Sean nodded. "Sounds good. I gotta have a meeting with the boss," Sean said and reached down to grab Roxy's hand, "as well as the rest of my taskmasters." Grabbing Daelyn's next, he stood back up, pulling them out of their chairs.

"Come on, girls, I'm sure you're all going to want to tell me why this is a bad idea."

With that, Sean left the room as Cali, Peg, Roberta, Estrella, and Jolene followed.

After the door closed, Chad looked around the room. "You know, for the first time I don't envy him having all those wives."

  End Book Fifteen

  Afterword

Hello everyone, I'd like to start by saying, if you enjoyed this book, please go on Amazon and give me a review and a rating. I've said it before, and of course I'll say it again: Ratings are my lifeblood as an independent author, with 4- and 5-star ratings being the ones that help me the most. The more of those I get, the more likely Amazon is to show my work to other folks.

This book took a bit longer to publish, and I thought I would take a minute to tell all of you why. Originally I had decided to take a one month break to work on the next Portals of Infinity story. I was also invited by a couple of friends to join their current project. So I started working on both.

It was during this time I had a fluke accident and ruptured my left bicep. Originally I thought I'd just torn the muscle, something which will heal, but unfortunately the pain wasn't going away. Eventually I saw a surgeon, got an MRI, and then had surgery. Turns out I'd done quite a number on the arm, and healing will be a six-month process. Two of those in a very restrictive arm brace.

Added to the other things going on that I mentioned in the afterword for the last book and also on my blog, and well, April and May were very rough months. A good deal of this book was written when I was in pain. Then there was a several week break when I could barely type at all, being limited to one hand and not in much of a mood to do anything but sleep.

Things are better now. I can type, though not for long stretches yet. I'm in almost no pain at all, thankfully. Though having to adapt to being one armed and not being able to do a lot of things for the next six (well five now) months sucks. I won't be doing any motorcycle riding this summer, and I'm not allowed to cut the grass, either.

So again, I apologize for how long this took, but events took matters out of my hands.

Once again, I'd like to thank all of you for buying my books and supporting me. I do it all for you, and you all mean so much to me. Hopefully I will be able to continue to do so.

Some Recommendations: As mentioned before, I do have another name I write under: John Van Stry. If you haven't looked at it, you might appreciate my 'Portals of Infinity' series. It's currently at eight books and will continue; I will hopefully be writing the ninth book in the series within the next few months.

Some other people I enjoy reading in this genre, and you might, as well:

William D. Arand (aka Randi Darren) – Please check him out, he's good. I've been a big fan of William's since I discovered his work. It was kind of a funny moment for me when I found out he was a fan of my stuff as well. I'm honestly beginning to suspect that he can't write a bad story, because every book he writes is just so much better than the one before. I just finished 'Swing Shift', and it was great. You should really buy his books.

Blaise Corvin – The Delvers books are really a lot of fun and very much worth it. When I first came across his Delvers LLC books, I almost felt kind of jealous, because I was like 'why didn't I think of that?' I do think if you like my stuff, you'll like his as well, so check it out! And definitely give the Nora Hazard book a try ('Mitigating Risk' is the first one), I'm reading it now and really enjoying it.

Michael-Scott Earle – one of these days I'm going to bribe him to finish Lion Quest.

They're all good people and great writers.
