Kyo sits there for quite a few minutes, watching everyone around him have a good time. He shakes his head and is about to get up out of his seat, just until a young man approaches Kyo and takes a seat at the opposite arcade system. Kyo, with a surprised look on his face, quickly looks back at the screen, and sees he has finally found his opponent.
Kyo now has his first arcade game fight. Kyo sets his hand on the joystick and fingers on the red buttons. As the round starts, both players play as if they’ve been playing their whole lives. It appeared to be quite a fearsome fight, but eventually, Kyo wins this fight. 2nd round begins. Again, both players perform like their lives are on the line, but after a close fight, Kyo ends up the victor. People gather around the centered arcade systems to see that Kyo’s won. After the young man gets up off of his seat and walks away, another young man takes his place in a duel with Kyo. From afar, one worker in the arcade shop notices people observing the new arcade system.
“Hey, I think they’re finally taking a liking to that game,” whispers a female co-worker to her male co-worker.
“You’re right…time to shine!” replies the male co-worker, quickly pulling a mic out and heading towards the crowd, “ALRIGHT EVERYONE! MY NAME IS ZERIX, THE MANAGER OF GAMING GLOBAL SHOP, AND IT APPEARS THE TIME HAS COME FOR THE ANNUAL DIAMOND FIGHTER TOURNAMENT!”
“What the shit?” says Kyo, looking to his left and finding Zerix walk over to him with a big smile on his face.
“Young man, what is your name?” says Zerix, putting the mic towards Kyo’s lips.
“…Kyo…Hayashi?” replies a nervous Kyo.
“Kyo Hayashi! You’ve won your first battle in the Diamond Fighter Tournament! Let me tell you now, that if you can withstand a 12-0 record, you will be received $10,000!!” announces Zerix. Everyone in the room was shocked and amazed at the prize set.
“T-Ten thousand?!” says a shocked Kyo.
“That’s right!” replies Zerix with a nod and smile.
Damn…I can get a new bike just with that…! thought Kyo, rubbing his chin and looking up at the ceiling neon lights.
“However, if you end up losing once, the player who you lost to, will be the one to get your money! Make it to 12 wins, and you’ll be certified to get your money, and if you push to even make it to 13 wins, you’ll get a special bonus as well!” announced Zerix. “But right now, if you lose the fight you’re going to participate in next, you will be booted out, and someone will have to join in,”
“No problem! Let’s do this!” shouts Kyo, followed by everyone cheering in the room, ready for the games to begin.
Meanwhile, Shina and friends were away from the arcade room but stopped to see all the commotion going on in there from afar.
“…I swore I just heard Kyo’s name,” says Shina, looking confused.
“Yeah, he’s in that Diamond Fighter Tournament,” replies Zeke.
“Think he’s going to win?” questions Zack.
“He better. Dumbass needs a new bike after playing hero,” says Shina, walking away.
Kyo has now entered in the 2nd fight. The crowd has all gathered and are now in tune with Kyo’s skills. As time passes, Kyo wins the 2nd fight. The crowd cheers as Kyo is now 2-0. A third player quickly enters, and now Kyo is in his 3rd fight.
Time passes once more, and Kyo has ultimately become 3-0 in the tournament.
“Man, this guy plays well!” says one man.
“Yeah, he’s definitely going to breeze through this easy…!” replies another man.
The tournament continues, with Kyo blowing past all his opponents. The more fights he wins, the louder the crowd inside the arcade room gets. Even people away from the arcade room enter to see what all the commotion was about.
The reaction of the people inside the Arcade room has even caused a large hologram monitor to be displayed all over the rest of the mall, making “everyone” see. Shina was in the boutique store shocked at what she was seeing on the monitor. Kyo was now 11-0. Zack and Zeke were in the food court also saw Kyo’s score, as they both dropped their plate of food at what they’ve seen, jaws dropped.
“AAAAAAAND NOW! WE HAVE ARRIVED AT KYO’S FINAL FIGHT! SURELY, HE’S HAD A FEW TOUGH ONES, BUT IF HE WINS THIS NEXT FIGHT, HE WILL WALK AWAY WITH HIS PRIZE MONEY OF $5,000!!!” shouts Zerix on the mic.
Holy shit…! I made it this far…! My hands are fucking shaking… thought Kyo, sweating erratically. Kyo looked over and was shocked to see two attractive young woman sending seducing looks towards him. Kyo quickly looked away blushing as he glued his eyes back to the monitor.
“NOW’S THE CHANCE FOR SOMEONE TO STEAL KYO’S SPOT! IF YOU BEAT THIS TALENTED YOUNG MAN HERE, “YOU’LL” BE THE ONE TO WALK OUT WITH THE CASH! WHO’S GOING TO STOP THIS GUY, HUH?!” shouts Zerix.
Everyone was chatting amongst each other, on who will take up that spot. Kyo sat back with his arms behind his head in a relaxed manner, smirking towards the ladies giving him seductive looks earlier, and the women respond in kind. Just then, someone picks up the seat to challenge Kyo.
“OH! YOU CAME OUT OF NOWHERE! BUT NONETHELESS, THE FIGHT FOR THE MONEY HAS BEGUN!” shouts Zerix.
Everyone roared in cheers as money was now on the line. It was unknown to who Kyo was facing, but as Kyo once again chose the main character Diamond Fighter, it appeared his opponent has chosen Nega Diamond Fighter, an eviler version of the original Diamond Fighter. Kyo looked surprised at his opponent choosing the character, but, he shrugs it off and sets his hands on the controls with a focused look.
The Fight has begun. Kyo looked focused as the fight got very tense, with the intense smashing of the buttons and frantic movement of the joystick from both players, and people cheering on, in time, Kyo wins round 1 with people cheering loudly, even patting Kyo on the shoulder. Kyo relaxes his arms and gets ready for round 2.
Round 2 has begun. Kyo again, sweating, is focused on this fight, with people cheering him on even more. Soon, both Diamond Fighters of low health, but Kyo looks confident to not lose this.
Time to pull off the special combo…! thought Kyo with a smirk.
Before Kyo could pull off the button controls to initiate the combo attack, Nega Diamond Fighter pulls off a magnificent special combo first, defeating Diamond Fighter. Kyo was shocked, as it is now 1-1 in this fight. Everyone roared in cheers as this fight has now gotten down to the core of intensity. Kyo takes a big gulp before cracking his knuckles and setting his hands on the controls, now looking nervous.
It was now the final round. Kyo looked more intense than ever and was smashing his fingers fast on the buttons when the fight began. Everyone in the mall stopped what they were doing to watch this fight as if it was an important event happening.
Once again, both fighters have their health low once again, and Zeric is shouting out who’s going to win this fight, as the fight is nearing its end. Who’s going to walk out with $10,000? Diamond Fighter quickly pulls off his special attack, which Kyo looked on very confident, sure to win, however, his confident face turned into shock, as Nega Diamond Fighter blocked each strike Diamond Fighter pulled out of his special attack. As soon as Diamond Fighter's special attack ended, Nega Diamond Fighter pulled off his own special attack, and unfortunately, Kyo was caught in the attack. Kyo watches in utter shock with his hands sliding off the control board as Nega Diamond Fighter annihilates Diamond Fighter, quickly making Nega Diamond Fighter, the winner. Kyo has lost to reach 12-0. Everyone in the room once again cheered like no other. It clearly looked like the best fight they’ve ever seen. Kyo lets out a sigh and sits back, exhausted while opening and closing his hands.
“OH MAN! PLEASE RELAX EVERYONE! THIS WILL BE UP ONLINE TODAY! IT WILL SURELY GO ON AS ONE OF THE GREATEST VIDEO GAME FIGHTS EVER! BUT NOW WE TURN TO THE WINNER OF $10,000! WHAT IS YOUR NAME SIR?!” announces Zeric, placing his mic towards the winner.
“…Kazuma. Kazuma Ragoshi,” says the winner.
“KAZUMA RAGOSHI HAS WON $10,000, EVERYONE! GIVE IT UP FOR H
IM!” shouts Zerix.
Everyone clapped and cheered for Kazuma Ragoshi, the same Kazuma Ragoshi secretly, as a grave villain to the citizens of Galaxus. Kyo and Kazuma both get up and greet each other by shaking each other’s hands.
“Good job man. Hell of a fight you put me through,” says Kyo with a smile.
“Hey, you’re quite good yourself. Thanks,” replies Kazuma with a smirk and nod.
Kyo quickly waves to everyone, as everyone in the room gives him a round of applause. Kyo walks out the arcade room, and Zeric hands Kazuma a bag full of cash.
“And here we are sir, your prize money!” says Zeric.
“Thank you very much, sir, I appreciate it,” says Kazuma with a smirk, quickly grabbing the bag and walking out…
[Mall Entranceway]
Kyo and friends are heading for the exit door with Kyo, Zack, and Zeke holding many boutique bags for Shina. Shina led the group twirling her car keys, looking disappointed.
“…You were so close Kyo…” says a disappointed Shina.
“Yeah, I was close as fuck…! That guy was good,” replies Kyo.
“Damn Shina you actually paid for all of this?!” says Zeke, struggling to hold on to the bags.
“Yup. Saving money can be worthwhile eventually, unlike you guys spending money every fucking second,” replies Shina, “C’mon boys, move it!”
…I can’t help but have the feeling…that guy had a weird vibe on him for some odd reason… thought Kyo, thinking back when he and Kazuma shook hands and locked eyes. “…Hmm…maybe it’s nothing…”

[Hayashi Residence/ Kyo’s Room]
We arrive into a messy room, with posters of video game characters and gravure models, that belonged to Kyo Hayashi. Kyo was on his bed, which looked neat, glued to the laptop, doing coding work. The Nexus Morpher was also placed beside him, attached with many wires connecting to the laptop. It appears he was focused on working on something for the Nexus Morpher…
[Tojisa City]
In the beautiful, recently reformed city of Tojisa, Michelle, and Kazuma have just walked out of a jewelry store. They both apparently had on new clothes, including Michelle having on new diamonds on her fingers. Kazuma wore a long purple and black coat, black undershirt, long brown baggy pants, and black shoes, with a gold cross necklace. Michelle wore only a silver bra, short blue jeans, and white boots. Michelle also had a bunch of gold bracelets on both of her wrists, a gold necklace, gold earrings, and sunglasses.
“Ahhh, now this is the life I’m talking about!” says a joyful Michelle, “Spending money is such a great feeling in your beating heart! I wonder what we should do next, brother?”
“How about we blow up more cities, fuck with more cops and shit like that,” says Kazuma.
“What? Been there, done that. Bo-ring,” replies Michelle, “Even when we attacked those police officers, the Assassin Enforcers wouldn’t fight us back, remember?”
“Because they got hurt from the explosions, Michelle,” says Kazuma, “If she hadn’t done that, then MAYBE we could’ve got a fair one on one with them,”
“Eh, I guess,” Michelle shrugs.
“…How about we head over to Kamati City and just fuck it up?” suggests Kazuma.
“…Sure, why not I guess. I don’t want to be sitting around being bored anyways,” replies Michelle.
[Dynasty of Spheres H.Q./ Frost Chambers]
In another part of the skyscraper building known as Dynasty of Spheres, we arrive in the Frost Chambers, where there were only clear egg-shaped chamber pods for one person to enter in. There were tons in the room. Although most were empty, two people were inside of them: Arata and Harumi. Both had their eyes closed, naked, and were freezing up, with the degrees reaching -12 degrees Fahrenheit displayed on the small LCD monitor. There was also one word set on the LCD monitor that simply says: Healing.
[Dynasty of Spheres H.Q/ Motakai Noshino’s Office]
Later, Motakai Noshino is on his desk quietly signing papers. In front of him seated was Arata, dressed in all black. Black sweater, long black pants, black combat boots. Arata sat back and quietly watched his brother calmly sign the stack of papers before him.
“……So, how was the Frost Chamber?” questions Motakai, “…Feel better yet?”
“…Felt great, as usual,” replies Arata with a dull look on his face.
“…Ok, why are you here?” asks Motakai, setting his pen down and giving Arata his full undivided attention.
“…First, how’s the process of the upgrade for Xeroz?” asks Arata.
“Well, it’s already finished. Shirley and Kimiko are still working on making more data chips for you and Harumi to use. This data chip is basically your little power up for the time being,” explains Motakai.
“…So, this data chip has to be inserted manually?” questions Arata.
“Yup,” says Motakai with a nod.
“…Now that’s fine and all, but I feel like I need one more thing to make Xeroz whole again,” says Arata.
“…Father’s Raiden Blade, isn’t it?” replies Motakai, sitting back in his comfy black leather chair, “…I know where you’re going with this Arata, but it’s not happening.”
“Why not Motakai? Our land is facing new threats we’ve never seen before! Solar robots are now becoming actual…monsters, and now we have some twins who are even doing more harm to the city than ever before!” says Arata, “I’m ready for this. That Raiden Blade is the true key for Xeroz to become powerful.”
“I’m going to tell you again; The Raiden Blade is a dangerous weapon to wield. It’s the reason our father isn’t here with us today,” replies Motakai with a serious tone. Arata could say only look away in anger.
“…Just give me a chance brother…!” says Arata, looking back at Motakai with a serious look on his face, “I can learn from father’s mistakes, and make use of the Raiden Blade better,”-
“I already told you, Arata, it’s not happening.”-
“Let me make a bet with you, right here and now brother,” says Arata, cutting Motakai off.
“…And what’s that?” asks Motakai.
“Give me the Xeroz morpher and the Raiden Blade. Let me test it out in the simulation field training grounds. Let me at least get a taste of how dangerous it is…” replies Arata.
Motakai sat there quiet and looked into his brother’s eyes, and it appeared Arata was serious about this. Motakai closed his eyes for a moment, before opening them back up again.
“…Alright…I’ll let you get a taste of how powerful that sword is,” says Motakai, getting up and heading for the door. “Oh, you’ll see just how fucking dangerous that thing is…”
Arata smirked as he got up and quickly followed his brother out the room…
[Dynasty of Spheres H.Q./ Simulation Room]
Now in the simulation room, Arata arrives standing still in a massive steel room, with his Xeroz morpher attached to his right wrist. He faces a multitude of large steel one-eyed robots. Motakai is above up in a room with two operators seated at their desks with hologram monitors in front. Motakai has his arms crossed, watching Arata stand there silently.
“…Alright guys, drop the Raiden Blade,” orders Motakai.
“Roger. Proceeding to descend the Raiden Blade,” Says the operator.
Arata hears a noise up above him, but he doesn’t budge one bit. Seconds later, a loud thud is heard, shaking the ground, even startling Arata. Arata looks to his left and finds a very tall steel box next to him. He looks up at it, and down, surprised to find cracks on the steel floor where the box fell.
“…Holy shit…!” says a surprised Arata.
Moments after, the steel box un-boxes itself as the 4 walls of the box crashes to the ground. Arata gazes in amazement at the revelation of the Raiden Blade. A 7-foot tall white, blue steel blade of magnificence.
“…Arata, the Raiden Blade weighs about 50 tons,” says
Motakai through the intercom.
“50 tons…?!” says a shocked Arata.
“Only the operator of the Xeroz can lift that sword up as if it was a feather. No other armored suit can carry it so easily. You can kill someone instantly if you drop it on their head unless they're packing some real armor on them. Hopefully, those two rascals don’t have strong armor to withstand the Raiden Blade. Again, it weighs 50 tons. Swinging it around aimlessly is very dangerous. You need to be very careful about how you perform with it. If I see you fuck up even once, you will never use it again. Understood?” explained Motakai.
“No problem. Enforce, Xeroz!” replies Arata.
Moments later, Arata transforms into his Xeroz battle armor. Arata walks over and grabs the handle of the Raiden Blade, and pulls it off the ground. Arata looks on in amazement at the way he was holding the Raiden Blade.
…My goodness…it’s so light when I hold on to it…! thought Arata. Arata slowly swings the large blade around. Arata could hear a faint noise as Arata swung the blade around.
…It’s like it’s cutting air itself… thought Arata. Arata quickly then prepares himself, pointing the Raiden Blade towards his targets with a serious look on his face.
“…Commence attack,” says Arata.
Arata charges at the large robots and the large robots charge back. Arata quickly stops and takes one horizontal swing with his Raiden Blade towards his targets, and 5 are sliced in half instantly, causing a massive explosion. Arata quickly slides back avoiding the explosion and looks at the Raiden Blade in shock.
