The Necromancer's Knives

“Wait!” I shouted.
Moons didn’t wait. He ripped off his pants.
I saw skin. A bony ass. A black thong.
Luucas slapped his hands over his eyes as Moons launched himself at the pole. Moons folded himself around the silver bar. He spun around twice.
And then flew off into the wall.
I shrieked. Luucas seemed torn between wanting to help and running away.
Luckily, my godfather is resilient. He sprang right back up and launched himself at the pole again.
“Obviously,” Moons said, “I will need a lot of practice.”
I turned my full fury on Luucas, who had both hands over his eyes and was backing down the hall, away from the scene of the crime.
“You asked for a life-scarring incident?” I demanded.
“You’re right,” he said, nodding his head. “I did make everything worse.”
Note from the Author
Thank you for reading The Necromancer’s Knives! This book was a labor of love. I wrote it because I received such an outpouring of love and support for The Fourth Channel from readers who wanted more.
I love writing Kari’s adventures, so it wasn’t hard to convince me.
I hope you loved the story, too. If you did, please leave a review. It doesn’t have to be long or elaborate. Every review helps!
There’s more to come, so stay tuned for more adventures with Kari Hunter and her talking sacrificial knives. Sign up for my newsletter to hear about my new releases and receive early content. You can also follow me on my website, JenKirchner.com, and on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Best,
