“No ma’am, that isn’t necessary. Please” He began to back towards the door. “I hope you enjoy your stay here.”
“Wait!” Katie yelled to the man. “Who is this guy? Obviously, she’s not telling us anything. How can he upgrade us like this?” Katie looked at me with a wide-eyed grin.
“I have nothing to tell.” I quickly quipped back.
“This is his hotel.” He spun and made his way toward the door.
“Wait! Wait! Don't go. What do you mean it's his hotel?” Katie quickly asked but it was too late. The gentleman closed the large double doors behind and was gone.
“Maybe it is his,” Melissa said. “Did he tell you anything about what he does?”
“No. Not really. He said he dealt with the family business and was mostly like a babysitter. He would have told me if he owned a place like this. Wouldn’t he?”
“Who gives a crap who's it is. He must have great connections,” Katie giggled.
The girls spent the next forty-five minutes finding their way around the enormous four-bedroom suite. I managed to find the bar, tucked away in the far corner of the room and poured myself a glass of wine, staring at the white card with black letter that Chance had handed me at the airport, wondering whether I should call.
Chapter Five
Chance
I kept checking my phone, wondering if maybe I had missed her call. Nothing. I hoped that Becca would follow through on her deal to call me, but a part of me knew better than that. I paced back and forth in the office, knowing Becca and her friends were just a few floors below me, likely enjoying themselves and taking in everything the city had to offer. I found myself constantly thinking about her and I couldn’t resist the urge to call her.
The phone only rang a few times before she answered, her familiar voice sending waves of excitement through my body. “Becca? It’s Chance.” I took in a deep shuddering breath and realized that I had never been this nervous throughout any of my business dealings or anything else in my life. I could hear the girls giggling in the background as if a large party had already started.
“Hey, I was just thinking about you?”
“Really? I guess maybe I should have waited a little bit longer then.” I eased back into the leather chair in my office and close my eyes, remembering her perfect smile. “I wanted to make sure everything was just perfect for you and your friends.”
“Chance, It’s more than perfect. How can I ever repay you? There has to be something I can do for you? First the ticket, the ride and now all this?”
The Ticket? I wondered how she might have found out about that. “I appreciate the offer, but you really should enjoy yourself. Spend some time with your friends.”
“Seriously, this is just too much. There has to be something.”
I bit my lip, smiling at the idea that had been resonating in my head since we first met. “How about dinner?”
“Dinner?” The giggling in the background suddenly had become quiet whispers as I heard the girls talking to her. “Um…”
Suddenly the phone went quiet and a new voice emerged. “Chance, this is Melissa, she’s all yours tonight.”
A moment later Becca was on the phone again, quietly cussing at her friends in the background. “I’m sorry. Sure, dinner sounds great.”
“Sounds like your friends made up your mind for you. How about eight?”
“Perfect.”
“I'll have someone come and get you at eight then. See you then.”
I could feel a rush I hadn't felt in so damn long.
Chapter Six
Becca
I hung up the phone, still in shock at what had just happened. Melissa, Katie and Courtney sat on the couch on the opposite side of me, their smiles as wide as they could be. Even Courtney, as drunk as she was, understood what was going on. I could only smile and stare at Melissa. The thought had actually crossed my mind to tell Chance no, wanting to spend the time with everyone. Somehow, they got their way again by setting me on a date, although this time, I was more than happy to go.
“You owe me one Becs. I know you were going to bail on the sexy ass guy and if you did, I would have never forgave you. Now we just have to get you ready for the big evening.”
Katie smirked at Melissa. “Well, it was her connection that got us this kick ass suite, so maybe we are all even now…so tell us more about this guy. What really happened Becca?
“ I told you. I sat beside him on the plane.”
“Well you must have made some impression, and now it’s your chance to seal the deal. I hope you brought something sexy to wear out.”
I visualized everything I had packed and nothing that screamed sexy date with the owner of a hotel came to mind. I shook my head.
“Let’s go, we only have a few hours to do a little shopping.”
Chapter Seven
Chance
The doorbell to my penthouse suite rang and I immediately felt the butterflies in my stomach kick in. It had been a long time since I had been on a first date. Well over three years. First date. I wasn’t really sure that this was really considered a date at all. I had barely been apart from Sara for fourteen hours, but it was a welcome, calming feeling. We had grown apart over the last year, at least from my standpoint, and it felt good to be able to think for myself.
Pierre was working on the appetizers as I passed the kitchen and set my glass of wine on the edge of the bar. Tonight had been planned to perfection, thanks to Mary. She always came through for me at the last minutes.
I opened the door and was stunned. An instant attraction flooded my body and I felt myself getting harder as I smiled at Becca. Her black dress hugged her amazing body and was complimented by a pair of sleek stiletto heels. I tried not to be too obvious as I drank in her body with my eyes. “You look stunning Becca. Please, come in.” I looked just past her as Geoffrey stood in the hallway nodding that everything had gone as planned. I nodded back as both Becca and I made our way into the foyer.
“Chance, this place is huge. Is this all yours?”
The look on her face was adorable and I appreciated that she wasn’t accustomed to the fanfare and elegance I had grown up with. It was something I normally overlooked, but something Sara dwelled on daily. “It is. I actually spend a good deal of time here, so it’s nice that it was all of the amenities, but to be honest, it’s really too much.”
Becca smiled as she looked around the living area. “Well, it’s amazing…and something smells amazing. Are you cooking?”
I chuckled at the thought of cooking anything as delicious as Pierre was preparing. “No, I can cook, but tonight someone else is cooking. That will give us time to talk and relax a bit after our long trip.” I gently slid my hand on the small of her back as we made our way to the bar. “Would you like a glass of wine? You seem a bit…nervous.”
“That would be great. I could use a little something to make me relax.”
I poured her glass of wine and I joined Becca near the large sliding doors that opened to the patio area of the penthouse. “Beautiful isn’t it? On a clear night the strip looks absolutely amazing and you can’t even hear the buzz of the traffic up here.”
“It is. I almost forgot I was here was for bachelorette party.” She smiled and took a long slow swig from her glass, followed by a deep breath.
“It’s ok, there’s nothing to be nervous about. It’s just dinner, right?”
I turned toward the dining area as Pierre made his way towards us, a huge smile on his face. “Hello Miss Becca. I'm Pierre and I've prepared an amazing dinner for you both.” Pierre winked at me as he leaned over and kissed her cheek. Something about Pierre made people relax. I watched Becca as Pierre quickly vanished into the kitchen and quickly returned serving up platters. Each time he raised a lid, her eyes danced.
“I'll be offering several different wines for your taste, along with fun foods.”
“Fun foods?” Becca look at me, her eyes getting bigger.
“We ha
ve Lamb Kebobs with Mint Pesto, Chicken-Apricot Skewers, Steak Skewers with Scallion Dipping Sauce, and of course all the side dishes with each.”
“So much?” Becca’s mouth hung open as she scanned the table.
“I wasn’t sure what you liked, so I asked Pierre to give us a few choices.”
Pierre smiled with satisfaction at Becca. “And of course we have Cabernet Sauvignon with the kabobs, and Chenin Blanc with the chicken, and then there is the Champagne.”
“I think that will do it, Pierre. Where would you like to start, Becca?”
“I have no idea. Maybe some Champagne while I decide.”
Pierre poured us glasses of Champagne as we relaxed at the table overlooking the city and strip and talked our way through dinner. It had been the easiest conversation I had had with someone so stunning and smart in a long time. After dinner we made our way to the edge of the patio near the pool and ease ourselves into the lounge chairs lining the pool.
“I’m amazed you have your own pool, especially on the top floor.”
“I guess it’s one of the perks of the job.” I chuckled.
“So, what is your job Chance?” Becca leaned in and I could she was eager to find out all of the answers, but I wasn’t ready to let her in to my world just yet.
“How about we leave all of that work talk for another time. How about we take a little swim. I asked Mary to find a few suits that you may like.
“Who's Mary?”
“She's my assistant. We can thank her for all of this. She's quite good at planning all of the things I don’t usually have time for, but I always like to put my special on touch on things as well. So, how about that swim?”
“After eating all of that food, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get into a suit.” Becca giggled.
“I'm sure you'll do just fine. I have no doubt. Everything is ready straight at the end of the patio. There’s a changing room. Let me know if you need anything.” I watched as she made her way down the patio, the light from the pool reflecting off of her smooth skin and dancing in her hair. I quickly changed and returned, beating her by only a few minutes and giving me just enough time to set the perfect mood for us to get to know each other.
“You look amazing, Becca. That suit is the perfect choice.”
“I feel a bit, underdressed for a dinner date.” She giggled. “But like I’m learning, nothing is going I had planned for this weekend so far, it’s been so much better.”
I gently reached for her hand as I escorted her into the shallow end of the heated pool. The glass walls allowed for the perfect view of the nightlife below as I handed her a glass of champagne.
“So…” I raised my glass to her, “Thank you for holding up your end of the deal and agreeing to meet me for dinner, and a swim.” I smiled.
“I didn’t really hold up my end of the deal, I was supposed to call you, remember?”
“Well, you would have, right?”
Becca smiled as she nodded in agreement. “Yes, I would have.”
“Then to you almost holding up your end of the deal.”
We laughed as she took a small swig of champagne and looked me directly in the eyes. She inched closed and I felt the blood flowing through my body. “Chance, thank you for everything. This will be a trip I never forget.” She leaned in and kissed me gently on the cheek and then eased back, her eyes meeting mine and not turning away. I tried to fight the desire to kiss her back, but I couldn’t. I leaned in placing my lips firmly on hers and I felt an electricity pulse through my body. I felt myself growing harder and I fought to now pull her closer to me. The attraction was magnetic as she kissed me back, my tongue gently probing between her lips.
I realized the intensity between us and pulled back. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have. That was…”
“Perfect…” She smiled as she ran her hands down my arms, finding my hands.
“Maybe we should go inside for bit, I can show you around?” I needed some way to calm the situation down as the heat continued to flow through us.
Chapter Eight
Becca
Damn it! I didn’t want him to stop. I felt sensations racing through my body like I hadn’t felt in forever. I could feel his hardness growing between us as we kissed, only the thin material of our suits separating us. I had never wanted anyone as badly as I wanted him. The dream from earlier in the day was still stuck in my mind and his kiss was just as hot as I had dreamed.
I wrapped myself in the large terry towel and dried myself off as I stared at his perfectly chiseled body. His abs were waves of muscle only dwarfed by his perfect chest and well defined arms. Every inch of his body screamed perfection and it was more than I could have ever imagined. I closed my eyes as I remembered the feeling of his strong hands on mine and the taste of the red wine still on his full lips. I wanted more. I needed more.
“Becca, should we go inside? I can give you a little tour if you’d like.” His clear blue eyes melted me and I was ready to go anywhere he led me. He extended his hand and I quickly took it as we walked back toward the living room. The room was dark, lit with only a glowing fireplace. The warmth of the fire covered my body as Chance turned towards me and kissed me again. His lips finding mine ready and willing.
His kisses were long and lingering, slow and passionate. His hands on me were so strong. I could feel his grip on me, and I could feel my body reacting, wanting more. He laid me down in front of the fireplace gently, and slowly moved next to me, kissing my neck and then moving back to my lips. My robe slipped open, revealing my leg as he slid his hand up my thigh and then pulled himself closer. I could feel his hardness press against me.
He stroked my hair, sweeping it away from my eyes and pulled back enough so I could see his face in the glow of the fire. He buried his face deep into my neck, kissing down my chest as my robe fell open, revealing my still damp suit. I shivered as his lips traveled along my side and easily pulled the tie on my suit, allowing the top to fall open revealing my breasts.
His hand gently cupped my breast as his hot breath danced across my nipple and eventually felt the hot dampness of his tongue, licking my hard nipple. I could feel his hardness grow against me as he reached underneath me, cupping my ass and pulling me closer. Our breaths quickened as he kissed my chest again and his hands found my nipple.
Tugging lightly, he stretched it out and then slowly released it. I was on fire below, and began to wiggle under him. His thighs were tight, hard and so strong against me. His hand wandered up my thigh and played with the fringe of my suit, sliding under the edge and almost entering me and then he stopped.
“Becca, are you sure you want to do this?”
“I am.” I looked into his eyes and reached around his strong back pulling him close and kissed him hard. My body grinding against his, needing him, wanting him.
Without hesitation, he picked me up in his arms and carried me into his bedroom, my robe hanging off of me. With dim lights throughout the room, his face glowed. He was gorgeous. The night was gorgeous. He laid me down on his bed and began removed the thin nylon suits that separated our bodies. His hands moving along my body turned me on so much that I could barely breathe. His smell was intoxicating, and I took him in. Lying on top of me, he stroked my face with his hands, kissing me as he touched me. His tongue entered my mouth and searched deep inside. I could feel my body tingle from his touch and waited with delight, ready for more.
I wrapped my legs around his waist and found myself growing strangely confident. Nothing was holding me back as I inched closer to him. His face met mine and we kissed again and then he buried his face into my breasts. They perked with excitement. I came up off the bed, meeting his mouth, wanting more. Raking his tongue across my nipple, I could feel it poke against his soft cheek. Flicking the tip, his tongue worked my nipple until I felt a heated rush between my legs. I was about to scream when he pulled away and lowered his face, lower and lower. My stomach sunk as his nose swept down, resting on top of my crown. My bare fl
ower was at his face and the heat of his mouth made me come up off the bed.
He went deeper, taking his tongue to each side of me below. I could feel his tongue rake against the sides, moving in circles across my tip making me swell instantly. Faster and faster he worked on me, making me feel like I could explode with ecstasy at any time. Flashes of light appeared as my body shivered with delight and I could hardly breathe. My moans echoed off of the marble floors and glass of his luxurious room as I fell limp in his bed, fulfilled.
Chapter Nine
Chance
She rolled over and smiled as she stared at me, a look of contentment filled her face as her hands explored my body. “Your turn.” She giggled. Becca’s soft hands roamed my body, finally taking my hardness in her hands, gently stroking me and then faster. She guided me into her as my body plunged into her, moans escaped us both as she thrusted her body on mine, her hips moving in perfect synchronized movements with me.
Her hands dug into my back, pulling me closer to her as she whispered in my ear that she needed more, that she wanted more, and then begged me to stop and then start again. A strength and power filled my body as I lowered myself into her again and again. Her whispers brought me closer to exploding until I couldn’t take it any longer. I slid out of her, exploding and letting out a deep, breathy groan. She pulled me close again, wrapped her legs around me and kissed me until I collapsed next to her, drained of all energy.
We lay quietly in bed for few minutes, holding each other. Her smell and the feel of her body was so different and so comfortable. It was a feeling I wanted to experience every day. I closed my eyes and drifted into the night, still holding her.
Chapter Ten
Becca
We had both fallen asleep after the most amazing sex I had ever had. The room glowed from the lights of the strip and the blue lights from the clock on the nightstand. It was three in the morning. I wanted to stay the night with him and experience waking up next to the perfect man. I resisted the urge to leave, rolling over and watching him sleep. His strong body glistening under the lights. I wanted to touch him again, but I was afraid that waken him would also wake me from the dream I was having. I knew that’s exactly what it must have been. A dream.
