“Yup. I served under him in Syria.”

Sabrina glanced back at the house. “Why are you here?”

  “I’m his mom’s . . . assistant.”

Sabrina knew he wasn’t exactly telling the truth, but also knew there was nothing untoward in what Casey did for Grace. There was no hint of anything sexual in his manner or emotions. He was very protective of Grace and thought of her like a second mother. He would die for her.

  “You’re her bodyguard?” she asked.

  Casey’s eyebrows raised. “Kinda.”

  “Why?”

He looked hesitant to answer. “Chase wanted someone here for her since he travels so much. He’s really protective of those he cares about. I can’t do what I used to do, so he asked me to watch over her.”

“Why can’t you do what you used to?”

Casey lifted his pant leg to reveal a steel post where his leg should be. “Got blown off in Syria.” He shrugged when she gasped. “Sorry. Didn’t mean to offend.”

Sabrina shook her head. “No, it’s . . . I’m so sorry, Casey.” She gazed up into his proud face and wondered if it had happened the same time Chase got hurt.

Casey laughed. “It’s okay. What’s done is done.” He grinned. “Besides, I get to stay in a cushy townhouse most of the time instead of skulking through jungles and deserts. Can’t really complain.”

Sabrina wondered at his words. How could he see the good in what happened to him? Wouldn’t he rather be whole and be able to do what he’d done before?

The door opened behind her and Damian stepped out before she could contemplate anymore. He looked between her and Casey and arched a brow. “Ready?” he asked. Sabrina nodded.

“Shall I call your car, sir?” Casey asked, straightening into a formal pose.

Damian shook his head. “I already texted Quinn.” He looked down the street and smiled. “He’s coming.”

Casey bowed slightly and hurried down the steps, opening the door when the car stopped at the curb. “Have a good evening,” he said with a slight bow as Sabrina got in, Damian close behind.

Sabrina stared at her hands, thinking about Casey. What an unusual man to see the good in what happened. She didn’t understand how he could, but she admired him for it.

“Are you okay?” Damian asked, putting his hand on her knee.

Sabrina gave a practiced smile and put her hand on his. “Yes. Sorry.”

She slid her hand up his leg, clearing her thoughts so she could concentrate on what Damian wanted.

He looked startled and grasped her wrist. “I didn’t offer to take you home so I could sleep with you.”

She froze and stared at him. “What? Why not?”

“I mean, you’re a very attractive young woman, but you really did look unwell. I just wanted to be sure you got home safely.”

Sabrina didn’t understand. “You touched me . . . on the roof.”

Damian sighed. “Well, you were rather sexy like that. I shouldn’t have, though. I’m truly sorry.”

Sabrina clasped her hands in her lap and stared at them, not knowing what to say or do.

“I don’t suppose you’re hungry, are you?” he asked after a few minutes of silence.

She blinked, surprised at the question. “Are you?”

“Not really, but if it means I don’t have to take you home straight away, I’ll eat.” He gave her such an endearing smile, she couldn’t help but relax.

She smiled, amused at his bluntness and charming smile. “I think I might be able to eat.”

Damian took her to a small Greek restaurant downtown. His forthrightness quickly put her at ease. He didn’t play games or seem like he was trying to manipulate her. She found herself laughing at his silly jokes and stories.

Toward the end of dinner, she saw him looking, not very subtly, at her cleavage and she felt tingles running through her body. She hadn’t orgasmed with Aiden before, and Damian was so nice and non-threatening, she was beginning to want him. She leaned forward to give him a better view and he grinned.

“I like the dress,” he commented, taking a sip of wine. “And what I can see beneath it.”

“It’s not fair that men cover up to look nice and women wear less.”

Damian laughed. “It’s because men’s bodies aren’t meant to be entrancing. You’re supposed to fall for our commanding presence and raw power. Women are made to be beautiful and tame our raging egos.”

“Oh really?” she asked, a teasing smile on her face. “You’ve thought a lot about this?”

“I think about a lot of things. This subject, the difference between men and women? Yes, quite a bit.”

  “Why?”

“Because I find people fascinating. How people think. Why they do the things they do. What makes them change their minds about something.”

“Are you a psychologist?” she asked, realizing she didn’t know what he did for a living.

He laughed. “Although it is a favorite subject of mine, no, I’m just a boring lobbyist.”

  “You hardly seem boring.”

“Why, thank you. That’s one of the nicest things you could say to a boring lobbyist.”

She laughed at the mock-humble expression on his face and decided she liked Damian. He was funny and interesting.

“So, what do you do when you’re not dancing?” he asked.

“Not much. Dancing takes up a lot of time.”

  “How did you meet Aiden?”

Sabrina bit her lip. “He’s playing Drosselmeyer.”

Damian nodded. “Ah. That’s right. He told me that. I should have put two and two together.”

Sabrina shrugged and fidgeted with her napkin.

“Are you two dating? I don’t quite understand the relationship between the two of you.”

  “No. Not exactly.”

  “Fuck buddies?”

“What?” Sabrina looked up. “What’s that?”

Damian laughed. “You’re friends, but you have sex when you need it. Friends with benefits.”

“Oh. Yeah, I guess it’s like that.”

“No real lines are drawn around your relationship?”

She nodded, not knowing what to say.

“I did think it was odd that he said I could have you. You like being shared?”

“I guess he likes it.” She shrugged.

  Damian frowned. “What about you?”

Sabrina stared at her empty plate. Aiden hadn’t shared her with anyone. Until tonight. “I’m willing to try it.”

He stared at her for a long time. “Does he have some sort of hold on you? Some sort of blackmail or something?”

She pressed her lips together. She couldn’t tell anyone about their arrangement. “No, not exactly. It’s just . . . how things are.”

He reached across the table and stroked her arm. “Hey, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.”

“It’s hard to explain,” she said finally and looked up at him. “I can’t really say much more.”

“Can I tell you something?” Damian asked, lowering his voice and leaning toward her. “You must promise not to repeat it.”

“You probably shouldn’t say things you’re not supposed to.”

He smiled. “Smart woman. Okay, I won’t spell it out. I’ll just say that I think I know what you’re going through. I think I’m in a similar situation with him.”

  Sabrina’s head snapped up. “What?”

“He’s making you do things you don’t necessarily want to do because he knows something or has something, right?”

Her eyes filled with tears. “What does he make you do?” She could almost feel his pain.

Damian looked away, looking ashamed. “I’d rather not say.”

Sabrina reached out to put her hand on his
. “I know how you feel,” she said, her voice cracking.

He looked back at her and squeezed her hand. “Maybe we can somehow help each other through it?” His eyes were so full of hope, it hurt her heart.

She nodded. “That would be nice.”

After they finished eating, Damian had his driver take them to her apartment. He rode up the elevator with her and walked her to the door.

“Thank you for dinner,” she said sincerely. “I had a really good time.”

Damian grinned. “I did, as well. I’m glad you bumped into me at the party.”

She smiled. “It did turn out to be a good thing, didn’t it?”

“It did.” He smiled at her, his eyes intense. “Do you mind if I kiss you?” he asked, his voice soft.

When she left the party, she’d resigned herself to doing as he’d asked. Now that she knew Aiden had a hold on both of them, she wanted to be with him. Maybe they could comfort each other. A thrill ran through her body. “Not at all,” she whispered.

He slid his hand around her waist and pulled her close. His eyes darkened as he bent down and slowly, gently, pressed his lips to hers. His other arm wrapped around her and she slid her arms around his neck. His tongue darted out, teasing her lips apart. He nipped her bottom lip and she gasped against his mouth at the slight pain. It sparked desire deep inside her belly and she pressed her hips against his. He groaned and pinned her against the wall.

He pressed his mouth firmly against hers, tongue now invading her mouth. She moaned against him. One hand moved down to her rear, the other up her side, brushing the side of her breast. She moaned again, his touch fanning the spark of desire into flames as he caressed the outside of her breast with his thumb.

She ran her hands down his back and pulled him toward her. Her body was on fire. Her pussy tingled with want.

He kissed down her neck, and she tilted her head to allow him better access.

“Am I being too forward?” he whispered, biting her earlobe, which shot blood straight to her pussy. His hand slid down to her ass and he yanked her against himself.

“No,” she moaned as he bit her earlobe again. He kissed down her chest to the tops of her breasts and cupped one, pushing it up while pulling her dress down slightly with his thumb. Oh, so close to being able to take her nipple into his mouth!

“Let’s go inside,” he whispered, pulling away. “Your neighbors don’t need a show.”

Sabrina nodded and unlocked the door with trembling hands. Once inside, she took his hand to lead him to her bedroom, but he shook his head. “I don’t want to take you to bed. Yet,” he added with a wicked grin. He kissed her hard, backing her up until she was against the door. “But I wanted a little bit of privacy to go a bit further.”

He reached behind her and unzipped her dress, just enough so he could pull the straps off her shoulders, then bent and started kissing the tops of her breasts again. Lower . . . lower . . . lower . . . until he reached the very edge of her areola. She moaned softly and arched her back toward him, wanting his mouth on her. He chuckled and pulled her dress lower, his mouth following, until her nipple was exposed to the cool air of the room.

She gasped as he licked it gently. Again. And again. She pushed her breast toward him. He grabbed her hands with one hand, anchoring them behind her back. He pulled her dress down with the other hand, exposing her breasts.

“Beautiful,” he whispered and licked the tip of the other breast . . . over and over.

Her nipples felt as hard as rocks. His tongue danced at the tip and she whimpered and wiggled, trying to get him to take it into his mouth.

“You want more?” he asked in a husky voice.

  “Uh-huh,” she whispered.

He knelt in front of her, still holding her hands behind her with one hand, and stroked her thigh with his other. His thumb ran along her inner thigh. She stepped her legs apart as he stroked higher and higher. He pushed her dress up above her hips, exposing her thong. He grinned and kissed her thigh, traveling up, up, up, until he reached the junction of her thigh and pussy.

“You smell delicious,” he growled and kissed her clit gently over her thong.

“Oh God,” she moaned, stepping her legs farther apart, wanting more. Wanting his mouth on her.

He reached up and took one nipple between his thumb and forefinger and rolled it gently at first. Then a bit harder. Then a bit harder still. All the while, she felt moisture flooding between her legs.

  “Please . . .”

“Please what?” he asked in a husky voice. “What do you want me to do?”

“I-I don’t know,” she admitted desperately.

He pinched her nipple hard and she gasped, her knees nearly collapsing. Then he glided his fingers down her stomach to her thong. He slid his hand across her abdomen, his thumb tantalizingly close to her clit.

“Yes,” she whispered as it brushed over the rock-hard nub.

He slid his fingers beneath the scrap of cloth and moved it aside, exposing her most intimate place. He leaned forward and kissed the swollen lobes, then his tongue darted between them.

She gasped and let out a cry as he spread her open with two fingers and flicked her clit with the tip of his tongue.

Her eyes rolled back into her head as she felt the fire in her belly. A finger slipped inside her and she bent forward, gasping for air as pleasure stole her breath. Feeling the finger slide out, she opened her eyes to see him put it into his mouth. Their eyes met as he sucked on it. The heat in his eyes melted her to the core.

“As delicious as I expected,” he rasped.

He slid his finger inside her again and she could hardly breathe for the pleasure. She gasped for air as he thrust in and out gently. His eyes glinted wickedly as hers widened with the stirring of an orgasm. He leaned forward and licked her clit again, finger still inside her.

“Oh!” she exclaimed as he rubbed the top of her channel. Then he pressed forward and sucked hard on her clit, instantly sending her into the throes of passion. Her body erupted into flames as pleasure overtook her. She couldn’t breathe, couldn’t think. Her legs collapsed under her as she soared through a firestorm of ecstasy, watching golden fireworks explode behind her eyelids.

When she could think again, she realized she was lying on the floor, Damian’s hands on her hips, his mouth against her pussy, kissing and licking gently.

She shuddered with aftershocks, then lay limp.

Damian’s face appeared above her. “Did you enjoy that?” he asked, a smile in his eyes.

She nodded enthusiastically. “Oh God, yes.”

He kissed the tip of her breast. “I did, too.”

“You did?” She’d never heard of a man enjoying a woman’s orgasm before.

“What’s not to enjoy? Watching you come like that was . . .” He shivered. “Amazing. And you are delicious. You came all over my face.”

Sabrina felt her cheeks warm. “I’m sorry.”

  “Don’t be. I love a woman’s cum.”

She gave him a shy smile, then reached for his belt. “Let me do the same for you.”

He put his hand on hers and shook his head. “No. Not tonight.”

She frowned. “Why not?” She could see his cock straining against his pants.

“Because I want to make you come again.”

  “I don’t understand.”

“You don’t have to.” He smiled, then positioned himself between her legs again. She briefly wondered what Jayson would think if he saw them lying on the floor, her dress pushed up to her hips and Damian’s face buried between her legs, but when he started licking and sucking, she lost all thought. Her body exploded once more, and it seemed to go on and on and on.

  “Sabrina?”

A faint voice drifted into her consciousness, but she couldn’t respond. She was los
t in the golden richness of pleasure. She vaguely felt herself being lifted and laid on something soft. Then darkness took her and she knew nothing more.

  Chapter Twenty-Six

Damian knocked on Aiden’s door, then tapped his foot as he waited for it to open. When it finally did, Aiden’s hair was mussed and his clothes wrinkled.

“I don’t like being a jerk to her,” Aiden snapped as he stepped back to let Damian inside. “She’s a sweet girl.”

Damian frowned. “It’s not for you to like. It’s for you to do.” He strode down the hallway and into the living room, sitting down on the couch and waiting for Aiden to follow. The fireplace was lit and the lights were off, making the shadows in the elegantly furnished room dance against the walls.

Aiden sat across from him and ran his hands through his hair. “I don’t know why I let you talk me into this. This isn’t me.”

Damian shrugged. “But you did agree. That’s the only thing that matters.” He tilted his head. “You desired what I offered, not to mention the privilege of being with Sabrina whenever you wanted. And, as soon as she is safely back in my arms, you will have the pick of roles in whatever movie you want from now on.”

“How does me controlling her make her want to run to you?”

“She’s clearly afraid of you. She’ll do whatever you ask. And hate you for it. She’ll be ripe for rescue within a few months.” A grin spread across Damian’s face. “I’ll be her hero and save her from you. No one will ever know, except the two of us. You don’t need to worry.”

Aiden stared into the fire. “I’m not that kind of man, Damian. I don’t get off on hurting women.”

“Maybe you should. She’s quite delectable when she’s in pain.”

Aiden frowned. Damian narrowed his eyes. “I think you need a reminder of who is in charge. You are not to question me. You are to do as we agreed. Come suck my cock.”

Aiden stood and knelt in front of Damian. His eyes were hard and he sneered, but he undid Damian’s pants. “You really like being sucked off by men? Why not use Sabrina?” He bent over and did as Damian commanded.

Damian smiled. “Not men in particular. I enjoy being sucked off by those who don’t want to do it. I enjoy knowing you detest the act of licking my cock, but do it anyway because you must. I enjoy the power.” He sighed as Aiden tugged on his balls. “Sabrina has to think of me as under your thumb so we can bond and I can rescue her. Then I’ll have her mouth on my cock all the time.” He smiled down at the other man. “I love your humiliation.”
