“Look,” he said, “our river! ‘The street of the City’ where we met. By which we may travel to the end and find the City Eternal waiting to welcome us someday.”
“Yes,” said Frannie softly. “I found some verses this morning in my Bible. They sort of fit now. ‘Here we have no continuing city, but we seek one to come…. An house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens!’ ”
And so they said a tender good night, and Valiant Willoughby went on his way. And the next day was a new day!
