“I THOUGHT ANNA WAS your fantasy?” The woman behind the desk smirked as she listened to my concerns. “Is Quintin Stone finally going to grow a heart?”

“I don’t know.” I sat down in the chair across from her and tapped my cigar until the embers were extinguished. “I just know that the fantasy isn’t cutting it anymore, Angelina.”

“You understand that we can’t exactly deliver your ex-wife here to service you? We’re limited by what we can emulate.” Angelina tilted her head slightly. “You can have any fantasy you want in the dark, but it’ll never hold up when the lights come on.”

“I know.” I sighed deeply and motioned to the assortment of bottles behind her. “Can I get a drink?”

“Of course.” She snapped her fingers and a woman quickly rushed in to pour my signature drink—whiskey neat.

“Thanks.” I lifted it to my lips as the woman disappeared. “I guess this will be my only real comfort tonight.”

“I’m actually glad you stopped by, because someone showed up here tonight that we weren’t prepared for, but she had one of your cards.” She leaned back in her chair. “I believe her name is Savannah.”

“Ah, yes.” I nodded. “I should have given you more notice, but it was the heat of the moment. She’s suffering. I don’t know exactly what her desires are, but I could tell by the look in her eyes that she was in agony. I’m pretty sure someone broke her heart.”

“An interesting observation.” Angelina smirked and nodded her head. “I guess you want us to fix it?”

“If you can.” I exhaled sharply and sipped my drink again. “She used to be one of my most promising employees, but something inside her got snapped.”

“How do we put that back together? Do you have any suggestions?” She raised her eyebrows in an inquisitive manner.

“I don’t know?” I shrugged and tilted my drink until it was almost empty. “That’s why I’m the client and you run the show. You’re the one that figures this shit out, not me. I’ve given a canvas to paint as you see fit.”

“Then I guess I better get my brushes.” She smiled and nodded in understanding. “Any special requests?”

“Figure out why she’s hurting. Paint over it or draw a better picture. As long as you give me a finished product that looks better than what I have right now, I’ll be happy with the results.” I drained the last drops from my drink and stood up. “But I do want you to keep working on my problem. This placebo shit ain’t cutting it.”

“I’ll see what I can do.” She nodded. “I’ll try to find something that is more accommodating to your needs.”

I didn’t have a lot of hope inside me when I left Angelina’s office. Face-fucking the personification of my ex-wife in a dimly lit room had started to lose the luster it once had. I wasn’t sure there was anything that would be able to fix it. I hoped that Savannah would be able to find the gratification I once found inside the sinful halls of Club Infinite Fantasy. It might not have been able to keep the therapy going in the long run, but it had certainly given me the release I needed after my divorce. She deserved that. She seemed to have been kicked around a lot by the person that broke her heart. I might not have known the full story, but I knew the look in her eyes. They were like a mirror reflecting the same turmoil I had once upon a time.

You deserve something. Anything would be better than your despair. Hopefully you’ll find it here, even if it is only a temporary respite.

I walked back to the VIP area and ordered another drink. All around me, people were chasing the fantasy they desired. Some fantasies were simple. They just wanted someone to hold them after they went to bed with them. Others were more complex. Club Infinite Fantasy catered to everything from the simple to the complex, and it filled in the gaps when you couldn’t quite put a finger on your own desires. I knew there was value in their services, even when they were just a fledgling club trying to carve out a niche. I respected Angelina. She seemed to have a good grasp on everything that was required to make fantasies come to life. I just didn’t know what to do when the fantasy burned out.

Is that her? Is that Savannah?

I had forgotten what she looked like when her eyes weren’t rimmed red from tears. I was used to seeing the broken girl that came to work everyday. I had forgotten how vibrant she was when she still believed in herself. In the midst of Club Infinite Fantasy, she had the same budding curiosity she had when I hired her. I was happy to see that. It meant she had a chance of filling the absence in her soul. I sat down at the edge of the VIP area so I could observe what was going on below me. The only person I cared about was Savannah.

Find your fantasy here, then find your way back to your dreams. I hope you still want them after you have a taste of this place.

I finished my drink and headed back down the stairs. My night was over. The fantasy had run the obstacle course it was meant to endure, but it wasn’t what it used to be. It was starting to become abundantly clear that I had outgrown the thrill. It was a good ride, but the brakes had been on for a while while I tried to hit the gas. I wasn’t sure I would ever be able to find the magic I lost, but it felt like my heart had healed in some capacity. If the bandages weren’t enough, I could always return to the fantasy that kept me going. I just wasn’t sure it would do the trick anymore.

It’s time for me to to try and figure out what is on the other side of my Infinite Fantasy.

  Chapter 3: Savannah

“In there.” The tuxedoed man pointed down the hallway to a black door.

“That’s the VIP suite?” I looked over at him.

“It’s your suite.” He smiled and turned walked back into the main part of the club. “Room 22.”

The place looked clean, and the area he had brought me to appeared to be quiet compared to the rest of the club. I walked past several doors with numbers on them until I got to the one that he said was mine. I opened the doors carefully and when I walked inside, I saw what looked like a very lavish hotel room. The temperature dropped ten degrees. The club had been a little warm, but the room was as cool as my living room. I put my purse on the counter next to the bar and noticed a mini-bar set up next to it. When I walked a little further in, I noticed a bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a make-up counter. It looked like somewhere I could live, but it didn’t really seem to be the kind of place I would expect to see in a club.

Where the hell has Mr. Stone sent me?

I leaned over and pushed on the bed, finding that it was incredibly soft. The comforter spread across it was a pristine shade of white and felt like it was filled with feathers. There was a closet near the bed and when I opened it, mostly of curiosity, I saw several fancy dresses. I leaned in and folded back one of the necklines, finding that they were my size. I walked back to the entrance and saw a note next to the mini-bar that said it was free and I was welcome to help myself. I leaned over and opened the fridge, finding it stocked with various alcoholic drinks, water, and a few different sodas. I picked up a glass and a small bottle of red wine. Before I could pour the drink, there was a knock at the door.

“Hello, Savannah.” I opened the door to see a fairly attractive blonde woman wearing an expensive dress and a huge smile. “My name is Angelina and I run Club Infinite Fantasy. I hope you are finding your accommodations to your liking.”

“Yes, this place is awesome.” I nodded quickly. “I just don’t understand why I’m here.”

“Can I come in?” She motioned towards the door.

“Absolutely.” I pulled the door open and let her walk into the room.

“You are an honored guest at Club Infinite Fantasy. This room is reserved for the next week.” She turned to me with a smile. “But right now, I believe it is time that we explore your fantasies and find a way to mend that broken heart in your chest. Mr. Stone said it is becoming a distraction at work.”

“Yeah.” I swallowed a lump that I felt forming in my throat. “I guess that’s true.”

“Why don’t you come with me? May
I have your cell phone?” She pointed towards my purse.

“I—guess so?” I tilted my head to the side. “Why?”

“It is required to build your profile.” She walked over and opened my purse. “I promise you can have it back whenever you wish.”

“Okay.” I felt hesitation, but I tried not to let it show on my face.

“Have a drink and relax. I’ll be back for you shortly.” She walked towards the door as she spoke.

  Well, when in Rome.

Once Angelina was gone, I poured my drink and took a seat on the bed. The wine was a bit stronger than the stuff I normally drank, but it was incredible tasty. When I went back for a second glass, I decided to check the label so I could buy some of my own. I had a slight chuckle when I saw that it was from the Infinite Fantasies Vineyard. I didn’t think that would be something I found on a shelf. I poured my second glass and walked around the room. The buzz was helpful, but I was also nervous. Everything I had seen made it appear that the club was designed for fulfilling sexual fantasies. I wasn’t sure I was ready for something like that, especially since I had never actually been with a man before. I was willing to see it through, but I was fairly certain the night was going to end with me heading home in disappointment. After about an hour, I heard another knock at the door and I peered through the peephole to see Angelina again.

“We’re ready for you.” She motioned for me to follow as soon as I opened the door.

“Okay.” I nodded and followed behind her cautiously.

Angelina took me down a longer hallway and when we got to the end of it, there was a door that didn’t look anything like the rest. The name on the door said Fantasy Room and it was red instead of black like the others. She pulled the door open and motioned for me to enter. The room was dim and it took a moment for my eyes to adjust. The second they did, I felt hands on my arms. I jerked away out of instinct, but they were stronger than I was. I was taken to a black table covered what appeared to be leather. Before I had a chance to really react, I was scooped up by a pair of the powerful arms and placed on it. They grabbed my arms again and I felt leather cuffs being fastened.

“Hey, okay. Stop! I’m not into this!” I pulled against the cuffs once they were on my wrists and I felt them doing the same to my ankles.

“Relax, Savannah.” Angelina walked up to the table. “This is necessary. I promise we’re not going to hurt you.”

“How about we start with no and finish with me getting the hell out of here!” I tugged on the cuffs, but they were tight.

“This is all about you. Let’s take a look at your profile.” I saw the wall in front of me light up and then an image of Dominic appeared—it was one that I secretly snapped at his wedding.

“This man is your fantasy, no?” Angelina walked around the table as she spoke.

“What, how do you know that?” I looked over at her, feeling a bit of panic in my stomach.

“You have more pictures of him than anyone else. That has to mean something.” She tilted her head. “Besides, you just confirmed it.”

“That’s private.” I pulled against the cuffs again and glared at her. “Besides, he’s married.”

“Is he?” She motioned to the darkness and I saw an outline of a man.

The darkness concealed most of him, but I saw more as he started to emerge wearing nothing but a pair of blue denim jeans. He had large, broad shoulders, a tight stomach, and muscles that looked like mountains. The hairstyle was identical, the silhouette of his face was perfect, and then I saw something that took my breath away. Around the man’s left arm was a dragon tattoo. It was Dominic! I had been with him when he got that tattoo, and it was unique. I sat up, feeling my heart racing in my chest. The shadows hid the man’s face, but everything inside me said it was my best friend.

“Dominic?” I pulled against the cuffs. “Dominic, I don’t know why you’re here, but I promise that I didn’t have anything to do with this.”

“It isn’t him.” Angelina walked over and pulled the man into the light.

“Oh.” The face confirmed it wasn’t Dominic, but he was practically a carbon copy.

“Here at Club Infinite Fantasy, we can give you any fantasy you want, but it will never be perfect. I created this fantasy for you because it is what you’ve craved for a long time, but your profile says this isn’t what you really want.”

“The profile is right.” I nodded. “I don’t want someone that just looks like him.”

“I figured as much.” She pushed the fake-Dominic back into the darkness. “You want him, but you know he’s unavailable. You’d never interfere in his marriage. You even kept your distance after he tied the knot until he reached out to you.”

That’s a lot of personal information she was able to figure out with just my cell phone.

  “Yes.” I nodded apprehensively.

“You’re also not really sure how to date other guys. You’re in your twenties where dates often end with a trip home, yet you’re afraid of that because you’re a virgin.” She let her fingers drag on the leather as she spoke.

“You’re not wrong.” Even the wine wasn’t enough to numb my heart at that point. “I guess I was saving myself for him, as stupid as that sounds.”

“It’s not stupid.” She shook her head back and forth. “In this day and age, it is actually respectable. Innocence isn’t something we normally cater to, but after looking at your profile, I think we have a match for you.”

“A match?” I turned towards her again. “Like, another guy?”

“Yes.” She nodded with a smile forming on her lips. “But it isn’t just one guy.”

“It isn’t?” I raised my eyebrows in surprise. “What do you mean?”

“We’re going to give you a unique opportunity. You’ve spent your life loving the nice guy that you couldn’t have. He was your best friend, and because you’re such a nice girl, you just built up the fantasy that things would work out. You need to let go of that. You need to accept that he’s a part of your past. The man that is the first part of your future is right here.” She motioned to the darkness and a man emerged.

“Hello, Savannah.” A smile spread across his face. “My name is Jedrek. I’m just one piece of your Infinite Fantasy.”

Jedrek was so hot I felt the heat radiating across the room. He was wearing a black leather jacket, but underneath it, I could see the outline of his body. It was trim, muscular, and covered in beautiful tattoos. He had shoulder-length sand colored hair that was more brown than blond, and a wild beard to match. He didn’t look like the kind of guy that anyone would take home to their parents. Unless their parents ran a tattoo shop, sold drugs out of the back, and did shots before they got to work on their latest piece of body art. Mine definitely didn’t. They were good Christians who would probably drag me off to an emergency baptism in holy water if they ever saw me in the vicinity of a guy like him.

“If you’re ready to take a ride.” He stepped forward and started unfastening the leather cuffs on my ankles, letting his fingers drift across my skin. “My motorcycle is parked out front.”

“Motorcycle?” I felt my eyes opening so wide they felt like saucers on my face. “I’ve never ridden on a motorcycle.”

“We’re going to do a lot of things you’ve never done before if you’ll give me a chance.” His dark eyes were mesmerizing as he spoke. “Why don’t you forget about the one that broke your heart and take a chance with me.”

“Do it, Savannah.” Angelina leaned forward and whispered in my ear. “What could possibly hold you back?”

  Everything?

  Chapter 4: Jedrek

“I’ve had it with this shit!” I brought my motorcycle to a grinding halt and threw my helmet the second I put it in park. “This isn’t what the MC is about!”

“You signed up for anything.” The MC president, a rough looking man named Stan, pulled off his helmet as he skidded to a stop. “That’s why you wear the patch.”

  “We’re su
pposed to be legit!” I stepped off my motorcycle and pulled a pack of cigarettes out of my jacket. “You promised me that we were done getting shot at!”

“We’ve made a lot of enemies.” He shrugged his shoulders. “We can’t fix it overnight.”

“Fuck, is that sirens?” I looked towards the gate that surrounded the clubhouse.

“It was only a matter of time.” He reached into the back of his jacket and pulled out a gun. “If we’re going out, let’s go out with a bang that’s deserving of our cut.”

“What good will that do if we’re dead?” I grabbed my shotgun and pumped it. “I’ll follow you to the grave, but this is a mistake.”

“It’s only a mistake if we’re dead.” He started walking towards the sirens with his gun pointed in front of him.

I knew it was the end of the line even before I saw Stan hit the ground with all of the life gone from his eyes. The rest of our brothers came out of the clubhouse and put up a good fight, but we weren’t going to win the war. Bullets ripped through my vest, tore through my body, and left the patch on my back with bloodstains. It was the end of the line for me, and it was the last ride that the Devil’s Favorite Sons would ever take. We had taken things too far, and even if I knew it before the last ride ended, I went down in flames with the rest of my brothers. If death would have come in the form of a grim reaper, I would have accepted my fate. The devil wasn’t done with me yet, though. I still had a lot of miles left on my tires.

  FIVE YEARS LATER

“You’re the last member left, Jedrek. The patch belongs to you.” My lawyer pushed the blood covered patch Stan used to wear across the table.

“What good is this patch if my MC is in hell?” I picked it up and flipped it around in my fingers. “I wanted to wear this one day, but not like this.”

“You could rebuild.” He shrugged and closed his briefcase. “The case is over and you’re in the clear, so whatever you do from here is up to you.”
