Looking After Lindy

Excerpt From Sharing Shelby
Shelby Daniels twirled around in the dressing room making the pretty, blue dress float around her thighs. It was the same color as her big, blue eyes making them stand out even more in her heart-shaped face. “Hi, Daddy,” she practiced softly in the mirror. Sadness shadowed her eyes. She had dreamed since she could remember of meeting her Daddy, well Daddies because her dreams always featured two men, but they hadn’t appeared in her life. Her family and friends were all encouraging her to date and find her Mr. Perfect. They said it wasn’t right for such a beautiful woman to not go out on Friday and Saturday night to flirt. Did she expect to have Prince Charming ring her doorbell?
They couldn’t understand that Shelby preferred her e-reader to fending off the groping hands of men that were so wrong for her. Reading and rereading the erotic romances she had found on the internet inspired her hope that she’d find the men that were right for her. She just needed to keep looking. She knew her Daddy was out there. Shelby crossed her fingers as she corrected herself. She knew her Daddies were out there.
Picturing them in her mind, she knew they were strong and forceful. The details of their height and hair color didn’t matter to her. Her Daddies were looking for her, too. They needed to find their Little girl. The baby who they would care for completely. She knew it would be embarrassing at times. Her face colored in the mirror at the thought of submitting to the intimate care they would lavish on her. Their requirements would push her boundaries, but she wouldn’t be able to refuse them. They were her Daddies.
A cough in the next dressing room started the slender brunette. She glanced at her watch with dismay. Quickly, she unzipped the dress and hung it carefully on the hanger. She couldn’t leave it here. Crossing her fingers once again that no one would be at the register, Shelby rushed to redress and run from the dressing room with her precious find cradled in her arms. She was in luck. No one was checking out. She put the dress on her credit card and waited long enough for them to hang a plastic bag over the beautiful garment.
Dashing out of the store, she ran as fast as her sandals allowed back to her office building. Her boss had been out this morning. With luck, he’d have meetings all day. She opened the door to rush into the air conditioning. Looking down to make sure she wasn’t crumpling her dress, Shelby walked straight into a hard, male body. She bounced back stumbling on her heels. Just as she was about to fall backward, a strong hand wrapped around her elbow to steady her.
“Whoa! You were going too fast there, Little girl. Are you okay?” a low, masculine voice wrapped around her.
Shelby looked up into a chiseled, handsome face. Her eyes drifted down his expensive, custom-tailored suit that hugged his broad shoulders. A warm feeling started in her tummy and expanded into her body. She hadn’t had this sensation before. She paused as they looked at each other. In a flash, she remembered she was late. Shelby stammered her apologies as she ducked around his body that almost spanned the width of the doorway. “I’m so sorry, sir. I should watch where I was going,” she called over her shoulder as she rushed into the warren of cubicles. That feeling in her tummy scared her. What was her body telling her?
“Wait! Are you alright?” his voice followed her into the building.
The proverbial thumbs-up was the only answer she took time to give him as she escaped from his view. Finding her home away from home, she stumbled into her cube. She hung her dress on the cube wall and flung herself into her chair as she dropped her purse on the desk. Her fingers flew over the keys to log back into her computer.
Taking a deep breath, she felt her shoulders dropped from around her ears. She’d made it. Looking up at her screen, she saw the blue sticky note. “You’re late. Thank you for volunteering to work on Saturday without pay.” Her head drooped despondently. “So much for going to play in the park,” she mumbled to herself.
“He came by about five minutes ago. He looked pretty smug. I read the note. I bet he was going to ask you to work this weekend for extra pay. You just saved his budget by coming in late,” a snarky voice came from behind her.
“Hi, Veronica. It’s okay. I didn’t have anything to do this weekend.”
“You didn’t buy that dress, did you? It looks like something a six-year-old would like,” Veronica observed as she examined her long red nails for nicks.
“Oh, you know me, Veronica. I have horrid taste in clothing,” Shelby answered with a smile. She was determined not to let the catty woman know she was bothered by her incessant negative comments. Shelby was glad that if she had to work on Saturday, at least Veronica wouldn’t be there. Shelby typed a quick message to her boss that she’d mark her schedule to come in as he requested. She wanted him to know that she hadn’t been that late. Maybe he’d let her leave at noon.
She turned to the stack of papers and started working. Her boss had left additional work for her to complete as well when he’d visited her cubicle. Starting to feel a little depressed, Shelby turned to look at the beautiful dress. It was so wonderful. “Worth it!” Shelby whispered before diving in to complete as much of the paperwork as possible. Locking the picture of the handsome man and the feel of his body against hers into a small box in her brain, Shelby threw away the key. He was way out of her league.

Excerpt from Madi: Dr. Richards’ Littles 12
Madeline pushed back her home office chair and looked out the dining room window. She’d just hit send on the PLAYTIME application, and she was already second-guessing her decision to list herself on the specialized dating site. She stood up resolutely and walked over to pick up her floppy hat and keys. Madeline forced herself to go out for a walk on the beautiful afternoon to get out of her apartment and away from the computer before she changed her mind.
Stepping out of the front door, Madeline stopped and rolled her shoulders. She was doing the right thing. She’d been searching for an age play relationship for a long time. She’d met a few people that said that they were interested in age play, but she soon realized that they were just willing to say anything to be in a relationship with the wealthy Trent Danton’s daughter. She clasped her hands in front of her and said a short prayer of thanks that at least they hadn’t gone to the media when the relationships had ended. At least in that way, she has chosen a partner that well.
A friend had told her about the new dating site a few weeks ago. Penelope had shared the news of the site as a tidbit of weirdness. Someone wanting a Mommy or Daddy was so fake. They must just want to con someone out of money. Her friend had no idea that Madeline was interested in age play. Penelope had gossiped about it at lunch saying that it must have been designed by a very wealthy man with deviant sexual tastes.
Madeline had a completely different reaction to the news. She tried to act nonchalant, but inside she was cheering with excitement. She sped home that afternoon and logged on immediately. Madeline had visited it frequently in the last couple of weeks trying to decide whether she should try it or if she should just give up and settle for another vanilla relationship that was doomed to failure.
Finally, she had filled in the application on thePLAYTIME site. She had to take a picture of her ID proving that she was over eighteen and attach it to her application. She took a deep breath and pressed the join button before she could talk herself out of it again. Madeline stared at the screen as it announced that her application had been received and that she should receive a notification of any suggested matches as soon as her application was fully processed.
Madeline knew she’d go crazy just watching the screen. She set her tablet on the couch and ran to change clothes. She might as well go for a walk while she debated whether she was brilliant or brainless for putting her information on a dating site regardless of how secure it was supposed to be. Tying her shoes and grabbing her keys, she set off with a quick pace toward the park.
“Honk!” a blue sports car came to a brake-squealing stop just inches from her. Madeline realized a
s she shook in the reaction that she had just stepped blindly off the curb right in front of the oncoming car. Thank goodness, they were paying attention.
“I’m so sorry,” she began in a rush as a beautiful couple flung open the car’s doors and rushed toward her. “Thank you for stopping. I was lost in thought. I’m sure I gave you a scare.” Madeline looked ruefully down at her cell phone that she had dropped when the horn sounded so close to her.
“Are you all right, miss?” The tall, muscular man ran his hand through his thick black hair pushing it out of his eyes as it fell in waves over his forehead.
His wife was right behind him. She came over and hugged Madeline. “That must have been very scary. My heart is racing even now,” she confessed. Her blue eyes were filled with concern as she stepped back to look over Madeline’s petite form as if she was making sure that the young woman was okay.
“I… I‘m fine. I’m just sorry I stepped in front of you. I was thinking too hard and not watching where I was going,” she confessed. “It was my fault totally.”
“If you were my Little girl, you’d be stretched over my lap with your bottom being thoroughly spanked,” the man said firmly. Madeline was surprised to see his wife nod her head in agreement. He leaned over to pick up the cell phone turning it over to see the shattered screen. Handing it to the waiflike figure, he said softly, “Thank goodness, this wasn’t you!”
Madeline had looked down immediately to hide the flash of interest that she knew was in her big brown eyes. She’d never been lucky to have anyone that cared enough about her to spank her. She nodded her head slowly. “I’m sorry. I didn’t do it on purpose. I should go.” Madeline turned and started to walk away quickly. She heard the couple ask her to wait and call after her that they’d give her a ride home if she needed one. Madeline just waved a hand and began to cut through yards and parking lots to make sure that she disguised her route home. You never knew what kind of people you’d run into out in the world. “Hopefully, they were good people,” she thought to herself. She was sorry that she had scared them.
