The text beneath the video described it as the final video for this channel with a forwarding link to the video blog he'd be keeping for this transition from female to male.
The new channel was otherwise completely unaffiliated to the previous Captain Hart one, which meant he'd probably lost some followers.
"Did you want to show me?" Bruce asked.
Leo nodded silently then used his thumb to press the 'play' button.
"Hi, my name is Leo. I used to be Captain Hart… Anyway, I'm just Leo now."
Leo in the video looked down from the camera for a second, and there was a cut between takes. Bruce could already see a key difference, in that this video was far less confident than the previous ones he'd posted.
"Anyway. This will be my last video from this account.
"I hope that people found strength in these posts and the community they created. I met so many interesting and amazing people during my time as Captain Hart, and I won't forget that. But it's time for me to close down this channel and create a new one.
"Repost and share the link below if you like. It's going to be my video blog of my official transition from female to male, now without any exciting superpowers to speed up the process. I am currently on day two on T. And if you aren't interested in following any of that, that's okay too.
"I can't continue being the same trans rights activist I was anymore, but that doesn't mean I won't be fighting in our corner for our rights.
"Good luck, my friends, and remember to stay safe."
The video ended.
Bruce looked at his boyfriend in wonder. "You're going to change the world," he said, a slow smile making its way over his features. "You're not even going to need a cape to do it."
