Fallen For A Biker_BWWM Romance Page 18

by Erica A. Davis

Perhaps that was why she took to the idea of going out with Duke so quickly. Danielle knew that her mother only ever wanted what was best for her. For the first time in what felt like ages, Danielle was genuinely excited to go on a date. There wouldn’t be any awkward ‘get-to-know-you’ conversation. Just great company and great food.

It took a full hour to pick out the perfect outfit. A simple a-line dress, stopping just above her knee, and a pair of bright red pumps for a pop of color. It was a classic outfit, and as Danielle looked at herself in the mirror she couldn’t help but appreciate her own body .

Maybe Duke would have a chance to appreciate it later…

She didn’t have to drive to the restaurant, a car came a few minutes before their reservation time to pick her up. Outside the air was starting to get chilly, making Danielle thankful for the shawl that she’d brought with her. She watched as Duke stepped out of the car, looking handsome in a charcoal colored suit and blue tie. His jacket and pants were perfectly tailored: Fitting smoothly over thick planes of muscle. Danielle’s eyes wracked down his body, savoring every inch of him.

Duke chuckled, “You like what you see?”

“It’s a nice suit,” Danielle said as she slid into the car. “Is it Armani?”

“Gucci.” Corrected Duke, as he moved back into the car. “I’m glad you like it.”

As they pulled off into the road, Danielle’s nervous excitement morphed into simple nervousness. In an instant her palms were sweaty and her heart was beating rapidly in her chest. Something about him sitting next to her, so close that she could feel the heat of his body, was doing odd things to hers.

“Calm down,” he said simply. “It’s just food, okay? Don’t get all jittery on me. It’s not like you, Bilson.”

How did he know just what she needed to hear? Danielle grinned back at him, feeling a little bit more at ease.

“What made you pick the restaurant?” She asked, looking over at Duke.

“You had it on one of your lists,” he said with a shrug. “I figured we could both have something we’ve wanted for a while tonight.”

Danielle turned away, her dark hair shimmering in the passing streetlights. “What is it that you want?” She was almost afraid to ask. The intensity in his eyes was too much for her to bear.

“I wanted to take you out.” A smooth hand tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear. “I wanted to,” Duke’s voice was low, nearly a whisper, “I wanted to give you a nice night. It’s been on my mind for a while.”

She turned sharply back to him, eyes wide. “Can we not talk about my birthday tonight?”

“No,” Duke said quickly. “I wanted to take you out ages ago. You always get upset after dates, or even after a few months of seeing the same guy. I just wanted to show you a good time. Have some fun, you know?”

Having fun...exactly what her mother had told her to do.

“Fun is going to dinner at a fancy restaurant?” She asked, not meaning to sound cold, just curious.

“You’ll see,” his face held a knowing smirk. “I may have one or two tricks up my sleeve, Bilson. I’m gonna make you let loose, just watch.”

The driver opened the door a few moments after he’d parked the car. Through the tinted windows, Danielle could see a host of patrons either waiting to be seated, or dining happily. The restaurant was busy, but somehow the staff kept the place from looking chaotic. It was nicely decorated with light colored woods, covered in wispy table cloths. Everything was laid out formally, with rose gold chargers holding up porcelain plates. It was the epitome of a five star restaurant, and if the smells were anything to go by, Danielle would not be leaving hungry.

“Hello,” said the smiling hostess as they entered the restaurant. “Welcome, may I have your name please.”

“Jason Stanwick,” Duke said, drawing a surprised look from Danielle. The hostess looked up their reservation on the tablet attached to the hostess stand.

“Okay, you’re right this way, Mr. Stanwick. Chef Treyon is very excited to cook for you tonight.”

“What did you do?” Whispered Danielle as they were lead out of the dining room, and into a private eating area on the opposite side of the restaurant.

“I figured a little romance wouldn’t hurt. Told them they could use a picture of me on their website…It’s not too much is it?”

No man had ever been so eager to impress her. The feeling made her unease fade all the more. Danielle wrapped one of her arms around his as they walked into the darkened room, enjoying the feel of his skin against hers.

Duke’s face was impassive as he pulled out a chair for her. And didn’t change at all when a waiter brought them a bottle of wine.

“Did you do all this?” Danielle asked, motioning to the strings of tea lights, and flowers that decorated the room.

He looked up from his wine glass to glance around, “I told them I wanted something nice and private. The restaurant took it from there.”

The next thing brought out to them wasn’t food, as Danielle had expected, instead it was small glasses filled with different whiskeys. Each one was aged differently, or had some form of added bitters. Danielle looked down at her favorite indulgence with a face full of shock.

“So, you’re trying to get me drunk again,” She said, picking up one of the glasses and taking a sip. “This might work.”

  Duke grinned.

She didn’t realize they’d stumbled into the couch until she felt the smooth fabric against her back. Duke was all over her, kissing any part of her body he could reach. His hands engulfed her breast, squeezing the nipple in just the way she liked.

“Oh, fuck, Duke,” Danielle moaned into the side of his head as he freed one of her breast. His lips clamped over her hard bud, and the pressure of his mouth was so, so good. She could feel his hardness against her thigh. His cock was rigid when she reached down to take it in her hand. The weight felt good, the resulting extra pressure on her breast felt even better.

“Soon,” his husky voice was enough to soak her panties for the umpteenth time that night. Danielle sighed as Duke’s head disappeared between her legs. Warm breath tickled against her thighs, just before she felt his lips on her clit. The contact so sudden that her back arched up and off the couch, Danielle cried out against the hot waves of pleasure spiking through her. His tongue laved against the ball of nerves, hot and demanding. He knew exactly what to do with his mouth. A little sucking pressure, a few long luscious swipes of his tongue. Then to top it all off, three fingers right inside her, crooked so they glided past her G-spot with every move of his hand.

Danielle had one hand clawed in his hair, the other held on to the back of the couch for dear life.

“Fuck right there,” she hissed when his fingers twisted inside her. She was so wet that she could hear her juices, that coupled with the appreciative sounds coming from him had her gyrating her hips to meet his tongue. Fuck, this was better than she’d fantasized about. Duke seemed to know her body, every erogenous zone, every curve. Danielle was more than sure that he was worshiping her with his tongue, hoping to draw out every drop of pleasure that he could.

Duke raised his head, licking his lips as his eyes met hers. “Do you want me to make you cum like this?” He asked, lips turning up into a grin as he flexed his fingers again. “I’m going to make you feel so good, Danielle.” And then he dived back down, his mouth making a fire start to burn in her belly. Her hips bucked wildly as his tongue and fingers really got to work. Duke worked around her clit, drawing out her orgasm slowly. Danielle knew if he didn’t touch it soon she would burst, her cries started to blending into one.

Duke gripped her ass tightly, pulling her more firmly onto his mouth. He was fucking her with his tongue when she came: he could feel her tighten, just in enough time to give her clit one hard suck.

“Shit,” Danielle hissed through her teeth as the orgasm rocked through her body. He was laughing
lightly when he moved up her body to capture her mouth. The taste of herself on his lips was intoxicating. A drugging pull that had her kissing him right back.

Before she knew what was happening, she was bent over the coffee table. Duke made quick work of the dress, slapping her ass hard as he threw it to the floor. A moment later, Danielle felt the head of his dick at her entrance. He teased her with it, stroking his cock up and down, gently rubbing the head against her clit.

“Do you want me?” He asked, lips pressed against her ear. Danielle moaned in response. That was all she could get out. She’d never wanted anyone so much in her life.

It seemed to be all of the response that he needed. He slipped his cock inside of her, every inch bringing forth labored moans of pleasure. He was bigger than she’d assumed and trying to fit him inside of her was a challenge. Her hips writhed and twisted as he filled her up. Her fingers gripped the table as moans poured from her lips. He took his time, went slow, until her breathing evened out, until her body relaxed around him.

Then he changed. Duke thrust inside of her, the action making her cry out loudly. His heavy hands gripped her hips, fingers pressing into her flesh. He raised a hand, slapped it against her ass as she moaned deeply, the moan almost turning into a growl. That seemed to turn him on even more. His hands gripped her breasts, fingers rolling over her nipples, pinching them. Danielle’s mouth slipped open, her head tilted back. She could feel her pussy spasm around him, clenching his cock as she trembled.

Duke wasn’t done with her though. He sat on the couch and pulled her into his lap. Danielle was in a frenzy as she settled onto his cock, wiggled her hips. Her hands gripped his strong thighs as she began to rise and fall on him, her hips twisting with every movement. Her head fell back once more and his hand tangled into her hair. He pulled her back, kissed her neck, bit at her collarbone. Heat swept over her body as her legs shook. She was moaning out his name, cumming again and again as he continued to thrust up into her.

Finally, he seemed at his limits as well. Duke laid her on the couch before he thrust into her hard. She wrapped her legs around his waist, moaned as her arms wrapped around his neck. She could already feel another wave of orgasm coming. Her breathing was heavy as his breath caressed her ear. Every moan that escaped his lips made her toes curl until she was sure that she could hold on no longer. He groaned deeply in her ear, buried himself inside of her deeply. The orgasm washed over her as she felt him fill her with his cum.

They lay like that for a while, both too exhausted to move or speak. Danielle had sobered up a bit by now and she was wondering what she’d just let happen. She tapped Duke’s arm three times.

  “Duke,” she whispered.

  “Yeah?” He mumbled back.

  “You’re crushing me.”

Duke laughed as he pushed himself up. She could see the grin on his face from the faint light glowing in the next room. “Sorry. I forget my own size.”

“No way in hell that’s possible,” she said with a laugh.

Danielle tried to get up, but he put his arm around her waist. He pulled her back down to the couch, wrapped his muscled arms around her. She glanced up at him. Her heart began to thud away in her chest. She knew the feeling all too well, even if it had been some time since she’d been intimate with someone.

  “Stop overthinking it,” Duke mumbled.

  “What do you mean?”

“Just enjoy the moment, Bilson…” Duke said, his lips drawing a searing line down her neck. “Fuckin’ relax,” he nipped playfully at the shell of her ear, drawing a surprised yelp from her. “Or I’m going to have to make you.”

Danielle raised an eyebrow. “And how exactly would you make me?”

“Is that round two I hear?” He whispered against her neck.

She shook her head quickly. “Nope, absolutely not. Well…” she trailed off.

  “You’re insatiable.”

Danielle found herself giggling as he gripped her waist again. When was the last time that had happened? She lost all trains of thought as Duke slipped a hand between her thighs. It was going to be a very long night.

  Chapter 4

“I’m such an idiot,” Danielle groaned as her head lay on her desk.

“Would you relax?” Jordan said, rolling his eyes. “You had fun, didn’t you?”

Danielle groaned louder. That wasn’t the point. She opened one eye to glance at Jordan. The man was staring down at her, making her feel even more guilty. How could she have let it happen? Being so reckless like that? She thought about her mom’s words. That probably helped her in her horrible decision making.

“You need to calm down before you have a panic attack. You know what this is, don’t you?”

  “Enlighten me,” Danielle grumbled.

“You’re just losing it because something happened that you didn’t have complete control over. What’s so wrong with that? I do reckless shit all of the time.”

“Not reassuring,” Danielle snapped. She sighed. “Sorry, I don’t mean to take it out on you. I know you’re just trying to help. Besides, there’s probably nothing to worry about.”

“There you go,” Jordan said with a smile. “Oh and Duke is on his way over. I forgot to tell you that.”

  “Get out!”

  “Leaving!”

Danielle dropped her head onto the desk again. The thoughts swirling around inside of her head weren’t calmed by Jordan’s words. She was still concerned. Danielle pressed a hand to her belly, ran it over the sleek, purple material of the dress she wore. What if it was already too late? A baby was one thing, but a baby with Duke....

There was a knock on her office door. She called out come in, before she lifted her head from the desk. She shuffled through her papers in search of the newest contracts that needed to be signed and faxed. Briefly, she gazed up.

“Hey,” Duke said with a big grin.

  “Hey,” Danielle said quietly.

She watched as he raised an eyebrow. “Everything okay? I tried calling you yesterday, but your phone was off?”

“Yeah. I had a busy day.”

  Duke sighed. “Okay, what’s wrong?”

Danielle sighed. “What we did the other night-”

“Was amazing, I agree. Go on,” he said quickly when she gave him a serious look.

“Like I was saying, it was great. It just can’t happen again. My boss would kill me if he found out. I love this job. I really, really love my job, Duke.”

Disappointment was written on his face. He pushed a hand through his hair before he stood up. Slowly, he began to nod.

“This is really what you want?”

“Yeah,” Danielle said softly. “This is better for both of us.”

Duke nodded again. A small smile was on his lips, but he still had that same look of disappointment in his eyes. “That’s okay. I was just coming to sign my contracts anyway.”

Danielle wanted to say something else to him, but the words wouldn’t come out of her mouth. She reached for the contracts and passed them to him. He signed them with a flourish before he straightened back up.

“I better get going. I have practice.”

  “Duke,” she said softly.

“I’ll catch up with you later,” he said, waving as he left her office.

Danielle buried her face in her hands. What was she doing? She’d slept with the best player on the team, now she was turning him down. On top of that, she couldn’t get him out of her mind. Not the way his fingers caressed her skin or the way his cologne made her sigh happily every time he was near.

She shook her head, trying to push the thought of him away. There was no time to focus on Duke, not with the busy day ahead of her, she told herself sternly. Danielle switched on her computer, but her mind wandered back to him. The look on his face had almost made her reconsider, but she’d told the truth.

Danielle did what she was best at doing in awkward situations, she avoided him. It
wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t terribly complicated either. Duke, sensing her discomfort, kept his distance as well. Whenever he needed to discuss anything, they did so over the phone or shortly worded texts. He didn’t push her, but she felt guilty all the same. There wasn’t much time to dwell on it, that was the only good part. The last game was fast approaching and Duke was caught up in an endless stream of practices.

The more time passed, the more Danielle’s fears grew. At first it was little things; a strong smell that made her crave something, a familiar taste that she couldn’t handle or a mood swing that came on unexpectedly. She started to panic, really panic. Jordan, against her protests, had set up an appointment for her. Danielle kicked her legs as she sat on the bed, the warmth of the exam room making her feel sleepy. She yawned. There was no amount of sleep that made her feel rested these days.

Nervousness chewed up her insides. Danielle wrapped an arm around her stomach. The smell of whatever cleaner had been used to disinfect the room was bothering her. She shut her eyes. Everything was okay, there was nothing to worry about. She could feel the sleep coming on quickly.

A knock on the door made her pick her head up quickly. A small woman with big, brown eyes came in smiling with a chart in her hand. She shook Danielle’s hand before she settled into her seat.

“Well, it looks like you’re having a baby,” the woman said with a wide grin.

  “What?”

  “You’re pregnant.”

  “You can’t be serious.”

The woman’s smile faded. “Well, yes I am. You’re about,” she checked the file, “a month in now.”

Danielle wasn’t quite sure how to react. On the one hand, she was pregnant! She would have a baby in just eight short months. The thought felt like a relief, but it was mixed with confusion as well. How was she going to tell Duke? Was it going to change anything between them? Of course it was, she thought, how could it not? He was going to be a father. Danielle ran a hand over her belly, lost in her own thoughts.
