“Come on, hon. I want you to ride me now.”

This was it. Randy’s heart pounded as he moved around so he could straddle Jett’s larger body. They stared at each other as Randy lowered himself onto Jett’s cock. The head pushed at his stretched asshole as Jett held his cock in place.

Lowering himself slowly, Randy was surprised how anticipation was building along with pleasure. It was completely unexpected. While he hadn’t believed Jett would be a total nasty beast about it, Randy hadn’t expected it to be so nice, either. He hadn’t expected to enjoy what was happening to him.

Finally bottoming out, Randy let out a long breath and leaned forward to put his hands on Jett’s wide chest. Crisp black hair teased his fingertips. He moved them slightly, sliding his fingers through the whorls, his small fingers on each hand teasing a nipple. The muscles beneath his hands flexed, as did the cock in his ass as Jett moved slightly.

“How are you, honey? Are you doing okay?”

The concern was something else that was unexpected. Had anyone truly ever cared about him? Perhaps someone had before he had begun to sell his body for drugs. The love he felt for Jett swelled. It stole his breath away.

Randy nodded. “Yes, I’m doing okay. I like the way you feel inside me.” He felt full, stretched to the limit.

There didn’t seem to be any rush on Jett’s part. He seemed content for Randy to be completely at ease with what was taking place between them. They were about to do what Randy had thought he would never do again. He had been okay with that, right up until he realized he was in love with Jett.

Strong hands skimmed over his thighs, sending a shiver of pleasure over Randy’s skin. Jett smiled. How could a man be so gorgeous? he wondered.

“I like the way you feel around me. Do you want to try moving a little?”

Nodding, Randy braced his hands on Jett’s chest and his feet on the mattress. He lifted slightly and felt the slide of Jett’s cock from his ass. Then he lowered himself, feeling the touch of Jett’s powerful thighs against his ass as the man cradled him and braced his own feet against the mattress.

As Randy began to ride Jett’s cock, it didn’t take long for the pleasure to finally override his fears and doubts about what they were doing. If he wanted to love Jett completely, then making love with the man was a part of it.

Randy’s cock slapped against Jett’s impressive abs as he bounced enthusiastically on the long, thick cock. He could feel his pleasure building. It began where their bodies were joined and radiated outward. The head of Jett’s cock continued to stroke Randy’s gland. He whimpered and bit down on his lower lip. It wouldn’t be long before he came. From the way Jett was thrusting up into him, Randy guessed he was also close.

With one of Jett’s hands on curving around his hip, and the other now stroking Randy’s cock, he began to feel a near desperation to come. He wanted to see his cum shoot out and land on Jett’s skin.

The heat of their passion blazed over them. Sweat poured down his body.

“Come for me, honey,” Jett commanded softly, his dark eyes intense as they stared at each other. “I want to feel your asshole choke my cock as you fuck me.”

That was it. That was all it took. A little dirty talk and Randy was a goner. His balls clenched and his cum shot out in pearly ropes to land on Jett’s chest and stomach. His asshole tightened like a vise around the base of Jett’s cock as he forced himself down into the cradle of Jett’s pelvis, burying the man’s cock as deeply as he could as he shuddered violently. The swelling of Jett’s cock was all the warning he received. Jett shouted, his body arching off the bed, to jam himself deeply inside Randy’s dark channel.

Randy tried to look at Jett, but all he could see was stars. There were thousands of them. He gasped for breath as his orgasm seemed to go on forever. His fingers curled into the hard wall of muscle beneath them, holding on tight until he felt his body begin to relax.

As he collapsed on Jett’s chest, Randy smiled. He had done it. He had had sex. He had made love, and he didn’t regret it for even a second.

Jett kissed Randy once and rolled away to sit up on the edge of the bed. Randy followed. “Where’s Gemma?” They had showered and returned to bed. At some point Gemma had been allowed into the room and onto the bed, but there was no sign of her now.

“Gemma’s downstairs visiting with Mrs. Green. It seems your landlady bought your dog a couple of presents and she wanted to give them to her.”

“Cool. Mrs. Green is a nice person.”

“She must be. Animals are smart like that. They know good people when they meet them,” Jett said, and their gazes locked.

Randy wasn’t an idiot. He knew what Jett was trying to tell him. Gemma loved Jett, too. The dog always got super excited when Jett arrived, more so than any of the other of the men. The message did what it was supposed to do. Confidence surged through Randy as he got up and headed toward the bathroom. He was no longer the person who had left Florida. The chains had dropped off of him, one by one, as he freed himself from drugs by participating in an intensive addiction program, moved across the country to Silver, and then began making a life for himself here. Every time something positive happened to him another chain fell away. Jett was one of those good things and he was determined to help Randy in every way he could.

After getting dressed, eating breakfast, and playtime with Gemma in the backyard, Randy and Jett went out to the ranch where Jett lived with Snake, Pit Bull, and Bear. They had talked during breakfast, making decisions about their future. Jett would move in with him, so they were getting his things. It didn’t seem like it should be that simple, but it was. Randy was both nervous and excited. He was happy, too, and he wasn’t quite certain what he was supposed to do with it. It wasn’t like he had a lot of experience with happiness.

Peering into the bed of the truck, Randy frowned. “Wow, you have less stuff than I did.”

Jett chuckled, his hand sliding down Randy’s back from his shoulder to his waist. “We were here on a job. Actually, I arrived with less than half of what’s here. I have more in storage in my family’s garage. Now that I’ve decided to live in Silver, I’ll go back, pack it up, and have it shipped here.”

“What kind of stuff is there?” he asked curiously, reaching out to touch what he had learned was a compound bow. The thing was big, black, and scary looking. Did Jett hunt?

“I use that for shooting at targets, not hunting, although I would hunt if it was necessary,” Jett told Randy. “It’s an eclectic collection. I’ll go through it. My mom likes to have yard sales, so I’ll donate some of it to the cause. The rest I’ll ship here. Don’t worry, it won’t take up much room.”

Randy stared at Jett. He was used to moving out of the way, keeping out of the way, and basically allowing himself to be walked all over. It was what his life had been. Before moving into Noah’s and Reagan’s house, he had never known what personal space was, nor had he ever formed any kind of attachments to things. If he had, it had been very early on. Because he had no memory of it, Randy figured he had learned the lesson during his baby years. Basically it boiled down to one thing. If you don’t love it, you can’t be hurt when it’s gone, when it’s taken away from you, or it’s destroyed. Gemma was the first thing he could remember caring about.

Giving Jett a smile, Randy shook his head. “Don’t worry. There’s more than enough room for you to have the things you love.”

Jett bent to kiss Randy, a soft expression on his face. “I love you, hon. Possessions are just as you described them. They’re things. I enjoy having them, but I can easily do without them.”

If Randy could have exploded with happiness, he would have done so at that moment. Melting, he leaned against Jett, knowing as he did so he was probably staring at the man with a goofy expression on his face. He couldn’t help it. Jett was turning Randy into a sentimental kind of person, when he had never been anything of the sort before now.

“Jade’s home today. He’s making lunch and as
ked if we would like to join them.”

Randy nodded. “That would be nice.”

What was he supposed to say? That he wanted to go home and do more kissing and probably a lot of other stuff? Jett would probably be all for that. He grinned. For now, it was lunch with friends. Hot, wild sex could wait until later.

Pit Bull and Bear joined them and they walked together to the main house. Snake and Quinn were already there. Quinn had waved to them as they arrived, before disappearing back inside. They entered a huge kitchen, to find everyone at the kitchen island in the center of the room, picking up plates and serving themselves from a collection of platters and dishes. Randy knew everyone there, although he didn’t know Jade or Stephen as well as he did the others. He had shopped at Jade’s yarn shop a couple of times. Stephen had been there during one of his visits.

“Hi, Randy!” Jade said as he wiped his hands off and hurried between the tall men to greet Randy. He was such a tiny guy. He was cute and sweet, too. Jade had been honest about his father being a terrible human being—one of the worst kinds—but Randy had a difficult time accepting that. Jade was too good. Randy admired the man for wanting everything out in the open from the beginning. That took guts. “I’m glad you decided to join us. Letting the big lug move in with you, huh? Well, we’ll miss him around here.”

Randy took the plate Jade held out. “Come by to visit anytime you like. I’ll be going to school four days a week, but I’ll be home in the evenings, so I guess that means Jett might be there, too,” he finished uncertainly, frowning.

Risking a glance at Jett, he saw that Jett was also frowning. “Where else would I be, hon?”

Shrugging, Randy felt his cheeks heat up. “I don’t know. I’m new to this stuff. I mean, you’re not going to chain yourself to me twenty-four hours a day.”

“No, just nineteen of them.” Jett delivered another kiss, this time on Randy’s nose. His cheeks heated up again, but not from embarrassment. He was getting aroused. His blood was heating up fast and he could feel the tingling all the way down to his toes. “Here, hon, try a piece of this barbeque chicken. The sauce is Stephen’s recipe.” A chicken leg was placed on Randy’s plate. The distraction was welcome. As the scent of the charcoal-cooked chicken wafted into his nostrils his stomach grumbled. “Wow, who made the macaroni salad? It looks fantastic. There’s so much stuff in it.”

“Snake made it,” Quinn announced proudly. “Just wait until you taste it. It’s so yummy!”

“Thank you, Quinn. I can’t wait to try the baked apples you made,” said Snake.

It was nothing short of a feast. Randy supposed it was because the men were so large that they had large appetites. Randy ate until he couldn’t move.

“Quinn, the baked apples were delicious enough on their own. It was almost a crime to serve it with vanilla ice cream.”

The compliment delighted Quinn. Randy was discovering he liked making his friends happy for two reasons. First, it made him feel good, which he guessed was a little selfish. Second, he liked being responsible for making someone happy. It was a simple thing with Quinn. Give the guy a smile and he glowed all day. Randy wished he could be more like that.

Randy sat in the passenger seat and moaned as Jett drove them home. “I won’t be able to move for a week.”

“Don’t worry. If you need me to carry you upstairs, I’ll be happy to.”

Snorting, Randy shook his head. “Ah, let’s not completely emasculate me, okay? I’ll crawl up on my hands and knees, if necessary.”

“And I’ll follow behind to be sure you don’t slip back down to the bottom.”

Looking at Jett closely, he snickered. “That’s your only reason? I think you want to stare at my butt.”

“Can you blame a guy? Your butt looks incredible in the jeans you’re wearing.”

Randy sat up, looking over at Jett. “Really? You wouldn’t lie to me about something like that, would you?”

“Honey, I wouldn’t lie to you about anything.”

That assurance made Randy feel more confident about his decision to commit himself to Jett, and the two of them living together. They hadn’t known each other long, but he felt as if they’d known each other forever. If there had ever been a man for Randy, it was the man now reaching for his hand to give it a firm squeeze.

  “Oh, look! Stop!”

There was a sign at the edge of the gravel-covered road and a horse standing under a large tree in a pasture nearby. After Gemma, it was the most beautiful animal Randy had ever seen. They had gone beyond the point where the horse stood, but Jett put the truck in reverse and cautiously backed up until they were able to see the animal again.

“It’s for sale,” Randy stated, not quite knowing what he meant. He wasn’t really considering buying a horse, was he? It was foolish to do so.

“Yep, that’s what the sign says.”

  “I wonder how much.”

“We could call the number and ask.”

Randy looked over the horse. It was white and brown with touches of black here and there. He didn’t know anything about horses. He could tell it had a head, legs, ears, and a tail. Getting more technical about it would have been impossible for him. He couldn’t even tell if it was male or female. How did you tell on a horse? It was a good thing he would learn this stuff in school.

“It’s probably expensive,” Randy said finally as he sagged with disappointment. “I don’t even know where I would keep it.”

“Well, we could ask Stephen and Jade if you could keep it at their place. I doubt they would charge much for board, if anything at all. You would just have to buy the feed and hay. I could help you out with that. The guys could feed it in the mornings and we could go out in the afternoon.”

“I don’t know. What if it got sick? I bet veterinarians are expensive.”

He was hoping to be a vet tech in the future. That would help him out with his animals, wouldn’t it? He couldn’t treat complicated things, but he would learn to recognize the signs that a horse needed medical help.

“Honey, if you want a horse, I am more than willing to help you out, if you need me to do so.”

“I don’t know,” Randy said again. The horse was so beautiful. It was calling to him, something he had only experienced once before, and that was when he had seen Gemma. This horse obviously didn’t need his help as Gemma had back then. Someone was taking very good care of it.

Jett took Randy’s hand and squeezed it again. “Why don’t we get off the road and you can pet it and talk to it?”

Randy had barely nodded when Jett drove forward and turned into the end of a lane. When they got out of the truck, Randy’s pleasure shot sky-high as the horse moved quickly toward them, tossing its head and neighing softly. Whatever it was trying to communicate, Randy liked it. He was at the fence now and leaned back in surprise when the horse put its head and part of its neck over the top of the fence. Jett’s laughter made him grin.

“Go ahead. Pet him. Just keep body parts away from his mouth. Some horses like to nip or bite. There’s no point in taking a chance. Every horse I’ve ever met likes you to scratch them in the places they can’t reach.”

Jett showed him where a couple of those places were. Randy laughed when the horse stretched its neck out, lifted its head, and wiggled its upper lip.

  Chapter Eleven

Jett watched the changing expressions on Randy’s face as he interacted with the horse for the first time. Like dogs, horses were exceptional in therapeutic uses. There was something magical about horses. Although Randy’s desire to buy a horse was an impulsive one, Jett believed it might be exactly what Randy needed to help him through the trauma of his past.

They had been invited to go to Redford’s ranch to ride, but they hadn’t gotten there yet. Jett thought Randy having his own horse was a much better option. Sure, the guy had a lot on his plate at the moment, but that might be a good reason for Randy to have the horse.

“You said it’s a he?” Randy asked, l
ooking up at Jett with a combination of a frown and smile that made him appear as if he was in some serious pain.

“Yes. It’s a gelding, which means he was castrated. Geldings can be better horses because they’re less temperamental than mares or stallions.”

“How old do you think he is?”

Lifting the horse’s lip, he examined the teeth. “I wouldn’t say he’s too old. Somewhere between three and five. We should have a vet examine him, if we decide we should get a horse.”

Randy shot him a glance that told Jett that he had noticed the we in the decision-making process they were going through. Randy nodded. “That sounds like a good idea to me. I have no clue about what could be wrong with a horse.”

“So, do you want me to call?”

There was some lip-biting as Randy thought about it. Then he was grinning and nodding his head. “Yeah, go for it.”

The gelding’s owner met them ten minutes later. They climbed over the fence and were greeted with more enthusiasm than before, the gelding bumping Randy with his head in the center of the chest before investigating Randy’s hair with his lip. Randy held the horse off as best he could, when Jett suspected all he wanted to do was hug the animal.

“Joe is a good horse. He was my daughter’s. She raised him from a foal, but her life has changed and she only wants to keep the mare.”

“Joe’s mother,” Jett explained, when Randy sent him a questioning glance.

“He’s an excellent trail horse. Not flighty at all. Have you ever ridden before, son?” the man asked Randy.

  Randy shook his head. “Never.”

“Well, Joe would be a real good first horse. He has the patience of a saint and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.”

After a few more questions, Jett waited for Randy to make a decision. He could see the fear and excitement in Randy’s gorgeous eyes. “I think I want to do it,” he whispered, his hand stroking over Joe’s bald face as he held onto the heavy leather halter.
