“I have two reasons. One to pay my respect and two, I have a message for you,” he said.
Ace chuckled as he looked around. “With all disrespect, fuck you, ya message, and whoever sent the bitch. Tell that mothafucka if he wanna talk to me about anything to come see me personally,” Ace said. “I ain’t ever dealt with a middle man and I won’t start now.” He finished.
“Dealing with me is the only way as of now,” he said.
“And who the fuck is you?” Ace asked.
“The man who holds the key to ya life in my fuckin’ hand,” he replied. Ace chuckled again.
“I see y’all mothafuckas think that I have gotten soft. Just because I haven’t busted my guns in three years doesn’t mean I forgot how to use one,” Ace said.
“Love will knock you off ya square.”
“Nah, love will only knock weak mothafuckas off their square. It only made me stronger. Shit I didn’t cherish back then, I do now. It made what I did in those streets more manageable.” Ace said. “Now, like I said before, when whomever sent you is man enough to holla at me himself than I’ll talk. Until then, stay the fuck away from me, next time it won’t be so fuckin’ pretty,” he finished as he walked off. “Now pardon my fuckin’ back.”

Ace hopped on the interstate blasting Celebration by Game and Bone Thugs. His mind was heavy once again. Three years ago leaving the game was a must; he knew it was only a matter of time before he was deep back into the same game he had given up years ago. It had felt like a lifetime ago but when Ace thought about it, it wasn’t that long ago at all. With the letter, photos, and mothafuckas following him, Ace knew they were on the verge of waking the sleeping beast. The same beast he had struggled to put away. He just didn’t know what or why. His gut feelings had never stirred him wrong. Ace knew there were plenty of people who he could point the finger to, but that wasn’t something he was gonna do. What’s done in the dark always comes to the light. Ace just hoped everything came to the light before he lost his life.
Ace felt as if he was in a world wind of déjà vu. Sunshine had entered his world of madness and had brought the beauty of living back into him as well. But no matter how hard he tried to separate the two he couldn’t. He had the best of both worlds with Sunshine. A ride or die bitch who loved him. Back then there wasn’t anything more he wanted.
Aaliyah had entered into his life unexpectedly and he had fallen for her already. He didn’t want what happened to Sunshine to happen to her and he was going to do everything in his power to make sure that it didn’t. He wanted to push her away, but he couldn’t. Aaliyah was a breath of fresh air for him.
Ace needed someone to talk to, but whom was the question. When he hung his guns up three years ago, he also left the niggas he banged with alone as well. Not because he didn’t trust them, but because he needed to leave that life in his past altogether.
“Boy.” He thought as he started shaking his head. He didn’t want to involve him, but he needed his opinion in the worst way right now. Ace knew a lot of mothafuckas, but only trusted a selected few. The respect he held in the streets, he had definitely earned. Ace had so much respect that if he ever decided to get drunk and pass out there wasn’t a mothafucka who would attempt to rob him. If anything they would make sure he was okay until he came back to his senses or out of his drunken state of mind.
Chapter 6
Mmmm,” Aaliyah moaned when Ace grabbed the back of her head forcefully and shoved his thick long tongue down her throat; while they kissed he undressed her. When she was naked Ace, picked her up and threw her on the bed, she smiled because she loved it rough and he knew it. They locked eyes as he removed the rest of his clothing. Ace than grabbed her left ankle and flipped her over onto her stomach and pulled her up on all fours, she licked her lips as she anticipated the ride. “Mmmm,” she moaned as he used his snake like tongue to please her from the back.
SLAP! SLAP!
Ace slapped Aaliyah on both her ass checks and she was sure that his handprint would be imbedded there for a while. “Oh shit, Ace, just like that. Lick this pussy,” she moaned as he used his index finger and middle finger to part her lips. As soon as the tip of his thick tongue connected to her swollen and throbbing pearl, her eyes rolled to the back of her head as she rolled her hips in slow motion.
“Shit, just like that,” Aaliyah grunted as she backed her ass up. Ace licked her pearl in slow motion, up and down, side to side, before he wrapped his full lips around it and sucked it as if he was eating a Popsicle on a hot summer day. The more he got into licking her pussy the more she tried getting away, but he held her firmly in place as he made her come.
“Fuck, Amir!” she whimpered as she creamed all over his face. Ace didn’t waste any time, he helped her up, and she wrapped her small hands around his massive dick and stroked him slowly as she licked her lips.
“Awe, fuck, girl,” he moaned with his eyes closed. Aaliyah wrapped her mouth around his dick and massaged his balls. He loved that shit. “Fuck!” He grunted as he grabbed the back of her head. She sucked and stroked him at the same time, slowly until he told her to stop playing games. She smiled because she knew her head game was lethal as fuck. She picked up her pace and didn’t stop until he jumped back.
“Damn girl, you a fuckin’ beast,” he said picking her up. Aaliyah crawled on the bed and stayed on her knees as he stood behind her and entered her from the back.
“Aaaahhhhhh!” She called out as he slid in and out of her tunnel. “Yes!” She said when he grabbed a fist full of her hair and yanked her head back.
Ace wasn’t one of them niggas who had to be all up on the pussy when he fucked, he was well endorsed and knew just how to work his shit. Aaliyah loved being fucked from the back, that was her favorite position. Aaliyah loved being fucked from the back because she loved how she could control the situation and she loved when they smacked her ass and pulled her hair all wild.
Ace grabbed a hold of both of her hips and rammed his dick deep inside. Aaliyah gritted her teeth and moaned as she squeezed her pussy muscles tight pulling him in as deep as she could. When he roughly grabbed her hair and smacked her ass hard, he only turned her on more as she slowly winded her hips into him. She was more than ready for the ride, she loved it.
“You like this rough shit don’t you?” Ace asked as he roughly yanked her head back.
“I fuckin’ love it! Are you gonna fuck me like I love to be fucked and make this pussy cum?” Aaliyah asked.
“How do you want me to fuck you?” Ace asked slow fucking her.
“Hard and long,” she answered. Ace pulled out and rammed his hard dick back inside her over and over again, as she moaned.
“I’m gonna cum, oh fuck! I’m gonna cum all over that big dick!” Aaliyah screamed out as Ace picked up his pace. Ace had her eyes rolling to the back of her head as she threw the pussy back on him. “Oh gosh, please keep fuckin’ me….. Just like that,” she moaned as she rotated her hips.
“The only way you can cum is if you cum all over my dick,” Ace said.
“Shit, I’ll cum wherever you want me to cum,” Aaliyah said. Aaliyah rode his dick until her body took on a life of its own. “Aaaahhh, yes, please don’t stop,” she begged.
Ace smirked when Aaliyah started squirting everywhere. Ace came with Aaliyah this go round. With Aaliyah’s ass still in the air, Ace parted her ass checks and ate her pussy from the back.
“Wake that ass up, ma,” He said smacking her ass. Aaliyah wanted to move, but she couldn’t do a damn thing but lay there and enjoy the tongue action she was receiving. A nigga had never made her cum as hard as Ace had done nor did a nigga ever make her squirt. Ace ate her pussy until she came again. When he was done he lit his blunt and lay back smiling. Ace wasn’t a cocky nigga, but he could be at times.
“Are you good, ma?” He asked with a smirk on his
face. Aaliyah stuck her middle finger up at him. That was the only thing she could manage to do. Her body was still floating on a cloud of its own.
“You haven’t had enough yet?” She shook her head no. Ace watched as she closed her eyes and dosed off.
Ace reached for his ringing phone. “Who is this?” He answered.
“Are you ready to talk?” The male voice asked.
“Is this the mothafucka who sent that little note with my dead wife name on it? Or is this the mothafucka who was at her gravesite?” He asked.
“Does it really matter who you are talking too?”
“Yeah it does because I don’t talk to lap dogs. I only speak to mothafuckin’ generals, niggas in charge,” Ace answered. “I really don’t know what you corny ass niggas want with me or why y’all are even hitting me up. The only thing I gotta say is do what you gotta do. I’m tired of the games. Just make sure all y’all moves are calculated right. Remember we are playing chess not checkers, fuck off my line,” he finished and hung up.
“Fuck wrong with these niggas,” Ace thought as he put the rest of his blunt out. Ace got up to take a shower. Ten minutes later he came out wrapped in a towel. He dried off and dressed in a pair of black True’s jeans, a black tee, and a pair of black Timberland boots. He ran his hands over his waves deciding not to wear one of his snapback fitted caps. He reached into his closet in a shoebox, one he hadn’t touched or opened in three years. It held his Glock 17. Ace loved that gun because it held 17 rounds. He wiped the dust off and admired the gun in his hand. He had bodied a lot of niggas with that Glock and knew the body count was about to go up even more.
Ace looked over at Aaliyah who was sleeping peacefully. He didn’t bother waking her up. He would be back before she got up; he just needed to clear his mind. It was running wild with so many unanswered questions. Ace tucked his gun in his waist band and left the room.
He decided to ride through the city on his YZF-R1 Yamaha Motorcycle. Ace turned the key and his bike came to life. Climbing on it, he took off. The air brushing against his skin felt good, the speed had his heart beating in his chest. The last time he took a ride on his motorcycle was when Sunshine was alive. Ace stopped at a red light and the hairs on the back of his neck stood up.
“We are being followed.” Ace heard Sunshine whisper in his ear. He looked behind him to find a four door Honda Civic easing to a complete stop. Ace had been in the streets long enough to know when something didn’t feel right, it wasn’t right. When the light changed from red to green, Ace turned right. He slowed up and looked behind him to find the same Honda following him. “I don’t know why these niggas think I fell off.” He thought as he turned his bike around to face the Honda.
He watched as the car stopped. Both parties sat there staring each other down. Ace could barely make out the faces behind the glass, but he knew it was two mothafuckas in the car, the driver and his passenger. They honked the horn, but Ace didn’t move as he sat the Glock on his lap. Ace drew his gun and pulled the trigger twice. The two shots he let off went clean through the windshield. The car swerved left to right before crashing into the sidewalk and a fire hydrant.
Ace hopped off his bike and ran up to the car. Ace yanked the door open to find them fighting to get free from their seatbelts. “Why are you stupid mothafuckas following me?” Ace asked as he reached in unhooking the driver’s seatbelt for him. He pulled him out of the car. Ace saw the partner reaching and put two slugs in the side of his head. He watched as brain matter splattered all over the passenger’s window. His body slumped over. Ace turned his attention back to the driver.
“Why were you following me?” Ace asked.
“Fuck you!” He yelled as he rolled around in pain.
“Man up bitch! It’s only an arm wound. You’ll live, pussy,” Ace said. “That’s if you tell me who the fuck sent you.” He finished.
“Like I said before fuck you and suck my dick!” He told Ace as he continued to roll around on the ground. Ace stopped him by stepping on his arm, the same arm he had shot him in.
“Aaaahhhhhh!” He screamed when he landed on his back. Ace aimed his gun at his dick and pulled the trigger.
“Welcome to my world,” Ace said putting a bullet in his head. “It’s too bad you couldn’t stay a little longer to see just how cold my world is.” Ace said as he turned to walk away. He hopped back on his bike and continued about his business. “This is what these mothafuckas wanted? The cold blooded Ace who didn’t give a fuck about life? Well they just got what the fuck they wanted.” Ace thought as he rode off.

Ace pulled up on Shell Road to find it live. An old head he used to run the streets with back in the day lived there. They hadn’t spoken in years and Ace needed someone to talk to. He had lost all ties with anyone he used to run the streets with. Boy had gotten out of the game and was enjoying life with his wife and their two kids. Ace shut his bike off and made his way to the front door. “Ace, Ace is that you?” Keema, Boy’s wife asked as she stood on the porch holding a tray of food.
“It’s me,” Ace replied as he walked her way.
“Boy get over here and give me a hug,” Keema said as she sat the tray down. They embraced. “It’s been years. What brings you back around?” She asked as she took a step back to get a good look at him.
“I was in the area and decided to stop by and I needed to holla at Boy about something,” Ace answered.
“Go on in. Can I get you anything? A beer or something to eat?” She questioned.
“No thanks,” Ace said as he walked inside the house. The music was blaring from the speakers and the house was full of friends and family members. Ace felt as if he was interrupting and was ready to turn back around and try another day. Before he could make up his mind Boy called him out.
“Look what the fuckin’ wind blew in,” Boy said as he approached Ace. They gave each other a pound and brotherly hug. “What brings you this way?” Boy asked.
“An old friend who I need to talk to,” Ace answered as he put his hands in his pocket. Boy could see the worried look on his face.
“Follow me,” Boy said as he walked through the living room and kitchen to the back door. Boy stopped at the fridge and grabbed two beers before walking out the door. Ace followed him and closed the door behind him.
Ace sighed as he ran his hand over his waves.
“I just wanna give my condolences about, Sunshine. I know how you felt about that woman,” Boy said handing Ace a beer and breaking the silence. “How are those babies of yours doing?”
“Thanks,” Ace said taking a sip from his beer. “And they are doing great, growing right before my eyes.”
“What’s on your mind? I know you didn’t come all the way over here after all these years to stare into space,” Boy said.
About two months ago when I was leaving the park with my daughters I found a note sitting under my windshield,” Ace said.
“And what did it say?” Ace reached into his pocket and pulled the note out. He had been carrying it around. He handed it to Boy and watched as he unfolded the small piece of paper and read it.
“Sunshine?” Boy questioned looking from the note to Ace. Ace nodded his head. “Is this some fuckin’ joke?” He questioned again.
“That’s not all,” Ace said as he pulled the two photos of Sunshine out of his back pocket. Boy took the photos from his hand and looked at them.
“Is this some kind of joke?” He asked again looking at Ace. Ace shrugged his shoulders.
“Honestly I don’t know. I’m being followed and I had to body two mothafuckas before I got here,” Ace answered. “I left the game because I lost Sunshine and I have daughters. Boy, I think I’m falling in love again and I’m scared,” he admitted for the first time.
Boy knew shit was serious. He had known Ace for a very long time and he wasn’t
scared of anything in life. Ace was one of the few niggas who really lived by the code of the streets and would die by those same mothafuckin’ codes!
“Boy, I hung my guns up for a mothafuckin’ reason. But I’m starting to feel as if my back is against the wall and you know how real shit gets when your back is against a fuckin’ wall,” Ace said with a crazed look in his eyes. Boy knew that look all too well.
Boy understood completely. He had hung his guns up years ago and thanked god everyday he was able to enjoy life with his wife and kids. It was sad to say that Ace couldn’t do the same. He was forced to leave the streets alone and it was as if he was being forced back into those same streets.
“Don’t sell yourself short, love is a beautiful thing,” Boy said. “Maybe this is your chance at being happy and you already know you must do what you gotta do to protect you and yours,” he finished.
“Ayo Boy, I’ve only know this woman for two months but it feels as if I’ve known her all my life. I’m actually smiling again. I’m just scared of losing her like I lost Sunshine.”
“Ace man, you can’t judge this relationship off of what you and Sunshine had. If it’s gonna work out you gotta let it. Stop second guessing yourself and the decisions you make. Everyone knew how much you loved Sunshine, but she’s gone man. You gotta stop beating yourself up over shit you can’t change,” Boy said. Ace sighed again while running his hand over his face. “You left the streets alone maybe it’s time for you to get reacquainted with them. They want your presence for a reason.”
“I don’t think I’m ready to find out that reason. I’m all my girls have,” Ace said.
“You said you don’t think you’re ready to find out but you are. They called you out and today you answered when you bodied those two mothafuckas,” Boy replied looking Ace in his eyes. If you don’t your girls won’t have anyone.” Ace knew he was right. But was he really ready to jump back into the streets? Was this something he had to do? Or was it something he wanted to do?
