"So, that's how the mother fucker wants to play, huh?" Charlie thougtht outloud with his armored gloves oozing out his claws, ready to attack once more. "He must've been more supportive of you than myself and the rest of the team, huh?"

"Charlie, if you do that, we'll have to be more considerate about the fact that Black's orders are as clear as water and we must follow them," Emerald immensely stated.

"If you think that the Black Crystal has so many special abilities, then why the fuck does this bitch need to be abducted then?"

Disrespected by his terms, Renasakuya didn't tolerate the immense aura she heard

"Don't make me do this, Mizuka," Charlie's 'so-called' comrade placed the sword before his throat. "I will go all out and not show any sympathy if you don't go with the plot."

Charlie laughed hatefully with his heart ordering him to make the first move, "I have no other choice but to do this then."

The air grew heavier all three stood still. Charlie's sights had begun to betray him as it became blurry. He didn't think that the man he's been dealing with for an extended period of time was on the verge of pulling an unfortunate stunt.

Emerald and Renasakuya had felt chills slithering down their shoulders. The Aruba knew it would occur. Within a split second, a sudden blast of wind came from behind Charlie and Emerald. It was to their own surprise that they weren't the only ones that had a strong aspiration to make an unfortunate move.

"It appears that there's odds, Charlie and Emerald. Since Black had foolishly made his move. Renasakuya's not a tool that you use for your amusement. If there's anything that attacks a fellow being that's breathing is a penalty," the head-administrator, Shiver Aruba, prepared her sword in hopes to not kill any of the people with her group emerging the lower levels of the Widows Forest. "It seems like you assholes have become the hunted."

  Chapter 36 - Seventh Birthday

  ***

The newest and youngest member of the Bloodlust Revelation was resting peacefully in her new facial form and evening clothing that Black's offered to her. She was beyond the point of not waking up due to the sweat and nausea reactions she's been getting for the last few hours after falling asleep.

Despite all the darkness that's consumed her, she was still haunted by the gruesome memories that have embraced the teenager's heart, ripping it apart piece by piece. Crystal's blood wasn't as warm as it used to be, engaged in her mental images of what she's going to do by the time Lola and the others try to rescue her, if they can.

  ***

Only eight years have passed since the day her seventh birthday had derailed at the hands of her fellow classmates and household mates. Crystal had soon realized that Hitachi, Sonya and Alex hated her to the core.

All I want is at least one friend. At least three friends wouldn't hurt. But it feels as if I wasn't meant to be born yet or not at all. Perhaps there's a chance that if my fellow students could grow a conscious and a heart, I could easily be more open to people, Crystal thought miracously. The sheer black colors had encirled themselves around her, trapping her in a world of solitude.

She had returned from the bathroom in her room. What wasn't expected by her were three individuals appearing before her. Sadly, to her expectations, Sonya had claimed the Diary Book that Crystal earned from Lola after her hard work and graduation at the Ujikadaka Academy a few weeks back. Hence that Crystal's been told that there's things within the book that obtains wisdoms, philosophies, theories about the world and much more.

Crystal ran over at full speed, but was tripped over by Alex's left leg sticking out from behind her. A hard thud had occured when she landed on her stomach, nearly driving the air out from within her. She barely lost her breath, and then realized she landed on her face.

The other two had towered the weakened Aruba with cold eyes glancing down at her. Sonya could hear the fiber in her fist screaming to attack Crystal at all cost; enraged and bottled up by her jealousy of how much sympathy the Aruba gal gained from a lot of people except her Alex and surprisingly, Hitachi.

Sonya wasted no time in harming the girl as she told Alex and Hitachi to hoist her up by her arms. Within a few minutes, they binded her hands together behind her back with unbreakable ropes that have been strapped greatly around her with both arms placed behind.

The blue-haired teen was in for one of the worst experiences for her childhood. It became very clear that they envied her from the get-go. On the contrary of Lola's behavior toward the three, it pushed them over the edge and they quickly fell into depravity without reconsidering her behavior.

"We had been plotting this idea to ruin your birthday, your life and everything else that you've worked so hard for. It's as if we're just fucking no bodies and you just sit still and accept a red-carpet treatment from the likes of everyone else," Sonya bellowed, launching the bottom of her foot into Crystal's stomach, unscrewing the air from the gal with full throttle. "Each blow I give you shows how much we've grown tired of you gaining nothing but sympathy."

Consumed by the immense hatred and disrespect she's caged herself with, Sonya had became fiercer than she's ever been since the day she met Crystal at the Ujikadaka Academy two years ago.

"I think that it'd be more appropriate if I just beat the shit out of you for my own amusement," The monstrous vibe in Sonya's character had taken over her humanity. She collided her skull with Crystal with pure force, nearly derailing the girl's sights and giving her a severe headache.

Rubbing her head after Crystal's blood was nearly caked on it, Sonya mopped it off, ordering Alex and Hitachi to hoist her head up once again.

Looking around the room in search of something very precious and connecting to Crystal's interest, Sonya's attention had pinpointed the Diary Book that's lied on the bed before her household mate went to bed every night. Her eyes grew wider with aspirations of destroying it without a second thought.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here," Sonya never thought of thinking about the backlash she'd received if she accomplished the one thing that no one's mad enough to do. "I heard that this book was important to you, little bitch. Perhaps we should play with it."

Defenseless at what she's witnessing, Crystal's sight came back into her when she looked up and saw the book. Unable to move to the point of saving herself, Sonya thought of drove the Aruba's reaction.

"I will make you feel miserable to the point of trying to make you suicidal and that be less problems for me to deal with," Sonya screamed towards a small box of gasoline with a small lighter in hand. "Sometimes, I feel very sorry for you because of the fact that you're always this lonely wolf. You need to start being more social with a lot of people if you expect for people to notice you."

Misunderstanding Sonya's logic when it's her that's causing a havoc in the her schoolmate's room with nothing but turmoil, Crystal seemed as if she needed to speak her mind on certain aspects.

"Wait, why should I be more active with people when I don't want to?" Crystal asked, barely breathing correctly, she then coughed.

"Because I said so. Now, are you going to cooperate or are you going to give yourself even more hard times than what we're going to give you after this night?" Sonya uttered, trying to rule over Crystal's life.

The pinnacle of the bitter relationship had simultaneously drawn boundaries between the two of them. Sonya and the other two's mentality were not children-like. It was to a point to where she had no choice but to rearrange her actions once the birthday-girl's time was up.

"Now, like I said. you're going to do what I say," Sonya uttered with her heart growing smaller and smaller.

"I refuse to do that," Crystal bounced up and down, but was pinned to the ground by Hitachi's hand on the back of her neck and Alex' putting her head down. Lashing as hard as she could to save her Diary Book, Crystal began doing something that Sonya never thought would occur.

It was a rare thing for Crystal to do, seeming that Lola's taught her to not let emotions get in the w
ay of her survival in school. The Aruba birthday-girl felt tears flooding down to her face with saliva spilling from her mouth. Even screaming loud enough for Lola to hear her and come to the rescue wasn't working, unfortunately. Sonya begun laughing at the girl's emotional suffering starting up the flames as she opened the Diary Book; strictly forbidden from anyone viewing it.

Interpreting at what she's reading, Sonya found it as a joke more than something personal and dearing to Crystal on several aspects.

"If there's one thing that I wish for this world if I wasn't raised by angels, I'd want it destroyed and I refuse to let the inner evil of my character shine." Sonya seemed disappointed, due to her mentality and age, at the philosophical quotes Crystal's been keeping to herself. "This is some stupid stuff."

"Stop it!" Crystal yelled from underneath. "If you ruin that book I won't be able to write out my feelings about how I see the world in the future. Please stop it!"

Sadly, from the Amili gal's knowledge, beggers couldn't be choosers. Evading Crystal's plead and cry for trying her best to stop them, she didn't consider the insults, the threats that's bestowed.

The next one that Sonya read had struck a nerve from within. She had strangely and slowly read it a few times before she decided to say 'the hell with this book', "My life is nothing anymore because of my approach towards the likes of others because of what a flower represents in terms of seeking happiness but is too scared to show it."

No words were heard for a few moments, Sonya sat down on Crystal's bed, trying her best to look at it all, instantly realizing that she was running out of time. Lola, the Core General of nine years, was on her way up to give Crystal her last birthday gift of the day.

"Sonya, is everything cool?" Hitachi asked, squeezing Crystal's neck as tightly as she could hear herself scream in agony.

"Perhaps, I'm doing too much. But I refuse to even look at something like this." The Amili bully stated and back to her cruelty. "Naw, fuck this. I've read some things that are far better than this nonsense. I'm burning it."

"No," Crystal's azure eyes had been sparkling with tears streaming from her eyes.

Sonya took out a pocket knife and jabbed the book with every ounce of negative energy within her arm. After a few times, she thrust the knife in deeper than she expected.

Out of sarcasm, she spoke with sinner, "Oops, I didn't understand how important this book was to you, Crystal. What, are you going to cry to Lola like you always do? You tell her we did this, I will fuck you up indefinitely."

"Stop it, Sonya. Stop it!" Crystal squirmed immensely, the strength of the ropes were binded extremely tightly around her arms that she couldn't move even get loss. It couldn't budge, drastically wincing in pain, the more Hitachi and Alex's grips grew with.

Beforehand, Sonya walked over and drove her foot straight across the downed seven year-old's face with brute strength. Blood had smothered across her face as she turned onto her back.

Sonya's fists had flew left and right across Crystal's face. Punching her constantly for over a minute until she nearly ran out of breath, but started driving her fist into the gal's face with nothing but pure hatred growing even more.

Alex stood by and laughed while he kept his back on the wall, but Hitachi on the other hand, couldn't stomach the disturbance of the scene. He felt complex because he was forced into making a promise to Alex and Sonya that they'd remain his friends if he did everything he told them. On the other aspect, he'd lose their respect for trying to defend the girl that's being praised and loved more than he is by his own mother who rarely acknowledged his existence or anything of the above.

"Sonya," Hitachi mumbled for a second.

Alex heard him, but didn't think about sympathy he had in his eyes, "Hitachi. This is hilarious dude, how can you be so resisting to this? Lola is giving this girl more praise over you. He then broke into the scene and pressed his hands around Crystal's neck, trying to choke the life of the girl.

In an instant, regardless of anything at this point, he's no longer innocent in the situation, Hitachi in and pushed Sonya and Alex away from Crystal. He couldn't muster the heart to stand by and view the vital and disgusting actions of his fellow schoolmates.

"That's enough," Hitachi's voice boomed throughout the room, he then punched Alex in his right jaw; knocking his friend down, but also approached Sonya and shoved her with full force, knocking the gal on her ass. But in the process the Diary on the mattress flew into the chimney where the flames grew stronger once Sonya's right arm struck it.

To their surprise, Hitachi felt as if he did the right thing in a situation like this.

Bending down on his knees with the pocket knife he took from Sonya's left pocket, Hitachi untied the knots from behind Crystal, who was unconscious and bleeding from her knees, teeth and red huge marks on her cheeks.

Breathing heavily and mercilessly Hitachi blew up into resentment as he spoke, "Do you guys hate this girl that much, that you would sacrifice your own priviledges as Lola's adoptive siblings for it? I don't think that I need a reason to be friends with people who targets people weaker than them. You guys are such cowards and punks."

Outside the hallways, awaiting the arrival of the General, Sonya Amili thought back to that day and realized what she did was extremely inhuman and disgusting. Wishing she could take all of it back, it seemed far too late for all of it.

Alex patted the gal's shoulders with a crimson red smile on his face, acknowledging Sonya's mistakes and his as well.

"Hey, Sonya. chin up. We can't let our emotions get in the way until this is all over," Alex quoted, encouraging Sonya to not lose hope. "Sure we acted like such assholes to her back then, but crying about it isn't going to change the past."

"Like you're one to talk. You didn't show any sign of emotions or regrets either," Sonya giggled. However, she compared her actions to Crystal's cry for wanting friends and how it never occurred to her that Crystal's depression was at a magma-level after the horrendous events.

"You right," Alex stated, but quickly went into a soldier stance because they saw the Core General approaching the both of them.

Thinking back to what was going on, Lola placed her hands on Sonya's shoulders, trying her damnest to not feel the need to antagonize her young warrior, "Sonya, you made a mistake. You may seem enslaved by the past, but all that can change by the time this war is all said and done. We get Crystal back, you, Alex and Hitachi will all express your reasons for the seventh birthday and all those other times of you abusing her, she'll decide rather or not to forgive you."

"What if she doesn't forgive us? Nothing is perfect," Alex spoke out of turn.

"If she doesn't, then I'll talk to her about it," Lola answered. "Now we must get going. We don't have a lot of time and Black's group is going to release the Aruba Beast in less than forty-eight hours, so we'll have to be persistent about this mission."

The corners of Sonya's cheeks turned upward once she knew that there was more at stake than relying on the past. The good thing about Lola's personality is that she'd always find a particular way of doing things, even if they seem too unorthodox for people to understand.

Black remained in the chair with his scythe sat beside him. He hasn't moved a muscle in the last several hours since he killed Yumiko for attempting to betray him. He had done his research on the Black Crystal and recently found out that the Black Crystal was established and created by the first two hosts that held the Renugarasaka's powers before Lisa did.

Renasakuya had allowed her people to create a law of their own and personas they've developed in order to create and maintain a reputation of being the most demonic bloodline on the planet. Hence that Renasakuya was in terms of trying to destroy it before the word got out and started making others belive that it was false rumors. But to Black's knowledge, he saw it differently. Back around the ninth year the Bloodlust Revelation, Black had assigned Lisa to the Widow's Forest to have a confrontation and get inform
ation from the "PREVIOUS" Avarian Beast of the Amili family.

"Black," came the voice of Crystal's water-like voice. "I happened to gain some more information about the Avarian Beast of the Aruba family. If-- If your interest is peaked by it."

Black slowly thought about the success he's accomplished the for the gal and figured of returning the favor by listening, "Go ahead and speak your mind. I was just on the verge of asking you about the Aruba's history as well."

The two of the them had left out of the Leserado Balcony and ventured down the stairs to the main entrance of Leserado.

Spilling the resources and info, Crystal maintained her confidence and worked up the courage to tell Black the harsh truth about the backlash that would occur if Kuronina was awakened before the actual schedule.

"The Avarian Beast of the Aruba is in the shadows of a large bird, as we both saw when we was with Akihiro and the others," Crystal gently addressed, in terms that she noticed something that seemed forshadowing from the views of the Akuma Beasts and what their ultimate goals are. "You recall the day that you and I played Chess. This is symbolizing that Kuronina is expecting us to awaken her before the battle."

"Yes. Not sure what your point is though," Black was puzzled, for the first time in so many years. "Are you saying that Akihiro and his relatives have a tendency of spoiling our plans again and thinking that they could easily get away with it?"

Crystal was a tad bit nervous about Black's response, but stood her ground, "Yes, sir. I'm more than positive about this. Hence that the Aruba Beast was also a creature that was created by the kindness of another Aruba member that no one's ever seen or heard of before. I forgot her name, but it felt as if she was the very first Aruba to obtain the Diary Symbol power."

Hmm, Black seemed pleased that there was more theories as to why the Diary Symbols could have the power to create the Avarian Beast when the Beast came beforehand. If I'm not mistaken, Diamond did say, before she died, that she was apparently aware of these powers and I constantly kept being to inconsiderate about them until around the time Lola and group came to retrieve her. Perhaps I shouldn't have ignored her. It's a good thing I kept her daughter alive for I can find some way to give myself a second chance to figure it out.
