A Kingpin's Dream 3

I’m not mad at Stacks for getting on Clara, though. She was beautiful and looked better than most women my age. Her eyes were green, like Miracle’s, but were almond shaped. Her hair was cut low and feathered neatly. She was petite, like Miracle, but had larger breasts. You might as well say Ms. Clara was just an older version of Miracle.

“Have you told Miracle or Turk yet?”

“I told Turk when I got on the jet. He said as long as he still gets to fuck with my daughter then he’s good with it. Those were his exact words. God… I don’t know what I’m going to do with that man,” she said as she laughed. “I’m going to tell Miracle when we get back to Chicago. I don’t know how she’s going to react.”

“That is some serious stuff. If you ever got married, Stacks would be considered Miracle’s step father...ugh I don’t even want to think about it,” I said as I laid down on the bed. My head was spinning from this news, and I had a serious headache. All my ass wanted to do right now was sleep. I was happy that we weren’t flying out of the states, because I hated long plane rides.

“Since you’re going to sleep, I guess I will too,” Clara said. She laid down on the small sofa that sat across from the bed. She turned off the lamp that eliminated the room and we were out.

  ADONIS

“Aight, Pops, keep it real. You hitting Ms. Clara?” I asked as I slapped a card down.

“Yeah, Unc, you going balls deep?” Turk added as he slapped another card down.

“No, we just having fun. We can’t have fun?” Pops answered as he threw down three Aces, which meant he won the game. Turk instantly got pissed.

“Man, you always cheating, Unc. Fuck this game, fam.” He said as he threw the rest of his cards down.

“Damn, nigga, will you calm down? It’s just a game,” I said as I busted out laughing.

“Fuck you, man,” he shot back as he downed his drink.

“Alright, boys, let’s get down to business. We should be arriving in LA in about eight hours. We drop the girls off, and let them do them while we handle business. Turk, since you are taking Adonis’ place, the goal is for you to meet the LA cats that we sell to. They’re called The Mexican Mafia. They’re boss is named Roberto. He is the only one that will ever cop from you. We’re taking you to meet him, so that you guys will know each other’s faces.

Once people learn that Adonis and Ramses have stepped down, the states will run ramped with questions of who they’ll cop from next. It’s up to you to make sure they know who the fuck you are, and that you mean business. Managing fifty states ain’t easy, but it has to be done. Once we’re done in LA, the throne will be yours, my boy. You think you got it? You think you can handle it?” Stacks spoke as he stared Turk directly in his eyes.

“Man, you know you and Mula bred us to do this shit. I can handle anything that comes my way.” Turk spoke with confidence. I was pleased with his answer. I knew he could handle it. He showed me time and time again how devoted he was to this operation, so I rewarded him with the throne. Now, since I was about to get married and have kids, it was time for me to step down. Shit, I was about to be thirty-four, I felt as though I ruled long enough. It was time for me to focus on more important things like family.

“Well alright, my nigga, it’s settled. I’m proud of you, boy. Now all you need to do is fix that shit with Miracle. You gon’ get fed up with fucking random bitch’s, son. Those hoes don’t hold any value to your life. Like I said before, ain’t nothing like loyal pussy waiting for you at home when you done had a rough day, my nigga. Claim that pussy before somebody else do,” I said as I puffed on my cigar.

“I’ll claim it as soon as I get back. Since this is the last trip I won’t be as busy, so I’ll be able to actually spend some time with her and make things right. I’ve been in a dozen bitches since me and Miracle fell out, and don’t known of their walls grip my dick like Miracle’s do. We fucked the other night, and I promised you I was about to propose to this girl. I love her with all my heart, fam, it’s time to make shit right,” Turk said as he stared at a picture of him and Miracle on his phone. “I called her earlier, and she ain’t even pick up, though. Kind of pissed off about that shit, bruh,” he continued.

“She’ll come around, my nigga. Just show up at her house when we get back, and she’ll welcome you back with open arms. I promise you,” I said. I stared at the backroom that Briana was occupying.

  BRIANA

“Baby, wake up,” I heard Adonis’ voice as he gently caressed my leg. I rubbed my eyes and saw the love of my life staring back at me. I looked around the plane, and saw that Clara was no longer on the couch she was on when I fell asleep. Sunlight was coming through the window, which meant we made it to LA.

“I’m up, baby,” I smiled as I got up and stretched. I rubbed my stomach, which was something I always did when I woke up. I guess it was my way of letting my boys know that mommy was saying hi. Adonis helped me off of the bed and, I immediately went into the bathroom so I could fix my hygiene. He stayed in the bedroom while I washed my face and brushed my teeth. I heard him asking someone if everything was ready. Then he hung up and joined me in the bathroom.

“You ready, baby?” he asked as he stared at my reflection in the mirror. I nodded my head, and he took my hand and guided me threw the plane. James let the planes door down and the sunlight beamed through. I covered my eyes as we began walking down the plane’s steps.

“Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” Stacks greeted as he handed me a rose. I smiled at him and gave him a hug. He opened the car door for me, and I got in and put my seatbelt on. Seconds later, Adonis joined me and started the car. He handed me a plate with fruit and ice cold water, which I was thankful for because I was already hungry.

“Baby, what are we going to do today?” I asked as I stuffed a pineapple in my mouth.

“Just ride, we’ll be there in no time,” were his last words before he cut the music on.

About 20 minutes later, Adonis made a sharp turn on to a street that was literally riddled with large beautiful mansions. As we drove further my mouth hung low in awe as I took in the beauty and the scenery of the homes. “Baby, they are so beautiful,” I mumbled as I placed my hand in his. He kissed the back of my hand and smiled at me as we continued to drive further up the street.

“I love you, baby,” he said before the car suddenly stopped.

“I love you too,” I smiled as I looked at him punching in a code. The gates in front of us were so big and tall that I couldn’t even see over them, even if I decided to stand on the car. “Whoever lives here must really want their privacy,” I said before the gates began to open. Adonis smirked at me and began to slowly drive in.

I covered my mouth as I looked at the most beautiful mansion, I had ever laid eyes on. In the middle was a circular garden that was cut to perfection with Mr. & Mrs. Smith engraved in it. All of Adonis’ cars, including mine, where lined up perfectly next to the 5 door garage. He looked over at me and wiped the tears that began to fall. “Baby, is this…this is our home?” I stuttered, trying to wrap my mind around how luxurious and beautiful this place was. He smiled at me without saying a word and unlocked the door so that we could get out. As always, he exited the car first and walked over to let me out.

“Let’s go, baby, the realtor is waiting. I want them to show you the house before I have to go,” he said as he helped me out. The realtor walked down the steps with a huge smile plastered on his face.

“You must be Mrs. Smith. You’re beautiful, and I see you brought the kids with you,” he said as he kissed my palm. I looked at Adonis, who shot him a death stare, making the realtor quickly let go of my hand.

“Follow me,” he said as he walked ahead of us avoiding eye contact with Adonis. We followed behind him closely as we walked up the marble steps to the front entrance.

“This Spanish-style estate was originally designed by Paul Williams in 1931 and extensively remodeled and expanded in 2007. With approximately 1.8 acres of usable land,
the house has an open floor plan surrounding the beautiful courtyard fountain and outdoor fireplace. Each room is authentically detailed with exquisite craftsmanship, creating a romantic, timeless feeling throughout.

The downstairs master suite has its own private patio garden and a separate guest suite, also downstairs, has its own outside entry. Upstairs are six additional bedrooms plus a family room. For all exercise needs there is a gym, massage room, and the pool house with its separate BBQ patio area, and a tennis court, which overlooks a stream and path to a secret tea house.

In addition to a majestic living room, there is a two story family room, a state-of-the-art Chef's kitchen, theater room, library, billiards room, and wine cellar. And two separate motor courts round out this exceptional offering.” He finished as we walked into the living room.

“This place is absolutely gorgeous, but how much is it?” I asked.

“Mrs. Smith, this luxurious home is an estimated twenty-five million,” the realtor answered with the largest smile on his face. I turned around and looked at Adonis as if he sprouted two damn heads. Twenty-five million on a home? That was more than fucking crazy, in my opinion. He must’ve sensed my mood, because he immediately told the realtor to leave. Once the realtor was completely out of the living room area, I got on his ass.

“Twenty-five million can go towards our kids, Adonis, this house is beautiful. But we don’t need 10 bedrooms,” I whispered.

“Ma, I already have funds put into all my kids’ accounts. More than twenty-five million, I plan on raising all of our kids in this house, so I think it’s perfect. We getting it whether you like it or not. Fuck you mean, we don’t need ten bedrooms? I’m a wolf, ma, we run in packs. We about to have a huge pack running through this mothafucka. I ain’t done with you yet. Twins ain’t enough,” He smirked as he kissed me and walked off. Seconds later he came back with the realtor and stood in front of me.

“So are you and Mr. Smith going to take this home?” the realtor asked.

“Yes, I guess we are, “I answered.

“Great, I will be in the kitchen gathering up my paperwork. I’ll let you two talk and then you can meet me in there, so we can finalize things. Congrats to the both of you.” The realtor walked off, and Adonis walked towards me and rubbed my stomach as he kissed my forehead.

“We need to plan our wedding, because it’s happening next month, ma. I’m not waiting any longer, and the wedding planner is outside waiting for you in the limo that just pulled up. Then I have an interior decorator coming over later, so we can start the boy’s nursery, and also start decorating the house. As soon as the wedding is over, we are moving. The house we’re living in now is already on the market.” He said.

“Baby, it seems like it’s all happening too fast, but I’m ready.” I smiled. We kissed passionately for a second then he walked me outside to the limo. When he opened the door, a short white lady greeted me.

“Come on in, Mrs. Smith, we have to plan the wedding of the century.”

  MIRACLE

  December 18, 2015 (3 weeks later)

“It’s almost Christmas, my love, what would you and Kenneth like,” Donald asked me as we sat in his living room drinking hot cocoa. I stared at him while he turned the TV to ABC’s Twenty-five days of Christmas. Kenneth sat on the floor playing with his train. Although Donald was nice, he definitely wasn’t Turk. I honestly couldn’t even tell you if that was a good or bad thing.

I loved that Donald didn’t know half of the slang I used, he would mainly twist his face up in confusion as he asked me to repeat himself. I also wasn’t afraid to be with him, like I was with Turk. I didn’t have to worry about somebody busting up in my house, trying to get revenge. Most importantly I didn’t have to play games with Donald. As far as I knew I was the only woman he talked to. Hell, if he had someone else on the side then he was damned good at hiding it. The biggest thing I liked about Donald was the fact that he was safe.

“Well, my family and I are going to a cabin. Since I met your family, it’s time to meet mine,” I said as I rested my legs on his lap.

“I wasn’t going to do anything anyway, so I’ll gladly come, my love muffin,” he said as he leaned in and kissed my cheek. I slightly smiled and turned my attention to Kenneth, who sat there ignoring us. He never really talked to Donald, because he loved Turk so much. Turk is bad, Miracle, you can’t go back, I thought to myself as I looked at my surroundings. I had to whisper that to myself about ten times a day, because that’s how much Turk called me. I followed Persia’s advice and never answered his phone calls. It was tearing me up inside, because I missed him dearly, but I had to show him that I wasn’t just a game. I knew he would be at the cabin in a couple days. I was more than ready to let him see that I had moved on with someone he had no control over.

“Well, then it’s settled. You’ll drive down to the Ozarks and meet me there.”

“You and Kenneth aren’t driving with me?”

“No, I’m afraid not. I’m riding with my family,” I said getting annoyed with him already.

“Why can’t I ride with your family, love muffin?”

Nigga, you’re lucky you even going, please don’t push it, I thought as I stared at him. “It’s not enough room in the car, Donald.” I said. When he didn’t say anything else I was relieved. I hated driving anywhere with him, because his ass constantly played that loud ass, annoying ass opera music. If he rode in the truck with us, I’m pretty damn sure Adonis or Ramses would kill him for talking their damn ear off, and like I said before I didn’t want to be responsible for anybody’s death.

“Mommy, I want to go home,” Kenneth said as he looked at me. Hell, I did too. I was getting more and more annoyed with Donald, so I guess it was best for me to leave before we had an argument. Every time we argued I always won, he never argued back. It was like I was arguing with my damn self. At least Turk argued back.

Sitting back and thinking about Donald, I realized that I was using this man only to get over Turk. Meanwhile, I was comparing him to Turk, which meant I wasn’t over him at all. I exhaled and immediately got up to get my purse, so that I could leave. Donald began to follow me, which I also hated. It was like this nigga didn’t know what space meant.

“Oh, love muffin, you can’t leave, you promised me that I would be able to have intercourse with you today.”

I cringed when he called me loved muffin, and I cringed even more when he mentioned us having sex. I ain’t gon’ lie, I did promise him sex, but I quickly changed my mind when he pulled out the shrimp he called his dick. I grabbed my purse and headed towards the door with Kenneth’s hand in mine. I promised myself that I would no longer fuck with Donald after the Christmas getaway. As a matter of fact, I’m sure Turk would be begging to take me back after the Christmas getaway, so there was no point in keeping in contact with Donald.

“Donald, I think I got my period today. Plus my son is with me, so no I will not have sex with you. Maybe another time, I’ll see you when we go to the Ozarks,” I said as I began walking off. I picked Kenneth up, because it was snowing and I didn’t want him to fall.

“Ok, my sugar plum, text me when you’ve made it home safely.”

Once I strapped Kenneth in his car seat, I got into the driver’s side and made my way to Briana’s house. Since she was moving soon, I wanted to spend as much time with her as possible. I was sad because she and Persia were leaving me, along with Grams and I was going to be stuck here in Chicago while they enjoyed sunny LA. Part of me wanted to make up with Turk so that he could move me there as well.

Since Donald was filthy, well his parents were, they bought him a house in the same neighborhood Briana and Adonis lived in, so the drive to her house only took a second. I pulled up to the gate and punched in the numbers. “Who is this,” Adonis’ deep voice blared through the speaker.

“It’s, Miracle, let me in it’s cold,” I laughed.

“Oh shit, you came at a bad time, ma. Turk’s here,” he said as the large
gates began to open. I exhaled as I slowly pulled into the gate. I was happy to see him, because Kenneth and I hadn’t seen him in weeks, but I definitely didn’t want to hear his mouth about me ignoring him. I placed the car in park and unbuckled my seatbelt. I looked in the mirror and saw Kenneth looking out of the window frantically. I guess when Adonis mentioned Turk’s name his little butt began looking for him. I opened the door and got out then opened my baby’s door to get him out as well.

“Torkkkkk…Torkkkkkkkkkkkk,” Kenneth started to scream. As I placed him in my arms and shut the door, I turned around and saw Turk standing in the doorway. He was looking damned good, he had gained a little weight, and had been working out ferociously because he was stacked. Now Adonis and Ramses wouldn’t be able to call him a little nigga. More tattoos adorned his arms and neck. I said a silent prayer as I walked up the steps, because I still needed to play hard to get. Once we reached the top step, Kenneth jumped out of my arms and into Turk’s. He hugged him so tight that when Turk tried to look him in the face, he struggled trying to get Kenneth’s little arms from around his neck.

“Was sup, Miracle? How you been,” he said as he tickled Kenneth. I watched them interact and my heart instantly split open with all of the emotions I tried to hide. This is how it’s supposed to be, I thought to myself as I caught a tear that threated to fall.

“I’ve been fine, Turk. Just focusing on school, ya know.”

“Want to come in?” he asked as if it were house. He didn’t wait for me to answer him, instead he began walking into the house with Kenneth still laughing in his arms. Briana and Stacks came to the door along with my mother. I twisted my face in confusion when I saw her, because she didn’t tell me she was coming over here.
