  “I know.” Law agreed with a smile.

  Baine tossed his arm over Ryan’s shoulder. “Let’s go get those drinks.”

  The dance floor opened to all and Lovella shoved at Lilliana’s husband. “Come on, Rich. Dance with an old maid.”

  “Lord. An almost fight. Willow’s on the road to recovery. Baine and Sloan married. My dad head over heels. Your wildly amazing family. You’re a damned triplet! We’re engaged. I’m spinning from it all.”

  “Not yet you aren’t.” Law extended his hand, ushered her onto the dance floor, and twirled her into his embrace.

  Mags laid her head on Law’s chest as they swayed to Luca’s and Lilliana’s voices. She angled her head at him. “Can you sing?”

  “Not like that.” His white teeth appeared behind his sensuous lips. He lowered his head to her ear. “There are other things I can do that he can’t.”

  “Like love me forever?”

  “And so much more.”

  A BASE BRANCH NOVEL

  One takes control. One finds balance in letting go.

  * * *

  Base Branch operative, Ryan Noble is accustomed to taking orders whether from his commander or his overbearing mother. His best friend urged him to take control of his life, but the only thing worse than an angry woman is a teary one. He has no desire to upset his mother’s fragile emotions. Losing his sister was hard enough, his mom couldn’t bear losing another child. Even if it is to the other side of D.C. It's a damn good thing she doesn't know what he does for a living.

  On a routine mission to destroy a cargo free human trafficking facility and exterminate it’s operators, Ryan blows his extraction to rescue a woman he finds chained inside.

  Piper Vega is caught between metal and a hard place. She needs information and it has taken far too long to cull it from her leads, also known as her captors. She finally has the facts she needs to complete her task, but it’ll take a miracle to set her free and see it achieved. Santo Padre knows she never expected her good favor to come in the form of a man.

  Ryan takes the reins of life in his sturdy grip while Piper discovers balance in loosening hers. Through intense battles of will, both find the unexpected.

  A BASE BRANCH NOVEL

  A silver fox learns new tricks.

  * * *

  The Base Branch office in Washington D.C. is so heavily fortified it makes Fort Knox look like a 7-11. After twenty years in covert ops, nothing fazes Commander Vail Tucker. When a lighting bolt of feminine fury crashes into the interrogation room, holds him at gunpoint, and takes over the task with his prisoner, he’s more than surprised. Even his elite operatives would have one hell of a bad day breaking into the fortress and a harder time leaving.

  She escapes without a trace, but Vail is unable to remain dispassionate. He must know what is so important the beguiling woman would risk her life to find. Following instinct, he’ll stop at nothing to find the answer.

  Carmen Ruez is deadly and desperate—a combustible combination. Born into the remnants Arellano Felix Organization, drugs and violence kept her in a gilded cage. Until a turn of fates showed her the roots of their riches, making her yearn for freedom. She works for it. Fights for it. But her brother crosses the line to keep her loyal to the treacherous family she is determined to leave behind.

  Vail struggles as a bond he never expected forms. It’s not with the woman who stirs his every desire. But with one, young and vulnerable, who galvanizes a protective instinct he hadn’t known he possessed. Now, he just has to get the other one to come around. Though none of it will matter, if they can’t work together to take down those loyal to Carlos Ruez and the AFO.
