Ricochet: Extraction Point
Page 11
I DO NOT like writing 3rd person. I need to feel as if I AM the character to get the most of their emotions.
I am able to write Military and/or MMA. It’s outside my usual comfort zone of celebrity romance, and I liked the challenge.
As much as I loathe cliffhangers, I have to admit, I really, really enjoyed putting them in each section of the book. That probably makes me evil, but, there it is.
I want to thank everyone who read my ARC, my street team, the Dirty Fangirls, for helping out with critiques. Thanks to all the bloggers who gave Ricochet the time of day in their very busy lives— and a special shout out to Ana (Ivy) of Ana’s Attic Book Blog for the wicked awesome time I had at Wicked Book Weekend, 2015.
And to my husband, thank you for reading the military scenes and fixing the language where it needed it, and for your firsthand knowledge of MMA and what it’s like to step into that cage.
Keep on reading! Cheers, Heather C. Leigh.
