Flashing Her Gators

There’s blood on the floor from the smack Sam gave him to the head. It looks like a lot, but I guess it wasn’t enough to slow him down.

“Any chance he’s inside the house?”

Sam shakes his head. “We would have seen him. We were in the living room.”

  “You weren’t watching him?”

“He was out cold,” I explain. “And he was tied to that chair.”

“Well, his car is still out front,” Deputy says, pursing his lips. “So I’m guessing he hasn’t gone far.”

“I’ll help look for him,” Tyler says. “Sam should stay here with Misty.”

He follows Deputy outside, and I remember the gun in his pocket. I relax a little knowing he has that protection against Trip.

“They’ll find him,” Sam tells me, keeping hold of my hand.

  “Maybe we should be helping…”

“You’re a… Well, I guess you’re part gator, Misty, but that doesn’t make you invulnerable. We can’t go chasing after him. You could get hurt.” His expression remains agitated. “I can’t believe he got free.”

“Well, we were a little distracted.” That part feels like a dream. Sam holding me tight while Ty made me come. I still can’t believe that actually happened.

“No more distractions until we catch that fucker.”

He sounds like he’s trying to convince himself of that, rather than laying down the law.

I’m about to attempt to soothe the guilt he’s clearly stewing in when a clicking noise grabs our attention. He turns, and quickly pulls me behind him. Trip is standing in the living room, smirking at us. He has a gun in his hand and his eyes are glowing brighter than ever.

“Thanks for warming her up for me, but you can leave now, Sam.”

My heart rate begins to quicken. I don’t know if his gun is like Ty’s. I don’t know if he could kill Sam if he fires it. My body starts to shake as I realize we might both be about to die. I’ve never been so terrified in my life.

“Don’t do this,” I tell Trip. “Sam has done nothing to you.”

“Ah, but he’s done things to you, Misty and you’re supposed to be mine.”

I swallow the lump that rises in my throat, letting go of Sam’s hand even as he tries to snatch mine back. “Let him go. I’ll accept your claim on me if you agree not to hurt him.”

“Misty, no,” Sam hisses, trying to grab at me as I deftly avoid his reach to get closer to Trip.

Everything hinges on how convincing I can be right now. There’s no getting around it.

He smirks and looks at Sam. “Leave us now,” he snaps, making Sam move with a command.

A light flicks on in my head. He’s like me, not them. A hybrid. That’s why he’s been able to command the gators around town to attack people. I have the same inherent abilities, and according to everything I know about gators, my sex gives those abilities an edge.

“Put the gun down, Trip.” I concentrate as I make my command, visualizing his compliance.

He frowns as he does what I tell him, jerkily and with a scowl. “I do not enjoy games, Misty. That’s something you’re going to have to come to terms with as my mate.”

I laugh. “I don’t know who your mate is, Trip, but it’s not me. For one thing, you disgust me. For another, I’m about ninety-five percent sure you’re my half-brother. Now lie down on the ground with your hands behind your back and stay there until your deputy cuffs you.”

He does as I tell him. I turn to Sam who’s almost out the door.

“Sam, go tell the deputy he needs to come arrest his superior.”

Sam smiles as Trip’s spell breaks. “I’ll be back in a sec.”

I look back at Trip, who’s muttering his annoyance out on the ground at my feet.

  “What’s that?”

“I said I’m not the only hybrid in town, Misty. Sooner or later, one of our brothers will take you out.”

So fickle. He’s gone from being insistent I’m his mate to deciding he wants me dead, and all it took was showing him I can’t be bossed around. “I’m sure I can handle them.”

I step aside when his deputy arrives and I relax as I get into Sam’s car, though a frown crosses my face when I see Justin’s van outside. “Where is Just, anyway?”

  Justin

I’m slowly going out of my mind, leaning on my equipment by the side of a field while Tom continues to blows up my phone with messages about final warnings. He’s pissed that Misty hasn’t called him back yet, threatening both of us if she doesn’t call him back straight away. I delete each message as they come in, waiting impatiently for Ty to let me know Misty’s okay. If I’ve lost my job, I couldn’t care less, but I’m going crazy waiting to see for myself that Misty’s safe.

“She’s totally into you,” Marina tells me, as she gets comfy on the ground. “I think it’s probably obvious, but I figured I should tell you since you seem kind of bummed out or whatever.”

“It’s not as simple as that,” I mutter, wishing it were.

“Oh, right.” She nods. “She’s also into Sam and Ty. I get why that might seem like a problem.”

“Why it might seem like a problem?” I try to understand what she’s hinting at, because she definitely seems to be hinting at something.

“I know she’s a hybrid and you guys are gators. You do know that sometimes shifters take multiple mates, right? It’s a fated thing and it’s pretty prevalent in the shifter world.”

It takes a minute for what she’s telling me to really sink in. My initial reaction is to reject the idea out of hand, but the more I consider it, the more it makes sense. Misty’s eyes changed when she was with all of us at once. After I became a shifter.

“What does that mean for her eyes?” I concentrate on that, because I’m not sure how to deal with the rest. I’m instinctively possessive of Misty, but at the same time I don’t think I have it in me to really resent Sam or Ty. They feel like brothers to me since we bonded as gators.

Marina shrugs. “I’ve heard that goes away once consummation happens with a hybrid’s mates.”

Once she sleeps with all of us, then. I wonder idly if she slept with Sam already. It pains me a little to think about that, but only because I’m still equating it to a rejection. I’m not sure how I feel about it meaning something else. I think I’ll only know once I see her.

“She’s probably fired if she has to wear sunglasses on her segment again tomorrow.” She might already be fired regardless, only time will tell.

Marina smiles knowingly at me. “Then I guess you know what you need to do tonight.”

  Her wink makes me nervous.

“I’ve never really been much for sharing.”

“I’m sure you’ll get used to it,” she tells me. “What’s the alternative?”

I think about that and I know I’m half-way to acceptance. If the alternative is walking away, I don’t think I can.

Turns out, the deputy is Mercy Dahlen’s mate. He asks me to keep Trip from being able to command him on the drive back to the station, promising he’ll have a human officer look after the creep while he’s locked up. He knows as a gator he’s a liability right now, while Trip could command him to do something to set him free.

The story we prepare is a sensational one, and it’s definitely going to forge a new career for one sick of the fluffy stuff reporter. Trip has been training gators to attack people, killing six women in town that he had grudges against. He made a confession based on a command I gave him, and it’s all in the process of being logged and recorded. He doesn’t have an alibi for any of the nights he commanded a gator to kill someone so he’s well and truly screwed.

I found out he used Tyler twice, Sam once, Mercy once and her lover twice. Oh, and Justin was meant to kill Marina, but Ty managed to stop that from happening.

“They called your dad to stop Justin,” Sam tells me on the drive back to my mom’s house.
r />   “My dad?” The gator who knocked up my mother years ago and broke her heart. I shake my head. “I don’t have one of those.”

He glances at me, a tight smile on his face. “I just thought you might want to know. I think he’s gone, but if you’d wanted to meet him, you probably could.”

I think about it and find I have zero desire to meet the idiot. He was never anything to me before and he’s less than nothing to me now. I shake my head. “If he’s anything like Trip, I don’t want to know.”

“Ty wasn’t impressed with him. I didn’t meet him.”

  “I trust Ty’s judgment.”

That makes Sam clear his throat. I wonder if this is where he has second doubts about sharing me with other men. He smiles before he talks. “When you came back here it felt like fate finally giving us another chance. Then I realized you had feelings for Justin and that threw me. I thought it meant I had to fight a little harder to win you over, to take you away from him, but that didn’t really sit right with me. It couldn’t be fate if I had to fight some other guy to be with you, but I couldn’t see you with Justin either. Something was wrong this whole time and I knew it. I’m not saying I’m totally cool with the whole multiple mates deal yet, but things are finally starting to make sense. It didn’t feel wrong when Ty joined us before.”

His tone warms at the end, making me flush. He liked it when Ty walked in on us. I felt it in the way he ground against me. I’d been waiting for him to protest and when he didn’t, I expected the penny to drop later. Once the heat of the moment passed.

“I trust him,” he tells me. “We bonded when we became a congregation.”

“You became a congregation?” I can’t keep the shock out of my tone.

He smiles wryly. “Yeah, that’s kind of what happens when two or more gators induct a human into their world. You didn’t know?”

“That means Justin can’t leave,” I murmur, wondering how he’ll feel about it.

“Well, yeah. He’s kind of stuck here now. I thought you knew.”

I should have. If I’d thought about it beyond saving his life, I would have.

  Tyler

We drop Marina home while Sam takes Misty back to her mom’s house. Which is actually his place now and our best chance at privacy considering the motel room door is busted. It was probably too small and awkward for a mating to happen in anyway. The house will be better.

“Good luck, guys,” Marina says as she jumps out of the van.

“Thanks, but I don’t think we’ll need it,” I call back.

She waves as she heads to her house. I start the engine and realize Justin’s been quiet this whole time. He hasn’t stopped staring out the window. Thinking, I guess.

I clear my throat. “I’ll stop at the motel. We can grab your stuff before we go to Sam’s place.”

“How is this supposed to work?” he asks suddenly, tearing his gaze from the window.

“How is what supposed to work?”

  “This. Us. With Misty.”

I shrug as a frown darkens his face. “I don’t know. I think it just will.”

He doesn’t seem satisfied with my answer, but he doesn’t ask any more questions. If I’d had to place a bet, I would have guessed Sam would have been the one to balk at this situation. But he leaned into it pretty easily.

“Everything will make sense once we’re with her,” I tell Justin, knowing it’s the truth.

Right now, trying to digest the information is driving him crazy. The second he sets his gaze on her, he’ll feel differently.

The motel room door is still busted when we get there. Justin seems embarrassed when he sees it.

“I did this?” he asks, wincing.

  “You weren’t exactly yourself.”

“It wasn’t random,” he says. “I shifted because Trip forced me to.”

“Right,” I tell him. “And he’s going to be locked away for a long time for killing all those people. We don’t need to worry about him anymore.”

It doesn’t ease the guilt of what I know I did. Women lost their lives over that asshole’s decisions. I was used as a weapon against my will. I have blood on my hands even if I was being controlled. I’m going to have to find a way to live with that.

That feels harder than anything we have to figure out with Misty. I’m not worried about our mate. I just can’t wait to see her now that we’ve all arrived at the same conclusion.

Sam immediately decides to finish what we started in that cabin, kissing me before the front door even bangs closed. I welcome his embrace, comforted by his touch. I’m ready to have my mates claim me. I’m ready to claim them as my own.

“I always wanted to have you in front of the fire,” he tells me, breaking the kiss to lead me into the living room. The shades are drawn and the room feels cozy once he lets go for long enough to put on the fake fire. It’s more of a light feature than an actual fire. It’s not like we’re in the middle of Alaska or something. It gives off a warm glow that gives the room a nice atmosphere. He starts to kiss me again and I wonder what will happen once Ty and Justin arrive.

I pull away. “Maybe we should slow down.”

He pushes up the skirt of my dress. “There’s no slowing down now, Misty. We’re mated. You won’t be satisfied until you’ve consummated our claims now. All three of us need to have you. You need us.”

I let him remove my dress and my bra. My panties are already gone, cut off by Ty at the cabin and discarded on the floor. Sam sinks to his knees in front of me, his gaze examining every inch of my body.

“Lay down on the rug,” he tells me, his voice husky.

I step out of my heels, kicking them out of the way. Lying down, I marvel at how quickly he manages to discard his clothes to lie down beside me. “That was fast,” I tell him.

He smiles. “Nothing else we do today will be.”

The sound of the door opening makes me jump. Sam kisses my shoulder.

“Relax, Misty. It’s Ty and Justin.”

My face flushes as Sam puts a hand between my thighs and parts my legs. I hear Ty’s coat fall to the floor. He’s just as quick as Sam is to remove his clothes, and a few seconds later, he’s at my other side, one hand stroking over my stomach lightly as he leans in to kiss my mouth.

I freeze in place waiting to find out if Justin will join us. I’m terrified that he’ll run from this and never look back. When Ty backs away from my lips, I see Justin removing his shirt. His dark eyes hard to read as Ty and Sam hold my thighs apart for him.

“Is this okay, Misty?” Justin asks, his voice husky as he moves over me, brushing the wet tip of his cock through the slick lips of my pussy.

  “It’s better than okay, Justin.”

He takes that as a signal to push inside. I gasp as he fills me, no barrier between us. The instinct to protest flares and dies. I want this. I want him. I’m done protecting myself from these men. I love them and need them.

Justin moves slowly inside me, while Ty and Sam hold me down, stroking my breasts and squeezing my legs and pressing their lips to my shoulders and chest.

“You feel amazing,” Justin whispers, his gaze drifting when Sam’s tongue darts out to flick over my left nipple. I groan and feel Justin thrust a little harder.

I can barely believe what’s happening right now. The shyest guy I’ve ever met is inside me while my other lovers hold me down. It’s incredible, and unbelievable, and I want more. So much more.

“Does anyone have lube?” I ask, my voice breathy as Justin pushes me toward climax, helped by Ty and Sam’s mouths on my breasts.

Sam removes his mouth, his gaze finding mine. “You’re not wet enough?”

His question causes Justin to slow down. I sigh, the wave I was cresting pulling away.

“I want you all at once,” I blurt, making Justin’s face flush and Sam grin, in turn.

“I have lube,” Ty tells me, his expressio
n sly.

Oh my fucking god, he knows. How the hell does he know?

“I want her ass.” Ty stakes his claim, as I feel him stroke his cock against my side.

“Misty will decide who gets her ass,” Sam tells him.

“Ty brought the lube,” I say, shrugging. If Ty knows, I want to see how much he knows. The thought is enough to make me come on Justin’s cock. I shudder as the climax runs through me. Justin pulls out, still rock hard.

I sit up and Sam pulls me to him, kissing me deeply. His hands stroke my ass before he pulls me down onto his straining shaft. “I love the way your ass feels when I touch you.”

I gasp as he grabs it a little harder. Ty moves behind me. I feel his lips on my shoulder before I feel fingers coated in a cool gel pushing at my backdoor. A thrill of anticipation runs through me as he works two fingers inside, slowly and gently. I rock on Sam’s shaft, biting back a moan as I lean forward to give Ty easier access. My breasts press against Sam’s chest, and the sparks of heat my rubbed nipples ignite push me even closer to the edge. My pussy is drenched, and I’m throbbing at the thought of Ty’s long, hard length inside my ass.

“Misty you look like you’re going to pass out,” Sam murmurs, taking my face in his hands. “If this is too much for you…”

“It’s not too much,” I tell him, licking at my lips. “I need more. Seriously, Ty, give me more.”

Ty pushes another lubricated finger inside, and then another. Opening me up so I won’t have trouble taking his thick shaft. I’m shaking with anticipation by the time he pushes the head of his cock against my lubricated hole. The intense shock of pleasure that washes over me as he thrusts inside makes me cry out.

“Misty,” Sam says, concern in his gaze.

“Oh God,” I gasp out, feeling the first flush of a huge climax rushing over me as Ty begins to fuck me, hands reaching out to straighten my body and stroke at my nipples. I come crying out, “Yes! Fucking hell, yes! Fuck my ass harder. Make me take that huge fucking cock!”
