“You staying?”
Yeshi lay back on the bed and closed his eyes. “Nah, just resting.”
East smirked before taking his liquor from his hand. A long sip burned her chest before she placed it back on the TV stand.
“I’m not sleepy. Can we go back out on the strip?”
Yeshi opened his eyes and looked at her with a smile on his face. “I’ve got a whole party going on, and I’m here with you.”
East laughed. “So? I’m good company.”
Yeshi sat up and rubbed his hand over his face. “So, you say. Let’s go.”
After changing her shoes and clothes, East was back out of the door with Yeshi. She was sure the night was about to be a long, wild one that she probably wouldn’t remember the next day thanks to her inebriated state, but she was ready. Hopefully, she wouldn’t regret it the next morning.
14.Late Nights, Early Mornings
The muscle in Killian’s jaw twitched as he leaned against the wall of his hotel room with his hands in his pockets. He could use angry to describe the way he was feeling right then, but that wouldn’t be strong enough. Absolutely no word that he’d been pondering all day would do his feelings any justice right then. All night he’d been trying to think himself out of his current mental state, but he couldn’t. No matter how hard he tried.
To make matters worse, East was beautiful as fuck while she slept, and her body was the best part. With only the top of her exposed above the covers, it was hard to tell whether or not she was completely undressed, but what he saw was enough.
The thought of East moaning for another man the way she moaned for him had him dropping his head. Nausea from his mental turmoil only worsened when Yeshi stirred awake. He had been laid across the bottom of the bed, sleeping. Yeshi wiped his hand over his face before nodding his head at Killian once.
“What up?”
Killian shook his head. “Ain’t shit.”
Not really in the mood to talk, Killian looked away before Yeshi said anything else. His eyes roamed around the room before stopping on East. She too was stirring awake. Her eyes were still closed, but she was stretching and yawning. When she finally opened them, she looked straight at him. Killian wasn’t sure if she felt him there or he was just in her line of vision.
“Killian.” She blinked slowly.
“Get up and come let me holla at you real quick.” Killian walked away before she got up.
He walked out of the room and gave her a few minutes to come. He’d thought about standing there and waiting for her, but if she got out of the bed naked, he’d probably hurt her and Yeshi too bad to come back from. Killian leaned on the wall with one leg crossed over the other at the ankle, waiting for her.
It wasn’t long before the door opened, and she came out in tights and t-shirt. She still looked drowsy as she walked in front of him and stopped. Her arms were folded across her chest, and her eyes were focused on his.
“Why Yeshi here with you?” Killian asked lowly.
East’s eyes shifted some, and she ran her hand through her hair. Killian’s eyes bucked, and at the same time, he roughly snatched East’s hand. His eyes narrowed before holding it up.
“The fuck is this?”
East’s eyes went to the shiny ring on her finger before nearly bulging out of her head.
“You married this nigga?”
The stupid look on East’s face set Killian on fire.
“Stop looking fucking dumb, East! Did you or did you not marry this nigga?”

About the Author
I'm Patrice Watts, and I happen to write under the name A’zayler. I am the newly found voice of urban romance at Random House Publishing, as well as the founder and CEO of A’zaylerINK -a domain built upon the core foundations of FAITH, HARD WORK, and the visionary aspects of PERSISTANCE and GOALS.
A native of Columbus Georgia, I've always been a fan of reading but found my passion for writing during my sophomore year in college. Being that I used storytelling as an outlet, I spent a lot of time writing privately. That all changed with the release of my first novel. Now, I allow the world to experience my stories as they're written.
In the year of 2014, I published my first novel, which debuted my immeasurable talent. Thirty plus books later, and with greater plans ahead, I've quickly become an urban romance phenomenon. Greatly inspired by the various writers that have come before me, I have plans to surpass an array of personal expectations while paving the way and leaving my mark in the literary world.
