Intoxia Warriors - Mizuka Blood (Book One)

by De'Karhi Philpot

I'll have to reconsider for the time being. I've already assigned Hiba to go and back up some of Shiver's warriors, just hope that they can all get along for crying out loud, Lola thought casually with her mind more focused on Shizuka's conditions.

She entered the medical room with Alexander and Ross in the progress of treating the Western General's scars and bloody wounds. The Core General thought of using her Energy Signal to see if she could try and communicate with Shizuka telepathically without trying to interrupt Ross and Alexander's concentration.

Shizuka, how you feeling, sis? Lola said to Shizuka's mind.

Well... Looks like I won't be able to train some of your warriors like you are with mine. Guess this makes us, even huh?

Both red-haired women laughed silently, but the Mizuka leader broke it into something serious.

Listen Shizuka, Black had sent his three members to the Asylum to free the Akuma Beasts and steal the Black Crystal, any of your warriors that I should send or will that be negative?

Don't worry about it, Mizuka. You have to understand that my warriors, especially Isabella are still novice. Shizuka answered courageously. Hence that there isn't anything that Hiba can't do. She's your best female warrior, so you should rely on her for the time being.

I know for a fact that the Black Crystal is going to be needed if Black has a tendency of abducting the Avarian Beast of the Amili. What do you sugggest then, Siya? Lola sat down in the chair, rubbing the injured General's right palm.

For the time being, Lola. Just support my warriors and give them the same warrior wisdom and confidence that you've given me. Shizuka admired Lola's tendency of leadership skills.

That'll be appropriate. I do understand that this isn't something that Isabella wou--

Shizuka interrupted the woman, Don't worry about Isabella. I'll train her on my own terms. She's not to leave this building because she will not be easy for you to understand. Especially with a personality like yours, I highly doubt that she'd care less if you understood her emotions.

That does make a lot of sense. After all, I do throw an unorthodox tempertantrum like it's nothing, Lola openly stated with a warm smiling growing. It isn't easy trying to train someone that doesn't embrace their trust for you, huh?

You damn right, it isn't, Shizuka answered. I may need to rest of the time being. Hopefully, when I recuperate, I'll be back on my feet in time to help at Leserado, Shizuka said in her mind.

I don't think so. Alexander told me that you were mortally exhausted and tired from the Zerukin's power and it almost killed you. Hence that the negative energy from that power was killing you and I would hate to see Isabella go off like that, Lola uttered. It's best if you stay put. That's an order.

Wow, giving orders to an unconscious woman that can't even move well outside our minds, hehe, Shizuka giggled. Yes, ma'am. I'll be a trump card another time. You just get out there and kick their asses. Shizuka's had tenderly gripped around Lola's as symbolism to know that she'll make it.

Hiba had made it to the Asylum, geared up and ready for a crucial fight. Upon proceeded the building, she saw two Gurasa Knights corpses at the front of the entrance, meaning that the Bloodlust had already made their move.

"Hinura," Dai Poison said from the front of the entrance. "Don't think that we're going to be needing your help."

Hiba's long amaranth hair was placed into a pony-tail before she entered the ominous building. She thought of asking for their assistance and not wanting to fight with their personalities.

"Look, I just want to stop the Bloodlust--"

"Save it, Hinura. It's best if you stay home and leave to the people that works for the Globe Governement," Saua demanded. "That's an order and it's the end of story."

"OK, first off, I have no clue who the hell you're barking orders at, but I really don't like elitists nor do I have patients for them. So, you can go and bark orders at those who'd answer to you," Hiba barked back as she prepared her sword for an attack. "After all, I wonder if the elitists are generous enough to take care of those imps behind them while Hiba Hinura starts doing things her way."

The warm smile on the Hinura heroine's face had rose irresistably. Not backing down from her own personality of soloing everything in her path, Hiba had insisted that the Akuma Demons be dealt with by Dai, Saua and Paulana without any effort.

"Don't you think that you should be helping us as well, Hinura?" Saua asked with her hands on both hips and leaning her herself forward.

"Nope. All you need to do is kiss my ass and take care of them. See ya," Hiba laughed with her Stareyes (Stage One: Original) activated.

"That bitch," Saua's face deformed into anger and frustration. "God. I can never understand the Intoxian Army sometimes. They always try to get the upper ha--"

Saua was too distracted with her complaints as she saw Dai summon his shotgun that fired out boysenberry purple poisonous bullets at his opponents. He had a katana blade on his left side side.

"Pay attention, Captain, you would've been decapitated," Dai advised. He witnessed two more Demons come his direction, releasing his katana, he altered into his Gurasa Wolf Form, giving his speed more exposure into penetrating the Demon's chest and thoroughly sawing it toward down to the groin without hesitation. The second Demon moved in at full speed to try and catch the man off guard but Dai flipped forward without moving from his spot. Nothing but a trail of Trace Blade was performed.

Trinity Slash is a technique Dai can performed as he released dark magenta mist swirling around his sword with sparkles added to the weapon. His body is cacooned by nothing but the swirling mist that increases the stamina for a short time.

The speed had allowed him to perform a series of blows with heavy thunderous sounds and slashes going surging through the limbs of the Bloodlust Demon. He saw the skull flipping forward, but his gun landed in the mouth as he pulled the trigger.

Hiba was on the first floor and noticed that the issue had became more stressful for her to handle, but she ignored her excuses to what she can't do and tried either way.

This is going to be a pain in the asshole, Hiba stated in her mind with approach of the southeast elavator. If she's able to survive and catch up to the squad leader of the Three Vile Vixen (Marscilla Erisa, Lisa Amili and Thorn Poison), Hiba would be more than lucky to have a decent competition. Lola did say that they were after the Black Crystal and trying to free the Akuma Beasts, so I'll have to beat her to the top floor where the Black Crystal is located.

The number Hiba pressed was floor three-fifteen, which could take no more than three minutes to reach, due to the speed of how fast the elevator could move.

Hiba heard gunshots from the floors she passed and didn't have any other choice but to go passed them; seeming that she had already clicked on floor three-fifteen. To an abrupt stop, the door opened as Hiba saw a few guards on the ground, struggling to move under their own power. The Hinura heroine trailed over there and didn't want to scare them.

"Hey, you. Wake up," Hiba shook the exhausted and pratically wounded man. "What happened here?"

The guard whispered before giving out his last will of strength, "Hi-- Hiba. Blo-- Bloodlu--" Before speaking, his hand had given out on him and didn't have the chance to give a lightning answer.

Hiba placed his hands over his chest after closing his eyes.

Towering over the now resting body, Hiba isn't aware that the member standing behind her with both weapons in hand, preped to attack while ascended to her Gurasa Wolf Spirit form.

  Chapter 27 - Asylum Anarchy

  ***

Tornado was the first to awaken from his slumber and decided to get dress, and eat breakfast before he could get started with the second day of training the newest recruits.

He pulled down his electric lime towel down from the hanger in his closet and had trailed upstairs to the second floor. The hot water was already running when he used a duplicant of his for
m less than a minute ago. He saw his cloned self reforming with it's host once again.

The Poison General felt frustrated. He was constantly regretting the mistakes he made of not being around to help Lola during that night and what it's boiled down to. The more he thought on it, the more it impacted it.

I'll have to avenge the mistake I've made for not saving Lola. Black's not the type to regret his mistakes, Tornado was stuck in a tidal wave of thoughts and aspects to Leserado War and why things felt even if they won the battle and the war, it didn't feel like a victory. Not only that, but what else was bothering him, especially for an nearby veteran of the Intoxian Army, was stuck on the thoughts of Black's plot. For my coast, it's literally been thirteen years since I fought Black.

Going at a blur speed, Thorn's weapon had missed Hiba's left cheek as she thrust the sword into the wall. Hiba moved out of harm's way and didn't know whather or not to compete with Thorn or stop the other two members from getting the Black Crystal on the top floor.

I don't have time to fight her, Hiba thought quickly. Oh, well, I'll just inflict as much damage as I can to her and let Light of Diamond take care of the rest.

Hiba unsheathed the blades from behind her back and motioned herself toward her adversary. Thorn positioned her arm back as she flew full speed as Hiba performed the same stunt. The moment they made contact, the swords had clashed heavily. The Hinura warrior felt a bit sterned, trying her best to avoid the next blow.

Thorn saw an opening and used a dagger to throw at Hiba's abdomen. Using more force on her Stareye powers, Hiba had ascended to the second half of her first form, to the chest down to her thighs. It was quick thinking on her part as she's recently accomplished it the last training section she's had with Lola. Thorn's right arm shifted into an enlarged anthropomorphic wolf. Launching it at Hiba's face, the heroine took the damage, but it couldn't cost her skull to snap off her shoulders in a quick second.

Hiba hoisted herself Stareye marks back to the first segment; the top of her skull to her chest was protected in armor from the inside of her body. She flew across the room and landed on her spine after flipping backwards. The Bloodlust canine didn't bother slowing down as Hiba moved out of the way in a heartbeat, only to bolt her way back at Thorn with a swift knee to the jaw.

Thorn couldn't help but felt the numb from the blow. The member of Bloodlust thought of going all out physically; hence launching her swords aside and remaining in her Gurasa Wolf Spirit. Hiba didn't mind have a hand-to-hand combat. Their fists smashed into one another, followed by both hands grasped around one another. Hiba and Thorn were staring each other down; eye to eye, not a sense of intimidation had overpowered neither of the women.

Hiba then thought of pushing her enemy backward with all her strength from the Stareyes. Thorn felt a slight movement in her right foot as she tried to breathe heavily and hit Hiba with a hellious knee kick to the chin. Moving backwards onto her hands, Hiba picked herself up and caught the vile canine in the face with her right foot; knocking her a few feet away. Hiba spun vertically full-speed, delivering a kick to the chest. Thus, enforcing the enemy's body out farther away.

The wall had nearly made a crack with the frame collapsing to the ground. Hiba had turned away and rushed over toward the elevator, desperate to catch her breath, she no longer prolonged the battle after seemingly defeating Thorn Poison.

Hiba panted as she adjusted the door to close manually. She thought she had a chance to make it out, but was blocked off with Thorn placing her hand in between the doors as she spread her hand out with a huge gap of slime launched at the exhausted Hinura, who dodged them in time, grabbing Thorn's right wrist and dragging her body down onto the ooze she splattered on the floor. It suddenly made a few major holes into the elavator, giving the Hinura fighter the opportunity to jump out in time.

Thorn had fallen down, but not much, thrusting her weapon into the wall to try and lift herself back up allowing her weapons do the crawling.

Man, this these Bloodlust assholes can be so persistent, Hiba frustratingly thought as she went into Rigged Stareyes (Stage two).

  ***

Tornado had left out of his room with his general attire on, walking down the right end of the hallways until he reached the elavator. He placed his right hand on the black strap that's connected and begun to have gritty thoughts about the rescue mission he was apart of when he fought against Black in the Bloodlust War at Leserado from fifteen years earlier. The one thing that he's been regretting every day since that incident was not protecting Diamond like he swore to Lola.

He hoisted his head up and didn't have the tendency of piercing nothing but the inner theories to what made Diamond give up her own life.

If I'm not mistaken, there has to be more to Diamond than just giving up the Symbols. I may have had something to do with the Aruba Angels that attended the Bloodlust War at Leserado. It's virtually and unrealistic for Diamond to back down that quickly, unless she struck a deal with Black just on the day she birthed Crystal, Tornado reached the bottom of the floor and went into the cafeteria. There, he saw Isabella and Lola talking, trying to have common ground after Shizuka and the Core General had their discussion.

"I'm not really sorry for telling you this, Isabella. But it's your boss' orders and I'm only trying to look out for you," Lola said, sipping a mug of coffee.

"Well, I don't like it," Isabella pouted, not taking a single bite of out of her morning meal. "It's just so agitating for me to be something that I don't want to be to you."

"This has nothing to do with you trying to do things your way, Isabella. It's about following the rules and getting a clear conscious that it's more than just about you that wants to progress," Lola rubbed the bridge of her nose before she pulled out a cigar and ignited the lighter before smoking. "If I didn't know any better. I say that you hold an envied grudge against Hiba because of her capabilities to do what you can't do."

Struck at what she heard, the young Poison warrior had no comeback nor did she have any proof that she isn't jealous. She tried her hardest to block out that emotion, but failed easily.

"Now, you're going to come down to the Training Arena and I'll be sure that Sonya and yourself are training. General Brook and I will be more than pleasant to guide you into controlling your powers," Lola applied casually. She placed the cigar into the ashtray and towered over the gal. She rubbed Isabella's left shoulder and said one more thing before leaving the cafe, "After all, I think when it comes to your Gurasa powers, they'll be needed for when we go and rescue a comrade and fellow warrior of yours."

Isabella's misconstrude judgement of the warriors from the Nothern, Eastern and Western Coasts had blinded her with complete frustration, utterly accusing them for being at the top because of the massive support, and respect they gained from the likes of from liutenants to the Core General herself.

Maybe Lola is right. Perhaps I am being too aggressive with myself and how I lack the strong will to have patients, Isabella took a bite out of her breakfast pie; hence filled with mashed potatoes, eggs and melted cheese with bacon on the inside. She pressed her lips against the one-liter grape soda bottle.

"Isabella, please report to the Training Arena immediately," Brook's voice boomed through the intercom. "Isabella, please report to the Training Arena immediately."

The Poison trainee had stood and marched over toward the chef, asking them for a plastic container to take with her for later. Diving her hand and grabbed three packets of ketchup to take with her, she rested her head for a moment and didn't feel like training today.

Crystal and her anti-mentor were both in the room, looking down at the books the young Aruba had finished in a short amount of time. She read all of them as if she knew what was about to happen.

"Young one, is there anything that you would like to show me?" Black sat down behind Crystal with his scythe placed on his left side. "You remember what we agreed on right?"

  "Ye-- Yes,"
Crystal's back felt heated in fear with the Reaper standing behind her. Feeling a bit traumatized and mind-pounded with illusional thoughts of what kind of stunt Black will pull.

"There's no need to be worried. If I wanted to kill you, I would've done it a long time ago. Don't worry about your perspective of me," Black encouraged the white-haired Aruba, standing up from the chair slowly and didn't even begin to have thoughts about the book once he and Crystal were finished.

"Black, I wanted to ask you something important," Crystal felt her heart booming horrifically, feeling the vibe within her body quivering, as if she felt her question to Black seemed unorthodox.

"I have an answer if you're willing to go into detail about it," Black replied, not peering down at the white-haired teenager.

"My Mom. Was there some grudge that you had against her or is there more to the story about why or how she died?" Crystal's question was more than complex for Black to answer.

Instantly, he quoted, "My thoughts and opinions about Diamond aren't as easy for me to explain to you as it may seem."

"From what I read, in the book Mysteries Amoung The Symbols. When I was reading through some of the pages, I began to develop some theories of my own as to why the host of the Diary Symbols prior to me was incapable of risking her life to save this planet until a certain point," Crystal commented with her mind connecting some of the pieces that's went missing for a second.

There's no chance that I would have thought about that in the beginning. Despite all the time and effort that I've invested my time with dealing with these books and yet we could've used Emerald for this. But he was nowhere to be seen at the time, Black quoted within his mind without guilt. I myself feel a bit irresponsible about how I look at things sometimes. Maybe I overestimatd the Aruba line's power.

"Crystal, I'm going to take a walk around Leserado to show you something. Please post-pone your task within the next hour and come meet me down at Leserado's Graveyard. I'll be there for a sustain time," Black commanded, rubbing the gal's faced down hand.

"I understand," Crystal said. But out of desperation, she uttered something Black's rarely heard from anyone outside his organization. "Thanks for mentoring me with some of your knowledge of courage and combat."
