Nexus of Time

  "You never did control her. She just let you tell her what to do until you didn't make sense to her," says Sandy from behind them. "What if they both are right? That the three of you keep over-rationalizing and over-planning yourselves into failure, time and again. I've never questioned your leadership or decisions, Captain, but I've never seen anyone have the guts to either, until now."

  Sandy turns holding her face wound and walks back to the Barge, disappearing inside. On the tarmac, the remaining medical staff, soldiers and facility personnel check the other wounded. Burt and Walter kneel over the dead Anunnaki, while Captain Nemolopolus shakes his head and walks with a few armed soldiers into the invisible Anunnaki ship.
