Darling Jenny Page 15

by Janet Dailey

'Oh, Logan, I've been such a fool, haven't I?' The corners of her mouth drooped sadly. 'From the first I thought you were nothing but a playboy, then later I was sure you were in love with Sheila.'

'There's never been anyone else for me but you, my silly red-head, darling Jenny,' said Logan, kissing her so thoroughly that when he was done, there was only blissful wonder on her face. 'And very soon to be Jenny Glenn Taylor.'

Jennifer gazed at him, knowing she could never express the rapture in her heart. Instead she whispered as she raised her lips to his, 'Very, very soon.'
