The Bailey Brothers Box Set- the Complete Trilogy

Jennifer reached behind her and unhooked her bra. It’s not worth the time trying to get him to do it. Men seem incapable of undoing a hook when they’re horny! She let the straps roll down her arms before flicking the brassiere onto the unoccupied couch behind her. Jen’s nipples hardened as his eyes focused on her exposed chest. With one more article of clothing to go, she leaned forward so her breasts dangled close to his face so she could pull her panties down. His breath deepened, and she could feel the heat kissing her skin. Once completely naked, she stood in front of him almost as a challenge to see what he would do next. His eyes scanned the entirety of her nude form, practically drinking her in.
“I want you to fuck me,” she whispered.
Ace pulled in a sharp intake of breath and appeared to be dealing with some internal turmoil until he stood up and moved towards her. The whispers of beer still lingered in his mouth and were tangy against her tongue as he kissed her deeply. He yanked his shirt over his head, and she only just managed to catch a glimpse of his heavy tattooed muscular frames before their bodies clashed back together and their tongues danced within each other’s mouths. She felt him wriggle out of his pants and slide his boxers down his leg with the other, all while maintaining the mouth connection. He pulled her in close, and her breasts brushed against his bare chest. The sensation of skin contact sent tingles running down her spine, and she could feel herself moisten. His hands deftly made their way up, and he toyed with her nipples between his fingers and thumbs. She moaned and raked her nails down his back in pleasure. His mouth moved down and suckled onto her left nipple, his tongue swirled it around his mouth and flicked at the tip. She bit down on her lip. She wanted him so bad.
So, take what you want!
Ace’s face looked surprised when she shoved him away. The back of his legs hit against the edge of the couch and he fell down, his cock protruding from his pelvis like an antenna on a radio. He had no time to react as she leaped on him. Quickly, she grabbed his penis and directed it into her opening. She could feel how wet she was and he easily slid in, a satisfying squelch to note the success. He groaned as she plunged down, the entirety of his length pushing against her inner walls. He really is a big boy. Jennifer had to hold back from screaming as she lifted herself and once again dropped down on him. The size of it felt like it was tearing her apart, but that just added to the pleasure. As she continued to bounce upon his cock, her nails bit into his shoulder blades, and she felt herself reaching climax. He appeared strained as she ground side to side, hitting her g-spot flawlessly. She couldn’t hold back no longer. Waves of static pleasure ripped through her core. Her body shuddered as she came, and her orgasm drilled into her stomach. Everything went silent around her apart from the primal scream echoing throughout the house. Then it was over. She slumped forward, beads of perspiration crowning her brow. Ace held onto her while their breathing steadied. Once ready, she pushed off of him and stood up, her legs felt like jelly as she scrabbled around to collect her clothing.
“See you tomorrow.” She left the room, leaving him open-mouthed.
Chapter 7
ACE
Covers tangled around his legs as he sat up bleary-eyed. His mouth was sour with the taste of sleep, and his ears adjusted to the morning call of the birds. Stepping from the bed, he checked his mobile. No new calls or messages. I guess no news is good news.
The shower streamed off his back as he lathered himself. Washing away last night’s activities. He still couldn’t believe it.
I slept with Jennifer Jacobs, star of Demon Hunters. I slept with Jenny, the woman I am meant to be protecting from danger. I slept with Jen, the most wonderfully perfect woman I know.
His penis throbbed at the thought of it. Semi-hard, he continued to wash before leaving the shower and preparing from the day. Suited and booted, he was ready for the day ahead as just a bodyguard. Is he just a bodyguard?
The smell of sizzling bacon brought him downstairs and out onto the patio. Jennifer was sipping her coffee and reading the morning newspaper. While she was completely oblivious to his appearance, he took the moment to admire her. Her soft brown locks were scooped into a messy bun over her head, and her face was devoid of any makeup. The lack of foundation allowed to see the spatter of freckles she tried so hard to conceal. Sunlight stoked her face and caught her blue irises so that they twinkled as she scanned the pages. Her lips were plump and swollen from sleep and possibly last night’s events, and were utterly kissable. He wanted to go over there, scoop her up and take her back to bed for the rest of the day. He would leave her sore afterwards.
Don’t be fucking stupid. I have a job to complete.
Clearing his throat, Ace made himself known and sat down opposite the actress. She folded her paper and beamed one of her disarming smiles at him across the table.
“About time you woke up! We have to get to the studio early today. I got a call they’ve changed the lines again, and I have to go through them with Seth before makeup,” her voice still had a twinge of early morning croak.
“I’m ready to go as soon as you are.” Ace started piling his plate high with this morning’s offering of bacon, eggs, and toast.
As he tucked in, Jennifer chewed thoughtfully on a slice of toast. Her eyes remained trained on him as though analyzing his every move. Ace looked up.
“What are you looking at? Have I got something on my face?”
“I think we need to address the elephant in the room.”
Ace gulped down his mouthful, toast scratching at his throat. He knew it needed to be talked about, but was somehow dreading the conversation. She’s going to tell me it was all a mistake. She’s going to fire me on the spot. I knew I shouldn’t let my guard down.
“Last night was fun,” the simplicity of the comment took Ace by surprise.
“But…?” he prompted.
“That’s it. I want to know your thought on our little session last night.”
“I apologize. It was entirely unprofessional of me, and I will not step out of line again. If you want to talk to the twins about this, I fully understand your situation.”
Ace didn’t notice Jen’s face until he looked up from his rambling. Wrong answer.
“You regret last night?” anger laced her words.
“No, I do not regret what happened between us, but I do regret the situation that surrounds it. I am meant to be your protector, and I took advantage of you when you had been drinking.”
“I asked for it!” she stood up, knocking back the chair.
“Please don’t be mad, Jen,” he carefully stood up and went over to her.
She flinched from his touch and maintained a distance from where he could not reach her.
“Fine. Let’s just call it an accident and get on with our lives. Hopefully, you can actually do the job you were hired for today and keep that asshole away from me.”
It was clear her words had meant to have hurt him, but Ace remained emotionless, and she strode off to get ready. Guilt flooded his system, and he held his head in his hands. How could he fuck things up so badly? Not only was he unable to do his job and keep this freak away from her, but now he was hurting her emotionally. He had to snap out of it. This woman was distracting him from keeping her safe.
Ace gathered the dirty plates and cleaned the table. Placing Jen’s fallen chair back into its place, he walked into the living room and sat down on the ‘untainted’ couch. Jennifer’s forgotten bra from last night sat limply next to him. He picked it up and thumbed the silky material. Black, like his heart apparently. How had he read her so wrong? She actually liked you, you idiot. Now I’ve really fucked things up.
The jangle of keys from the lobby sent Ace lurching to his feet, chucking the bra back onto the couch as he walked towards the source of the sound. Jennifer wore a cropped hoodie and joggers as she opened the door to walk out, not even checking that Ace was with her. Then she yelped.
Ace pushed past her and looked at the ground. Photos. Dozens of them. Of Jen and him havi
ng sex.
The color had drained from Jen’s face and soon Ace was matching her in complexion. How had he not noticed someone at the patio window taking photos? Because you were too busy looking at her.
Ace quickly picked them up and slipped them into his jacket pocket. She didn’t need to look at these any longer.
“Let’s go,” he pried the keys from her clammy hands and led her to the car.
As though in automatic, she placed herself into the passenger seat and clipped herself in without a word. Her mouth was drawn into a tight line, and her face was as white as a sheet. Ace climbed into the driver’s side and started the engine. The journey to the studio was silent and even when they got to the gates, Jen didn’t say her usual greeting to the security guard, merely flashed her ID and they drove in and parked up.
“How…?” she mumbled, finally breaking the silence.
“He must have gotten into the garden at an unguarded moment and taken the photos. I am sorry, Jen. I wasn’t paying attention.”
“What if they end up in the paper?”
Ace gulped. He hadn’t thought about that. It would ruin her reputation, and it would slaughter his prospects of further jobs. If you don’t get killed for fucking this one up so royally.
“They won’t, I’ll let the people know on my end. They have some links on the media side of things. I’ll get them to monitor it for any movement regarding you. I’ll get this sorted.”
Jen stared at him for a second before opening the car door and leaping out. She slammed the door behind her and started striding towards the studio. Ace quickly clambered out and sprinted after her. He grabbed her upper arm and flicked her round to face him.
“Get off me!” she protested.
“Jen, stop storming off. I may have messed this up so far, but I will make things right.”
“Then tell me the truth. How do you know all these people? Why are you here? Who does David know to bring you here? I’ve had enough of the lies because they’re no longer protecting me. They’re just hurting me,” the pain flowed through her words as pricks of tears gathered.
Ace looked around before pulling her towards a bench away from the studio doors. He prompted her to sit down, and he placed himself next to her. Crew buzzing around the entrance looked their way, but knew better than to come over and disturb them.
“My name is Ace Bailey and I am contracted by the mafia. The mafia has their links in all types of businesses including the movie industry and press. Demon Hunters must be partially funded by the mafia and that’s why David knows them. Either that or he’s got himself into trouble before. I don’t know the specifics. As you are the star of the movie, you are one of their biggest assets, and your safety is paramount to them. Therefore, once they heard you were in trouble, they hired me to get things sorted. I’ve been doing a lousy job, and if I don’t get rid of this asshole following you, then I’m pretty sure my life is on the line. Especially if they find out I’ve been fucking you. One of the twins, Pearl, is very possessive and clearly has a crush on me. She will definitely hold it against me. As if I didn’t pay enough attention because my mind was blurred by emotions. However, I do not regret last night. I enjoyed every second with you and god, I wish I could do it again. But I need to protect you right now and do my job. I’m sorry I hurt you earlier, which was not my intention. I just needed to get things straight.”
Silence fell between them while Jennifer appeared to process everything that had been said. He watched as she stared at him, trying to work out whether she should invest her time in me.
“Thank you, Ace. For telling me the truth. I’ve got to get into the studio now, Seth is waiting for me.”
He was confused by her emotionless departure but realized she had a lot to think about. It was best she knew about him now before things got too complicated. It was always the same. He had realized it was better not to tell women the whole truth from early on and even easier not to open up to them in the first place. That’s why his brothers laughed at his dream of settling down and living a peaceful life. It would never happen. Not while he was contracted by the mafia.
The studio was bursting with life as he followed the actress in. The crew was rushing around, and he caught James screeching directions at unfortunate assistants who crossed his path. It looked like they were on track for the final scene soon, and he could tell everyone was tense. Even David, perched in his chair, looked disheveled compared to the previous couple of days. Jen made a shortcut to her dressing room, but was intercepted by a rather sweaty Seth.
“Hey, Jen! Do you have some time to go over the new lines? I’ve secured us a private room,” he seemed almost excited to have her to himself for a bit.
“Of course, let me just put my handbag down, and I’ll meet you in there.”
Seth scurried off while she headed to her dressing room. Ace watched as she plonked her bag on the couch and stretched. He scanned the room to see if anything was amiss. Clearly, the cleaners had been in the night before because the wall was clear of the fake blood and everything appeared to be in its correct place. Good. She didn’t need reminding of the chaos.
Ace followed her to the meeting room off the side of the studio where she signaled for him to wait outside while she went into practice her lines. Ace took a quick glance through the window. Seth looked uncomfortable as he announced that the actor that played Michael would be joining them. I know how he feels. Just wants a bit of alone time with Jen. Who doesn’t?
A couple of minutes passed until the actor showed up, closely followed by James. Great, this jerk. The actor nodded at Ace when he entered the room, and Ace acknowledged his greeting before turning his attention back to James. He was wearing a shirt which skimmed his biceps and tight jeans which left little to the imagination. He loves himself so much that he gets his clothes to show off to the world.
“Mr. Bailey, I don’t think we have been properly introduced. I’m James, assistant director to David. It appears I might have been a bit snappy with you the last couple of days,” James held out his hand.
Ace decided to be the bigger man and shook it, “I’m Ace.”
“So what are you doing around here? Jenny mentioned that some of the usual paparazzi was harassing her, but I haven’t seen much lately. Did David put you up to this? I know he wants to protect his little darling, but then we all look out for her around here.”
“I’m just doing my job and looking out for her.”
“Are you sure that’s just all?” James' eyes glinted with mischief. Ace’s stomach churned.
“What do you mean?”
“It would appear that you two are closer than it seems. Especially with the photos lately.”
Ace’s fury almost made him lose control. How did this fucker know about the photos?
He grabbed James and flung him up against the wall. His back hit the wall with a loud thud, and his eyes opened in horror. Then he settled back into a smirk.
“So, it’s true then? Someone wanted a taste of the high life and just happened to stumble across our Jenny by chance. Well, let’s just say you’re not the only one who’s tasted her and trust me, she’ll get bored of you soon enough.”
“What are you talking about, you fucking creep?”
“The photos in the paper tell it all then. Oh, she is a naughty girl, fucking the help.”
The paper? The photos had already made the news? A sick feeling gurgled in the pit of Ace’s stomach before anger made him lurch out and shove James back into the wall.
“Get off me, you dick! I’ll have you kicked off this set before you can blink!” James squealed as Ace pressed him into the plaster.
“What photos were in the newspaper?” Ace spoke between clenched teeth.
“You and Jenny at the charity gala! What else would there be? Wait… are there other photos?” James smiled a shit-eating grin.
Relief flooded through Ace’s system. Thank fuck it wasn’t the photos from last night. It would cripple her career and slaug
hter his reputation. Ace released James from his grip and let the asshole readjust himself, all while maintaining that irritating expression.
“Fuck off!” Ace annoyance was heavily filtered right now, only a spark away from exploding in his face.
“It appears I have touched a nerve regarding our sweet Jenny. You know she won’t stick around with someone like you? You’re just another nobody. You know I’ve enjoyed her company quite a few times myself? She’s quite a minx. And yet she keeps coming back to me, time and time again. I think she’s destined to be with me. So how about you just step back and let her be with someone who’s actually on her level?”
Ace was about to punch the fucker in the face when he heard the door open behind them. Kieran Walker, the actor that played Michael, popped his head around the door.
“Everything alright, guys? We heard some banging on the wall.”
Then Jennifer appeared, seeing Ace’s reddened face and the clear anger circulating his blood. She excused herself and beckoned him to follow her back to the dressing room. Looking at James, Ace knew that Jennifer had worked out what had happened as he was all roughed up with his shirt untucked and his bun askew. Once they were in the dressing room, she slammed the door shut behind them.
“What the fuck happened?” she looked irritated. “I leave you alone for half an hour and you start a fight with the crew! You’re meant to be blending in.”
“The fucking bastard was just spouting a load of bullshit. I just got worked up when he started talking about you.”
She paused for a moment. “He was talking about me? What did he say?”
“He was saying how you would get bored with me because I’m not on your level.”
“He said that to you?” she looked exhausted. “He always tries this with people I seem interested in. Forget him.”
“Wait… were you ever with that asshole?”
Jen collapsed into a nearby chair before speaking.
“Originally, I was with him for nearly a year. Things were going great. But he just wanted me to make him look good. It was earlier in my career so my name wasn’t as big but I was arm candy for him. He made me go to all the parties with him and used me to get himself into exclusive events. It was fun for a while, but I just wasn’t interested in spending my life with my head in a bottle. Eventually, he started getting more extreme and spending entire weekends snorting cocaine off celebrities’ tables or drinking tequila with politicians. He was a social climber, and I was just a tool to get him where he needed to be. Eventually, I told him enough was enough and gave him the ultimatum to give up that lifestyle or to end things. He decided to pick the latter and that was that.”
