The Officer's Mess (Warriors Book 3)

Danielle’s eyes flared with arousal, just as he knew they would. She liked being ordered far more than she’d admit outside of the bedroom. In the moment, when they were all need and arousal, she always submitted to his orders.
Carefully, she turned, moaning at the intrusion in her rear.
Bedvir watched as Aerdan lined himself up and pushed into her. His face went slack, his mouth opening, and a slight gasp huffed out. His second cock was out of sight, no doubt, as he rocked back and forth to fully seat himself. It moved through her folds, teasing her clit.
Bedvir knelt on the side of the bed and, reaching over, he took hold of the plug and vrokked her with it in the same rhythm Aerdan was using to vrok her.
Danielle whimpered and moaned which just encouraged Aerdan to go quicker.
With his free hand, Bedvir fisted his lower cock and worked himself. When he looked down, he saw Danielle watching. He smiled, and when she opened her mouth, he fed it into her. He quickly switched to his upper cock and matched her rhythm as she worked up and down his length, making sure it was out of her way and out of his way so he could watch her mouth stretched obscenely around his lower cock.
On her other side, Danielle was working a fist over Haddis’s lower cock and he was holding the other away from her.
Danielle switched even before Bedvir had intended on telling her to. Fisting his cock and sucking on Haddis who groaned loudly in response.
In this way, she played with both of them and both of their cocks. Aerdan was alternating between his own and had taken over manipulating the plug.
There was no such thing as a quickie to the Temerin. Making love should last hours. Orgasms should be multiple and they were. Danielle came around Aerdan’s cocks three times before he finally finished inside her, once, then the second time a couple of madith later at the same time as Haddis spent his lower cock inside her, his hips rocking, his eyes closing as he groaned long and rough.
When he’d cum, Haddis switched, taking Aerdan’s position and vrokking her with his second cock, bringing Danielle to completion another two times before he was suddenly crying out and thrusting deep and hard inside her.
Aerdan had collapsed on the bed, watching Bedvir and Danielle. Haddis went to the bathroom and came back with a cloth. He cleaned her up, rubbing her lower back and telling her how beautiful she was to them. How much he loved her. He disposed of the cloth back in the facilities and then lay down next to Aerdan, watching Bedvir and Danielle as he vrokked her face.
Just as Bedvir fantasised, her eyes were locked onto him, full of want and desire.
Reaching down, Bedvir manipulated the plug. When Danielle reached between her legs, Aerdan removed her hand, and, taking the opportunity of the gap between her and the bed, he went back to tonguing her clit.
Their eyes locked, Bedvir felt his control slipping. Wanted it to slip. Felt the lightning strike of frenzy shoot down his spine. He came hard and quick, his pace and thrusts increasing in speed and power before coming to a jerky stop. Danielle took his second cock and sucked it into her mouth. Aerdan was gripping Danielle’s hips, his fingers kneading into her flesh and whatever he was doing, Danielle came hard, screaming around his cock. With a handful of thrusts, Bedvir hissed as he felt himself spasm and cum inside her for the second time.
Danielle collapsed onto her side, gasping for breath, her body on top of, and entwined with, Aerdan. Haddis moved to her side and stroked her face and still her eyes never left Bedvir.
Bedvir sat heavily on the bed, feeling his knees shake in warning that they were checking out and he’d have to find another means of support. Collapsing so that he was face to face with Danielle, he found he didn’t much care.
‘Wicked female, bringing those things into our bed.’
‘A girls gotta do… what a girl’s gotta do,’ Danielle said through heavy breaths. Her shoulders seemed to shrug, but it was a lazy, half-hearted affair.
‘I am not going to let you get away with it,’ Bedvir promised. ‘I am going to vrok that little hole, and you’re going to take Aerdan or Haddis here,’ he rubbed his thumb over her cunt, ‘at the same time, ‘and the other one is here,’ he fingered her lips.
Danielle grinned. ‘That’s the plan,’ she said, then bit her lip, her face turning red.
‘No shame,’ Bedvir stroked her face. ‘This is a beautiful thing, between consenting adults. No shame, my love.’
Danielle’s eyes widened slightly, before her face became an impassive mask. Bedvir knew why almost immediately, he’d never said the words to her, he realised. ‘I love you, Danielle,’ he reassured her. ‘I have since I sat down to breakfast with you at the IGC.’
‘I love you, too,’ Aerdan said, stroking her leg.
‘And you know I do,’ Haddis leaned over so that she could see him. ‘I love you.’
The mask slipped from Danielle’s face, and a small sob broke free from her lips. ‘I love you too,’ she said to Haddis. She looked at Aerdan and Bedvir. ‘I love you all, so much.’
Bedvir smiled, letting her see everything she meant to him. ‘You belong to us,’ he vowed. ‘We’ll never let you go.’
‘Or let you go without making love to you for so long,’ Aerdan said. ‘I’m not quite sure how we managed that. But I fear I’m unwilling to go through it again. Especially after that and with the promise of…’ he trailed off, but when Danielle hissed, Bedvir looked down and saw Aerdan was thumbing her rear. ‘That is going to be spectacular.’
Bedvir silently agreed. Danielle’s eyes were growing heavy. He signalled to Aerdan and Haddis and the room went quiet. With a verbal command, it also got darker, and together the four of them slipped into sleep.
True to Aerdan’s word, they fell back into a normal routine, which included a healthy sex life. Surprisingly, to Danielle, Bedvir didn’t like the idea of her walking around with a plug all the time, so they only brought them out when they were all together. Every day, he got her more and more used to the feel of a larger size inside her and closer to the day when they could all be together with her at the same time.
The thought excited her far more than she was willing to admit.
Haddis continued scanning her on a regular basis and sending the results to Tevin. One day, he gasped and left the room without talking to her. Danielle tried not to freak out, but finally after almost an hour, she went hunting for him only to find him on the bridge talking to Tevin, who was in the middle of confirming she was carrying twins.
Danielle stopped in the doorway and reached down to her stomach. She was showing now that she was only just ten weeks, and the small bump she’d had from around eight weeks had slightly rounded and grown. Together they broke the news to Aerdan and Bedvir. Aerdan had gripped her so tightly she was almost convinced the twins would feel their father holding them.
She knew why now. She’d brought up Haddis and Bedvir’s families a few weeks ago. She was afraid that Aerdan hadn’t gone to any effort to introduce her to his mita and was afraid he was ashamed of her. That’s when it all came out. The Bentari invasion. His mita were small, and the Bentari thought killing them would assure their domination. His twins were the first of his mita to be born since that day and Danielle prayed to any and every god in any heaven that they would take strongly after their father, inheriting his markings and passing them down to their own children someday.
The guys had become obsessed with touching her every time she was near them, and they never left her alone anymore. There was always one of them off duty so that they could keep her company and do any heavy lifting if she needed it. It was both annoying and endearing.
Danielle let out a sigh, feeling the weight of Aerdan’s head rise and fall as she did. He’d taken to falling asleep on her abdomen, listening to the tiny noises her body made and claiming them as the twins.
Aerdan’s hair was down and over the course of the last hour, Danielle had finger combed it all out until it fell in a purple waterfall over her body. It was soft, clean and so be
autiful. She imagined brushing through the twins’ hair someday and always smiled at the images in her mind. Two perfect half-Temerin hybrids, with their father’s colourings. Hopefully his eyes as well. Danielle loved the eyes of her three guys. They were alien and utterly beautiful to her.
‘Aerdan,’ Haddis called into the bedroom a moment before he arrived. He stopped by the door and caught Danielle’s eye. She smiled and with a pat of her hand, invited him onto the bed next to them.
‘I would love to, lathia.’ He sighed, eyeing the spot regretfully. ‘I can’t.’
‘What happened?’ Aerdan asked, still lying on her abdomen.
‘We just got word from Dirvan, he’s found Tolomus and the rendezvous site has been chosen. We have to go set it up.’
Aerdan sighed and sat up. Danielle followed his lead and got up on her knees. She was braiding his hair a moment later.
Over the past few weeks, they’d worked together and fed the plan out to the Temerin who were actively involved in the hunt for Crucible. Now they had to go to work, letting everyone know it was time and what their roles were in the upcoming battle.
‘When we visit Tessa, I want to stop by Addison’s place and get her to teach me more complicated braids,’ Danielle said.
From the corner of her eye, she could see Haddis smiling at her.
‘When we were in the cages, she did all these different, complicated braids to take her mind off everything.’ Danielle swallowed. It wasn’t just the braids she wanted. She wanted to talk to Addison and apologise for how she’d treated her. She had so many people she needed to apologise to. People who’d taken her anger. People who didn’t deserve it. ‘I’m going to have you all in a different braid design, every day.’
‘That’s sounds like a lot of work,’ Aerdan said, turning to face her as she tied his long, long hair off.
‘It does. But it’s good practice for when the kids are older.’ She kissed him, then the two of them rose to their feet and headed to the bridge, Haddis leading the way.

Again, the Temerin proved how efficient they were when they were focused on getting a task done. Within a couple of days of their arrival at Dorrus, the planet where they were setting up the ambush, everything was ready to go.
The last time they’d heard from Dirvan, he was a rote out and Tolomus was in pursuit. With everything ready, they had nothing to do but sit in their ships, observing radio silence and wait for the chase to find them.
That evening, Danielle helped Kentor and Sidha make the final meal of the day. Now, when everyone came down for food, they all wore their hair down, including Sidha and Danielle, whose hair was growing under Aerdan’s attention. Danielle had never had her hair longer than shoulder length, especially once she lived with her grandmother who demanded it was styled and maintained at all times, but it had finally gotten past the ‘too long and irritating’ stage and she was genuinely beginning to love it, particularly on nights like this, when the family were all together and each of her guys had made a point of passing her, kissing her hair, stroking their fingers through it before taking their seat.
If anyone was nervous about the following day, no one mentioned it.
After they’d eaten, the four of them fell into bed together. Throughout the night, each of them made love to her individually. Each was gentle, even Bedvir, though he still directed each movement, each touch until Danielle gasped as she came.
They fell asleep, deliberately putting the morning out of their minds.
Dirvan’s ship, Finagle, was leaving a trail behind him as he entered the system and approached Dorrus. As one of the largest ships in the Temerin fleet, with almost seventy Temerin on board as well as members of several other races, many of whom were Dirvan’s lovers, it must have looked like a grand prize to Tolomus.
Aerdan watched it approaching the planet, Crucible behind it, tracking it like a donta playing with its prey.
Finagle wasn’t putting out any broadcasts yet, but that was by design. The trail was intended to make Tolomus think the ship had pushed itself too far trying to get away from them, that entering the system was an act of desperation and that their broadcasts were down to short wave radio only, meaning that the Temerin they were approaching for help wouldn’t know they were there until Crucible was upon them.
They had it planned to the moment.
‘Come in…’ Dirvan’s voice crackled over the open comm. ‘Can anyone hear us?’ Cracks of static filled the comm. ‘Ship damaged.’ Aerdan held his breath. ‘Systems critical. Crucible incoming!’
Immediately, the void of noise was filled with the panicked calls of Temerin passing the warning on.
Aerdan blanked out the noise and looked down at the system they’d chosen.
They were hovering over the primary moon of the planet Dorrus. Dorrus had three moons, two of them locked in orbit of the primary moon, which was habitable.
‘Kirrakus to base, Kirrakus to base. Crucible incoming. Evacuate, evacuate.’
Kirrakus was a small family cruiser which was, along with a dozen other ships, in orbit of the moon. On the moon was a small, fake colony of Temerin.
With any luck, Tolomus would believe he’d found a secret Temerin colony and had caught them off guard.
‘How long do you need?’ Vodrin, the captain of Kirrakus responded to the panicked cries of the fake colonists.
‘We’re on our way, twenty metri.’
Crucible was less than five metri away. That was enough time for him to open the gaping maw of his landing pad, release his fleet of employees, capture the ships sitting in defence of the planet, and be ready for the colonists as they fled.
‘Crucible’s speeding up,’ Haddis said. He was sitting next to Aerdan on the bridge.
‘They’re falling for it,’ Danielle said. She was standing behind them, leaning against the wall, all nerves, and wide eyes as she watched the screen.
‘Vrok, they’re jumping.’ Haddis’s voice rose and filled with panic.
‘It’s okay,’ Danielle said, walking over to Haddis’s seat and placing a hand on his shoulder. ‘We accounted for it. They do it in the Sol system all the time. Everyone knew this could happen.’
Crucible went into a short, controlled jump and suddenly, they were hanging over the planet, like a vulture waiting for their prey to die.
Immediately, the lower jaw of Crucible opened. A flood of ships appeared, descending on Kirrakus and the other dozen ships they’d placed over the planet as bait.
Within a few moments, the Temerin ships had been tractored and harpooned, and were being towed into the gaping maw of the most notorious slave ship in their sector of the galaxy.
The other ships were heading towards the atmosphere of the planet.
Aerdan stared as Kirrakus was pulled into the ship. Bedvir, Kentor, and Sidha had transferred over to them earlier.
Aerdan prayed to every god in his pantheon that his family would be safe.
Once the ships were on board, Aerdan gave the signal.
Oparus and Montarri launched their own attack. The two ships had been hiding, one in the shadow of the moon, the other on an asteroid they’d placed in orbit. The beams shot out and bathed the area in cronitones. The particles leached power through the amot shells of a ship, draining them in sicri. Crucible, all of the ships inside and most of the contractors working for Tolomus suddenly went dead.
The shield in the hangar bay deactivated, and all of the aliens inside, who’d been approaching the ships to open them, were sucked into the vacuum of space.
Aerdan activated the comm. ‘Now!’
He, and the two dozen ships that had been hiding on the moon where Oparus had attacked from, launched.
The ships that were supposed to be on the ground on the moon, and would have looked that way if Tolomus had scanned for the source of the signal, were actually waiting in cloud cover on the planet. They ascended out of the atmosphere, almost a hundred of them.
Only a half-dozen of the
enemy ships had avoided the cronitone field. Three of them turned around to attack, and the rest disappeared into FTL.
On Crucible, the ships they’d brought on board opened and the Temerin on board, who were in pressure suits, surged into the bay. Some of them were heading for the controls within the bay, a power source with them. The rest, eighty or so, headed to the lift.
A tense few metri passed until, finally, the power in the bay came on and the shield was reactivated.
Outside, the ships had been boarded and subdued. Aerdan wished he could feel bad for the aliens he saw being flushed from the airlock, but they’d made their choice.
Now the fleet headed into Crucible.
By the time Aerdan landed, most of the bay was taken up by Temerin ships.
Danielle stayed at their side as they walked off Compound Errors, boarding Crucible proper.
‘Report,’ Danielle called.
Calid, one of Dirvan’s lovers, turned to her. ‘We have the bridge and its crew. Tolomus is holed up in his quarters, and some Ualhan is giving us trouble, but other than that,’ Calid grinned, ‘and I can’t believe I’m saying this, Crucible is ours.’
Danielle let out a breath that was almost a sob. Aerdan turned, finding Haddis already pulling her into his arms, he walked over and joined in the hug.
‘We did it,’ he whispered reassuringly.
Danielle nodded, then pulled away from them, giving them each a smile. ‘Let’s go get that Fedhith bastard.’
They boarded the lift that took them across Crucible, to the area of the ship where Tolomus and his crew lived.
They heard a voice shouting as they emerged. They followed the noise down the long hallway, rounding a corner to find an Ualhan male standing outside of a door holding a pistol. Several Temerin stood around him, anger on their faces as they each inched towards him.
‘Evanin?’
The Ualhan turned towards Danielle, who’d been the one to speak.
‘You’re Evanin, right?’ She stepped towards him, away from Aerdan and Haddis.
