"Why should I trust an Avarian Beast after all the crap you've done to humans who have never done anything wrong?" Shizuka recalled the events from around the time Diamond Aruba was the Core General back in the first four years of her life. She then realized that the Amili Beast was on the verge of eradicating not only Ujikadaka Academy but as well as Intoxian Army Facility (the home base of North Coast).

"The only reason why I'm going to form a temporary alliance with you infamous humans," Renasakuya had halt in attempts to increase the intentions behind her actions. "Kuronina has to be broken from her icicle prison."

At the ends of Blue-Eyes Fortress, millions of ice scattered from every corner of the premise. Towering over it all was the form of a white-winged dim-gray bird. The beak was at a color of creamy peach-white. Two wings both in an eggshell color, All the feathers around it's body is painted in a color combination of midnight green and blue. It had the symbol of a moss green Angel embedded deeply onto its color.

I had lost my opportunity to prevent endearment and boundaries from going to war. I had lost my opportunity to prevent death from being unstoppable. I had lost my opportunity to prevent Fairy Tales from coming to the real world. But I guess as my brothers and sisters say, all humans are literally the exact same thing. If there's no peace, then there is only vendetta, bad blood between the human race and Avarian Beasts. That's why I despise them so much. They go through an unfortunate transformation to try and prove each other wrong on something. I don't understand what you've done to this world, God, but your children are all pathetic, the thoughts of the mythical, dark bird had spoken on a sinister tone. Maybe it had something to do with Black's plans to corrupt it for fifteen years before he'd injected his own sickening spirits within the heart of the creature.

Oh, Diamond. It appears that your baby doesn't have what it takes to have the wisdom that I've given you. You left me behind with these monsters by surrendering deliberately. You had all the answers. There was more knowledge that you could have given to this world and you willingly gave up without even trying. Trapping yourself in a damn world of solitude and depression. How pathetic are humans for being depressed when life gets too complicating, Kuronina's perspective have changed over the last seventeen years, even around the time Diamond was in charge, the seeds of doubt was planted within the blue-bird's mind and heart.

  Chapter 48 - Backlash Begins

  ***

Black's eyes were steered down at the individuals with his scythe sheathed behind his back. He had felt as if his body couldn't necessarily keep up with the battle any longer. The Grim Reaper had considered on kicking the bucket of letting his body heal a lot easier.

"I think I've invested my time in fighting you Intoxian Heroes. I'm going to allow my associates to take care of the rest while I deal with Kuronina. After all, it's like Renasakuya stated, she has be awake by now," Black kept his voice calm and to a minimum.

But Shizuka wasn't going to allow the beastly Reaper to finish the last part of his task, taking absolute control of the Aruba Avarian Beast anymore than he's already had.

The Amili Beast stepped forward and had taken her time to confront the Grim Reaper, only to be stopped by Charlie Mizuka once against. It may seem as if Charlie and Emerald had a better chance to defeating the Amili Beast, but that was due to the fact that she didn't have reinforcements and she was far more concerned about the safety of everyone around her. The quality of Renasakuya's combat skills and intellectual skills are extremely high.

"You are not going to get in my way again," Renasakuya uttered fiercely charging through Charlie with her webs forming into an enhanced spear as she turned herself around and aimed it towards her adversary.

She triggered the attack of Webbed Spear at the enemy. She then shot out a few more after it missed the the Mizuka Assassin.

Charlie ducked in time to strike the Amili Beast with one of his quick attacks, desperately trying to impale the creature from underneath and hit her head on. On the contrary, Renasakuya had developed her prowess and bounced highly in the air, universally expanding more giant legs around her body than what any average spider should normally have. Somehow she managed to manipulate the total number of her legs and accumulate from eight to sixteen. It's given her a more slithering chance of an advantage to counter all of Charlie's attacks.

She then landed on all sixteen with her sinister, spine-bending teeth at the enemy. It didn't faze Charlie or the other Bloodlust members, but it did surprise Tornado and the rest of the creatures that were watching in fear. They soon begun to have some theoreotical aspects to why the Avarian Beasts were the strongest creatures to ever compete against the human race on the planet.

Ninety-nine percent of the time, armies and organizations from every corner of the world had doubtely underestimated the Avarians when it came to the cockiness and arrogances. Unfortunately when it came to the Avarian Beasts (rulers over the Avarian race), the humans have consistently been overwhelmed with single breath, it became extremely clear that the Avarians and Intoxians were at a war, even from before Diamond was General, the Avarians have always had a suspicions regarding the variety of things that most of the Intoxians are capable of doing anything to eradicate their bloodline.

Charlie released the blade from within his armored gloves and lightened his way at the creature. Renasakuya, created a huge block of webs to protect herself and (supposedly) Shizuka from Charlie's assault. She then turned her body around, signaling the Western General to strike back and engage the Mizuka member of Bloodlust.

Charlie blazed out a series of flaming showers at the Amili Beast with her eight eyes staring at images. She then smirked as she crawled her way over and used her skull to deform the wall of her webs and had a gigantic tsunami of her specialty trailing directly at anything that by god moved in her path.

Hiba stepped in and took the blow as she swung her sword straight at the webbed ocean; triggering her attack once the Tushurago Stareyes (Stage Three = For this stage; Hiba can instantly manipulate the gravity of a moving object with just a swish of her sword and launching it in the opposing direction.) She then blazed her way at Renasakuya with her sword developing into sheer, brute armor but it the weight of the sword was a lot lighter.

In the meantime Crystal had escaped the battlefield to retreat back to Black and Blue-Eyes Fortress. Black was waiting patiently with Crystal had decided to not waste anymore time as she used the Eagle Symbol to speed up, according to the Reaper's speed and how he was able to escape instantly.

Man he's fast, Crystal thought to herself. I need to know more about the Beast's power and how I can gain complete control of it, Crystal's heart was telling her to tail the monstrous mentor of her own free will.

Heading deeper into the bold blackness of Leserado, Shiver and Ivy had finally made it to the entrance of the prison-like level. It took them less than two whole hours to achieve their goals and reach the Lobby. All they heard was a massive battle erupted wildly with their hearts racing through excitement.

"This is going to be very intense. We need to send in reinforcements," Ivy had suggested with her ears flopping; catching the sounds of footsteps from the far end of the Prison Corridor. They both turned themselves around and saw Mikeru Amili standing behind them.

They both saw his sword out in play as they decided to ask him a few questions before they decide to behead him. Ivy had strong hopes that Mikeru wasn't trying to attack them head-on, so she ordered Shiver to lower her guard for the time being and wait to ask the Amili member of Lisa's family something.

"Mikeru, we know why you're here. It's time that you explain why you went missing for so long, three years at the very least," Ivy demanded with Shiver trying to smash down the door.

"Listen, I don't have time answering to you. What's more important is why the fuck didn't you guys come in and get me out of the Intoxicated Asylum when I needed you two?" Mikeru seemed disappointed and frustra
ted.

"Well apparently, because you're one of my best warriors and according to your logic, you said it yourself that you could handle everything. Even siding Black for a short period would have been something worth doing," Mikeru stated with his heart slowing down. "But the only thing that I need to say is that there's more to Black than just the Avarian Beasts. I don't know what he's attempting to do at this point, but it's a possibility that he'd only want to use the Aruba Beast in order to absorb it into his body. Like he'd want to merge with it and have all the knowledge that he can easily gain from it. Hence that some of the organizations of from the South and Northeast coasts are on the move to Leserado. It may sound strange as hell, but you need to comprehend the fact that if Kuronina doesn't get put down, all hell is going to break loose world-wide and no one will be safe."

Ivy couldn't agree more with Mikeru's experiences with the Bloodlust Revelation or the Cyrius groups. The theory from Shiver became highly clear to why Mikeru couldn't show up after she thought he was dead.

"Mikeru, there's something that puzzled me that I wasn't able to understand," Shiver uttered. "When you were that Asylum for the last two years, why didn't you use your Energy Signal to contact me so I can get you out? Now it made perfect sense, you wanted to get locked up on purpose so that way things won't be so complicating for us to reach Leserado and pinpoint your location, correct."

"I wouldn't say that, if you're going by the fact that I was assigned to a horrendous, life-threatening task, Head-Administrator. What are we going to do now? We're stuck down here with no way out except through here, but even that's too damn risky," Mikeru wasn't highly foolish to make a statement like that. He began to realize that it'd been difficult for him to tell Shiver that Akihiro was killed not too long ago by Black's hands.

Shiver then looked back at the entrance and saw what's been going on with some of the locks. It finally clicked in her head that the locks were switching numbers.

"Mikeru, you're extremely intelligent when solving puzzles, correct?" Shiver recalled the skills the Amili member of her team has.

"I'm very fluent in the mystery field. There's not a single piece I couldn't decipher," Mikeru bragged with his eyes narrowing with determination. "Whatever it is you want to break a part, I'll do that."

"Now, those locks on the door kept on changing and--"

"Yeah-yeah, I knew that part. Should the codes be unlocked and boom, we get make our way out of it," Mikeru made Shiver believe he was trying to contradict himself.

"That is if you're willing to solve it in time," came another voice that had gun pointed straight all three of them.

Swiftly turning their body around, they saw the appearance of Sagere N. Mizuka.

"Perhaps I can help you fools with that if there's nothing wrong with trying to be killed by my hands," Sagare had an intrigue, deep British onyx-like voice. The blood in his body had gradually, grew for hunger. He couldn't take the fact that his part within the Intoxian Army was proven wrong.

"You're dead wrong about that, Sagare," came the next voice that appeared behind him. "That's pretty big talk for a solo entity with no backup."

Sagare sighed aggrivatedly, "You fools keep popping out of thin air like a bunch of clouds and interfering without plans."

"Well boo-hoo, asshole," the Apex Magician applied with a series of snakes of all the elements she's mastered standing behind her and side by side.

All the forms the serpents emerged in were water, fire, ice, grass, metal, light, dark, lightning and earth.

"Rouge Mizuka, there's something special about you that I like. You've pretty much always held yourself accountable to take control of certain situations. But don't forget who taught you all those special movements."

Rouge had brushed herself away from her enemy. It wasn't enough for Sagare to be appealed to the strength. There are times when he was training Rouge to contain all the elements in the world of Intoxia in order to achieve the title of Apex Magician.

The Apex Magician was on the verge of engaging at Sagare with full force. She was determined to become a diversion for Mikeru to decode the locks to escape from the bottom level.

"I'm going to take on Sagare, you guys. You take care of that," Rouge had commanded with a tone of respect without trying to get the two determined to get through the door.

"Please be careful, Rouge," Shiver advised cautiously. Rouge, for a playful and silly woman, you sure know how to show some kind of craziness. It's a good thing that you've showed up at Leserado.

Rouge's character had always develpoed and redeveloped before, during or after sensitive events involving crisis. She's been willing to make her mind throughout any situation, desperate to take the huge role on challenging someone very crucial and perilous.

"You haven't changed a bit," Rouge's mentor, Shiver, uttered with a warm smile on her face. "Alright, Mikeru, I leave this to you. We don't have a lot of time to--"

Just a few moments ago, a chilling hallowing whistle blew from one end of Corridor Prison to the where the four warriors stood. It wasn't too long before they realize that Black was on his way to where they're standing. In the blink of an eye, the inside of Rouge's body was quaking. Despite the attempt to take on Sagare, her plans had been sent into a whirlwind situation.

Black had stormed in, but surprisingly enough, he surged through everyone that got in his way without even trying to attack them. Never did he even bother glaring at them nor did it occur to him to unleash his scythe from his back and decapitating their skulls clean off.

Before they had a chance to even turn around, they detected Crystal's presence, even though they didn't know the sudden facial and physical alternations on the fifteen year-old's body.

Rouge jumped in fear and failed to recongnize who the gal was. It was so sudden that the four of them were staring endlessly at the entity who had her blade sticking out.

"Who the hell are you?" Rouge exclaimed with both her paws enguled in a huge speck of flames swirling around. "State your business here."

Crystal had an evil and naughty expression that nearly resembled Lisa's character of what she's typically known for as a succubus.

"I'll be the one asking the questions. The one thing that I need to do is crush you," Crystal applied innocently but it sounded far more notorious-like. "If there's a possibility Rouge that you need to go and see your sister, Lola, you may not have that much time before she dies. But don't worry, you'll be the next citizen to go to the afterlife. Kuronina has been awakened. I'm opposing this battle for something significant values."

Shiver's heart stunned her. It wasn't like for the younger member of her family to behave this way. Instantly, she realized what the problem was. The Head-Adminstrator took notice and felt a corrupted overflow. It made her make a dull move, but had no choice but to engage the Aruba member.

"Crystal, we need to know what's going on with you," Shiver stated, creating a huge mist of snow forming shifting into the shape of a white, frozen sword.

"Why do you care? These last seven years of you being around was never enough. I have been set free from the lies and the cheats that you've all bestowed upon me. You've even defied your own laws about honest and loyalty, Shiver. There's no need for me to tell you anything," Crystal's voice beamed with fierce in her eyes, avoiding nothing but sadness. "I'm willing to be the next hostess of the Avarian Beast of the Aruba Bloodline; I'll stop at nothing to get what I want."

Suspecting that there was something that inspired this new bold, but twisted character of Crystal, Shiver made an immediate thought and considered the fact that her cousin was simultaneously brainwashed by the Grim Reaper himself.

Crystal then felt her thought patterns interceped when Black had managed to link his Energy Signal to the neon purple-haired girl with an ambition to return to Blue-Eyes Fortress.

Crystal, the Beast Awaits you, Black's loyalty to Crystal had been enriched with even a fruitless vibe. I did promise that you can take control of the infamous beast tha
t I've clearly taken control of.

OK, I'll be there momentarily. I've sort of have my hands full, Crystal stated truthfully.

Take your time, I'll be communicating with Kuronina for the time being. It's only a feasible that she's only willing to grant you her powers. For a reason that I don't know, it may be based on some of the events that happened fifteen years earlier. It's rare that the Avarian Beasts trust humans now, but that's all about to change, young one, Black retorted, energizing the novice member of Bloodlust the information she needed.

"It's time that I get through to you guys and be on my way. It's I start making the choices to be determined to get what I need and what I'm working so hard for," Crystal quoted mysteriously.

"Worked hard for?" Shiver was confused on what's been going on. She instantly detected a source of vendetta. Maybe some justification. Whatever the truth was, it wasn't going to be the easiest one for anyone to pull. "I don't know what Black's done to you, Crystal, but I'm ambitious enough to stop you. I won't go for the kill, but I'll have no other choice to but to stop you from doing something so foolish."

The foul mask on Shiver showed how obnoxious she became. Not every day Rouge or Mikeru have seen her like this. Despite the contempt situation, Shiver felt her going down to the coldest temperature to enhance the force of her snow abilities.

"I will do what I must to take your behead you and place it on the top of the Leserado as a symbolism warning to the world that the Bloodlust Revelation are capable of annihilating humanity with its' irresistable grip of chaos. There were times when my Mother could have been dealt with by you fools and you've taken advantage of her without second thougths and let go on her die."

Shiver's eyes sparked with misforture. Crystal was ultimately confused about the scenario of Diamond's death.

"Crystal, why would you say something like that?" Rouge felt dramatically hurt with her voice breaking down. "We loved your mother so much that we'd go to the extreme to do what she stood by. That's one of the laws of the Intoxian Army, we encourage, not abandon one another."
