to know, Monty,” Sketch sounded darker than he normally did.

He didn’t want to be here and that was clear.

“Fuck you,” the guy— Monty, I assumed— yelled. “I’m not telling you shit.”

“Nah,” Sketch said and I heard his feet moving across the floor with purpose. “That ain’t gonna work for me. I know you’re behind it. I want them back.”

“Or what?” Monty spat out with a shit-load of attitude. There was a moment of silence that had me twitching to move. “You left, man. Said you’d take care of us and then you took off to live the good life. Got yourself a nice place to live and a job. Got other shit too.”

There was something in the way he said it like he was taunting Sketch with it.

“I know what I got,” Sketch said. “And I worked my ass off to get it. I did what I could and I’m sorry I found an out and fuckin’ took it. You’d have done the same.”

“Yeah, fuck off. You shouldn’t have come back here.”

“I came back here because you have something of mine.”

“Yeah? Something I’m sure your club won’t miss. Not with as many as I saw in that container. Losing a few crates ain’t gonna hurt them.”

  That caught my attention.

  No fuckin’ way.

“You’ll give ‘em back and I’ll make sure my club don’t know it was you,” Sketch said and I reached for my knife.

I didn’t have a damn clue why Sketch would stick his neck out like that, but that shit wasn’t going to happen.

Not now that I was here.
