Mina's Vampire Mate

She smiled at him, “I would love to.”

“It’s a date.” Neo said. He put his bag next to hers.

Davik smiled at him, “This is the first time I have seen you truly happy. You two are definitely a mated pair. And now we can visit the scientists since they have been working on a device that can not only track Vampire Witches, but Trackers as well.”

  Neo smiled, “Yess!”

And Neo and Mina followed Davik through the compound. She loved the look of it. And Davik got to a door and opened it with his keycard.

“We also have communication stuff here, maps of the area, even security systems. We have a forcefield around here that is undetectable,” he said, She was happy and didn't need to worry about it. She loved the tour. And she and Neo followed Davik to a lab. There was a guy working on a tablet thing and lab equipment on the desk along with a notebook and pen.

The guy had blue eyes, and cut short dark blonde hair. He even had brown mixed with his blonde and he was dressed in a white lab coat with a blue shirt underneath.

He was also like her. She could feel it. He was half and half like her. He looked up at her and smiled, “Ahh perfect you are here. My name is Damon Stone.”

She smiled at him, “Mina nice to meet you.”

“I think I have perfected the device better. I have high witchblood since it has magical properties, but I am missing Lillith’s blood and Tracker blood. After that then it will be perfect for tracking. It tunes into energy and blood from high powerful lines are connected to every new one. I just need to have Lilith's blood for the vampire side since she is the mother of all. And Tracker for obvious reasons, any Tracker will do so I can synthesize it.” He said with a lost look.

She smiled at him, “I have an idea of where to get Tracker blood and someone who will try to get me back.”

He looked at her, “He will be back and I know where we can get the blood since there is a place only high level vampires can reach. It not only has Lillith’s blood, but the sword as well. We need to talk to you and dad over this. He can help with that,” he said.

  Mina looked at him, “True.”

Neo smiled, “Your dad would know where to get it and he will need our help since he wanted to get the sword.”

She smiled, “Yes, and I can tell him how everything went, too.”

Davik smiled, “Looks like we have a plan and once we get the device running you can help us find the others.”

She nodded, “Exactly, part of a team.”

“Together.” Neo said. And she was happy about the way things finally came along. Neo held her against him, and gave her a kiss.

Davik smiled, “And you have your mission which means you don’t need my help yet. Call me when you are done.”

  And he left.

Neo, Mina, and Damon were alone.

Neo said, “You can count on us.”

Damon smiled, “And then we can track the others down.” And he gave them vials to put the blood in.

  “Yes.” Mina said.

Neo and Mina left and went to their place. Neo opened the door, and he sat down. Mina sat down next to him.

“It feels good to sit down. And now we have an idea of where to go next. It won’t be easy,” he said.

“No, but that is what makes it fun,” she said.

He smiled at her, “That’s my girl, always up for a challenge.”

“Yes, especially with you,” and she kissed him. She was that happy with him and she didn’t want anyone else. She was happy things were getting better. Cuddling some was on the menu, but she also needed to talk to her dad to tell him about everything. And at last, her ex was good for something and it was her turn to get revenge for the good of her kind. It was almost like karma hated him too. She knew it would be sweet.

And she needed to talk to dad, so she grabbed her cell phone and dialed his number.

  Ring...Ring.

  “Hello?” her dad said.

“Hey, so we made it to the place and you’ll never guess what happened..” she said.

  “What?” he asked.

“They have a device here that will help us track down others like me, but it is missing some stuff. It could not only help me but Trackers, too. That way we can see if one is close before getting the hybrids. There are just a few more items they are missing to get it up and running: Lillith’s blood and Tracker blood,” she said.

Silence… “I know you can get the Tracker blood through him and as for Lillith’s well..It might be worth it for me to go with you all to get it and I can bring my guards. There is also a sword I need and it’s housed there along with Lilith's blood. I also know where the ruins are and it would be a good bonding experience for all of us,” he said.

She smiled, “If you want to come along with us you can. It would be awesome to see you in action. We can meet at your place.”

Neo said, “Yes it would be an honor to be side by side with him.”

“Great, we can meet at my place and take the limo there. I look forward to helping you. Let's meet at six, my mansion,” he said,

“Agreed see you then,” she said. And she hung up.

Neo smiled, “It will be a good bonding experience. I knew the sword would have been with the blood. I just didn’t know he wanted to come with us and the more the merrier in this case. Some of his guards are probably begging to get some action.”

She smiled, “Yes, and a good experience for us all.”

“Definitely, and it also means there is time to kill so what did you want to do?” He asked while winking at her.

She thought about it, “We could always make love again. I could use some stress relief.”

  He grinned, “Perfect.”

And they did for a few hours since it was what both of them needed. They definitely needed that time. Mina already was less stressed since Neo’s a good stress reliever, way better than alcohol. She couldn’t believe how lucky she was to have him. It was a blessing. She was happier now than she has ever been. She was really going to enjoy everything. Soon it was time to meet her dad to get the stuff. Mina and Neo both prepared for it by suiting up.

Neo got his swords and guns holstered one on each side. He was in his trench coat and in all black. Mina even wore her battle stuff: a special robe that deflected magic and some physical attacks. She had her spell staff, too since she did need fireball spells.

And you have me, her wolf said in her head.

  And me, Neo said.

She was way stronger now that she embraced both sides and way faster. Even still she knew it wouldn’t be easy. She even wondered how Lillith would take it since only worthy vampires can take her blood. She was her goddess at one point doing vampire and blood magic for her dad’s clan and others. She had to stop thanks to Derek. Now she can come back to her and help vampires again.

She really loved the future now that her ex wasn’t ruining her life. He was about to be taken care of since his blood is needed to help people. She packed her special spell bag which was the size of a purse. She was excited yet scared and she had the vial for both Lillith and her ex. They were both ready, and the next thing they had to do was meet her dad at his place.

They left the apartment and headed to the garage. Now all suited up, nothing could stop them now. They headed out to see her dad so they could get the items in the vampire ruins. The way there was filled with excitement and tension. Mina was happy things were close to being over since that is what she wanted for the longest time.

It’s easy for her to feel normal now. She was excited to have a purpose now and it could definitely work out in the end. Before they knew it, they were pulling up to meet her dad. They met him in the garage and Neo parked in a parking spot and spotted the limo there. Neo and Mina got out of the car, and opened the door to the limo. They slid in and she saw her dad was there along with a few guards. Neo and Mina sat together. He had his two trusted guards with him, too. Her dad was dressed in all black, too along with a few swords, and guns. T
he guards wore their uniforms, too and even had swords and guns as well. She knew them since they were Blaine and Levi, the twin vampires with the powers of fire since vampires are given elements like witches as well. They also got blood from victims and used vampire magic with blood. She knew they were the ones skilled in combat and guns. They could also conjure flaming zombies which are highly indestructible.

Her dad smiled, “I figured you can use my help and I know the way pretty well since I go there a lot for high level spells. Also, I do talk to Lillith since she is my goddess after all. We were talking about you, Mina and she will be happy to hear you are coming back. The place she has was taken over by a bunch of rogue witches and she needed our help. If we help her then she will give us the blood and sword.”

Mina looked at him, “I thought no one knew where it was.”

He sighed, “The same contact who told your ex where you were also blabbed to his coven about the vampire stuff. It went against others, too. The witches never wanted vampire stuff but this one not only wanted it but used innocents to corrupt everything. So, the witches were overrun by them with some members taken there as well. They used it to hide out and they don’t know I know about it. That is another reason why since we need to rescue the ones taken. They are people from your mom’s coven.”

Neos eyes widened, “A rescue mission, too? I never thought I would see the day where witches would want to take over this one.”

Draven sighed, “This has been an ongoing issue and one that has come to head here. I learned about it earlier and that is why I was happy she called and told me. I figured with the sword we can keep the war down to a minimum or get rid of the person in charge of the rogue group. Then, it will make it all disappear or at the very least show that a war is a bad idea. Especially since vampires are stronger than witches and if we show them we are all united, we can all fight the threat instead of each other. That is why I was happy when Mina was there since it means we can all live together and not against each other.”

Neo sighed, “We should all be in harmony and when the threat appears, we can all be better prepared. Hybrids are the way to unite everyone, take your daughter for example. By being tied to me, I made her stronger once I bonded to her and reversed the damage the Tracker has done to her. It made her stronger, faster, and in time people will see it and hopefully we can all be in harmony and come together when a worse threat arrives.”

Mina thought about it, “I hope they can all be united. Before the Tracker stuff I was helping witches and vampires alike and they liked it. Only the Tracker hated it since they can’t stand us since we are half…”

She didn’t want to talk about it, but she didn’t have a choice. He was everything she hated in someone. She also needed him dead, and was happy to have that. She knew she could stop him when the time came and it will be good to get even with him. After a while in the limo, it stopped in a wooded area.

“We are here,” Draven said. Everyone prepared for battle with guns all locked and loaded and spells out. This would be one fight that she was actually ready for since she wanted it to end once and for all with her not having to hide anymore and stop the threat.

  Chapter 6

She was as ready as she would ever be and they all got out of the limo one by one. She was alert and ready for anything. They parked in the woods and they are all preparing to sneak in since Draven had a way in that avoids the front. They went around the back way. They couldn’t just walk in since there were people that needed to be rescued, too. It was a lot for Mina to take in. Not only are they getting the stuff, but people took over. She actually wondered who would be stupid enough to take over a vampire place. They obviously didn’t think it through. They were all ready and alert, looking for signs as they snuck their way inside. Mina and Neo stuck together. The twins were there first and Draven was behind the twins. It wasn’t going to be easy. The place was huge and it smelled like mildew. There were even skeletons living in the wall already long decayed. Some even had skin rotting away, smelling like rot. But that didn’t stop them from coming to life.

The walls came alive the moment it sensed them and the battle was on. Luckily, Mina’s staff could also change into a sword. It was ready and the zombies focused their charge on them. They started shuffling toward them and everyone sprang into action. The zombies weren’t the fast ones either. Mina wasn’t afraid since she had been near them before. They were most likely guardians of the artifacts. She loved being in ruins. And it was easy to take them all out. She took out the sword and began cutting away. She chopped off the head of one and stabbed a few others. She kept chopping off their heads since that is how they are stopped. She enjoyed battle after slaving away at a cash register for so long. And the vampire in her enjoyed the blood shed. And her dad was good at it, too. He followed her lead and began taking off their heads. The twins also did their fair share of damage, and Mina saw Neo had one sneaking up by him while he was fighting one off. She took the one out before he even had a chance. Neo was good with a sword. They were taking down a lot of zombies shambling toward them. It also must have made the witches there nervous. Once the last of the zombies were gone the witches were standing right there. They were all women, too. Each had a different colored hair and all wore the same outfit: black leather pants, black silk shirts and black combat boots. One had long dark brown hair, the middle had long red hair and the last one had long blonde hair. The trio and Mina knew exactly who they were. She hated them since they used to be a part of her witch coven. Rose, Emerald and Vanity. They were dark witches cast out because of black magic. And they looked at Mina and smiled and it was Emerald who spoke up, “You do realize this is our place now?”

Mina shook her head, “No, it’s ours and we are the ones in charge now. Do you ever change? Or do you still torture innocents?”

She laughed, “We don’t do innocents, only bad people. Some of the members we have were brainwashed to think your mom was the good one. She is weak since she just has to play by the rules…”

Draven glared at them, “This isn’t for children who pout over rules and this place is vampire territory. You have no right to claim it as yours at all. So unless you want to end up with your head on a pike then go home and let them go. We are on something more serious than coven bullshit. Vampires actually take this seriously…”

“Very seriously...Indeed…” a voice said, and everyone turned to the voice and it came from a woman with long black hair, black eyes, and pale. She was a vampire, and not just anyone...Lillith was there. She was striking, too and had curves in all the right places and wore a long black dress. Everyone got to their knees when they saw her. She was the vampire of them all.

  “Lillith,” Draven said.

“Yes and I have been waiting for you all to show up. I know why you came here, too,” she said addressing the rogue witches. “You need my help like I will need yours,” Lillith added, addressing the vampires.

Mina looked at her mesmerized and missed her badly. She was happy to finally be rid of Derek to be with someone who will help her instead of hold her back.

“My goddess, I have finally returned to you. I was with a witch who hated my vampire nature. He never wanted me to be myself and got me to ignore it. I left him after he pushed me into a wall, and I am back for good. I even found my vampire mate,” she said.

Lillith went up to her and sighed, “I wanted to destroy him so badly after what he had done to you and you had so much potential. When I felt you, I had to put up a fight somewhat, but deep down I didn’t want to hurt you. I was happy to feel you back, more vibrant. I know what all is going on, and you can have my blood. And Draven..” She looked at him. And he looked back… “Take the sword since you will need it.”

She held out her hands and a sword appeared in front of her. One that is long and silver with a vampire head. She gave it to him.

He took it and looked at it with wonder, “This is the sword I have been searching for and looking for to help our people
out.”

She smiled, “It will since I need an army of good vampires and the bad ones have been making headway so we need all the help we can get. Especially the VampireWitches like Mina..”

The trio also left since it was the goddess herself that appeared. The rogue witches were so scared they ran.

Mina sighed, “I know we are in for a real fight. Let’s get the good witches out so we can get a move on the device.”

She ran towards the sounds, and saw the witches a few passages later through the rock and cavern. It was the earth to her and she felt at home. She saw the witches with looks of fear on their faces.

“The trio is gone.” She said removing all the bonds from them. Neo, Draven and the vampire twins followed her and began removing the stuff to free the good witches.

“You will come with us and we can drop you off,” he said to them.

“Thank you. They were planning on killing us all. The Trackers said they needed bait…” She trailed off.

Lillith was there and said, “Mina here…” And she gave Mina a vial of her own blood. Neo was there so Mina passed it down to him. And then Lillith vanished..Gone for now. Mina knew she would be back and her next goal was to take the witches out of there to some place safe. Once they were all free, they followed their team out of there….And somewhere in trying to get out, strong hands grabbed Mina. She felt a prick and icy cold went through her veins making her black out…

...It seemed like forever for her to wake up. She was groggy like she had way too much to drink, but she didn’t drink anything last night. The last thing she remembered was escaping and then nothing else afterward. Weird. She looked around the room. It smelled like mildew and mothballs. A dark basement since there was a window that looked out, and it was brightly sunny outside. She was stuck there for now. She was also locked in a cell with a bed, sink, toilet, and that was it. At least she wasn’t tied up. Her items were on a desk in the place. And that’s not all; there were others, too. She wasn’t alone; there were scared girls like her. All of them were half breeds. And there was also a body on one of the tables with the innards glistening in the light. Mina wasn’t bothered by that, her full half vampire potential was blessed by the goddess herself. She was also connected to Neo, her vampire mate. And she wanted to reach out to him through the connection they shared. Whatever knocked her out was out of her system.
