His Prairie Omega Box Set

“Your dad said that? Shoot, never knew it was that serious.” Jake’s eyes were wide with surprise. An old style farmer, Edward Daniels never missed out on an opportunity to get his hands dirty in the fields.
Kyle continued to stroke the Alpha’s arm softly while he watched the pair of them sweetly bond.
“I mean, I’d rather Tyler know that he has a strong family, a happy home, and two loving daddies rather than two stressed out and pissy parents who worked themselves into stress and anxiety just so that they could pay the mortgage off a few years early. I know that it sounds cliché, but I want to work to live, not live to work. We’ll probably always have some kind of debt, or bill, or payment due just around the corner, but Tyler Edward’s only going to grow up once.”
“Yeah, I get that.” Jake nodded softly.
“…and I’ve already made good friends with the staff at Shale River General, and I promise that the second my year is up, I can start applying there if that’s what we want.” The Omega spoke a little faster; his nervous defensiveness was perhaps due to the thought that one day, he’d have to abandon his daily routine with Tyler Edward and head back to work.
Jake gave him a quizzical look. “Oh, shoot, I’m wavin’ the white flag, bud. You’ve summed it up perfectly. I mean, I can’t promise that I’m going to be a real treat when the end of the month rolls around and bills are due, and sometimes it feels like we’re trying to swim up a waterfall just to be where we were last month. But you’re right – he’s only going to be a little tyke once and I want to be there for him.”
Kyle smiled a silly grin and gave his Alpha a sweet kiss on the cheek.
After a few blissful moments of his two daddies playing stinky-feets with him, Tyler Edward gave a big, contented yawn.
“You know, you Daniels kids certainly have got a fine way of seein’ things. I know that you always say that Jess was the one with all of the den-mother wisdom, but I’d say that it’s a trait that you both share.” Jake spoke softly to his husband.
Kyle smiled at his loving husband and basked in the glow of his new family. If the past year had taught him anything about maternal wisdom, it was that the Omega only had to slow down and stop fighting it in order to actually hear it. Tyler Edward was fast asleep, so Kyle used this opportunity to sneak in a quick pee break. When he returned he saw his big, proud Alpha daddy fast asleep on the couch, tenderly clutching his three month old bundle of sweetness. Kyle snuggled in, but not close enough to wake either of them.
As he sat upon the couch, the Omega felt as if it were the first time in ages that he’d actually had time to himself. He reached for a cutely stylized den mother’s daily journal that Chelle had gotten him for the puppy-shower. Like always, he went back to read the previous entry to get an idea of how far he’d come. He chuckled that the last entry was a little over three weeks ago.
Written back when a newborn Tyler Edward was still snoozing soundly for most of the day, it perfectly summed up his life.
“Ho. Lee. Fuck. This is hard. Totally psyched that I’m actually a den-mother, but I still cry from time to time? BUT today was better! Not perfect… dad assured me that nobody is… but I’m trying, Jake’s trying, and Tyler Edward is trying, and that’s all I can ask of any of them. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow will bring, especially with my kick-ass guys at my side. Stay sane sweetie and remember, you deserve all the love that you get!”
The next tale out of Shale River:
Omega’s Healing Hands
Danny McEwan is a hotshot Alpha just weeks away from his chance at impressing a scout for the National Hockey League. His talent, and years of hard work ensure that he’ll be called up to the big leagues, but his worst fears are realized when a horrible accident crushes his dreams. Unable to face the pity of loved ones, he finds his new best friend in a fifth of whisky. And nothing, not even a snarky (and hot as hell) physiotherapist is going to tear that bottle out of his hand.
Omega Brad Timmins left his east-coast life behind when he settled in Shale River for work. Life away from his family has been rough, and a forbidden attraction to one of his clients isn't helping. Danny’s muscled form is hard to ignore, but it’s the haunted look in his eyes that claws at Brad’s heart. It’s not just Danny’s gorgeous body that needs a healing touch.
This is the first novella about the Alpha Danny and his Omega Brad. This re-release contains an enemies-to-lovers story line, scenes of love and lust between and Alpha/Omega couple, pregnancy risk, non-shifter mpreg in an Omegaverse world, and handsome country gentlemen in cowboy hats and tight jeans working their hardest for a happy ending.
The full bundle of Omega’s Healing Hands bundle is arriving in late September 2019!
A note from the Author
I’d like to thank you for reading this re-release of some of the tales that have tumbled out of Shale River. It’s really important for indie authors like me to know what our fans think, and what you want to see more of.
