A Different Light

Needing more than teasing, Mac sucked the fat head of Bennett’s cock into his mouth, just needing a taste. Up and down, he bobbed his head, using his hand to cover the part his mouth couldn’t reach. He could feel Bennett’s cock getting harder, throbbing to the beat of his heart. As much as Mac would have loved to swallow every drop of his come, he needed to fuck him more.

Pushing to his feet, Mac leaned in against the glass with his hands on either side of Bennett and kissed him until he was breathing heavy. Then he turned him, so his face was against the glass and Bennett’s back was within reach. Mac was touching the play of muscles beneath his fingers, making small, dirty moans leave Bennett’s mouth. He licked a path down Bennett’s back until he reached his crease and spread his cheeks. That move alone had Bennett humping the air. “Fuck, Mac, please.”

“Don’t worry, Princess. I’ll give you what you want. I’m going to spread you wide and taste your hole.” Mac swiped his tongue over that puckered opening, moaning at the taste. His licked and nibbled at his hole, softening the ring of muscle to take his dick. Each swipe of his tongue pulled a moan out of Bennett, each moan pushing Mac to do it faster and spear him harder with his tongue, fucking his hole until Bennett was trembling and whimpering for more.

He pulled away and stood, needing to be inside Bennett. Mac slid his fingers into Bennett’s mouth commanding him, “Suck them until they’re dripping,” Bennett did, messily, as his hands shook against the glass. Mac fucked between his cheeks, his cock head sliding over his tight hole with each swipe, and each pass elicited another throaty, slutty moan from Bennett.

Mac’s wet fingers thrust into Bennett as he wrapped his other hand around his leaking cock. “Fuck, yeah,” Bennett cried out.

Mac pushed in and out, spreading the saliva around his hole. “I’m going to fuck this hole, Princess. I’m going to make you scream and beg and never want me to stop.” Bennett’s ass clamped down on his fingers as he pushed out a groan.

“Now, just do it, now,” Bennett begged. Mac listened.

Mac pulled away and pulled off his pants and briefs as fast as possible, grabbing the condom out of his pocket before throwing the clothes on the floor behind him. Putting the condom on, he took one step and was back where he belonged, chest to back with Bennett, sighing at the feel of his pale skin against Mac’s. No matter how many times they were like this, skin to skin, the sensation never got old.

His cock speared into Bennett’s crease, rubbing his hole over and over, not able to stop himself from teasing them both. Mac pushed a little, breaching the tight muscle. Bennett was fucking back on him as Mac breached him, sliding into that heat, and god, it felt fucking amazing every time.

Bennett’s ass clamped down on his dick with so much pressure that Mac swore he saw stars, his breath picked up from the exquisite feel of being encased in that tight ass. He shifted a few times until his thickness was hitting Bennett’s gland over and over.

Mac knew that it wasn’t going to last long. It felt too good. It felt like everything was coming together, every sensation and emotion twined together. Pushing Mac closer and closer to the edge as he fucked into Bennett with a pounding rhythm.

“I’m not gonna last long.” Mac was not ashamed that his voice had come out more like a whine. “You feel so good, B.”

  “Same. I’m close. Please.”

Mac pushed in harder as he saw Bennett’s hand reach down to jack his own dick, knowing that meant he’d be shooting any second.

The moment he heard the grunt of pleasure from Bennett, his ass clamping down on him again, Mac was done. His was coming in waves of pleasure as his hips jerked against Bennett’s ass. There was nothing Mac could do but hold on and ride the sensations running through his body, he was on sensory overload.

He leaned against Bennett, forehead on his shoulder, trying to catch his breath. Wrapping his arms around him, he could feel his heavy breathing and squeezed. “God, that was fucking hot,” Mac said against Bennett’s back.

“It…it was alright,” Bennett replied, making Mac laugh.

“Yeah, maybe we should do it again so I can do better the next time.”

Bennett moaned at the thought but continued to play along. “I think that’s an excellent idea. We can never have too much data compiled. But, can we do it in a bed next time?”

  Mac chuckled, “Of course, Princess.”

Bennett turned his head looking over his shoulder at Mac and smiled. “I…I love you, Mac.”

  “I love you too, B.”

  “Yeah, Mom. I hear you.”

“They want a short escrow, and since they’re paying cash, our lawyer sees no reason why we can’t.” His mom’s voice was bordering on polite which meant she was trying to explain because she felt bad.

  “Mmmhmm.”

“What are you going to do, dear? I know your apartment won’t be ready for another two and a half weeks.” His mom, ever the worrier.

“I don’t know, to be honest. This has caught me by surprise. When you put the house up for sale at the end of July, I hadn’t expected it to sell this fast.”

“We didn’t either, Bennett. We’re all shocked, but I guess you boys really did an excellent job on the repairs.”

“Of course we did, but I’m sure it has more to do with the market than anything else.” Bennett truly had no idea where he was going to stay now that the house would be closing much sooner than anyone had expected.

“Is there anything we can do to help you? I mean, you have to find a place to live.”

“Yes, Mom. I know I need to find a place to live before the closing, but you literally just sprang this on me. I can’t think that fast.” Just as he started to speak, Mac walked into his kitchen where Bennett had been cooking lunch. His part of the house repairs had been completed last week so he typically would spend his days over at Mac’s reading up on the projects his new firm was working on. Trying his best to stay out of the way of Mac’s crew doing the finishing touches.

“Well, let me talk to your father and see what he says. In the meantime, talk to Mac, maybe he has some ideas. Bye, dear.” Bennett dropped his phone on the table and put his head in his hands.

Mac walked over, putting his hands on Bennett’s back, rubbing lightly. “Hey, B. What’s going on?”

“Ugh, you don’t want to know.” Bennett was truly fucked—and not in the fan-fucking-tastic Mac way—if he couldn’t find a place to live for the next two and a half weeks. “I think I should call Jaden. Maybe he has some ideas.”

Bennett picked up his phone to call his best friend when Mac placed a hand over his. Bennett looked up at him and saw the concern in his eyes. “Come on, Princess, talk to me.”

Then he remembered that Mac was there, and he was the one he should probably talk to first. They may not have defined their relationship since it had a clear expiration date, but that didn’t mean that Bennett couldn’t turn to him.

“That was my mom. The house sold.”

“No fucking way! That was fast.”

“Yeah, which is great for my parents, not so good for me.”

“Is that what you meant about needing a place to stay before the closing?” Mac asked.

“I won’t be able to keep staying there. The only furniture left was my bed so I still have to get that taken care of, but finding a place in Boston for only two weeks will cost way too much, and there’s not even a bed and breakfast around White Acre.” Bennett was clearly whining and had no shame in doing it. He hated sudden unplanned change. It annoyed his ordered and logical side.

Mac chuckled and shook his head, then took a seat next to Bennett’s at the kitchen table. “Have you forgotten something?”

Bennett cocked his head, trying to think what it was he could be forgetting but nothing was coming to mind. “I’m sorry, Mac, but no, I don’t think so.”

“Hmm okay. Let’s play a game, then.” Mac was teasing him, he could tell.

“Mac,” Bennett whined. “Why can’t we skip
the game and you just tell me? It would save us lots of time.”

  “How about a hint?”

“Fine, a hint, but if I don’t guess then you gotta just tell me.”

Mac nodded in agreement then leaned over and kissed him. Not a chaste kiss but a full on assault with his tongue. He hummed into the kiss, enjoying the sensations that Mac’s kisses always created. But, all too soon, the kiss was over, and Mac sat with a huge smile on his face.

“If the hint was that you can kiss me stupid, then I get it.”

Mac sighed and chuckled, “No, dork. I’m the hint.”

“You’re the hint?” Bennett tried to think how Mac himself could be the hint. And how that had anything to do with the something he forgot.

“Yup.” Mac replied with a pop to the p.

“But what do you have to do with the something I forgot? Mac just tell me. I told you that you kissed me stupid.” Bennett smiled sweetly at him, batting his eyelashes.

Mac laughed, then asked, “B, where have you been staying for the last, I don’t know, since the camping trip? What was that, four weeks ago?”

Then it dawned on Bennett what Mac was getting at. “You want me to stay here?” He wasn’t sure how he felt about that. It was both exciting and scary, and he wasn’t sure which one was winning.

“Yeah, Princess, since you’ve already been staying here every night for weeks. How would this be any different?” Mac asked.

And that was the thing, there was no difference. It was just that, in his mind, he kept it as though he’d been just staying the night, not living with Mac. So mentally, nothing had changed. He was still “staying” at his parents, even if technically, he really wasn’t.

He couldn’t remember the last time he slept in that bed. “Oh.”

“Besides B, it’s only temporary, and I, for one, would love to get more time with you.”

“I mean, you’re right, there isn’t any difference, I guess I just never really thought about it. But are you sure it won’t feel weird with me actually staying here, with no place for you to kick me out to if I make you mad?”

“I’d never kick you out. I’d just spank you.” Mac winked making Bennett laugh.

“I’d like to see you try, macho man.” Bennett leaned over and smacked his lips against Mac’s. When Mac tried to wrestle him closer to deepen the kiss, he quickly backed up and waggled his finger at him. “Tsk, tsk, naughty boy. You have to go back to work and I have to go pack some boxes and all my clothes.”

“I can play hooky for a little while,” Mac teased.

“No way am I getting in trouble with Danny for you skipping out on work. Let’s go. I’ll even walk you over.”

As they walked out of the house, Mac replied, “Danny is not the boss. I’m not sure why no one remembers that.”

That night, after they ate dinner, Mac and Bennett walked back over to his parents’ house to grab all the stuff Bennett spent hours packing. He forgot about how much he brought with him and even accumulated while he was there.

If he were honest, he’d admit that, even of it was only for a short time, he was excited about staying with Mac. He’d been enjoying their time together for weeks, even if he hadn’t looked at how domestic they’d become with each other. Bennett figured it was the only time he’d trust a guy as much as he trusted Mac, enough to fall in love with him, enough to trust that he didn’t have nefarious purposes.

Bennett was certain that wouldn’t happen again. For one, Mac had his heart, and... he was Mac. Someone who clearly had a heart of gold, someone that didn’t wear his heart on his sleeve, but he didn’t lock it away either. It was out there enough for Bennett to find, to see all the good in Mac. Of course, that was after he’d gotten his head out of his ass and opened his eyes to see the real Mac. Falling for him after that had been easy. And relationships for him hadn’t been easy for years, if ever.

Bennett’s main concern after he left was falling out of love. He was sure it was the twisted logic only he could come up with. His fear was that being away from Mac, not being able to touch him or kiss him whenever he wanted, would make his love for Mac fade. For him, that was worse than being in love and having to keep it long distance or even one-sided. At least then, he’d still have the love feelings, and he wanted to hold onto that as long as he could.

Bennett wasn’t even certain that they would stay in touch. Maybe at first, but they’d be living in two different worlds and schedules would eventually get in the way. He wasn’t sure if he’d rather cut all ties right at the beginning, or at least have Mac’s voice in his ear for the next few months until even that petered out.

That night, as they stood in the kitchen cooking pasta and meatballs for dinner, Mac teaching Bennett another useless skill, making meatballs, he was struck by how happy he was in that moment. They’d done this so much over the last weeks, cooking and cleaning and everything in between. But, the combination of the end coming in just over two weeks and the thoughts and feelings associated with this being his home temporarily, he felt…overwhelmed with the emotion of doing such simple everyday things.

God, how was he going to walk away from him? But…he had to. Bennett had a job, an apartment, and a future waiting for him in Boston. One that he had spent nine years working so hard to achieve. Internships, classes, labs, and so many late nights, all to get to where he was now. Could he throw all that away for love? What a silly idea. It was a feeling, yes, it was one he loved having, one he would hold onto with everything he had, but it couldn’t be enough to make him happy. Not in the face of giving up his dream. He needed to stop those thoughts because it was just fantasy. Reality was all too different.

Mac grasped his neck and kissed his forehead, speaking against his skin. “Hey, Princess what’s going on in that head of yours?”

“That I don’t know how to make meatballs any better than I can drive a motorcycle or fish.” Bennett forced a smile, but he could see by the searching look on Mac’s face, he hadn’t believed the words. Thankfully, he didn’t push.

“That’s because they aren’t hamburgers, B. Roll them gently.” Mac moved to stand behind him, sliding his arms around Bennett to place his hands over Bennett’s. The heat of Mac’s body seeped into his every pore. Inhaling the scent of Italian spices and Mac, he let out a breath and closed his eyes. In a soft seductive tone, Mac continued his lesson. “You have to roll them like this. Less pressure, more gliding. You don’t need to squeeze them like they’re a dick, B.”

Bennett let out a surprise laugh, caught off guard by the crude joke since Mac’s voice had lulled him with its sensual sound. “You’re a jackass, Mac.” But he couldn’t wipe the smile off his face.

They ate dinner, cleaned up, and since the next day was still a work day for Mac, they went to bed early. Mac and Bennett stood side by side in the bathroom, both of them brushing their teeth. Bennett felt inordinately happy. He looked over at Mac who was seemingly oblivious to Bennett’s…whatever it was. But, when he noticed Bennett looking at him, he winked and smiled, causing Bennett to freaking blush. Jesus, he was losing it. They were brushing their teeth, not buying a house together.

That was one thing Mac gave him. The appreciation of the little things in life.

Bennett walked over to the bed, removing the red and blue plaid bow tie he’d worn that day—glad to be able to wear them more often again—unbuttoning and pulling off his shirt then socks, throwing them into the hamper on that side of the room. He reached down to unbutton his dress pants when he noticed Mac not moving to undress, but openly staring at him.

  “What?” Bennett questioned.

  “I’m waiting.”

  “For?”

“You know.” Mac’s smile was equal parts hunger and curiosity.

“No, I don’t.” Bennett crossed his arms over his naked chest refusing to put on a show for Mac. He’d die of embarrassment.

“Yes, you do, Princess.” Cajoling, that was what Mac was trying to do.

  “Maybe, but yo
u don’t have to be weird about it. They’re just underwear. You get changed first.” Bennett waved his hands at Mac.

“But you need my undivided attention for this,” Mac replied, his sensual tone from earlier back in his voice as he walked around the bed to stand in front of Bennett. Bennett swallowed, hard. Arousal coursing through him just that quick. His cock plumped with each step Mac took, and now that Mac was within touching distance, it stood at full attention pressed against his zipper. “Maybe I’ll just make it easier for us.”

  “How?” Bennett’s voice was raspy.

“I’ll just get down on my knees and undress you myself.” Mac voice was sultry and carnal, turning Bennett on even more. His only response was to nod his head, because there was no way he’d say no to Mac on his knees in front of him. Mac dropped to his knees, the soft carpet in the room padding his fall perfectly, and took the zipper in his hand and pulled slowly. The whole time he’d been pulling that zipper down, he’d kept his eyes locked to Bennett’s. The silver bleeding away as his pupils dilated.

Then he grasped the waistband of Bennett’s black dress pants and gently pulled them down, wiggling them back and forth but leaving Bennett’s boxers in place, until they were pooled around his feet. He lifted his foot but Mac made no move to remove them, so he dropped it back. Mac was staring and not at Bennett’s face but at his underwear. It’d become a thing which apparently had become part of their sex lives too. Bennett wanted to chuckle, because honestly, if he thought about it, it was weird. But he didn’t chuckle because Mac began tracing the graphics on his boxers.

“The Sexy Scientist Checklist, B?” His voice held a note of teasing. “And don’t bother telling me that Jaden bought these ones too. Because I no longer believe that excuse.”
