“Well, he should’ve stuck with us,” Green shrugged his shoulders. “However, what the heck does that mean… wishes will live on…”
“Brother… Cursing!” His little sister said… “You can’t curse! Mommy would be mad at you…”
“sorry little one… Brother has to make sure that wish of there’s doesn’t hurt you… If it does, brother will kick its butt… What do you think Alfred?”
“I don’t know… However, at least we had a good start… Hope it only gets better…”
“It will…” Lacy said, sitting on his other side and wrapping her arm around Veras. “As long as we stick together… I’m sure it might even be better than Prom night…”
“What happened at Prom?” His mother asked, causing Alfred to drop his head in embarrassment. She immediately said “Oh” causing everyone else to get the hint and turn into a fit of laughter.
AS they enjoyed their brief rest, they also enjoyed being on the first of the Guild Rankings. It also lasted for a few minutes though. Another guild passed them as they tried to catch up with their peers. Berks girlfriend even told a few stories about how he used to work in Finance. Not a single person could imagine that inside his brain was an expert mathematician.
It overall was a fun time catching up…. Unfortunately, it couldn’t last forever… Alfred and Green had to make sure to maintain their lead. They also wanted to complete the next Dream dungeon as quickly as possible. Only 5 dream dungeons were available to level 35 players, and they’d have to get to level 45 for the next round.
Vera decided to saddle up this time for a little adventure as Green and Alfred went towards the Transportation Array. As they did, Ernestine appeared with his pours full of sweat. It was odd to see an Old man with such a grim expression…
“Boys… there’s trouble under the city! Come quick before it rises up!”
“What could’ve happened?” Alfred said, “Can’t you see we’re about to go on an adventure!”
“If you don’t come with me right now, there will be no adventure! You don’t understand… Vome with me immediately!”
