Shoot The Moon (Scorpio Stinger MC Book 6) Page 16

by Jani Kay

Joe was working the pizza dough when we walked in. “Hey, Joe,” Razor greeted.

“Razor! Hey, dude.” Joe seemed genuinely pleased to see us. “The regular?”

“Large ones,” he said, holding up two fingers.

Joe looked behind us. “You got other fellas coming or is it a take-out?”

Razor laughed. “No, just us. Dining in.” He nodded his head toward me. “The little lady is hungry.”

The two men laughed together as if it was the biggest joke on the planet. “I’ll show you,” I said, shaking my head. I could eat a damn horse; a pizza was nothing.

Ten minutes later Joe set two huge boxes in front of us with an amused expression on his face. “Authentic Italian. If your lady eats all of this, she becomes a lifetime free customer of Joe’s.”

  “Hear that, babe?” Razor chuckled.

I opened one box and my eyes widened for a fraction of a second. Fuck me. That pizza could feed a small country—or five very hungry dudes. I took a deep sniff of the aromas, savouring the garlic and basil that floated to my senses.

“This looks great, Joe. And never underestimate a hungry woman.” I grabbed hold of a slice while my mouth watered. Gooey cheese melted over the perfect base. I couldn’t get it into my starved belly fast enough.

“That’s what I like to hear,” Joe said, hanging around and waiting for me to take a bite.

The first mouthful was pure heaven. “Oh, God, this is so good,” I said, closing my eyes as I chewed. “In fact it’s orgasmic.”

Some of the sauce ran down my chin and Razor leaned forward to wipe it off. “Hmmm, good,” I said as I licked it off his finger, watching Razor’s face as I did.

Joe clapped Razor on the back. “Your lady, she is very sensuous. And she likes my pizza.”

“The best pizza in California,” I told Joe, holding up a thumb as I took a second bite. His wide grin was proof that it made him happy to hear that. He returned to the pizza oven and started rolling out more dough. As for me, I kept going, bite after bite after bite until my stomach couldn’t take another morsel.

Razor’s eyes filled with admiration. “Babe, you’ve eaten more than I have. Three quarters of that sized pizza is fucking awesome.”

I drank a few mouthfuls of soda and let out a loud burp.

Razor raised an eyebrow. “You okay?”

“Never been better. Now that was what I call a real pizza,” I said with satisfaction. “Authentic Italian.”

I sat back and wiped my mouth with a napkin. “Just hope I can find a wedding dress that fits after eating all of that.”

A few hours and a lame ass later, Razor pulled into the carpark of the luxe Bellagio Hotel. We got off the bike, removed our helmets, and shook out our legs.

The famous fountains sprayed high into the air and I stood watching for a moment. Razor came up from behind and wrapped me in his arms, his lips warm in my neck as he kissed my skin.

  “I love you, baby.”

I sucked in the hot air, not used to hearing those words. The fountains danced for us as if we were the only two people in the universe.

I turned around in his embrace, and moved my arms up his torso and around his neck, holding my lips up for a kiss. He took what I offered, his tongue invading my mouth while his hands slid to my ass and lifted me off the ground.

“Say it.” The gruffness of his voice couldn’t hide his emotions.

Exhaling a long breath, I closed my eyes and rested my forehead against his.

This was virgin territory for me. It wasn’t something I’d really spoken out loud much in my life simply because there hadn’t been anyone to tell. The words caught in my throat and I swallowed hard.

Taking his face between my palms, I opened my eyes and searched his. What I saw in the depths of his made my heart sing.

“I love you, Razor. I can’t wait to be your wife.”

“Hmmm, it gives me such a kick to hear you say that.”

  “It’s true.”

  “I know.”

  Cocky bastard.

He sucked on my earlobe, sending shockwaves to my pussy.

“Let’s go get our room. I have plans for us tonight. I’m going to eat your pussy and make you scream, then I’ll let you get some rest and tomorrow morning we’ll find you a dress.”

“No,” I said, my gaze squarely on his.

  “No? What do you mean.”

For a moment I contemplated teasing him, but I quickly changed my mind because he’d make me pay for it in the bedroom.

“No, I want to go shopping for my dress alone. You can’t see me until I come down the aisle.”

His mouth hung open. “You don’t believe that bullshit, do you?”

I made big eyes at him. “I’m not taking any chances.”

With his arm around me, he ushered me inside the hotel.

“Once we get to our room, I think we’ll start in the shower. You’re a dirty, dirty girl.” The lust in his tone was undeniable.

I licked my lips. “Hmmm,” I hummed.

There wasn’t going to be much sleep tonight, regardless of what Razor had said earlier.

  30 — Razor

The music blared from distorted speakers and I turned to face the back of the small white chapel. Lexi had insisted that she walked down the aisle by herself. If that made her happy, I wasn’t going to argue.

The doors opened and she stepped inside. The radiant smile on her lips stole my breath away. The dress fit snugly around her sexy curves before kicking out around her legs, and my gaze roamed the length of her and back up again until I met her eyes.

The smooth white skin of her shoulders was bare and she held a bunch of pale pink roses with one red rose in the centre.

Holding my breath, I rocked forward on my feet as I waited for her to come toward me. The music changed to the familiar wedding march. Lexi lifted her dress to take a step down the aisle and I smiled as I saw her choice of footwear. Underneath the designer dress she wore her black leather biker boots. I loved it.

The smile wiped from my face when a few seconds later Lexi stopped dead in her tracks, frozen. The color drained from her cheeks and she bit into her lower lip, chewing it nervously.

Fuck. Is she going to bolt?

My heart pounded in my ears and my knees weakened. If Lexi did a runner I’d be shattered.

The music boomed, but she remained still. I swallowed hard, sweat dripping down my back. I swiped a hand over my face and waited.

I hadn’t prayed since I was a little boy. Those prayers had gone unanswered, so I wasn’t really sure that they’d help at that moment, but there was really nothing else I could think to do.

I held out my hand to her. “Come, Lexi. Come to me, baby,” I said tersely, my arm outstretched and shaking while I watched her, every muscle in my body tense, my stomach knotted into a tight coil.

We’ve come so damn far for it all to fall apart.

She stared at me as if she were in a trance. Her eyes filled with tears, sitting fat on her lashes and threatening to fall onto the naked skin of her chest.

My world was imploding and there wasn’t a fucking thing I could do to stop it.

With wobbly legs, I closed the distance between us. I stood before her and took her right hand into mine, squeezing softly.

“Lexi,” I breathed, trying not to show the panic that swarmed my body. “I. Love. You. Please marry me.”

“Razor?” she whispered, staring up at me from beneath wet lashes, her lower lip quivering.

My voice strained. “It’s okay, I promise.”

She placed her hand in mine. It was cold as ice and trembling.

“Baby,” I said as I rubbed her fingers between mine then brought her hand to my mouth to kiss and bring life back into them. “Come, let’s do this.”

  Her voice faltered. “You sure?”

“Never been more certain of anything in my life. I want you, forever.” I leaned closer so that only she cou
ld hear. “My cock already has your name on it, remember?”

She broke into a brilliant smile. “I remember.”

I hooked her hand into the crook of my arm, holding onto her fingers. “You look stunning.”

She blushed a shade of pink, her cheeks almost matching the roses.

We slowly walked down the aisle, our finger wrapped tightly together.

The celebrant sighed with relief and the frown wiped off her face to be replaced by a smile. She pulled down the corners of her jacket and started reading from the paper she held in her hand.

I didn’t hear a single word she said. There was only one thing I was aware of. Lexi. I couldn’t take my eyes off her. The breathtaking smile was back and her cheeks were still flushed. Our eyes met and held. Bound together by a spell, I only saw her.

The celebrant cleared her throat noisily. “Jessie, I asked you a question.”

I turned my head to look at her. “Call me Razor,” I said, “and what was the question?”

“Do you take Alexis Clarke to be your lawful wife.”

“Lawful or not, the answer is yes.”

“Oh,” she breathed, just a little flustered.

  She turned to Lexi.

“Alexis Clarke, do you take this man, Jessie . . . um, Razor Malone, to be your lawful husband?”

“Hell yeah, I do.” Lexi turned to the woman. “Um . . . can I say something?”

She smiled warmly at Lexi. “Of course.”

Lexi looked down at her hands for a while before lifting her face to mine.

“Razor, you surprise me every single day. You know what you want and I’m so damn happy you want me. I know our journey hasn’t been all that easy. Two misfits who complete one another—who would’ve guessed. But you saw something in me that other people didn’t. You saw beneath the layers, the tattoos. You saw the girl who was hiding under all of that and accepted me as I am, scars and all. You loved me even when I didn’t love myself. It’s the most precious gift you could ever have given me.”

Her eyes glittered and a soft smile left me in awe of her beauty.

“I promise to love you, forever, Razor. Forever is a fucking long time, so you’re stuck with me now.” She swallowed hard. “I’m not sure yet about those babies you want, I’m not going to lie to you, especially not on the day I make my wedding vows to you. But I’m going to try to open my heart and my mind and with your help, maybe one day I’ll be ready to bring a little one into the world and be able to give it all the love it deserves.”

She fell silent for a moment, gripping my hand tighter so that her nails dug into my palms.

“I love you, Razor, like I’ve never loved anyone before. That’s a big deal for me, I just wanted you to know.”

My chest tightened and my throat burned. Fuck, I hadn’t felt like crying since I was a kid. Filled with love and happiness, I grinned like a fucking goofball.

“My turn,” I said, clearing my throat. “I have shit to say, too.” Lexi giggled up at me. I pulled her closer for a kiss first, needing her lips.

  I didn’t wait for the woman’s approval.

“Spitfire, you have no idea how fucking special you are. Just because you don’t fit other people’s definition of normal, doesn’t mean a damn thing. To me you are the world. Fuck no, more than that . . . you are my whole universe. The beginning and the end and everything in between.” I paused to take a breath. I grinned sheepishly. “You are my forever, and I kinda think you know I mean it.”

Her cheeks turned pink and she bit her lower lip. She was thinking of my cock and the tattoo. She got it.

“What makes you so damn special is that you showed me that I’m worth loving. All I’ve wanted for the longest time is to be good enough to be the man for you.”

Her voice was crystal clear. “You are.”

I had more to say. This was serious as fuck and she needed to understand what she was signing up for. I met her gaze and stared hard into her eyes. There was no fucking around about what I needed from her.

“I want you to only have eyes for me, baby. No other man. Not even fucking looking, you got that?”

Without hesitation, she grinned up at me. “I only have eyes for you, my biker. And that’s the truth.”

I believed her. The love radiating from her whole being couldn’t lie.

I dipped her so that she nearly touched the ground. Her arms were firmly around my neck, trusting me to hold her and not let her fall. I kissed the fuck out of her.

“Let’s get back to our room so I can show you exactly how fucking much I love you,” I growled. I had to get her out of that dress as fast as I could because my cock was as desperate as what I was to consummate this union.

“I announce you man and wife, Mr. And Mrs. Malone.”

Lexi clapped her hands and jumped into my arms, her legs around my waist, her heavy biker boots digging into my hips. She clasped my face in her hands and smothered me with kisses.

“We did it, we’re fucking married!”

I laughed, happiness spilling from every fucking cell in my body.

“That’s right, Spitfire. You belong to me now. It’s official.”

She leaned closer and whispered into my ear. “That’s sexy as fuck, biker. I’ve always wanted to belong to somebody, I just didn’t know it before.”

I set her back on her feet, ready to start the celebrations in the privacy of our own room. I planned to show Lexi just how much I’d meant every fucking word I’d spoken.

“Congratulations!” The woman cleared her throat. “Um, before you get too carried away, there is paperwork to sign, then you’re officially married.”

“Let’s get it done,” I said, eager as fuck to get the hell out of the chapel and the black suit I’d hired. “Where are the papers?”

“Back in the office behind that door. Follow me.”

Scooping Lexi into my arms, I let the woman show us to a small room with a table and some papers on it. I set Lexi down, kissing the top of her head before turning my attention to the business at hand.

Both Lexi and I signed on the dotted lines. Finally.

“Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Malone. I just have to say, I’ve married many couples over the years, and I always have a kind of premonition about the chances of it lasting. I think the two of you are a match made in heaven. Maybe you’ll come back to Vegas to renew your vows on your tenth anniversary.”

  “Thanks, but fuck no.”

Both Lexi and Janet’s eyes widened as they stared at me.

I tugged at the tie that was strangling my neck and undid the top button of the black shirt. “That was the first and last time I wore a suit. We’ll celebrate our anniversaries in a more creative way, no clothing required.”

Janet gave me a wink. At least she had a good sense of humor.

Lexi blushed and punched me in the arm.

  “Is that right, biker.”

“Yeah, and next year for our first anniversary, I bet—”

Lexi rolled her eyes. “Oh. My. God. Not another bet.”

I laughed. “I’m a betting man, baby. And a winning man.”

Janet chuckled. “Well, that explains your choice of wedding venue. Vegas is perfect for that.”

“Oh, I’m not interested in that kind of betting. It’s fun but not as much as the kind of bets I like.”

Janet lifted an eyebrow. “Oh? So what were you going to bet?”

I gave her a shit eating grin. “That Lexi’s belly is going to be about to pop with our baby.”

Lexi gasped. “Oh Lord, help me.”

“You know I don’t lose bets, baby. And I’m prepared to put my cock on this one.”

  31 — Lexi

Razor had hired a limo to take me to the chapel and both of us back to the hotel after the ceremony. For once he didn’t insist I ride on the back of the Harley. I could just imagine the sight of me, dressed in the white gown, windswept and my hair stuck to my face as I rode on the back of his bike.

  “This is
nice,” I said, appreciating the space in the ten seater Hummer.

Razor took off the black tie, scrunched it up and shoved it into the jacket pocket.

“You look so damn handsome in this suit.”

“You better have a good look, because I’m not wearing one again.”

“To our daughter’s wedding?” I said with a wicked smile.

His eyes brightened. “Okay, maybe then. If that’s what she wants.”

  “What about what I want?”

“Spitfire, you can have anything you want. Always.”

  “Anything?”

  “Anything.”

“Oh wow, I know just where to start.”

  He lifted an eyebrow. “Yeah?”

I shifted closer to him and lifted my dress, giving him a flash of my naked pussy while straddling his lap.

“Jesus, baby,” he groaned. “No underwear?”

“You told me to not bring any,” I teased as I undid the zipper to the black pants. He was commando, so I let his cock spring free. I rubbed my finger over the head, Spreading the glossy pre-cum over the tip while watching as his eyes nearly rolled back into his head.

“That’s right.” He groaned. “I’m glad to see you obey me.”

  “Always.”

A deep chuckle rumbled from his chest. “Hmmm . . . I doubt that.”

Gripping his hard cock in my fist, I tugged it a few times.

“Enough talking, more fucking.” My lips latched onto his as I impaled myself onto his cock.

“Fuck, that’s so good. So warm and fucking tight. I love your pussy.”

  “Only my pussy?”

“You know the answer to that,” he said as he pushed the top of my dress down to expose my breasts. His mouth covered my nipple and flicked it with his tongue while his other hand squeezed my ass.

“Ahhh, so my pussy and my tits. Maybe my ass. Got it.”

Gripping his shoulders, I raised my body, letting his cock nearly slip out of me. “I want a man who loves all of me.”

His hands went to my hips and held me still. “Christ, don’t get off my cock now.” He opened his eyes and stared at me. “I fucking love every inch of you.” Lust shone from his stormy eyes. “Every. Inch.”
